      Excellent

This is the celebrity version of the hit reality TV show Big Brother, love it or hate it you can't deny it's been a massive success for over 10 years. The celebrity series doesn't differ too much from regular series but it usual runs in January for just 3 weeks or so, and recently a summer version has aired after the main version. It locks up 10 to about 14 celebrities in a house for a few weeks and films them 24/7 with their ups & downs, chats, arguments, they do tasks for food and the public vote to evict them after which the winner wins money for their chosen charity but all the celebrities get paid for going into the house unlike the normal civilian version (they get an allowance I believe) I like seeing the real person behind the celebrity persona and it real is gripping television, seeing celebrities be themselves is a nice touch and some of them you find out actually are real genuine people, but then some of them you realise are absolute morons. I look forward to it every year and I am sat watching it now

      Great

I bought this whilst I was working away in Greece after trying the Lynx Rise Bodyspray and liked it. They say "there is nothing quite like the Lynx effect" and that is quite true with this one, one of many in the Lynx bodyspray and shower gel family. Lynx, also known as Axe outside of the UK, has been around for 30 years so it makes me feel confident that's its a decent & also safe product to use, it's also part of the Unilever group which owns many other famous brands like Dove, Hellmans, Lux, PG Tips, Ben & Jerrys... I like it being part of a big group as it gives me confidence in the product. I got this after buying the Lynx Rise Bodyspray and it gives the same zesty fresh feeling, to make you awake and alert for the day ahead, it's smooth on the body and feels you feel really clean and ready for anything the day may throw at you. Would highly recommend to feel sexy and fresh for a day or night out.

The scent of this shower gel is a mix of citrus scents and it makes you feel refreshed as soon as you apply it to yourself in the shower leaves you feeling refreshed and remarkably clean. Highly recommend

        Great all rounder very recommended

I bought this whilst I was working away in Greece and I was first attracted to the bottle design, its very sexy looking and looks good quality. They say "there is nothing quite like the Lynx effect" and that is quite true with this one, one of many in the Lynx bodyspray and shower gel family. I like it being part of a big group as it gives me confidence in the product. The Lynx brand is catered & marketed towards the younger male and I can see why with this one, the bottle is design is sexy & stylish. It combines the hints of chocolate and whipped cream to create an irresistible fragrance, this makes it seem a bit kinky too in a way. Would highly recommend to feel sexy and fresh for a day or night out.

        Wouldn't buy it myself

I bought this when I didn't have time to go to Boots & get FCUK and this was the only one from Lynx in this convenience store. They say "there is nothing quite like the Lynx effect" and maybe that is true with this one as it's been around since 1995 and is most popular Lynx scents in the UK but I can't say it's my favourite to be honest. The Lynx brand is catered & marketed towards the younger male and I can see why with it's newer scents but this one is catered in my opinion to older men, I know my dad likes this one although he likes some of the more modern ones too. I believe this once was his favourite though.

I bought this when I was working abroad as I can never get FCUK bodyspray abroad. I have used different Linx sprays before (and will write reviews soon) and this was one I really like. The Lynx brand is catered & marketed towards the younger male and I can see why. This Lynx Rise is a real modern fresh fragrance, has a zesty lime scent, really makes you wake up and feel alert & fresh for the day ahead. Comes in the usual black Lynx bottle but this has a rather funky modern design on the front unlike some of the older Lynx scents.

        Nice overall fragrance

I got this given as a gift a while ago, not really used it much but its not because I don't like it, I just have other favourites. CKIN2U is a masculine refreshing fragrance, a great one to wear on a night out or through the evening as it's On trend and distinctive. The scent goes well with the CK brand which is a modern, stylish and cool brand to be seen with, everyone has heard of the brand Calvin Klein and it's hip, modern take on the brand CK. They do underwear, sleepwear & Tshirts too. With CKIN2U being from one of the leading fashion brands you know your going to get a high quality with their fragrances and this one is no exception. The bottle is very modern and stylish, attracting the attention of younger men who want to pose a fashion sense with its white glass effect, would look great on any guys desk or bed side table.

Only way to get into a beautiful island by plane

Corfu Airport is a very small airport on the island of Corfu, one of the beautiful Greek islands. The airport is the only airport on the island so unless you travel by boat, you have no option but to use it and it's not the most passenger friendly airport in the world. On arrival your plane parks away from the terminal building at what's called a "remote stand" basically meaning you get bused to/from the terminal and your plane. When they drop you off a small ramp you walk up and are greeted by a very small passport control check, think it had 2 or 3 little cabins and your passports are checked by local police. This was a very quick process only 2 UK flights were on the ground at the time and they processed us rather quickly. Baggage reclaim is a very small area with 2 large baggage belts, luckily only 2 flights had landed so it was rather a quick process but if more than 2 flights land at the same time it is hectic and can take upto an hour to get your bags. Then you get to arrivals a small area with lots of holiday company reps & peoples family/friends and taxi drivers waiting to collect people, there are a few desks with holiday & transport companies and a desk to get a taxi from. You'll also find a small gift shop which also sells cigs and domestic flights checkin (flights to other Greek airports) hid behind these checkin desks is a small café to get sandwichs, pastries & drinks. Buses stop outside but hardly ever taking you into Cofru town (capital of Corfu) where buses leave to the rest of the island. Over in departures (at the other end of the very small building) you have a very small checkin area with just 16 checkin desks, 4 luggage xray machines where you got to take your own baggage after checking in and passport control. The queues are extreme when it's busy, the airport has 16 desks but they back onto each other so you can't queue up properly as you then have a large queue for passport control going down the middle of checkin where you'll find just 2 (when they work) metal detectors and tensa barriers managing the queue. It's normal to queue up outside before getting into checkin but they do this to manage the amount of people inside, it's a nightmare but I can see why they have to do it. But the airport is clean as the cleaners mop the floor at checkin every 10 minutes or so, you can't go anywhere without seeing a mop or brush with a cleaner attached. Inside the departure lounge is a lot but not enough seats for the amount of passengers, a small duty free shop and a café. The airport does have a restaurant but it's upstairs above checkin BEFORE going through passport control, usual high airport prices but it has a great view of the airport apron & runway.

        My favourite highly recommended

One day I was out shopping and smelt the Paco Rabanne 1 Million for Men and liked it but the shop (a popular high street retailer) was charging a ridiculous amount and I was unsure how much I liked it compared to my older favourite, Paco Rabanne Black XS. I found it a few weeks later during a flight I was on with work and got some, I am now hooked and it's now my favourite fragrance and has been for a couple of years. The smell is a modern sexy smell, mixed of Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Mint and Blood Mandarin and spice, it gives a spicy smell but not anything over powering. Its a great one to wear on a night out with friends or family, if your out on the pull then this is sure to grab attention regardless of which gender you want to attract, its one of the most popular ones on the market at the moment and I can smell why. I however do end up wearing it daytimes aswell for work as I really like it. It comes in a very rich, deluxe golden bottle which makes it feel like its a high quality item with a rich smell, makes any man's bedside table or desk look smart.

        Advantages

Smells fresh and modern, recommended for daytime or night use

I am a fan of FCUK bodysprays and shower gels, I have been a fan of them for many years more expensive than the leading brand but they are better smelling and I was given the FCUK Him Eau de Toilette as a Christmas gift from someone who knew I liked the FCUK range. The FCUK Him Eau de Toilette is a mix of sexy, provocative and dynamic with a manly but not over the top smell. It's a fresh, oriental type smell to it if that makes sense, feels fresh is in the air when your smelling it (or when a potential or current lover may smell you). I would class is as an everyday fragrance but also nice to complement a nice outfit on a night out around town or club. The bottle is rather large, 100ml in fact, but this is great for travelling too as 100ml is the maximum a bottle can be for carriage in hand luggage when your flying somewhere by plane, the bottle is plain and rounded which gives it a nice modern feel with a clear glass middle to see the inside... makes it easier to see when it's about to run out and needs re-purchasing. Doesn't require a massive amount to be applied each time though, a few squirts should do it. I would highly recommend this product to teens & men aged 20 - 35 years but maybe not for an older guy

I will most probably use this hotel again but won't be paying an early checkin charge

Tune Hotels are a foreign budget hotel chain from Asia, their basis is its a quality room without frills and for a fraction of the cost. I have stayed in their hotel in Liverpool Street once before a few years ago and found it good, the room had no windows, which I choose to stay in as a room with a window was more expensive and I wasn't in there much, just to sleep so felt it'd not matter, I'd also stayed in a window-less room in the easyHotel before and didn't mind. Anyway, so I booked this hotel knowing what to expect, but this time booked a room with window as they were on offer (cheaper than a window-less room). I arrived after being up since 0530 at the hotel at approx 1315 but checkin was at 1500, I asked if they mind me checking in as I was dying for a shower but they refused and said "no checkin is 3pm room isn't available" I said "I know but if a room is available would that be ok" and to which the lady replied "no I can change you £10 if you want to" well clearly this is where I got the "Ryanair of the hotel industry" phrase from but the similarities thankfully finish there. And if a room wasn't available then why was she asking me to pay £10 for one? The lady asked her manager and he refused, even though their Liverpool Street hotel allowed me to checkin early as has many of the hotels competitors. I left my bag, at a charge of £2 in left luggage at the hotel and went off to shop. When I eventually checked in another lady was on reception who was polite and checked me in very quickly, had no problems there. The reception area was very clean and bright, with red & white colours it looks very modern and chic stylish. It was very clean & tidy with black leather chairs & a table, it also had a stand with various leaflets which tourists would find very helpful with whats what in the city and what attractions to see. Their was also a vending machine and coffee machine (behind reception). The room was on the ground floor so didn't need the lifts but they are right in reception and simple to use if you need them, I was a bit cautious about a ground floor room but it was out the way, not on the main road and was very quiet. The room was, as is the case with budget hotels, basic but perfect for me. The bed was a large double bed, extremely comfortable and their was enough covers to keep me warm (I left the heating on too long though so didn't need them). Their is a flatscreen TV but you pay for the useage but at £3 for a 24hr pass its not exactly going to break the bank so its very reasonable, wifi is also at a charge of £3 which again is very useful, the wifi was fast and that was even on my iPad not a laptop so very good. The hotel was very easy to get to, with it being just a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station its easy to get trains and the tube, with access to all the major tourist parts of London or more importantly to me on this trip... to the shopping districts like Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Soho. I would recommend this hotel but don't pay the con of early checkin charge, checkout is also by 1000 but if you really want you can pay to checkout late. The hotel is very clean and modern, beds are very comfy but could maybe do with thicker pillows. Overall for the £29 that I paid for a night in a modern comfortable city centre hotel I am rather impressed.

A great laptop for easy use and quality sound/video/image

I got this after my other one was doing my head in and then I dropped it and chipped it it worked but looked horrid so got this one. I have had HP items before and find they are very reliable and this laptop is deffinately like that. It's not crashing but has done a few times when I have had tons of windows open but that's my fault trying to do 100 things at once. The system isn't as reliable all the time when I am running on the battery the mouse keeps sticking sometimes, was going to take it back but it stopped doing it but now out of warranty its at it again sometimes but no biggy as I tend to have it plugged in most of the time and its not too annoying. Battery life is good, lasts about 3 hours unless your watching videos or listening to music or skyping can decrease battery life faster. Was very easy to install, it gave you a step-by-step guide on screen and told you what to press and what to do, I can usually setup laptops anyway, but this was so straight forward to setup even if I couldn't I would of found this very easy. You just turn it on and follow the on-screen instructions, came with all the necessary items including CDRom installation disc and power adapter. The laptop is red and looks very stylish and modern, with a red lid and red inside, the keys and plastic surrounds being black make it look rather delightful to the eye. Only problem is finger prints show up too easily on it. But that's not too much of an issue, can always be cleaned. I have Windows 7 on it and was a bit reluctant to use Windows 7 as I was used to the previous system but its so easy to use and looks great, you can easily change things like colours and backgrounds like before to suit you, it's just as easy to navigate around just looks more modern & stylish and more up-to-date. The built-in webcam is rather bad compared to others I have had/seen but as I don't use it too often i'm not overly bothered, would be nice for a better camera but people complain they can't see me very well (maybe that's a good thing) and it's blurry at times. Sound & Video quality is very good, music goes loud enough not club style loud but for a normal person listening to music at home its very good, goes quite loud actually. Would go loud enough for a normal house party or you can always connect it to your speakers or surround sound for higher sound. The clarity of sound I find is very good, I use it a lot to listen to music, watch videos and catch up on TV. The video quality is very good aswell, very clear bright picture. Overall I find this laptop very good and would recommend it, its very easy to use, looks modern & stylish and has a lot of memory for my needs, its processing is very good but don't overload it with a LOT of windows I have 1 internet explorer, 7 pages on safari, my documents folder, real player, real player downloader and iTunes open and it's working fine for me now. Highly recommend this laptop but not for the webcam.

A great easy to use reliable portable hard drive

Having put off backing up my laptop for so long due to never getting chance, my laptop was stolen from a popular budget UK-wide hotel chain in Coventry and almost everything was gone. Luckilly lots of photos were saved elsewhere and music was on my phone and could transfer it over to a new one but some photos, videos, documents had gone. Clearly I was gutted but I learnt my lesson and so spent the money this portable hard drive from WD which is very stylish and sleek in Silver/Grey. It's the first external hard drive I've had and since buying it a few years ago I have never looked back, its very good and easy to use, plug it in and drag files over to the folder for the hard drive is the way I do it, simple and quick to do. It does come with instructions and the USB cable, it also comes with the bits & bobs needed to do a full back up etc but I just drag the files over as its simpler and quicker in my opinion. The item is small and very lightweight so its easy to carry, it fits perfectly into a nice small case (think of maybe a digital camera size case kind of) and then slots nicely into my laptop case. Cases are very cheap for these, I got a memory foam one off eBay for somet like £2 and it has kept it snug and safe for years. 500GB is a lot of space but I now need another one soon so will be getting another, probably stick with 500GB unless a great deal comes up on 1TB but I found 500GB model was very good for me.

          A great small tablet/e-reader

The Kindle Fire is a mini tablet computer version of Amazon.com's Kindle e-book reader. My dad got my mum one for Christmas and I had to have a little play with it having looked at them in the shops. The Kindle Fire's external dimensions are 7.5×4.7×0.45 inch (190×120×11 mm),.[10] The visible area of the screen is 6×3.5 inches (150×89 mm). This size is perfect for most people it's easy to fit it into your hand and still large enough to read your books, magazines & newspapers easilly. I like how you can also get magazines & newspapers on it not just books. It's compact enough to fit into your bag or the for example glove compartment of a car. It's also very lightweight weighing just 413g so easy to hold & carry around for anyone. The screen is bright and clear, very easy to read, even my mum can read it clearly and she doesn't have great eyesight, My mum won't mind me saying she isn't technology literate, but once she was shown how to use it she can manage it, so its very easy to use. It's all touch screen and it works very well in my opinion, with buttons easy to touch and work well. With simple navigation to make it easy to move around the different parts of the system whether that be playing games, reading books or checking emails. I now have my mum sending emails, something she'd never be able to do before now. The Kindle runs on the Android platform which is one of the two biggest operating systems for tablet PCs. On the Android market you can buy tens of thousands of books, music, games & other apps for your Kindle most fairly priced and a lot of them even free. Battery life seems to be fine for my mum, charged fully it'll last quite a while to read your books, if you play music or videos it'll eat the battery quicker but still fairly decent battery life. The Kindle Fire has only an 8GB memory which is why I went for an iPad instead (plus I have a love for Apple) so 8GB for me wasn't enough as I don't really want it just for books/magazines/newspapers but for my mum it is the perfect size. Although 8GB isn't much for videos or lots of music, it can fit around 8000 books on as text books are about 1MB each (1024MB equals 1GB) and many of them are a lot smaller than even that. So perfect for book readers who also want a few photos and music files and also be able to browse the web/apps and do emails. I would strongly recommend a Kindle Fire for the price you pay they can provide much better value for you if you fit the bill above than getting an iPad or Samsung Galaxy tablet.

A great suitcase that's tough and easy to maneuver

I got this in Black and 68 litres version years ago in Debenham's it was half price at about £80 and was an excellent purchase, although the most I've spent on a suitcase it has been well worth it. I work abroad every summer so needn't a large sturdy case to take extra bits & bobs with me and the larger version was great for me. You can fit so much in, with ample space inside the main case and a zipped compartment under the lid part to add toiletries or smaller items. There is also an outside pocket on the front this is actually very large and opens up quite wide which was nice as it's big enough to fit actually things in rather than small nick nacks, came in very hand for me. It's lightweight too which was very important for me as I had lots I wanted to take as I was away for about 6 months and it also mean't if I used it on other trips I'd find it easier not being charged for excess baggage. The case has 4 wheels which I absolutely love, it makes it so much easier to maneuver especially when I was carrying another case and a hand baggage case too. The 4-wheels made it a lot easier for me, I could pull it on two wheels or push/pull using the 4-wheels. It's very strong too, I still have it now and it's in perfect condition, I didn't use it this Summer as I keep over packing it as it's that big you can just keep filling it, I used it to store things in now and I got the smaller version of this (medium sized one) to use instead and to go with it :D Highly recommend this case to anyone travelling and it's on offer in most stores now aswell.
