We did not have a vaccum in our house hold for a very long while due to the fact we live in a very small bedsit and storage space is an issue. Due to having wooden flooring we would use a broom and pan to clear up the dirt.
We saw this compact Vacuum and decided to purchase it.
This device needs no bags and the cylinder is easy to snap on and off. Once sucked into the cylinder the dust stays put and when removed does not blow every where. Once off you can then place it directly into your bin with little or no dust blowing else where.
You can then put it back on and start hoovering again.
The unit is very small and fit in the corner of a room very easily without taking up much space.
The plug lead goes back into the hoover at the touch of a botton like most vacuums on the market.
The main hoover part also clips on and off the vacuum therefore helping towards making the vacuum compact for storage.
The Vacuum is also very light weight therefore making it easy to carry whilst hoovering making hard to reach places more managable and those stairs even easier to access.
I am unsure how far the lead reaches as I only have a small place so dont have to pull the lead out to far. The main tube is long enough for all my hoovering access.
The Vacuum takes up most items on the floor and even works well on my wooden flooring leaving no noticable particles on the floor.
It is even on wheel so it can roll round corners and the floor without picking it up each time to move.
The cylinder has an okay compacity but can fill up very quickly if you have to hoover up a mess.
For a small place this is not a problem and due to being easy to remove and clear it does not cause much of a hassle.
The Vacuum is not very loud and due to living in a flat this can be a bonus. I would not recommend using it of a late evening but I am sure this goes for a lot of Vacuums.
Over all this is an easy to use piece of equipment which is good if you live in a small area like my self or have a lot of stairs to hoover and fed up of dragging a heavy items up the stairs after you.
I come home to find this TV in replacement for my older much smaller one.
So there it is , My partner has gone out and brought the TV he has been wanting for weeks. With out my knowledge.
Around £1000 pounds later we have a new TV.
To begin I was trying to find some thing to bad mouth this TV for, for the pure fact it had been brought behind my back !
So what did I discover !
The first and only feature - This TV was too big. After a time I have become used to this fact that most people actually buy this device for. I have now come to love this TV with it very clear picture quality and clear sound.
Another feature of this TV which I discovered whilst trying to find a fault for him to return it was it has built in FREEVIEW. It also has ambiant lights to the rear that light up with the colour of the picture on screen. Of an evening this is a brilliant feature and you actually feel like you are at the cinema.
To begin I hated this product for the pure fact of how he brought it behind my back. Now I cannot fault it and would not give it up for any thing.
If you like the cinema and quality, this product is for you. It can be put on the stand provided or can be put on a wall with a TV stand you will have to purchase your self. It is a flat screen that takes up hardly any room and would fit neatly against the wall.
I got all excited about this product , all the ideas I had. I was going to make the best smoothies and cocktails. I even brought a book of cocktails and smoothies which was going to be my bible
So how often have I used my smoothie maker since the first time. I would at a guess say only around 5 times. I have had this device for around 1 year which I brought in the summer of 2006 when I had all my great ideas.
To begin this product was exciting I brought all the stuff I was going to put in it. Which I might add was a lot of fruit.
I placed all the stuff in the maker , (Once it had taken me a while to work out which bit went where) A ton of fruit later and I had the perfect mix. I got my glass and placed it under the tap. Pulled the tape up and filled the glass to the brim. It tasted lovely.
I then realised I had made far to much so forced my partner to have a glass too which he loved. By this time I still had lots of mix left and no where to put it.
We drunk the rest even though we wished we could save it some where with out the mix going off due to the amount of fruit and money that had gone into the batch.
Now it was time to clean the machine. What a task. You have to dismantle the machine bit by bit and the only way to remove the excess mix is to leave the product in a warm basin of water and return to it at a later time to clean the device with soap.
Now its time to store the machine but where to put it ? It sits in my already small kitchen taking up lots of room and now gathering dust as me and my partner cannot master the energy to make a batch of smoothie.
The smoothie is really nice and easy to make with maybe a little more noise than required.
The fault of this machine is the cleaning and storage. Is all this worth it for a few glasses of over priced smoothie.
I think this machine will continue to gather dust and I will go to the shops and buy an already made smoothie.
I gained this items as a gift after much begging to my partner even though he told me what would happen (it would be left to gather dust).
Overall if you are addicted to smoothies and dont mind a bit of hard cleaning and have a very large kitchen this product is for you.
Myself , I think I will stick to Costa ! Let them do all the hard work ! LOL.
I started running on a regular basis and decided I needed some form of music to keep me going on my aim to run 10 miles.
Whilst at the gym a few months ago I saw a male with a funky looking device clipped to his shirt and head phones running from the device.
I decided, that was the one for me and went on a misson to find what this device was.
I logged on to the internet and within seconds there is was IPOD SHUFFLE. Perfect size to clip to me whilst running. I purchased it there and then on the official Apple website. I decided to go with Apple at there on line shop (which is easy to find). At the shop they allow you to pick your own personal message which they engrave to the rear for free. At the time Apple's price was not much different to the other retailers. On checking the website this minute the Shuffle costs £49.00 inc VAT. It now comes in other exciting colours much like the Nano.
The device is 4.1cm (1.62 inches) long and about 15 grams (half an ounce) in weight.
At the time of my purchase the price was a bit high considering what the device actually does. On getting the device I was really excited I down loaded the device with the full amount possible which they state holds around 240 songs. If I can remember correctly I was able to load very close to this amount.
To date I have not changed the songs on the device. The reason for this is I am not bored of the song yet and have not got around to re loaded more songs. To download the songs you need to load the usual Itune software as for all there other products. This then allows you to download your own CD/music on to this software and then transfer on to the Shuffle . The Shuffle come with a docc which is connected to your PC/Laptop via a USB lead. You plug the Ipod on to this dock to transfer the music.
The Shuffle is also charged via this dock so you have to plug it in to the dock connected to your PC/Laptop each time you need to charge the device. An orange light flashes whilst charging and once charged i believe the light turns Green. This usually takes a few hours if the battery is running low. The PC/Laptop needs to be switched on to charge.
I have had no problems with this device since obtaining around 6mths ago. It keeps charged for what seems like an age. (12 hours stated on product info) I go running around 3 times a week for 50 minutes a time and on average charge the device once a week or every other week. To date it has not run out on me during a run. I have always been able to charge it before this time.
It clips easily to my wear and I forget its there as it does not weigh me down as other players can. The clip is to the rear as you can see from the picture. It feels secure whilst in situ and has never fallen off during my excercise.
The head phones provided with this device can slip off easily whilst I run so I went out and brought a more stay put pair. This may only be the case for me and my ears but I thought it was worth a mention. Most headphone fit with this device and the ones I brought were not costly at around £6.00.
It does not have any extras what you see is what you get. It is very easy to use. The problem can be that you have to search through the tunes one by one. Due to there being around 240 songs on the device it can take a long while to get to the song you want. You cannot pick the tune you want from a list due to it not having a digital display.
It is easy to use but very basic. The sound is clear but can lack some depth at times.
The device can Play, Pause, Shuffle forward and back and volume up and down as seen from the picture to the front. You can tell the product is on as a light flashes as per charging. There is an on off switch to the side. As you can see very simple.
For running this device is great but if you want a device to use for sitting I would suggest a cheaper more funtional device.
The Tassimo is a easy to use system which sits comfortably in any kitchen area. The system can be easily be turned off by a switch to the rear saving the need to unplug the device each time after use and therefore saving that all important electric bill.
Once on this system takes all of a few seconds to heat up the water needed. The lights to the right hand side as you look at it light up whilst heating once heated the lights advise you of this fact.
To begin the heating system a Tassimo disk needs to be placed in the system. This is placed to the top. Once inserted the barcode reader in each system reads the barcode placed on each individual disc and produces that drink. If the water to the rear runs out during making a drink the lights to the side all light up and the machine comes to a hault until the reservour is refilled. Therefore not wasting a disc or having to restart the process.
The disc to this product can be costly, If you registar with Tassimo they send you offers and money off coupons on a regular basis which saves you the odd 50p.
I tend to buy my discs from Tesco which always has offers on these disc. You can also purchase them on line from Tassimo directly.
It is easy to clean with a seperate plastic disc which is provided in the pack which clears the machine inside out from the machine reading the barcode on the cleaning disc.
Since purchasing this product over a year ago it is still running strong and still in use by all member of my family household. This is due to the easy cleaning and use of the device unlike other more complicated coffee makers which have to be taken apart to clean.
The machine is quite a large amount to pay out in the first instance but well worth the amount.
It is not an all singing and dancing machine with all the extra but for a quick and easy hot drink with little effort it is well worth it.
