I started to buy this product after my friend recommended it. The 300ml tub comes in Sanctuary's original colours: orange and white and opens by twisting the lid. I buy this butter from boots or directly from the supplier's website at £9.18 a pot, but very often there are various offers available like 3 for2 or similar. This is a cream coloured, smooth, buttery texture product with a sensational smell. It contains nourishing cocoa butter and creamy shea butter, also almond oil, macadamia nut oil and vitamin E.
When massaged onto the skin the product realises a gorgeous smell that stays with me for a good few hours. It absorbs rapidly, without leaving a greasy film on the skin, leaving it well-nourished and very soft. Used after a bath and shower it is a great way of pampering in the evening and also a wake up in the morning. Gentle enough that is suitable for pregnant women. This item also comes in a smaller, travel size. This is without a doubt one of my favourites products. I highly recommend it to anybody, it is money well spent.
The Sanctuary Bath Relaxer was given to me as a gift after giving birth to my daughter. As I became a new mum I was desperate for a little bit of pampering in the comfort of my own home. I love The Sanctuary Spa product especially for the gorgeous smell and the quality that makes you feel like a million dollars.
The 250 ml bottle comes at £5.10, however very often there are a variety offers available such as 3 for 2 from Boots or directly from the supplier's website. This orange, rather thick liquid comes in a clear plastic bottle with a handy open-close click top that makes easy to pour just the right amount you require. Pour the product directly under the hot water and the bathroom smells sensational. This item contains jojoba oil, almond oil and evening primrose oils.
The down side for me is that the oily texture does not create any bubbles and also leaves the bath rather slippery. The product leaves the skin soft and delicately fragranced, however not for long.
I probably would not buy it myself, but would use it again when given as a gift.
I started to buy this product ages ago after trying a little sample received from my friend. I fell in love with this shampoo after the first use. A rather small 250ml bottle comes at £4. This shampoo contains a real banana puree. There is no fancy package, just a 100% recycle bottle with a green sticker that says exactly what it is: "Banana Shampoo".
Using it doesn't create a great amount of bubbles, so for my long hair I use a rather generous amount. The sweet banana smell is sensational, makes you want to eat it! The thick, honey colour liquid gently cleanses the hair, leaving it shiny, very soft and smelling gorgeous.
The Body Shop stopped this production some time ago, but soon realised it was a big mistake and this banana classic quickly returned back to the shop. I absolutely love this product. I buy it regularly and stock it up when on offer. Just a shame that there is no a hair conditioner from the banana range.
This body butter is definitely my good old favourite. It has been on my Christmas list for ages and never disappoints. A 200ml tub used daily last for about a month and a half. I remember when I started to buy this product at £10, but these days it costs £12.50, so quite pricey, but still well worth the money. I often buy it on offer 3 for 2 or similar. I got very excited when I recently found out that THE BODY SHOP is opening in Swindon outlet near where I live, so the products might be up to 70% off!
Anyway all The Body Shop butters are great. The butter provides 24h hydration. My skin feels noticeably smoother and softer, and even better when used with the scrub, however the scrub at similar price I usually go for a cheaper option of scrub. The product has got a buttery texture. I have dry skin I don't find it greasy at all. It has got a delicious nutty smell, makes you want to eat it! If you have got a set annual budget it is best to use it in winter. In the winter I even use it on my face, and it had never irritated my skin, however all skin types are different, so please try a small 'patch test' first. In the summer when very hot sometimes I found myself "melting". Still love the product. I have tried several cheaper options and never found anything as good as The Body Shop one.
I got this product as a gift and immediately thought: "another one of those that you use it once and put away for ages". I must say I could not be more wrong. After first use I treat this product as an essential and it is left on the cupboard together with my kettle and the toaster. It comes in polish stainless steel with a black, plastic handle. Designed to easily fit two sandwiches. The top plate is adjustable. The "toast" function allows you to cook crispy Panini's and "melt" option for those delicious open sandwiches. Thanks to adjustable height control the product takes just about any size of bread, with as many fillings as you want, even those extra fat baguettes .Both plates are non-stick, which makes it very easy to clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Two lights on the top indicate when the power is on (red) and the plates are ready (green). It comes with a handy lock clip on the side for an easy upright storage. The Panini press comes at a reasonable price of around £35 and in my opinion it is definitely worth the money.
I often treat my visitors to delicious toasties just to their taste, as you can experiment with almost endless combinations. This item is excellent for those evenings when you simply have no time to cook a dinner from scratch. The stylish and elegant look of this product makes it a perfect addiction to my kitchen.
I purchased this Russell Hobbs kettle to match my toaster. I am a big fan of this brand. I have bought this item over three years ago and have not experience any problems at all. This stainless steel kettle has got 1'7l water capacity, 3kW rapid boil, it is design with 360 degree base for right and left-handed use. The item illuminates blue when on stand by , red when the boil switch is on. The filter is removable and dishwashers safe. I would say that this product is very easy to use, however some of my visitors said that it is "tricky" to open, when you want to fill it up with water. To do so you have to press a large button on the lid rather promptly. The only down side, like with all stainless steel appliances is that in order to keep it looking good I polish the kettle regularly. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
I got this Morphy Richards 4 slice toaster as a gift. I know it has been purchased at half price (around £35) form argos, because a few days later I returned it back to the shop. It is a "box" design with two slots, looking quite smart. The toaster comes with a removable warming rack, defrost function, extra deep slot, reheat and cancel, also quite handy high lift for smaller items like crumpets. It does the job no better than any other toaster. However, it comes in chrome silver, which I found impossible to clean. There are always visible stains and water marks. Even when new I dusted it with a slightly dump cloth and the item was left with several water smudges. It also takes more space than any other toaster similar design. After four days of using one of the slots was not popping up. I had to lift the handle up to remove the toast. This product is a disappointment to me. I am glad I've returned the item back to the shop.
I purchased this iron after my husband has ruined two previous ones. I use the iron on daily basis and after two years is still in great condition. This item does the job of a high quality product whitout breaking the bank. I am especially happy with this one, because it does not leave white marks on the clothes, which I found with both previous ones. Design with a "steam glide" makes the ironing very easy and smooth. It comes with extra long cord, which I find really useful. It also got anti- calc system and drip- stop system. It fits nicely in my hand. It is great even on tough creases. The iron shuts itself off when left unattended. I bought this product half price in argos at about £35, but quite happily I would pay a full price for it. I cannot fault it. I definitely would recommend it to everyone.
I purchased this product when my baby was moving form milk to solid food. I quickly realised I cannot live without it. Not only it is excellent for baby food, but also for home-made dips, sauces and soups. The blender is very powerful, quickly blends into a smooth paste. I have never tried any others, but triblades definitely does the job for me. The blender comes with a small foot and a big foot. I use the smaller size for small pots and the big one directly to the saucepan. I found that the plastic foot can stain after blending carrots, however if I put a little bit of oil on the attachment it washes easily. I bought my blender a couple of years ago and so far I had no problems at all. It is light, very quick and easy to use. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone.
After years of using a traditional rotating dial kitchen scale I decided that it is time for an update, so I purchased this stainless steel disc electronic scale by salter. I am very impressed with this product. It comes with 15 year guarantee and does exactly what says on the box. Slim design with a digital display measure solids and liquids. There is no need to use several bowls to weigh different ingredients. Simply measure one product, reset the scale to zero, then add another one, then repeat the process. Weights in grams, oz, ml and fl.oz. Holds up to 5000g.Easy to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth. Press "on-zero-off" button to turn it on, again to reset to zero and press and hold to turn it off. "Unit" button to change the unit: grams to ml..etc. I am very pleased with this product. There is no way I ever go back to the previous one!
I got this Russell Hobbs four slice toaster as a gift. Slim and long design fits nicely in the kitchen. This toaster holds up to four slices of bread in two rows; however with only one bread carriage handle means that even if you want one or two slices of bread, both rows are in use. Sliding browning control- slide to your preference: from light to dark. Design with four option buttons - eject, handy bagel, simply slice the bagel in a half and put the two halfs with out side towards the outside element, reheat and defrost function. Crumbs are collected in the crumb tray in the base of the toaster, to clean simply slide towards you and wipe clean with a damp cloth. After pressing each function the red light will appear.
Overall I am quite happy with the item, probably would not buy it myself. The down side is that in order to keep it looking nice I need to polish it regularly , because finger prints are highly visible.
I got my dualit coffee machine for Christmas last year. My is silver, however it also comes in polish chrome and cream. The product makes variety of coffees: Americano, espresso, latte, cappuccino, macchiato etc. The recipes are included at the back of the manual. Water tank can hold up to 1,5l. The machine provides steam and hot water almost instantly. Milk- frother makes gorgeous foam .15 BAR pressure pump. On the top there is a space for warming up the cups. The coffee machine takes either loose ground coffee that you scoop with a measuring spoon (provided) or ready ESE pods. The product is very easy to use, however takes a little bit of time and there is also some cleaning involve, so I usually have my coffee on the weekends. I am very happy with this product,I would recommend it to all coffee lovers. My comes from John Lewis, surprisingly their price was the cheapest. This coffee machine is good value for money.
I recently purchased this camera to use while on a family vacation. Having a price in mind, we were shopping for a suitable product that is more than just a compact camera, but not a professional either. Fujifilm have a good 26x zoom that can clearly capture details from the far distance. Scene recognition and face recognition makes the pictures very detailed, not blurry. It allows to create stunning panoramic pictures, by joining three photos together. A built in microphone allows you to shoot short sound movies at 30 frames per second. The camera is very easy to use, even easier with auto mode. The camera fits nicely in hands, not too big, however I found it a little heavy when put 4xAA batteries in. It comes with a handy neck strap and protective lens cap also USB-A/V cable and CD-ROM, batteries are included. I got my from argos Christmas catalogue at discounted price of £149, I believe the offer ends after Christmas 2011, also got a half price case, when purchased with the camera. I am very happy with this product; it is a good family and everyday use camera. I do recommend it to anybody, who wants that little bit extra.
I was looking for a good hair straightener for a long time, my old one - Remington wet 2 straight was giving up after a few years of almost daily use. I decided to go for Remington shine therapy, because I believe this is the best quality without breaking the bank. I was very happy with the previous one and this one is also not a disappointment. Light green, slim design fits nicely in my hand. Useful lock on the side, twist to lock or unlock. On top there is a digital display with on-off switch, two +/- adjustable temperature controls, which varies from 150C to 230C. By pressing the + button the temperature goes gradually from 150C to whatever you want till reaches 230C, if pressed and hold the temperature will jump to 230C.I must say it takes a bit longer to heat up than any others I've tried, but definitely worth the wait, because leaves hair silky smooth, even after a couple of days, this could be because ceramic plates are infused with shine enhacing conditioners. My long hair defiantly feels softer and super smooth. The straightener is very easy to use, however sometimes I manage to press the digital buttons, when I hold the product in my hand. I DO recommend it to anybody. I got my in argos half price for £37.49, I believe the offer ends in spring catalogue 2012.
