I've been a fan of Donkey Kong since Mario was trying to save the girl from him. Donkey Kong Country was arguably one of the funnest experiences on the Super Nintendo, and it was a game that anybody could pick up. Donkey Kong Country Returns brings back the elements that made Donkey Kong Country such a huge success and made it more challenging. The graphics are just beautiful - really some of the best I've personally seen on the Wii...nice vibrant colors and great animation. This game is pretty difficult compared to the original Super Nintendo game but there is nothing wrong with a challenge. If you own a Wii and you are looking for a good game for actual gamers this is a perfect platformer for you. I hope this company makes a sequel to this game as it is one of the best games on the Wii and should be in anyones collection.
This camera is very attractive looking and sleek and convenient to carry around with you. It's a very user friendly camera too, the menus are a breeze to get around. The most important functions are the easiest to get to. In the right setting, light wise, this picture takes very clear beautiful pictures. The screen is also a good size...another plus is with most Sony cameras there is a chargeable battery which means you won't be spending a small fortune on AA Batteries. The downsides...well there are a few. Sometimes the camera doesn't seem to focus right when you turn it on (usually shutting it off and turning it back on fixes this problem. Any kind of weird lighting conditions like fluorescent lighting or if it's pretty dark the focus just looks horrible with automatic focusing. I guess I can recommend this camera if your looking for something cheap it's pretty good for the price but if you can afford a little more I'd probably steer clear of this one and get something a little higher on the scale.
BBQ... three letters that mean so much in the world of tasty food. This grill definately stands out with its bright yellow paint job. I must say the best thing about this grill is the tailgating. It is small and portable so it is perfect for game day. As for it's performance I believe a grill is only as good as the person that is grilling but I'll try to be subjective. I've only used mine twice so far and it did just as good as any other grill I've ever cooked on. I'm not a master chef or anything but my cheeseburgers were nice and juicy and the brats were just as good. My biggest complaint has nothing to do with the grill itself. It's that I haven't found a matching yellow cooler to tailgate with. All in all if your looking for a good priced, good quality grill for tailgating I'd go with this one if you want to stick out with the color.
If you've played any of the other recent Call of Duty games you know what to expect with this one. Another very enjoyable, yet short, single player campaign with an enjoyable story and an addicting multiplayer experience through PSN. In the campaign mode you go through the main charactters entire life in the military from vietnam to other locations. On a side note I love when you first go to Vietnam and the one song that is in every vietnam movie ever made starts playing, Fortunate Son by Lynyrd Skynyrd. There is a lot of variety in online mode from every man for himself to teams to capture the flag. Zombie mode also makes a return and is very addicting. Once you get really good at Zombie mode you can literally play a single game of it for 10 hours! The graphics are up to par with all of other in the series. Very fresh looking and draw you in. The voice acting is superb, including Ice Cube, Ed Harris, and Gary Oldman. Anyways if you are a fan of the series or want to start getting in on the addicting fun then I recommend this game to any person who loves first person shooters.
First off I want to say that this game has so many things going for it. Rockstar seems to be able to do no wrong when it makes a new game. The graphics they got with the new motion capture is amazing. The atmosphere, acting, music, and story are all top notch as well. Rockstar has takeno their familiar controls from hits like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption and put them in this new environment. The map at the bottom corner of the screen is very remicent of other two games mentioned. The game is kinda slow paced compared to a Grand Theft Auto game but it has to be. This isn't a game where you are playing a crime lord...instead your trying to solve crimes not commit them. Investigating crime scenes is something you'll be doing a lot of and they can be fun but they become a bit tedius. I don't know how well multiplayer would of fit into this world but it still huts a game these days to not have it. I would recommend this game to anybody who likes a good challenge and loves the other Rockstar games.
Usually when a company wants to release two games in the same series in one calendar year you get mixed emotions. Excitement and worry. Worried that quality is going to be compromised to get them out as soon as possible to make more $$. Luckily Ubisoft did not disapoint with this game. The graphics are beautiful and the game is very engaging. You play as both Desmond and Ezio through the story mode and the story is amazing...I don't want to give anything away from the story line. The gameplay and controls have gotten better aem without losing your cover or the person out to kill you will succeed. This series keeps getting better and better. Two great games in one year is an amazing accomplishment. Thanks Ubisoft for the great adventures. I recommend this game and I think everyone should try it out...even if you weren't a fan of the first one I think you should try this one. The gameplay has come a long ways.
Mortal Kombat is back to its glory days with a 2D fighting feel with beautiful updated 3D graphics that really draw you into the game while fulfilling your nostalgia need. This game has a lot of content both online and off. There is an epic story mode that goes through a story of the first three Mortal Kombat, a challenge mode which gives you 200 challenges to komplete plus the classic arcade mode and all the krypts to unlock hidden features will keep you busy for quite a long time. Online is really great too. You can just do straight up battle or you can do King of the Hill mode which is like being in an arcade...there are people in line to go against the winner and they vote on your performance at the end of the match.
The fighting mechanic will feel very familiar to old school Mortal Kombat fans. The graphics and the 5.1 sound system are both flawlessly presented. The Playstation 3 version has 3D...I don't have a 3D TV but the option is there. The gameplay is a little less complicated then Marvel Vs Capcom 3 or Street Fighter but it's fun and allows anybody a chance to get in there a duke it out.
The part I'm sure everybody is wondering about....the fatalities. This game definately earns it's Mature rating as this kid is not for children. The fatalities are brutal and very violent, babalities also make a return to lighten the mood a little bit. All in all I recommend this game, especially to old school Mortal Kombat fans.
