      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      I wouldn't recommend this to a friend

      Packaging:
The packaging looks pretty cheap in all honesty, the lid is see through which makes it look like one you would get in a un branded make up set. The only colour on the tube are the purple dots which isn't exactly the prettiest thing I've ever seen, however the lid does stay on pretty well.

      Price & Availability:
This product is only available from Avon representatives or on the website which makes it a pain in the neck to buy as personally I don't order off Avon and don't know any representatives, although this maybe different for you.
It costs £3.75 which is a decent price however there are better lipsticks available for cheaper at the drug store.

      Product Itself:
I only have this lipstick in a very natural shade so I can't comment much on pigmentation but judging by the one I have it is fairly pigmented. The smell of the lipsticks is really off putting as they reek of cheapness and smells a bit like old lady lipstick!

Overall I wouldn't recommend this to a friend because MUA lipsticks beat this by miles.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

      Packaging:
The packaging for this lipstick looks the same as any other but it's a little bit shorter and thicker than usual, the lid isn't the most secure so I wouldn't carry it around with me personally but it doesn't come off mega easily either.
The main thing I like about the packaging is that in the base, the bit thats coloured, you can screw it off and it contains more of the lipstick which I think is a really cool feature.

      Price & Availability:
This retails for £1 at Superdrug only, it's very very cheap and I would be willing to pay a bit more because I really like this lip stick.

      Product Itself:
I really like this lipstick because it's really pigmented and you only need to do one coat of it to get a good colour pay off, also, there is a wide range of colours to chose from which you sometimes don't get.
I haven't actually tested the longevity of this because I only own reds and I'm too scared to wear them out at the moment so unfortunately I can't comment on that aspect however even if you do have to reapply throughout the day it only cost you £1 so it doesn't matter if you go through it a bit faster.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Nothing majorly wrong with it

        Packaging:
The packaging to this is al right, the product comes in a see through plastic tub which I like because you can see how much product you have left and what colour it is so there's no faffing about. Once you unscrew the lid there's a plastic sifter which I finds lets a good amount of product out, quite a little bit but I prefer that than having too much come out.

        Price & Availability:
I don't remember how much this cost me, actually I think I got it free at Superdrug a while back, however if you really did want to try this out I'm sure Amazon stock it quite cheaply.

        Product Itself:
I chose this in a green colour called Pixie, therefore I don't use this product that often but I find that when I do use it the only problem is that the product leaves fall out all over my cheeks which isn't much of a problem but still a bit annoying.
I think this is fairly pigmented and a little bit does go a long way, however, I prefer just using regular eye shadows because they are easier to work with.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
The lip balm flavour I'll be reviewing is 7 up, this balm comes in a bright green tube which is very eye catching (the fourth one in on the picture). I chose this one because I prefer 7 up than any of the other flavours available.

        Price & Availability:
In all honesty this product doesn't serve that well as a lip balm and therefore the price tag of £2.99 is pretty pricey and it's obvious that you're only paying for the novelties not because it's actually a good quality lip balm. That being said I don't regret this purchase at all.
The only place I've found this product is at Claires which I don't mind as there's one in my local town, however I've seen this on Amazon so you can still find it.

        Product Itself:
As I've already said this product doesn't actually work that well as a lip balm because it isn't very moisturising however the main selling point of this product is that it smells and tastes like lemonade and it 100% does this. I probably wouldn't buy any other products from this range because I think it's a little pricey however it is a cute novelty for children I think.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
This lipstick comes in a dark blue plastic tube with slightly rounded ends, I think the packaging looks very chic and more expensive then a low end drug store brand. One bad thing about the packaging is that the lid comes off really easily, and while this is good to have on your dressing table it wouldn't be a very good idea to carry it around in your handbag.

        Price & Availability:
This product currently costs £2.60 at both Boots and Superdrug which I think is a very good price, also it is available at both of the leading drug stores which means it's very easy to get your hands on and you won't be disappointed when you do!

        Product Itself:
I have the colour Malaga which is a classic red, the lipstick smells really nice, very vanillary and almost like edible rice paper! When I apply this lipstick it's really pigmented, it only needs one coat and it stays on pretty well. Also, the formula is really nice and creamy which means you don't even need to use lip balm before you apply and even when I take it off it hasn't dried out my lips in the slightest.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
The packaging to this product is really sturdy plastic, the lid doesn't come off extremely easily so it will be good for when you're out and about. The lid is transparent plastic so that you can see the colours and inside the palette there's an applicator (which I don't like to use) and a tiny mirror strip which is fairly handy.

        Price & Availability:
This product cost me £3.50 and is only available from Superdrug, therefore it makes it a really affordable palette which includes 10 fairly small shadow colours which is great value for money.

        Product Itself:
The eye shadows are really pigmented and I find they stay on the eyelid for quite a while before they fade however if you touch your eyelid the eye shadows do begin to fade then.
The palette I chose was number 2 which contains lots of bright eye shadows, I chose this one simply because I don't own any colourful eye shadows and even though I barely use it, it only cost £3.50 so I'm really not too fussed. I really look forward to trying some of their more neutral palettes.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend a different colour

        Packaging:
The packaging to this is like any other drug store lipstick except instead of using a dark coloured plastic as they usually do, this is a pearly white colour which is quite nice although it does look pretty cheap. Also, the lid doesn't fall off but at the same time it doesn't take much force to open so it may not be the best product for travelling.

        Price & Availability:
This is only available at Boots and it costs £1.99 which is super cheap and most of the time the Natural Collection range at Boots has a 3 for £5 offer on.

        Product Itself:
I really do not recommend the colour that I bought which is Candy Mist, I do not like this colour because it's so sheer all it does is add a little bit of a pearly shimmery look to your lips which isn't what I wanted since it looked like a really nice light pink colour in the tube.
However if you want to try a different colour I would think this lipstick is a good choice because the texture is quite nice and moisturising, not drying at all.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
The packaging to this eye liner is pretty simple it's just a pencil and the only things written on it are the ingredients and the name. One thing I love about this pencil is that the lid is also a sharpener which is so handy, although it can sometimes become messy.

        Colour Range:
There's 6 colours of this eye liner -silver, light blue, dark brown, light brown, black and jade. I really like the colours on offer because they are all neutral and I prefer neutral shades on the eyes over bright colours. The colour I have is the dark brown.

        Price & Availability:
This product is only available at Superdrug and also on line, therefore it makes this product a pretty exclusive thing, however there's Superdrug stores all over the UK so I wouldn't think it would be that hard to come by. The price of this pencil is only £1 which I think is just amazing!!

        Product Itself:
Personally I do prefer just a normal eye liner without glitter however this is just down to my opinion and there's nothing wrong with these pencils at all.
I find that because the texture of this is pretty creamy it's easy to apply to the eye and blend out, also you can put it on your waterline and it doesn't hurt in the slightest. This creamy texture also means that I find myself sharpening it quite often but I don't really mind as it was so cheap.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
The thumbnail picture and the can I've got have different designs on them, mine is black with silver zebra stripes covering the front of the bottle, the bottle looks al right but it's nothing spectacular.
It had a lid which covers the spray nozzle of this which I like although I don't really see the point of it?

        Price & Availability:
This costs £1.70 at Boots at the moment which is where I purchased mine from, however as always prices range from different shops and the thing with body spray is that it's always on sale somewhere just shop around. Another good thing about any product in the Charlie range is that I literally see them everywhere- most super markets and drug stores.

        Product Itself:
On the back of the can it describes the smell as mandarin, cherry and white musk, when I first smell this the mandarin is quite strong but then within seconds the white musk catches up with it, however, I can't detect any cherry smell at all which is good as cherries always tend to smell really artificial when added to a spray.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I would recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
This hemp balm comes in a very sturdy and well made tin, the tin itself has nothing on it and is just plain silver but the lid (which screws on and off) has a light green and brown scheme to it which looks really organic and expensive. The tin is quite big as you get 40g of product.

        Price & Availability:
I received this balm as a gift and therefore don't know how much it costs, I did find it on Amazon however and it cost £3 and then a few pounds postage. I couldn't find this on the Body Shop website which leads me to believe it was maybe limited edition?

        Product Itself:
At first I didn't like this product because I found it really hard to scoop any balm out of the tin, but then I realised this was because it has a hard film of balm over the top and once you break through that the consistency of this is like a Vaseline which makes it fairly easy to apply, I find that it does a very good job because it stays where I put it and it's the best product I own at moisturising.
One thing I don't like about this is that it smells musky but its not a big problem.

        Disadvantages

        Works on the occasional blemish

I've taken several trips to the doctors about my acne, I've been on pills for it and although they helped when my course was over the spots came back, the next step was taking steroids which I wasn't prepared to do, so my doctor gave me a tube of this (therefore I'm not sure if you can buy it or you need a prescription).

After washing my face before I go to bed I apply a little bit of this product to each of my 'angry' spots (the ones that hurt to touch) it stays tacky for a while but then when I wake up in the morning I can see that the acnegel has hardened overnight and has cracked a little bit, like a face mask would.

Once I wash this off (it has bleached my flannels plenty of times) my spots look the same as they did before I used this product, however with repeated use I find it does help to clear up my spots.

One of my main qualms with this product is that it doesn't just dry out your spot, it dries out the skin around it too so you have to weigh up if you'd rather have spots or really dry skin.

Overall, I don't know what to think of this acnegel because it works after several applications and leaves my skin terribly dry.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        I wouldn't recommend this to a friend

        Packaging:
The foundation powder comes in a plastic tub and connected to that is a brush that has a protective plastic cover that slides up and down. The packaging isn't too bad as it doesn't look cheap, however the main problem is a design flaw in the brush- after shaking it around so that it dispenses some powder I saw that only a tiny bit was there which just wouldn't cover my face.

        Colour Range:
This comes in two colours just Light/ Medium and Medium/ Dark, so for someone like me who's pale the light/ medium was a bit too orangey for me and just all in all didn't match my skin very well. Due to the small colour range, I would imagine that it wouldn't suit quite a few people.

        Price & Availability:
This retails for £5 which I think is an OK price for a mineral foundation (as long as it works, which this doesn't) so I went for it. I bought this is Superdrug but have seen it in Boots too.

        Product Itself:
The 'foundation' covers nothing for me, I thought this was due to the little amount I was working with however when I screwed off the brush part and applied to foundation with one of my own brushes it still did nothing for my skin.
The brush they provide is very scratchy and makes my face itchy and it smells slightly like horse manure which I really didn't understand!

        Packaging:
This brush comes in a plastic box which keeps the brush clean when it's in the shop, I don't really like plastic boxes because I find them a pain to open and I'd rather see something like thin cardboard used because it's better for the environment and easier to open.

        Price & Availability:
This brush can be found at Boots and Superdrug as well as being widely available online, it costs on the £10 mark give or take a couple of pounds depending on where you purchase it from, although the price isn't crazy it still is more that I'd like to pay for just the one brush, but I got this with a voucher so I didn't mind using that to pay for it.

        Product Itself:
I like this brush because the handle tapers in at the middle which makes it easier to hold and the base of the brush is flat so that it stands up and therefore, doesn't have to be held in a jar which can be annoying. The bristles of this brush are very soft and don't prickle my skin at all.
To use this brush I apply foundation to my face then pat it around with this and it give my foundation a really flawless look!

        Packaging:
The packaging it really nice, it looks as though a lot of time and effort has been put in as the picture on the can looks like a piece of artwork, the colours are also really nice and fresh which I thought would reflect a fresh scent...

        Price & Availability:
As far as I'm aware the city collection was a limited range (which is a good thing from where I'm standing ha!) which means it's hard to get hold of, however you can still find it on Amazon for £2.60 if you did really want it although I think this is too much money.

        Product Itself:
Although it may be down to personal preference, I really do NOT enjoy the smell of this spray, it's too overpowering even just smelling it in the can. Also, I've made quite a few people smell this spray and no body liked it (out of the 4/5 people I asked) so that tells me maybe it's not personal preference but it's just not very nice.
This is the first Impulse spray I've ever brought and I don't think I'll be buying another!!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I like it more than Vaseline

        Packaging:
The packaging of this balm is the main reason that I bought this product- it's really cute and looks a lot more expensive than being Superdrug own brand, it looks a lot prettier than my Vaseline tin does and it's very nice to carry around in my handbag.
I prefer tins to lip balms when I'm out and about because tins take a lot more effort to open which means it won't make a mess of my bag, however, that being said sometimes tins are quite hard to open but it's not much of a problem for me.

        Price & Availability:
This is only available at Superdrug and costs £1.39 for a 20g tin which is excellent value, and a slight bit cheaper than a tin of Vaseline even though they contain the same amount of product.

        Product Itself:
This balm is clean and doesn't smell of anything, however I don't mind this because it feels more pure than one with lots of added smells and colours. In my eyes, it works exactly the same as Vaseline does because it leaves my lips moisturised without feeling greasy which is exactly what I wanted it to do.

Overall, I prefer this to Vaseline because it's cheaper, prettier and works just as well!!
