I have just recently booked my summer holiday and decided I need to look my best as I had put on a little weight. In a bid for a health kick my diet has started but I also wanted to tone up so decided to buy a few small exercise gadgets that I could use at home in my spare time. After searching amazon for hours I decided to buy the pineapple pilates exercise ball. I was instantly drawn to it as I have read a lot of great things about pilates and also loved the colour of the ball. It was cheap which was a bonus as I didn't want to spend a fortune on equipment incase I didnt enjoy using it. I paid £12.99 for the pilates ball and it was delivered for free. What you get for your money is fantastic the ball arrives with a pump to inflate the ball, the ball is a good size of 65 cm inflated and feels very sturdy to use. Its made of a flexible rubber type material. The ball is a baby pink colour and has a black pineapple logo on it. It also comes with a instructional dvd on how to use the ball, I have only watched the dvd once as I found it helpful but also a little basic. Its good for beginners but after a while I looked on you tube or other exercise uses for my ball. I found the ball easy to inflate within a matter of minutes, some people may not have room to store the ball but it store it in my cupboard when im not using it. I only use my ball for 15 mins a day and having only owned the ball for a short period of time I already feel a difference to my core I look a lot more toned and will continue to use the ball in the future. It did not cost a lot of money and I am really happy to recommend the ball to others.
While out shopping for a new hand moisturiser I spotted Nivea Soft, I have never tried Nivea products before but knowing my gran and mum both use Nivea and have for many years I decided to give it a try. Another reason I was swayed into buying Nivea Soft was it can be used on hands, face and body. I thought this was brilliant as It would cut down on how many lotions and potions I need to use as part of my daily beauty routine. I purchased the Nivea Soft from superdrug and for the small 75 ml tube it cost me £2.49. It can be bought in all good supermarkets and chemists. I will be purchasing a larger tub of the Nivea soft next time I need to buy it as I found it did not last long. The packaging has changed ever so slightly compared to the dooyoo picture, its still in the white tube with Nivea logo on the front in blue but it has to light green swirls on it now. On the back of the tube gives you information on how to use and ingredients in the product. The tube has a cap that you need to pop open and close to seal. The cap is quite tough to open but seals well which stops any the cream being wasted. The Nivea Soft cream is white in colour and quite thick in consistency, it is absorbed very quick into the skin. I always apply it after I come out the shower when my skins clean. My feelings of the product as a face cream- as a face cream I find it works well as a night face cream as its feels quite thick and heavy on my face but love using it on my face after a long day at work. It leaves my face very soft and smooth and I think it improves my skin texture to be more even. My feelings as a hand cream- As a hand cream I think it absorbs well into the skin and leaves no greasy residue, It works well on cracked skin well and hydrates my hands making them feel very soft and and less tight when they are cracked. My feelings as a body moisturiser- I have only used it on my legs before a night out to keep them soft and moistures. It worked a treat on my legs but took a lot of effort to rub the cream into my legs but that might be because I like to apply it quite thickly. I only bought the 75ml tube and to be honest I mainly use it on my hand and face because its such a small tube and it would not last long if I used it on my body often. I am sure you can buy it in larger pots and I will be buying one soon as its now my new favourite moisturiser. The moisturiser contains vitamin e and jojoba oil which are found in most skin care products as they help to moisturise and soften skin leaving it silky smooth and looking good. Overall I found this to be a excellent product and was very happy with the results on my skin and I also like how It can be used not only as a hand cream but on my face and body as well. It cuts down on how many products I need to use and store in my small bathroom. I now know why my gran and mum have been using Nivea products for years, its very gentle and kind to skin and leaves my skin glowing and hydrated.
I have been looking for some new make up as I am bored wearing the same eye shadows everyday, I like to experiment with different looks, I had a limited budget as I am saving to buy a new car so I turned to Amazon for some bargain make up as amazon never lets me down. I managed to buy a Loreal Bare Naturale eye shadow for under £3.00 including postage. I found this to be a lot cheaper than any high street shop that sells cosmetics. The Bare Naturale range has been designed to be gentle to skin as it is a mineral based eye shadow, they also sell mineral blushers and concealers. The eye shadow comes in a small unique pot, the pot has a clear screw off lid and then a cover over the eye shadow which has a application brush attached to it, after taking off the cover there is a filter over the eye shadow which at time you have to shake to access the loose eye shadow Loreal have kept this range in simple pale natural colours, from gentle earthy browns to pale rose colours I am sure there will be a shade to suit everyone. I chose the Bare Nude shade, it looks slightly skin toned and a very pale cream colour. I bought this colour as I just wanted a plain shade to wear during the day and to work. The Bare Nude is noticeable on my eye lids as it has a sheer shimmer to it without being overpowering, it looks very natural on and is very subtle just what I wanted. The application is very straight forward as you use the supplied brush which I feel is a good sized brush as it has ample amount of bristles on it and is quite thick, it only takes two sweeps of this eye shadow to cover my eye lids. The eye shadow can be blended with other eye shadows or can be built up for a more colourful shadow. It is a loose eye shadow so I do recommend covering your cheeks with a translucent powder so none of the eye shadow transfers onto your cheeks, the translucent powder can then be sweeped away when the eye shadow has been applied. I love the shimmer that it creates on my eyes, it makes my eyes look brighter after a long day as it has reflective pigments. I found it easy to apply and fuss free make up as you do not need to be a make up artist to apply it. I love the unique packaging of the eye shadow and think having the brush supplied was a nice touch. I will be buying more of the loreal eye shadows soon as I love them, they were very light to wear and were gentle on the skin. As it is a loose eye shadow it can be messy if you do not secure the lid on correctly this is not a negative just a little advice.
I usually shop at asda most weeks for my food shopping and I try to resist going upstairs to look at the clothing as I always find something I like to buy. This time I needed new leggings as my old leggings were starting to bobble and loose their shape. I managed to find leggings I liked, they were plain black and full lengthened just what I need for winter. They only cost £7.00! Most leggings I have bought cost a lot more so I was a bit sceptical to try them but I did and will be heading back to asda for more. I bought the black leggings and they were very black in colour, they feel like good quality as they were quite thick material and the material felt smooth and soft to touch. They have a elasticated waist band on them for extra comfort. The seams on the leggings are barely noticeable and the leggings have Lycra in them which makes them suitable for any body shape. I found the leggings wash well on a cold temperature in the wash, they reshape well after a wash and look like new. I have had mine for a few months now and they have not faded or started to bobble at all. They feel very comfy to wear and are perfect to wear with my jumper dresses and boots, to me they are a every day essential for my wardrobe and are just as good quality leggings as others I have paid more money for from new-look and jane norman. I have since bought a few more pairs from asda as I was very impressed with the leggings.
A few weeks ago my earphones for my ipod broke, they were crackling and the cable had split. I decided to buy a new set of earphones as I can not live without my ipod and use it on a daily basis while commuting to work. As I have been spending all my spare cash on christmas presents I decided to buy a cheap pair of earphones and I will upgrade them after christmas. I looked in argos but could not decide which ones to choose from as there were so many to choose from. My younger brother recommended Skull Candy earphones as he has them for his ipod and said he thinks they are good quality and cheap to buy. I took his advice and bought a pair from amazon for £7.99. I bought the Skull candy INK'D earbuds, they are from the INK'D range which has been designed to be affordable to buy and have a custom design on them and have good sound quality. I bought the pink earbuds as my ipod is pink, the earbuds have a matalic pink finish to them. The earbuds also have a small black skull on them which is quite funky. The cables are black and so is the silicone gel buds. I really like my new earphones as they came with replacement earbuds which I think is a nice added bonus, they are made of silicone and are tough but flexible and mould to the shape of my ear when worn. This makes them very comfortable to wear over long periods of time, I barely notice they are in my ears as they are quite lightweight to wear. They are compatible with my ipod and also my mobile phone which means I have more than just one use for them. They look very stylish and more expensive looking than they were. The thing that impressed me the most about the earphones was the sound quality. The are very clear and does not cloud the sound of my music at all, the earphones block out any external noise meaning I can listen to my music without being distracted which comes in handy while on the train to work. I would recommend these to anyone who does not want to pay a fortune and think they would be a cool stocking filler at christmas.
I needed a cute bag for a up and coming wedding, all my other bags were to small and I couldn't fit everything I needed in them and my husband was not coming to the wedding due to work commitments( he usually stuffs his pockets with my bits and bobs). I decided to treat myself to a new bag at the last minute. I headed off for some high street retail therapy, I found the perfect bag from Newlook and it cost me £12.99. I think it is suitable for weddings or nights out as it looks very cute and It was reasonably priced too. The bag I bought was in black but they had them also in red, pink and green. I bought the black bag as i felt it would go with any outfit and i would get more use out of the black colour. The bag has lots of small perfectly made roses attached to it, the roses cover the whole bag and has been very well made as there as no gaps between the roses of any lining fabric shown. The roses are made from a silk like material and have a layered look to them and have very neat stitching on them. The bag has a small chain strap which can be removed if you want to use the bag as a clutch but I have not tried it like that yet. The strap is incredibly thin and barely noticeable but feels strong and secure. The bag has a metal framed structure which closes the bag and makes the bag feel sturdy, it has a balled clasp to close and open and I find it easy to open and close. The bag really adds a bit of glam and sophistication to any outfit, the roses make the bag extremely feminine and cute. I have had lots of compliments about my bag and like to use it for special occasions. The bag holds all my essentials such as my mobile phone, purse, perfume and make up. Its the perfect size for me. It looks delicate but I find it to be a sturdy well made bag. I am very pleased with the price of the bag and the overall look of the bag and am happy to recommend it to others.
While updating my make up collection after having a huge clear out of old grubby make up I decided to replace some of the items that were essential to my make up bag. I discovered that my old bronzer has now been discontinued and I panicked as it was the only bronzer I had ever tried before. I was recommended by a friend to try the Bourjois Bronzer so I took her advice and have never looked back. I purchased the bronzer from superdrug from the bourjois display stand and it cost me £8.00 which is quite reasonable for a bronzer. I have tried a few bourjois products before mainly lip glosses and have been impressed with them so I was happy to try the bronzer. The packaging for the bronzer is fantastic and has been very well made and thought out. It comes in a glossy cardboard book shaped box, the bronzer opens like a book and has a small built in magnetic strip built in and holds the lid closed. This stops and the dust from the bronzing powder escaping and causing a mess in my make up bag or handbag. The bronzer sits neatly in the bottom of the book and has been designed to look like a bar of chocolate, it looks very brown like chocolate and has markings to make it look like a squares of chocolate, I can see slight gold flakes through the bronzer but it looks very subtle. The bronzer does not come with a applicator brush but this does not bother me as I always use my own brushed as I find the brushes supplied are usually too small and useless. I use my blusher brush to apply the bronzer to my face, I usually sweep it across my cheeks and cheek bones, down my nose, across my chin and along my forehead. It can also be used along the collar boned and chest to add some definition. It creates a youthful and healthy glow and if lightly applied can be very natural looking, it creates a beautiful sun kissed glow. I like to apply it slightly heavy if im going on a night out and find it still doesn't look to dark. The gold flakes through the bronzer are not visible on my skin but think they add a slight shimmer and help to reflect light. It was easy to use and even better mess free to store, it was very well priced compared to some high street brands. I feel its a fantastic quality bronzer and has never crumbled into a mess with me and I have owned it for 6 months and have lots left and I do use it on a daily basis. I love the cool packaging and find it very practical to. I highly recommend this bronzer and will be buying this one again.
I have a huge passion for make up and usually buy a new make up product every week weather I purposely go to boots to buy make up or while at the supermarket doing my food shopping. I get lots of make up tips from youtube and like watching the tutorial videos as they always tell me how to create the look and what products they are using. The last youtube make up tutorial video I watched was on how to apply a liquid eye liner, I ended up buying the eye liner the girl suggested. The eye liner was a black liquid eye liner by Sleek. Sleek is a new brand that I had not heard of before and can be purchased from larger Superdrug shops or the Sleek website. It cost me £3.79 from superdrug and I feel its a fraction of the price of other make up brands and good value for money. The eye liner comes in a small pot with a long thin lid, the lid has the eye liner applicator attached to it making it mess free to store. The pot is black in colour and has the Sleek logo on it in hot pink writing, it looks cute and holds 4 mls of the black liquid eye liner. Anyone who has ever attempted to apply a liquid eye liner will know how difficult it is to master the technique. You need a good steady hand and a mirror, I also find cotton wool buds and make up remover handy in case I make any mistakes. With the sleek eye liner I found the applicator brush had a fine nib on the end and found this allowed more control when applying it. It took me a good few attempt before I got the hang of applying the liquid eye liner, I like to apply it at my dressing table with the mirror in front of me. I close the eye I am wanting to apply the eye liner to and then dip it into the eye liner pot making sure I do not over load the applicator with eye liner and apply it just above my eye lash line, starting in the inner corner of my eye and working my way to the outer eye and finish with a slight flick. I find it difficult to apply in one motion so I take my time and do line by line to create the look I want. The eye liner felt cold and wet when applying it to my eye but take only a few seconds to dry, I try not to blink or move my eyes as it can be smudged very easily when wet. The applicator lid felt very long and difficult to hold at first but have got used to it over time and I am now a pro at applying it. The pigment of the black eye liner is fantastic it is jet black and creates a dramatic look, the staying power is fantastic and I find it lasts a good 10 hours before needing reapplied but I only ever use it when I am going on a night out. Although its not waterproof it did not budge in heavy rain but would not recommend wearing it to a wedding if you are the tearful kind. Sleek offer the eye liner in 9 different colours from metallics to purple shades, I cant wait to buy a metallic one to try. I was delighted with the results from the eye liner and impressed with the Sleek brand for making such a high quality product at a affordable price and feel it deserves a place in my make up bag!
I recently treated myself to a new purse as my old purse looked grubby and the zip kept on sticking usually as I was at a check out about to pay for something. I am a big fan of Pauls Boutique, its a fairly new brand and make amazing unique handbags and clothing. I was browsing the Pauls Boutique website to see if I could find a new purse and there was so much choice. I settle on the "pipi" purse and it cost me £19.00 and was promptly delivered 3 days later, each bag and purse has a unique name and I bought it purely for the size of the purse. You can also buy pauls boutique items from Bank Fashion, Selfridges, Topshop and from House of Fraser. The purse is small and has a wallet section and a coin section, I chose the patent black purse as I like to change my bags around often and needed a purse that would match all my bags and the glossy black pipi purse is perfect. The purse is 11 cm wide by 8.5 cm tall, on the front of the purse it is slightly folded over and has a gold square mounted on the centre of the purse, on the gold square it has "pauls boutique london" engraved on it. The folded over front section opens with a popper clasp and this opens to access the wallet are where I store my bank cards it has 5 spaces for cards and also has a clear window in the purse where I store my daughter picture. The interior of the purse is finished in a metallic gold and looks very trendy. The coin section is found on the back of the purse and has a twist clasp opening, its easy to open the twist clasp as my first impressions were that I would be quite fiddly but I managed without any problems, the coin section does not hold a lot of coins, I over filled my purse with coins and the clasp wouldn't close. Its not a big problem as I prefer to carry my cards to pay for things as I find it a lot safer. I love how well made the purse is, there is a lot of detail in the purse and even the fancy interior of the purse, its very shiny and glossy looking. It looks very trendy and is small enough to fit into my clutch bags for nights out. Its very versatile and is great for day or night use and its easy to keep clean, my old purse was filthy and I had only owned it 6 months as it got covered with make up that was lying in my handbag but my new purse can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and it comes up like new. It has ample card space for me and holds enough coins for me and like the fact is smaller than my old purse as it means less weight in my handbag. I love pauls boutique and will be buying the pipi purse in the patent purple next. Its well worth the price for a designer purse.
I have been suffering with tooth ache for over a week now, I had been taking paracetamol to try to relieve the pain but found it took a long time to kick in and ease the pain and did not last for long. I had no sleep the other night with the pain and trying to get a appointment at my dental surgery is a night mare even for a emergency appointment. I decided to go to the chemist to see what pain relief I could buy over the counter, the pharmacist recommend Nurofen Express Liquid Capsules. I paid £3.50 for a pack of 10! I think it was a ridiculous price to pay for 10 capsules considering I can buy 16 paracetamol for 30p. I bought them as I need some relief of the agonising tooth ache I had. They can be bought at supermarkets and petrol stations for around the same price. Nurofen Express Liquid Capsules claim to target pain fast due to the unique capsule which dissolves faster than normal capsules and enters your blood stream quicker to relieve pain. Nurofens active ingredient is Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is a anti-inflammatory medication and can be used for many pain complaints such as tooth ache, migraines, period pains, rheumatic, muscular and back pain, and helps to reduce colds and flu's. The capsules come in a silver box, It has Nurofen logo in red text and has a picture of a target and bullet on it. The packaging has changed from the above dooyoo picture. It has text claiming to target pain fast and pictures of the capsules on it. I bought the 200mg box but they can be bought in higher dose but as I have never tried them I choose the 200mg box to be on the safe side. The capsules are contained in a blister strip with silver foil covering them with the nurofen logo printed on the foil. The capsules are easy to press out of the blister strip, the capsules are round and look like a "jelly belly" sweetie, they are bright red in colour with white text on them stating Nurofen. They are slightly transparent and you can see the liquid medication moving about the capsule. They were quite fiddly to hold as they were so smooth and small I dropped it several times before dispensing it into a medicine spoon to take. It was very easy to swallow the capsule and has no horrid after taste at all from the capsule it was virtually had no taste. I took the capsules with a glass of water but only needed a few sips and the capsule was gone. The capsule glided down my throat and never got stuck once which is a benefit as I hate taking any form of pills as they usually always get stuck I can say within 15 minutes the capsule started to work, the throbbing from my nerve in my broken tooth started to subside and after another 10 minutes I felt no pain at all. I could manage to eat and drink without pain and the pain stayed way for a good 3 hours at a time. The capsules can only be taken once every four hours but you can take paracetamol along with the nurofen if needed. Nurofen did indeed work well but found after a day of using them I needed to take paracetamol aswell, I feel the ibuprofen helped to reduce the swelling around my tooth and calmed the tooth's nerve aswell. I have now been to the dentist and have had my tooth fixed. I have popped the nurofen in my medicine box for any future aches and pains as I do believe it relieves pain fast. There are lots of warnings with this medication so I suggest you speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking them if you have not tried them before. I will be taking one dooyoo star off mainly due to the price of the capsules and the poor quantity.
I absolutely love the "jelly belly" sweets and always buy them loose so I can pick the flavours I like best, I was out shopping at the weekend and while browsing in poundland I noticed the Jelly belly lip balm, it was the first time I had ever seen the lip balm and was delighted to pop it in my basket. I bought the bubblegum flavour as its my favourite jelly belly sweetie. As I said I bought it from poundland and believe it or not it only cost a £1.00. I have now noticed that amazon is selling them for £2.00 Its well worth the money I paid but poundland usually has limited stock and you may find it difficult to buy from your local shop. The lip balm comes in a small plastic tub which is transparent and you can see the lip balm colour through it, in the bubblegum flavour it looks pale pink. It has a screw off lid which is also made from plastic and is a pale pink shade, the lid has a sticker on it with the "jelly belly" logo on it and a scroll with the words "bubblegum" and a few different coloured jelly belly sweets. The tub contains 8g of lip balm. On the reverse of the tub is another sticker with product information, it has to be discarded after 12 months of being opened and its actually made by baylis & harding. The lid unscrews without much effort and for such a small tub its easy to grip, there is a foil cover over the inner tub which I just removed and binned but it was to keep the lip balm fresh. The lip balm is a pale transparent pink colour and looked quite like jelly but I found it felt similar to apply like Vaseline and had a petrolium jelly texture to it. It made my lips feel soft and smooth, I often have cracked lips with the cold weather but found it improved my cracked lips with only a few applications of the lip balm. The main positive about the lip balm is the scent of the lip balm, I bought the bubblegum flavour and it smelt like bubble gum, it smelt sweet and sugary. Although the lip balm looked a slight pink tinge in the tub I found it made no difference to my lip colour. My lips looked and felt very hydrated and healthy and will be continuing to use this lip balm thought the winter. My only negative comment is the sticker on the lid looks quite cheap and tacky, it looks like its almost printed of a home computer. Jelly belly being such a huge company I expected a more quality sticker. I only paid a £1.00 so I have a bit of a cheek complaining about it.
My daughters pet hamster died a few months ago and she was extremely upset, we gave it a proper burial in our back garden and explained it was away to heaven now. This made her feel much better and soon was asking for another hamster, I did not want her to get another hamster as it was me who was left to take care of it and clean the cage. I was at my local pet shop stocking up on treats for my dogs when I noticed the Dora's Pirate Adventure fish tank. It had been reduced to £16.00 from £30.00. I decided to buy it along with two gold fish. Dora is a well known cartoon from the Nick Jr channel, the fish tank starter kit came in a pale purple box with a picture of dora and the fish tank on it, it also came with instructions on how to set the tank up. The tank is made from plastic and is transparent, the lid is bright purple and also made from plastic and has a clear viewing window that opens to feed your fish. The tank has a pirate theme background that shows a pirate boat and a island and show boots and a crab. The background is very colourful and sets a nice scene with our gold fish swimming around, the lid is easy enough to open. The set came the tank stones that were very small and just enough to cover the bottom of the tank, they were mainly white with the odd green stone. I just wished they would have been more generous with the stones as I have now replaced them with more stones so the tank looked better. The set also came with a dora figure to sit among the stones, dora is dressed in a pirate costume and has boots the monkey standing next to her, the figure also has sea weed behind dora and looks to be standing on sand. Its really cute and feels like good quality as its quite heavy and brightly coloured and adds the finishing touches to the tank. The set also had two plastic plants supplied, these were very flimsy and ugly so I replaced them with different plants. The tank came with a 120 v water filter which is blue in colour and I put this to the back of the tank, it feel the tank is suitable for no more than two gold fishes as its quite small. It can only be used for cold water fish thats why I chose gold fish. The tank holds 15 L of water and the filter is not noisy. My daughter loved her fish tank and has it in her bedroom on her desk, she loved the dora pirate them and has been helping cleaning the tank when its needed cleaned. Our gold fish are looking healthy enough in the tank and think they seem happy enough. I was well worth the price I paid and I think its good value for money compared to so starter tanks..
When pregnant I was given lots of baby hand downs for my son from my sister as she had not long had her son. I was ever so grateful as It can be so expensive buying everything so anything I got I was pleased to own. The item I am reviewing is the bugaboo cup holder. The bugaboo cup holder can be bought from mother care or Cohn lewis for £14.95. I have also seen them on ebay selling for under £5.00 so its worth looking around for a fair price to pay. As it was second hand I can not comment on packaging as it did not come with any. My bugaboo cup holder is black in colour and made from strong plastic. It has a nice smooth finish to it with no sharp edges. It is shaped like a large mug with a slot cut out of the front of it. It comes with several attachments to it so it should fit most push chairs. I found it easy to attach to my sons push chair with the correct attachment, it clips on easy to the buggy and feels secure when on even with a bottle of water or juice in the holder. I found it very handy and has become a essential for me when out and about with my son. It save having to rake around my bag to find my sons juice cup or my water bottle, It saves putting it in the bottom of the buggy net and having to bend down for it. It slips in easy to the holder and is also easy to remove. It holds my latte from costa well and make my life a litte easier when out and about with two children and one in the buggy. I give it a wipe with a damp cloth when I find it looks grubby and it comes up nice and clean. I do not think I would pay full price for the cup holder as its only made from plastic.
I recently bought a new vw golf as my old golf gave up and had to be sent to scrappy heaven, My new car has only had one previous owner and only 15,000 miles on the clock. The car was valeted before I picked it up from the garage but I could smell cigarette smoke in the car after a few days, the fabreeze the garage used must have worn off. Being a non smoker I don't like the smell and headed to halfords to buy a air freshener for the car. Halford had a huge choice of air fresheners but I knew I wanted the Jelly Belly air freshener as soon as I seen it. I paid £3.50 for it but since bought another one from Amazon for much cheaper £2.50, and Amazon offered free postage. Www.amazon.co.uk The air freshener came in a card board packaging with a plastic covering that preserved the air fresheners scent. The packaging came with instructions and had small jelly belly sweeties on the packaging. It was easy to open the packaging and I recycled the packaging in my blue bin. I bought the very cherry air freshener but there is a huge choice of scents to choose from and I am positive there is one for everyone's taste. I chose the cherry because its one of my favourite sweets from jelly belly. The air freshener is made from a plastic silicon like material and come with a attached hook so you can hang it from your car mirror or air vents. The air freshener looks like a flattened jelly bean shape and has the jelly belly logo on it in white writing, the air freshener is bright red in colour. The scent is very cherry and smells like sweet cherry's! The scent smelt quite over powering for the first week but I either got used to the strong smell or it settled down. I often get head aches from the magic tree air fresheners as I find them so strong smelling but the jelly belly did not give me a head ache. The air freshener lasted me 3 months before I found I couldn't smell it as much and I then replaced it with another jelly belly air freshener It masked the smoke smell in the car but after a few good deep cleans I think I managed to get rid of the smoke from the cars interior. It looked funky for a air freshener and I had lots of compliments from friends on the air freshener everybody liked the smell of it. I will be buying more in the near future when my latests one needs replaced, I found them cheaper on amazon so I will be buying it from them, I have nothing negative to report on the jelly belly air freshener.
I was happy to discover that dooyoo accepted my product suggestion so I will be reviewing Montagne jeunesse Amor Rose ultra deep cleansing masque. I spotted this face mask for sale in superdrug and have tried a few of their face masks before and wanted to pamper myself so I bought the Amor Rose face mask for £1.00 which is a bargain in my opinion. As I said I bought it from superdrug but it can be bought from any good chemist or supermarket for around the same price, the montagne jeunesse website is fantastic and has a huge range of skin care products and giftsets and offer free postage on a £7.00 order. The face mask comes in a sachet that I needed scissors to open, it has a picture of a woman with the face mask on and roses on her eyes. There is lots of product information and instructions on how to use the face mask on the back of the sachet. The face mask comes in a 17g sachet and I found it was enough to last me two applications as it was quite a generous sachet. It was very straight forward to use, I went for a long soak in my bath tub with lots of bubbles and candles lit (this is my optional choice but its my way to unwind after a hard days work). The sachet instructs you to cleanse before you use the mask, I just used my foam cleansing wash and rinsed it off. I was then instructed to apply the face mask avoiding the eye areas and then waited 15 to 20 mins before washing the face mask off with warm water and drying my face. It has a thick but easy to spread consistency and was a very slight pink shade, it felt like a like clay and very cold when I first applied it to my face but it soon warmed to my skin temperature and felt very soothing on my skin. The mask starts to dry and the mask becomes tight on your face and can barely move a muscle let alone crack a smile with the mask on (now I know what botox feels like). I could feel the ingredients working into my skin and had a slight tingling feeling which felt quit pleasant, the aroma from the face mask was amazing it was very relaxing smelling the sweet rose smell and felt like I was having a aromatherapy facial without the expensive price tag. I have quite sensitive skin and had no bad reaction to the face mask at all it has lots of skin friendly ingredients in the mask such as shea butter and cocco butter that help moisturise skin it also has marula oil which helps to deep cleanse the skin. My skin was glowing and looked very fresh after using the mask and felt hydrated and moisturised. It felt soft and very clean, I had enough left for a second application a few days later which I was pleased about as I love the face mask. I will be buying this face mask again as I had excellent results with it and it did not cost a fortune compared to some face mask. The aroma was divine and I had many benefits from using the product.
