having read a previous review in shannon airport I agree that it is dirty no where to sit really if your flight is delayed and nothing to do. I come from fhe mid west region of clare where the airport is and travel there many times during the year to see my family and I know this airport inside out. The prices at the shops and restaurant are very pricy as everything in the republic is. In the past it was the main stop over for american tourists so the shops reflect this with all the Celtic goods on sale that wouldnt be of interest to the modern tourist. Once one of my children didnt come out at the same time as me through the green exit and I was frantic with worry - the garda wouldnt allow me to go back in to find him and I couldnt get him to come to me- the garda was dead rude and v unhelpful and he wouldnt just look around the corner and get him for me. My son is disabled and we just took our eyes of him for a minute as we though he was coming up behind us. but the airport is convienent for the west of Ireland if you are travelling west its a small airport with ryan air taking us back to the uk. Car hire is convienently situated in the main entrance the staff there are v nice and have upgraded us to a biger care at no extra cost some times. Parking is convienent to the entrance.Disabled parking just out side in the parking area. You do need a car to get round as public transport is poor. I think staff used to be friendlier before we had low cost airlines. Shannon is situated well for exploring Kerry.Cork,Clare and Galway otherwise use another airport as distances may not be great but the roads are terrible and it will take you longer.
After owning an iPod nano beforehand, and after having a go on a friends iPod touch, I decided to upgrade to it and I was pleasently surprised. It is easy to use and is much more fun than a regular iPod. With the app store, you can download new applications or games to run on the iPod, most are free but there are some applications you must pay for. The paid games and applications however are very good value for money, most being £0.99. The iPod touch is much more than a music player, it also has a full web browser which connects via wifi so you can always be connected around your house as long as you have a wireless network set up. With OS 3.0, recently released by apple, copy and paste has been brought to the iPod touch, it is built in across all applications on the device and is very useful. Overall it is a very good device and I am very glad I bought it.
I have been using Windows 7 since before the beta was made available to the public. And over the past couple of months, I've had no problems whatsoever. It runs faster and better than vista, which I had used previously, since I got my laptop. The new interface is much improved since XP and Vista, with the new taskbar acting more like a dock, which you can put your favourite applications on to run whenever you want. The new 'Action Centre' is also very helpful, it notifies you when something is wrong with the system and provides solutions to fix them. For example if your virus definitions are out of date, it will tell you to update them to secure your system. The new usability features are also really helpful, you can drag a window up to the top of the screen to maximise them, and to the left or tight of the screen to fill up that side of the screen. This feature is helpful if you want to run and see two applications at the same time. Also the 'Aero Peek' button on the bottom right of the screen is also very helpful, if you click it, it minimises everything and you will be at the desktop. Also, if you hover over it, you will be able to see the desktop behind your applications, which go transparent. Overall Windows 7 is a very well made operatings system, much improved from Vista and I would highly recommend it.
we departed from leeds bradford last october I found the experience good. Its a small airport by comparison to others we have departed from. The staff were friendly the queue for securitywent smoothly no real hassle. The food in the main restaurant upstairs was not that great Not good value for money .It was a snowy day the day we travelled and the plane needed to be deiced before we left this was done quite quickly and with no delay. We flew with a low cost airline to prague for a few days . The airport is fine to get to no hold ups along the way. the small shops in the airport are great for those last minute items but like all airport shops a bit pricey. I would fly from leeds bradford again as it is a good alternative to manchester or liverpool I like small airports as they are easy to get through and dont have millions of people hanging about its just in and out and up and away.regional airports are better than your big ones more personal with helpful staff who have time for you.
I have being flying with Ryanair for the past twenty years and am lucky that I have never been let down by them. In their defence I must give credit where it is due. I and my family would never have been able to visit so many European countries on my tight budget if it were not for Ryanair. The airline takes safety seriously and has 100% record. So I feel safe travelling with Ryanair with my family. However other aspects are different. Comfort is not a priority and the booking system is not user friendly. Having to uncheck boxes that would otherwise cost me money is an absolute pain. But my biggest gripe is with the credit card fees per person. I was so irate with Ryanair that I recently went about getting an electron card to avoid it. I succeeded in getting one with Barclays, but be careful to get a basic account from them, otherwise you may not get the electron card. One word of caution - I haven't had the opportunity of testing it yet but hope to do so in the near future.!!
We bought this Breadmaker from Comet about five years ago and it has served us very well ever since. I got advice from the shop assistant who recommended it on the basis that he had one for several years and it had given no trouble. When I was paying for it he tried to sell me an exztended warranty. I declined and said if it was as good as he said I didn\t need it!! It has been very reliable except for the raisin and fruit dispenser. Over time for some reason it has lost its ability to stay shut until the machine releases it. The other point was the yeast. We got a large box it it went flat in a short time, so we recommend buying the saches instead. All the family use it for different programmes like the pizza base but my favourite is the wholemeal bread loaf first thing in the morning by using the timer.
