Thank you so much to everyone who has read and liked my reviews and to the members who liked them enough to nominate them for crowns. Thank you to Dooyoo for crowning and to all who think they are worthy. I am unable to write reviews as quickly or frequently as many of the awesome members whose reviews I enjoy reading so when I do submit reviews I am very glad that you enjoy reading them too :)

General info:
I'm a blogger and reviewer; love to try new products and particularly a fan of natural, ethical, organic, fair trade, cruelty-free products from food to clothing to cosmetics but I've sadly had my share of unhealthy and unfriendly products too. I'm very frugal though so try to be as savvy as possible and am always learning new tips from more experienced folk. I also like to enter competitions even though I have rotten luck and suffer from Murphy's law almost all of the time but I try my best!
Favourites and hobbies:
Books - I like to read comic fantasy and armchair detective books though my favourite books are usually serious and in different genres such as 'Hard Facts' by Howard Spring. For non-fiction I've read a fair amount of alternative science/health/history/politics books.
Movies - As I've grown older I've definitely moved from action, sci-fi, epic fantasy and period drama to comedy and classic film that are perfect matinee viewing; my favourite being You Can't Take it With You but I still enjoy modern films.
TV - (years ago when I watched tv) I watched a variety of shows from teenage comedy series to detective shows and documentaries, my favourites being the detective shows (not crime dramas) i.e. Monk, Murder She Wrote and Rockford but I also enjoyed retro comedies such as Mind Your Language and The Jeffersons.
Anime: When I was younger we knew the cartoons as manga as well as the comics but nowadays it's anime so... again I prefer comedies but my favourites are quite varied and include Detective Conan, Mushishi and Arakawa Under the Bridge.
Exercise: gymnastics, yoga, walking everywhere possible, dance.
Others: Theatre, exploring/sight seeing, spending time in libraries and cooking.
Music: I don't have a preference and favourite genres, if a song appeals to me then that's what matters.
Things I would have liked to have learned: I was good at learning languages when I was younger but didn't continue after school, travel, ice skating, break dance, tap dance, various martial arts, classical singing, should have studied maths privately to an advanced level instead of being put off at school and gardening(!) as I've never had a garden or enough indoor space but always wanted to grow fruit/veg/herbs.
Things I wouldn't have minded trying - play more chess, learn Go (another board game), water colours, circus skills, sky diving, mountain climbing, driving a motocycle, pottery and glass blowing.
Who I aspired to be: She-Ra and Indiana Jones (without the careless loves).
Quote: 'Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.' - Helen Keller
