I grew up in Swansea, South Wales. When I left school, my first choice of career was that of a musician %u2013 I had attended piano lessons since the age of about 5 years, passing many exams. By the mid seventies, clubs were closing and I was more or less working a three-day (or should I say three-night) week. I recognised it was time to find something else to do. I trained as a clinical hypnotherapist and found a new main career. Then a year or two after that, I got into Zen and have practiced zazen (a type of Zen meditation to this day). I still carried on with my music career until it more or less petered out. Now I play just for myself and family etc. on a Yamaha Electone electric keyboards. I wish they had those around when I was playing professionally.
I got interested in writing about 8 year ago and attended a creative writing class at Cardiff Uni. Getting published though is another story, but I now love to write and read work on the internet..
Main interests are Music, jazz, self/spiritual development, helping others, gardening/diy, motoring, writing and blogging.
