I might be a little pre-menstrual, so bear with me, but...is it just me, or is the standard of spelling and grammar on this site getting worse? I'm now used to seeing typos in reviews, and I'm certain I have some in my reviews, as I don't use Word (v. impressed with those who are that organised though); now I see basic mistakes in review titles! Perhaps the pendulum has swung too far - now I see errant, extra apostrophes EVERYWHERE (there used to be a time I couldn't find an apostrophe for love nor money). Please, peeps. Plural 's' endings do not require an apostrophe before them. Otherwise we get thi's. These sort's of thing's are very very annoying.
I hate reading reviews which have titles with mistakes in them. I'm far far far less likely to read and rate reviews which show a basic lack of care and attention.

Just been inspired to try and write a review on 'Neighbours' - not the Aussie soap, but the people who live near you - but I can't find a category! My lovely neighbour (older gentleman), who's always been friendly, buzzed my door this morning, to tell me that my overflow pipe was pouring out water. Now, I don't know what that really means, so he offered to come in and have a look - and sure enough, he had a look inside the cistern of the loo and fixed the problem! How kind, and lovely to live near such a nice neighbour! Happy thoughts for the day.

Decided that a few details would be nice, since I like reading other people's profiles... okay, I'm nosy.
I've been inspired to write longer and more detailed reviews since reading other peoples' reviews on here, and I hope I'm improving! Happy to take constructive feedback - I am enjoying making my reviews more informative having read other great reviews. Still fingers crossed for one good enough to be crowned.
Me: I'm training to be an Egyptologist (hence the Miss Marple pic), and I live in London. I'll read your reviews if you read mine (time permitting!)I don't revenge rate, and I try to return all ratings - if I miss you, it's because I'm dozy, so send me a nudge, and I'll get on to it.
