I would not normally buy Flymo because it is a brand that I assume is expensive but this mower only cost me £39.99. It was not the cheapest on the market but I still thought it was a bargain for the Flymo brand. When I opened the box, I was alarmed that the mower was not complete it needed to be put together. However, please be assured that it was really simple to assemble. The base unit, so the actual mower, was complete, witht he blades all fixed in place. It was just the handle that was in two sections and needed to be fitted on. This was as straightforward as screwing on a nut. The mower has plastic blades, which some people do not like because they do not cut as sharply but I prefer them because I think they are safer. I have found that this cuts the grass evenly and neatly. I am more than happy with the cut. The mower is very lightweight to use and to carry into storage but is slightly awkward, like all mowers of is style. The grass flies everywhere during a cut but spreads evenly on the grass so you don't cut clumps of dry grass showing a few days later.
This halogen heater is amazing, I would not give up my central heating for it, obviously, but for this type of heater, it really is great. I picked mine up for 15.99 in a local shop. We needed an e tea heater as one of our rooms does not have central heating and we were stuck in that room while some building work was being done. The heater was adequate to keep us warm in a medium-sized room. It is an odd sort of heat because as soon as the heater is switched off, the heat disappears. It is almost instant. This is a shame and it is why I do not think you could only use these heaters. However, they are good for taking the edge off the cold if you do not want to put the central heating on. A real positive about this heater is that it oscillates. This means the heat can move around the room very slightly, which helps keep the room warmer. Alternatively, if you do not wish it to oscillate, it can be put on the still setting and it will not move. One problem with this heater is the bright light that emits from it. It is difficult to look at and so it needs to be positioned correctly so it does not disturb you. The heater is pretty sturdy but will cut out if it falls over. It is very cheap to run so can be left on without worrying about huge heating bills.
This heater cost me £9 from Tesco. It is small and compact but does give out a fair amount of heat for the size of he heater. We have an extremely small office space a home and wanted something little. This absolutely fitted the bill. This heater is ideal for small rooms because it is only about 20-25cm wide and a similar height. We keep it under a desk and it takes the edge off the coldness in the room, without us having to put the central heating on to heat the whole house. As it is so light, it can be moved around easily if you want o use it elsewhere. There are two heat settings on this little heater. What made me buy this heater, other than the price, was the fact it has a temperature control, which is very impressive for this end of the market. Although the heat does not dissipate throughout the whole room, due to the controls, you can create the perfect temperature within a limited radius of the heater itself. The lack of movement is a big disappointment. We should have researched it properly but assumed it would turn around. It does not. When we bought it we didn't realise but this also operates as a fan. We do not often use this function but it is excellent whenever we have. On very hot days when it is just as hot outside as in and you do not wish to open a window, this fan helps to keep a small room cool. It doesn't cool the room down a great deal but it keeps the air moving an this eventually cools it down. The heater will cut out if it gets too hot or if it falls over. These are both important safety features. The heater makes a small amount of noise. It is not the worst that I have heard but also, you would definitely not call it silent.
This is the main computer that we have at home. All the family use it and we use it a lot. We have had it nearly two years now and it is almost part of the family. It is well made, resilient, family-friendly and very easy to use. This computer has been very reliable. It always switches on when we turn it on, without any problems. It does not suddenly crash, turn itself off, freeze or lose files. Believe I have had several computers that have done all of these! My favourite feature of the computer, is what first attracted me to this model. It has an enormous screen. Initially is was a bit of a shock but the quality of the picture is so clear and the mages so crisp, you almost lose yourself in it and within seconds, you have become accustomed to the size. One slight problem is that it spoils me. When I have to use an ordinary size monitor at work, it feels tiny! All computers should have this size monitor. The size of the monitor is not just great because it is clear and nice to look at. It is incredibly practical. You can find things on your desktop easily. Also, when you have more than one window open, they overlap in such a way that enables you to see a fair amount of the window at the back. This makes navigation far easier. There are three USBs on the computer, which have proven plenty for me but I know more recent models can have more. For those who need to know, there is a dual core processor of 2.8GHZ. This again has been enough for my needs and I have found the computer to process quite quickly. I prefer Apple to Microsoft operating systems. They seem more streamlined and far more reliable but they do take a while to get used to if, like me, you have spent your entire career working on Microsoft Office. Also, the Apple store is incredibly helpful in helping you learn your way around and also if any problems arise. You might expect that when you spend over £1000 on a computer but it is certainly not the case everywhere.
I bought this watch on a whim. I liked the bright lime green colour and thought it would look cool with some matching shoes that I have. It does. The watch comes in several bright colours and also black. Personally I felt the style of the watch merited an out-there colour. Lime green was perfect! The watch strap is a continuous soft rubber band that slips over the wrist easily. There is some give in the rubber so it is perfectly comfortable to slip it on. The watch comes in three sizes, small, medium and large. They are quite a generous 'cut' if that is the right word. I am not that slim but needed the small size to stop the watch moving around too much while I was wearing it. The face has the time in digital numbers. It is quite unusual because rather than the numbers being all in one line, the hours are on the top and the minutes underneath. You can choose whether to use a twelve or twenty four hour clock, which s a nice touch. This watch was only 10.99 so I probably should not have pecked very much but it don even last a year before it started losing time drastically and need up in the bin.
This is the laptop bag that I keep at home for my personal laptop. I quite often bring home the office laptop and I wanted something that was different to that. So many laptop bags are black, plain and boring. This fabulous bag is none of those things. It is cool! It is a grey colour, which might not sound all that if fervent to black but it is a light grey and believe me, that makes all the difference. My favourite bit of the design is the big chunky letters DNM sewn at an angle across the front. This is on top of a white pattern, which is just in one corner of the bag. It is subtle, stylish and different. OK, moving on from my rather superficial reason for choosing this bag. It is an extremely comfortable fit. The strap is adjustable so can be worn at a comfortable length. The strap has a section that is very well padded for your shoulder and so this is comfortable to wear for quite a long time. My handbag is heavy so I am used to carrying a weight around! The laptop case itself is lightweight before you fill it up! The bag fits my 15inch laptop with room to spare. It would certainly fit a slightly larger laptop. The laptop can be secured into the main section so that you know it is safe. I also use this section to hold my magazines. It would hold A4 documents if you wanted to use this as a work laptop bag. There is an additional large pocket that is useful for chargers, mobile phones, purse and any other small bits that you can squeeze in. It is roomy enough that when I want to take my laptop out with me, I tend not to take my handbag, unless it is a long journey and I really cannot do without certain items. It is certainly large bough for the essentials. The bag is well padded, strong and sturdy. I have used it a lot since getting it. It has travelled on trains, buses and was even dropped off a sofa in a cafe. It has remained in good working order. No seams have split and dirty marks have been cleaned off without leaving any stains. Most importantly with the drop, none of the contents were damaged. The laptop was undamaged and the charger still works well. It was not a massive drop but still a bit of a worry when it happened. I wouldn't want to comment on how the laptop would fair in a big impact accident. The laptop case cost me about £30, which is certainly not particularly expensive for a laptop case. I would not expect a case of this price to offer both the style, convenience and quality of this one. In fact, given there are not that many quirky laptop cases on the market, I would go so far as to say this is a bargain. I have not owned a Golla product previously but over the last few months, this bag has proved to be excellent quality. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone wanting something a little bit different. This bag offers style without compromising on safety for your precious laptop inside.
One of the younger members of our household has recently purchased their first netbook. It is their pride and joy and obviously needed something to keep it safe when it was out and about. So, of course, it had to be pink. This item fitted the criteria perfectly. I agreed, as at £12.99, it was the cheapest available. When it arrived, I was absolutely amazed at the quality. It isn't as good as either the office case that I use o my home laptop case but they each cost considerably more. So far,she has not dropped it, however the case is pretty well padded so if an accident did happen, I think this case should provide adequate protection. There is a handle to carry or a shoulder strap that can be adjusted to accommodate younger people. For a younger person, this case is ideal, as there are plenty of pockets for all those dozens of random things they like to carry around. This is especially good for the mouse, to stop it scratching or banging the netbook. All in all, although the design is clearly for kids, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means that they actually want to protect their netbook. This is a must for a sensitive item like a netbook. All to often kids and teenagers forget to look after their things. This case makes them want to look after their things.
I have used this bag for several years and it has been extremely useful. It would fit most laptops, as it has plenty of room in the main section. If you have a very narrow laptop, it should still be very safe as there are two handy Velcro straps inside that enables you to securely retain your laptop in a snug position. However, if you have bought a very flat, narrow laptop, there is little point in then buying a bulky bag for it. My laptop is your average office size and the bag is a good fit. As well as the main section for the laptop, and perhaps any A4 papers you need to carry around - providing you not wan too many. Just a few documents would fit. There is also a pocket on the front which is useful for chargers, mobile phones and even an iPad or tablet would fit. I usually carry several chargers for all my different devices, a mouse, mobile a small tablet and with careful packing, it all fits well. The bag is well padded and the strap is comfortable to wear for carrying the laptop. The handle is also quite a comfortable fit, which takes some pressure off your shoulder if you want a change of position. The bag looks quite smart. It is a pretty generic plain black laptop carry case design. It works for me but not very unique or individual. I need this for my line of work, which is what I use it for. I have never dropped my laptop but it does get bumped around a fair bit on public transport and has survived well in this case. I believe it provides good protection for the contents inside. At £25 a few years ago, this has proved excellent value for money. It still looks pretty new and there has been no obvious damage, despite extensive use. I would highly recommend this laptop case.
I ordered this laptop sleeve online and due to the handle thought it would be a good buy for a laptop carry case. I don't carry my laptop for long distances so thought this would b ideal. It is not. It is no more than a sleeve. And for £15, I expect more than a simple padded sleeve. Maybe I expect a lot for my money but my laptop cost a lot and has some precious stuff on it so why would I choose to protect it with a little sleeve? If the handle was not on this product, maybe I would have been more aware but why put a handle on a sleeve? I am sure it is strong enough but I do not trust it and have never carried my laptop by the sleeve's handle. The sleeve open up halfway with two zips. It should be easy to use Nd slip your laptop in and out but this very much depends on the depth of your laptop. Mine is not a huge old laptop but it is a fairly snug fit. As a sleeve, it is pretty good quality. It basically provides a place to keep your laptop dust-free. That's all I can say for it. Personally, I was very disappointed!
Lets be honest, the main reason anyone, including myself, would buy this product is because of its colour. You don't find many yellow kitchen accessories. This looks amazing. It is really bright and cheerful. It looks smart and expensive. It's £45 so not exactly cheap but this blender punches way above its weight in terms of stylish glamour on your kitchen work top. The brand Morphy Richards is a trustworthy and reliable brand. This product is worthy of the Morphy Richards name. It works well. It is easy to use. It s easy to change the different attachments. It is easy to clean. The main blender blades are extremely sharp and chop well. I have chopped nuts, herbs, and even hard cheese in this blender. All done brilliantly. I have mixed cakes with the mixer attachment. It is far easier than doing it by hand and the cake turee out beautifully. The one downside for me is that the jug that comes with I does not seem to match the rest f the set in terms of quality r colour. It is fine but not as thick plastic. I love my Morphy Richards blender. To be honest, I might be harsher on this if it was not for the fact the colour is so cheerful and awesome! Buy it!
I trust Black and Decker products, especially power tools, as my father has always used them. I have owned this model of black and decker power drill for a long time. It only comes out for the occasional DIY project but it has not shown any signs of reducing in capacity or deteriorating a all. This is probably in part because the case is so incredible. It is very thick, hard, strong plastic. It is very useful because it as a handle so can e carried easily, along with all the other bits you inevitably need for those DIY jobs. The drill itself is quite heavy but not oo easy to lift up to use hat height. It is merely heavy in terms of being solid and well-made. The handle is large enough to be able to get a comfortable grip and due to the design and material, it does not slip or become sweaty. This drill has two speeds for use on different types of material. It is cordless so you need to ensure the battery is charged up. The fact tat it is cordless is definitely a bonus, as it makes DIY a lot easier when there are not hundreds of wires everywhere. This has lasted really well and is incredibly easy to use. I would highly recommend it.
To be honest, I would not have ever considered buying a power screwdriver. I have always used a hand driver and that has always been fine. Then I needed to put up some shelves and couldn't. So I borrowed thus power screwdriver from a neighbour. Shortly after I went out and bought this model. I was so impressed. I cannot believe I struggled with hand-power for so long!! This is really excellent. The case is good. It is sturdy and great to keep the screwdriver safe and sound when not in use. The drill handset is ergonomic and sturdy. It feels good in your hand and enables you to have good control during drilling. It is very easy to fit the drill bits into the head of the drill. There is a big red on and off button, which is easy and comfortable to use. I have always trusted Bosch for washing machines. Never imagined I would own a Bosch power screwdriver. I am so glad I do. For anything that needs a bit more strength, this is the tool to use. I picked this up for the bargain price of £20 in a sale in my local DIY shop. Hopefully you will be able to find it as a bargain elsewhere. Highly recommended.
This drill bit set cost me £12. For 46 different pieces in a really sturdy case, I think that is excellent value for money. The drill pieces are all chunky, sturdy and well made. The case is extremely sturdy. All the pieces fit in it easily and can be removed easily when you want to use them. The fact that they all have a slot to stay in means that you can easily find the exact bit that you need. Also, because of the layout, you can compare sizes so find the next size up or down without any fuss at all. There is a great selection of different sizes. The case is straight forward to open and close, without clasps hurting your fingers, as can sometimes be the case. It stays shut once clipped. In terms of the tools themselves, they are strong and hard-wearing and do an excellent job. This is, obviously, the most important thing!! They fitted both my power drills easily. All in all, this is a total bargain for a really great product. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product. I found mine in Lidl on one of their specials.
This was bought to use with my tablet. I enjoy watching YouTube musc videos but the quality f my tab let's speakers is very poor. This was about £14 so not the cheapest on the market but certainly very reasonable. In my opinion, you get really great value for money with this product. The sound quality is excellent or such a small speaker. I would go as far as to say that if I lived in a very small flat, I would probably be happy to use this as my main speaker. I know that is quite a claim but it is true. The volume can go quite high. Probably not loud enough for a party of course but loud enough for normal every day use. There is good depth to the tone and no tinny sound whatsoever. There is n internal battery and you charge it via USB. Another great selling point from my perspective, what with the plethora of chargers you can end up with! The battery life between charges is ten hours or o. It says 11 hours on the box - just checked! And it is probably exactly that! You can't ask for more from such a cheap and tiny speaker. Highly recommended!
This printer was only £35, which I thought was extremely reasonable for an all in printer/scanner. I was amazed at how easy it was to set up. As if by magic, it found the wifi itself and also the computer. I use a laptop and just had to turn both machine son and seemed to do the rest itself automatically. I have to be honest, I normally leave this sort of thing to my other was very impressed at how easily I could do this The one downside to this printer is the cost of the cartridges. They are £7 and the printer takes four different ones. I have not yet been able to find them cheaper but I'm sure eventually a supermarket will do an own brand version. I the meantime, I am a little disappoints. I should have researched cartridge prices better before buying. I use my laptop in a completely separate room from my printer and yet it is extremely easy to send things to print. I have never had a problem with connections. The quality of the printing is excellent. I was very impressed. Also, the scanning function is easy to use and the quality is almost photographic. All in all, a really great little printer. Highly recommended!
