A couple of years ago I used to use this body lotion all the time. Every day! But it disappeared off the shelves for a while and I was completely gutted.
But it's back and I'm so happy!
I love it. It's a very light lotion and the shimmering particles are subtle and perfect.
My boyfriend always notices when I'm wearing it and remarks on the nice sparkle my skin has.
So, the packaging is nice. It's typical Dove style. I like the wording on the bottle and it has a nice texture to the plastic.
The price isn't too bad. Not cheap, but not expensive. My last bottle was £4.99 from superdrug, but I've found it cheaper in the past.
The lotion is really light and sinks into the skin easily. I would prefer it to be slightly thicker in texture, but its nice how it is. I would say its for normal skin, rather than dry.
The scent is quite nice too. It's not overpowering at all, instead its very faint, so you can still wear perfume or bodyspray and it won't be affected.
I bought this Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner as it was on offer in a local chemist and I was really impressed. Dove does it again!
The Packaging is really nice. Its a nice tube with shiny label. The flip lid is good except for when your hands are wet it's a little tricky. I had to use my teeth!
You get a lot of product in the bottle. It seems to last which is good.
I've used it a few times. The first couple of times I used it and left it on for a few minutes and rinsed it off. My hair was left really shiny and manageable.
I also left it on overnight and rinsed it out in the morning and wow! what a result. Got all my knots out and it felt so soft!
The smell is beautiful. Not too strong. The consistency is just right and like I say, you don't need a lot to cover your hair.
I will definitely be buying this again.
I bought this toner after having a lovely Elemis facial in a spa. The therapist gave me a list of the products she used on my skin and I went straight home and bought some of them!
I always cleanse, tone and moisturise but usually I watch the pennies and never spend more than £5 on each! So I thought I'd treat myself.
I use the rosepetal cleanser or the pro-radiance cleanser first (yes, I bought them both!) and then spray the toner over my face and wipe clean with some cotton wool. This is what it says to do on the bottle, but after reading other reviews, I might just spray a little onto some cotton wool first before wiping over my face. Spraying it directly on the face I think wastes alot as you use much more. Plus it can spray everywhere (hair etc) so I think you waste a bit that way. It is very refreshing to spray it on, but maybe by spraying a little directly onto cotton wool and then wiping this over the face would be easier and would make the bottle last longer.
The product comes in a lovely expensive-looking glass bottle with a spray-top. It smells devine and the spray is really light and refreshing.
It isn't cheap but I'll definitely be buying it again. You can get some good bargains online so make sure you have a good shop-around, rather than buying directly from a spa (sorry spas!).
I have always cleansed toned and moisturised twice a day since I was a teenager, but always chosen the cheap/medium priced products.
Until I had an Elemis facial that is! I had the facial as a treatment in a spa and fell completely in love with their products on the spot.
The therapist used the Rosepetal cleanser and when she applied it, it felt wonderful and smelt very nice. Afterwards she gave me a list of the products she used on my skin and as soon as I got home I scanned the internet for the cheapest price and ordered one straightaway.
I've used it twice a day since and I've even had a few comments from people about the glow I have on my face. So it must work pretty well! My skin feels really soft and the little dry patches from the winter months have disappeared. I use it before their Gingseng Toner (I'll leave a review for that too) and their Maximum Moisture cream and it takes off all my makeup easily and quickly. No rubbing is necessary!
It comes in a nice sturdy bottle within a box. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth the money as it seems to be lasting quite a long time.
Would definitely by it again.
My housemate used to use this when she straightened her rather crispy over-bleached dry hair. One day I asked if I could try it with my heated rollers and since then I have never looked back. I'm on my 3rd bottle and just love it!
I wash my hair and let it dry naturally. Then I smooth some of this product into the lengths and comb through. Once my heated rollers are nice and hot, I put them in and leave them for half an hour.
The Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique (bit of a mouthful!) leaves my hair shiny and smooth and healthier looking.
The texture of the product is really nice and smoothes on easily. The smell is good; quite subtle.
One bottle lasts me ages. You only need a small amount to spread into your palms and apply to your hair.
I've also used this for straightening too and it leaves my hair really silky to the touch.
It comes in a lovely expensive-looking bottle which is in a nice box.
i would definitely recommend this product. It's a tad expensive but well worth it as it lasts ages.
