Normally I would use mazzy and then eyelash curlers for that extra definition. But with this I can throw my babaric metal thing away. (I was never good with that thing). When you apply this mascara from the root of your lashes it stretches them and gives a nice natural looking curl. I've never taken much notice of various mascaras, I'm normally a 'any type will do' kinda girl, but this makes a huge difference to your face. As they say your eyes are the window to the soul so you want to have nice blinds!! I think this product is great except, I would recommend that you keep it in a cool place coz mine went a bit lumpy due to the heat from my computer in my small room. (oops)
My friend bought me the Simple skin care collection for Xmas (maybe to try to tell me something...I don't know?!?) and amongst this delightful gem of skincare products I discovered the purifying deep cleansing three minute mask. I love a great face mask when me and my friends have our pamper ourselves days and so I thought I'd try it out. I have tried so many masks and this one is the best. Simple in more than one way, you just slap it on, wait three minutes and then wash it off. My skin felt cleansed, tingly, clean and wonderful. There is also variations of this 3 minute miracle, including one that unblocks your pores which is very cool. The best thing is that it is so cheap and more effective than the expensive brands that we indulge in thinking they will be good because they're £15.00!! It's great for all types of skin including dry and/or sensitive skin. It doesn't smell of anything so it won't overpower your bubble bath!! Me and my friends love this range and I would recommend this to anyone, except I would say hide it from your mum because I always catch mine using my range!! Also it lasts for ages.
Dove always have the best products and the bath cream can also be added to this honour. I first encountered this last year when they were selling it with a free exfoliater type squidgy thing, so I bought it to sample. The difference in your skin is remarkable. This product is particularly good to use before summer, as it gives you healthy looking skin for when you bare your shoulders in the summer. It leaves your skin nourished and smelling fresh and clean without overpowering your perfume. It is great for all over body use and moisturises your skin also. I don't know about you but I hate have a shower and then putting mousturiser on coz I'm so impatient that I often justget the moisturiser on my clothes instead of my skin. I love this thick creamy wonderful dove. I say buy it.
This doesn't actually come under this title but never mind. Evening Primrose oil, is a gift to all men who suffer the wrath of PMT from their girlfriends. I personally think this stuff is great. It reduces those awful pains that we women get every month and is really cheap. Available from most health stores and chemists, and probably anywhere, this stuff is a marvel of the medical world. It comes it little capsules which are easy to swallow and just one a day stops you missing those great days out coz you're too cramped up to move from the couch. It beats a hot water bottle and sitting with your legs up the wall any day.
For many years I have taken vitamin C supplement and never really thought about it. My mum's a bit of a vitamin/supplements freak and so she forces me to take all kinds of things. However, in the past year, I stopped taking them and boy did I notice the difference. Erratic eating and late nights from exams have reduced my immune system to a tiny scrap in body fighting with all its might. And so in the past few months I have been plagued with coughs, sore throats, flu etc. So my mum has her chance to say I told you so. I recommend this wonder vit to anyone, particularly students coz things get kinda hectic and you need the backup in your body. So take vitamin C, or eat oranges!!
Sami is one player who the media really looks over. He is an exceptional defence player and has a vital role in the new Liverpool formula. Houllier has made some excellent decisions during the past season and Sami is his best so far. Emile Heskey, although criticised for his lack of goals, too plays an important role in the squad; he brings the ball forward in the game rather than shooting. All the criticism of Liverpool in the past few years has helped us develop and build into the team we are today and the fear that the new team draws from others in the premiership and in Europe is noticable. I think Liverpool are on the right track this season but they should play as well as they do against 'scumchester' against the smaller teams and then maybe we would see a few titles back at Anfield where they belong. I say well done Sami, keep up the good work, but also the whole team who are finally playing as a team. Here's to the premiership; coming home to us where it belongs.
I watched this film last night on sky box office and it really affected me. The basic storyline is a rich guy dies and his wife finds a film in his safe. She plays it only to find it is a snuff movie and she wants to know if the girl really dies, so she hires Nicholas Cage to investigate it. Its a really different film with lots of subplots and twists in the tale. Nicholas Cage delves deep into the world of pornography and S&M. Its an excellent film although if you are easily offended then i wouldn't watch it. The scene of the girls death is kind of disturbing. The actors are really good in their parts. The highlight of the film is at the end when the reality of the story comes to light. I won't tell you because it would spoil it but the film is really tense and dramatic and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I love horror movies, maybe because me and my best frind enjoy laughing a lot - who knows? I really like horror movies but they never scare me, but this one did. It scared me to think it ever was allowed to be screened under the genre of horror. It is ridiculous. The film is a mockery of all films. The special fx are wierd to say the least and there is no emphasis on the horror, and to be quite honest I think the director had an obsession with lesbians or something because there was too much emphasis on that. I have to say though, in the film, the part where the sculptures come alive is kind of freakish. That is the only highlight of the film. The acting is good in this film even though it is lousy. Liam Neeson is always a good actor but I prefer him in more classier films and I just feel sorry for Catherine ZJ for having to play her character so OTT. The guy with the funny nose (don't know his name) has the most annoying voice ever. The storyline is good but would be better as a book not a film. I have seen practically all horror movies and this one is an insult. I have seen better movies on channel five or living than this trash. Please do not rent this, donate your £2.50 or your £20 that you were going to buy it with to charity or something, that would be far more rewarding.
After opening a brand new major branch in my town centre, My friends and I were really pleased. In every magazine there are beautiful clothes and they're really cheap from H&M so we had to visit this place. In my regular visits to this shop in the past months, I have not really found anything that I would like to wear. There is some beautiful clothes on offer but the wardrobe basics like trousers and little tops are not to the standard that I like. The store does offer a great range of going out clothes, it may just be me being fussy, but I didn't like the quality. They're mostly made out of lycra, and well my figure does not like lycra. I wouldn't put this store down because it is a great bargain shop with some good quality clothes but not to my incredibly high standards. I would recommend you try it first and if you don't like it the first time then you probably won't at all.
Ok so we all love saving money but why do people suddenly develop a mental disease?? I mean take for instance Marks & Spencer. I go shopping with my mum, minding my own business in the fruit section when this oap suddenly appears from nowhere and whacks me with her basket whilst another is in the process of running over my foot with her trolley. Oh my god, do people have no manners??? And I'm sorry to be ageist but why do old people spout off about teenagers having no manners when they beat the hell out of us in city centre?? Don't even get me started on Top Shop and Miss Selfrige. What I want to know is why do people pick all the nice sales items up and them decide to throw them on the floor, scrunch them up so they look like they could scare any iron off, and then proceed to trample on the clothes so that they are not fit to wipe your nose with?? I really need to know! In my shop, I would have thought that respectable customers who normally shop here would not be subject to this illness but they're exactly the same. One woman watched me spend hours fixing the trousers on sale in leg length, colour, material so that they were perfect then bang, she jumps on them as soon as I move and totally messes them up. More trouser were on the floor than on the rail. Well, that was my weekly rant, feel free to think I am a woman scorned because you would be right.
This deodorant is the best thing that dove have ever made. I love the cream bath stuff but the deodorant comprises a whole mixture of excellence. As well as having the unique, clean lovely smell of dove, it is quite a strong deodorant but it is soft on your pits. You can use after defuzzing which is always good, particularly in summer, and it doesn't clog up your pores. I also find that it doesn't leave whit marks on your clothes because it is quite a light spray and so it dries easily. Another bonus is it is quite cheap so it doesn't break the bank to smell and feel fresh. I have always hated that advert with the ladies saying dove changed my life. I wouldn't go that far but it is an excellent anti-perspirant/deodorant and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Liverpool is a diverse city with a great deal to offer everyone. Recently, the regeneration has encouraged more upmarket brands to open shops here, from Karen Millen, Gap and French connection Liverpool offers a wide variety of shopping needs. As a student city, we have some great shops which offer incredibly cheap clothes and other items all within one city. If you visit, allow one of the city centre tourist navigators to direct you to The Palace and Quigins which offer some great fashinalble and alternatively unique clothes and accessories at bargain prices. Liverpool has its own indoor market, St Johns which has some great shoe stores and clothes stores to suit everyone's pocket. If, however, shopping isn't your thing then check out the great tourist attractions on offer. From the museum to the tate gallery or St Georges Hall, we have evrything that an art or history lover could want. The Albert Dock offers some excellent attractions as well as cafe bars and shops. On the way to the Albert Dock, you may come across Chavasse Park, which anually offers fairs and attractions, particularly towards Christmas. Radio City, the local award winning radio station, put together its first Party at the Pier last year which was an excellent success featuring many bands like Westlife, Atomic Kitten, Adam Rickett and many huge acts. Also the annual Liverpool show provides great entertainment around May/June for three days of non-stop fun. Lets not forget what Liverpool is really famous for, PARTYING. With famous clubs like Cream, Garlands and the Paradox, you are spoilt for choice. If you prefer a more homely pub then Liverpool has everything to offer from traditional pubs, Irish pubs and a huge amount of high street names like Yates' Square. Matthew Street, the origin of the Beatles offers a versatile range of pubs and clubs, but they do tend to become very busy on Saturday nights. Finally, who could forget our sacred love for foot ball. While you're here visit the two clubs or the football shops with a chance of seeing a few Pemiership idols or maybe even some of the cast of Brookside. I recommend trying the Arena Bar (Bold Street) or the Blue bar (Albert dock) for star spotting. I have often seen Louise, wife of Jamie Redknapp shopping in town so girls, keep your fellas on a leash! Well what more can I say about this wonderful town other than visit here!!
For years, this product has been the secret weapon of any make up artist but who knew that petroleum jelly could be soooo versatile??? Lets talk facts here, you run out of mascara and if you have no sister and you're going out in half an hour it doesn't look good. slap some vaseline on your lashes and curl them with eyelash curlers. Great. Dry skin on your elbows - vaseline wonder product works again. Sore lips, too much kissing? vaseline works hundreds of times better than those £10.00 lip balms you buy in Boots at the stores thinking they'll work because they're expensive. Also works well over or under your lipstick. You stick it on your skin to avoid getting hair dye on your face when you dye your hair. Vaseline is a wonder product and I just love it, its so cheap and yet so useful. Never leave home without it, and now they come in handy little tins which is quite cool. Lets face it, if the supermodels use it then we must be doing something right so I say get your vaseline in your bag and use it with pride!! PS - please inform of any other vaseline tricks you know and share with the rest of dooyoo.
This album compiles the superior soprano singer's finest songs as well as a few bonus tracks, which she provides a 'humourous'explanation of why she has chosen these. I really admire Mariah's song writing and voice but the singer is quite annoying in her CD booklet. The CD features some great soulful tracks, my particular favourite featuring boyz II men, from her album fantasy, one sweet day. Aswell as some classics that we often sing when we are extremely intoxicated at karioke clubs, yes, you guessed it - hero is featured in this album. From the bonus tracks there is some excellent tasters of Mariah's new sound, like sweetheart, but my all time favourite song on this album would have to be featuring Brian McKnight, an exceptional ballad duet with a guy with a great voice. The remixed version of fantasy with ODB is great, full of hiphop and rythm as well as Mariah and ODB at their best. On the whole, this album has a lot to offer, with a mixture of ballads, soul and hip hop and for when your mum's in the timely classics. A good buy if you're a fan of Mariah or if you find yourself humming the tune even though she irritates you. I wouldn't reccomend it however, if you do not like her because her original style is clearly visible throughout.
This range is so worth the money you pay for it. A great fruity fragrance and removes build up as well as being soft on your hair. You've saw the ad with Jennifer love Hewitt and if you're like me you would have thought 'oh dear - doesn't look like it got rid of her product build up' but it does. The shampoo is clear and cleans your hair leaving it bouncy and light and not limp. The conditioner smells gorgeous and leaves your hair smooth but not fly away like some do. My hair is quite manageable now, when its usually screaming "hi! I'm a bush" so yes I recommend this product a lot. If you use lots of mousse, gel, serum etc. then this is the thing for you. Quite cheap considering its a neutrogena product too.
