Ipsos is a research company which conducts many various types of research for companies in the form of online surveys, telephone questionnaires, focus groups...
I have been a member with Ipsos for some time now and am really impressed with the level of service and rewards that are available. For every successfully completed survey, you get awarded with points on your account. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can then request to redeem a reward, which is usually sent to you in the form of a voucher. Ypou may choose between many various stores, such as Argos, Amazon, and many more.
Registration is very quick and easy, and once registered, it is also advisable to fill in all your personal hobbies and information, so that you may get invited to as many surveys as possible. You can build up your points on this site quite quickly.
Every now and again, Ipsos also run prize draws, which enables you the chance to win additional points addedto your account. Once a year, they also run an annual prize draw. Last year, an individual won a car woth £18000 in the annual prize draw.
I can recommend this site to anyone who has spare time on their hands and patient enough to complete surveys.
Ecasher is a cashback site which enables users to earn cash back when shopping online and clicking through to the merchant from their site once signed up as a member.
I have renently just signed up as a member and must say that I have been very impressed so far with the service that I have been given.
This site also offers many "daily clicks", which allows users to earn money by clicking through specific websites. The amount of money you can earn from "daily clicks" is not too much, but it all adds up at the end of the day. A common saying states, "if you can't appreciate the pennies, you won't get the pounds".
The great thing about this site is that there is no admin fee, unlike many other sites that charge you a set annual membership feee, fee. Every amount which you earn is awarded directly to your Ecasher account. The reason why this is one of my favourite cashback sites is because there is no real minimum threshold in regards to the amount of funds you need in your account before you can request a withdrawal. Even if you have 1p in your account, you can still request a withdrawal via paypal. However, if you wish to receive a cheque payment, there is a minimum threshold of £10.00.
The site is really easy to use and I have had no problems as yet. They also offer a referal scheme whereby you can get an extra 0.50p for each member who signs up using your unique referral link and performs atleast one approved casback transaction on Ecasher.
I can recommend this site is definitely worth a visit if you have any spare time on your hands.
The Lightspeed Panel is a site whereby you get rewarded in the form of money (paypal), vouchers or prizes for completing surveys.
Every available survey is usually e-mailed to you. After successful completion of a survey, you get rewarded in the form of points on your account. Points can vary usually from 50 to 200 points per survey, also depending on the length of the survey. Each suvey usually takes an average of 10 - 15 minutes to successfully complete. You can redeem various prizes on their site in accordance with the amount of points which you have earned. Personally, I prefer to receive the paypal option, as I can then have the freedom to spend my money wherever I wish. 115 points is equivalent to £1 for paypal. The prizes range from Audio & Video, Entertainment, Gift Cards, Jewllery, Paper vouchers, Tools, Travel Items, and much more.
They also hold a prize draw where by completing their mini polls which are available on their site, you will receive 5 entries and stand a chance to win their £2000 prize draw.
An advantage which I find is that surveys can be quite frequent at times, which is great as you can build up your points quicker.
Registration is very easy and quick, and there site is very user-friendly.
I first joined Myvoice a few months ago. Myvoice is a site whereby you get rewarded in the form of vouchers for completing surveys / questionnaires.
Every available survey is usually e-mailed to you. However, it also advisable to occasionally look at your account, as sometimes there are surveys available that are not e-mailed across to you. After successful completion of a survey, you get rewarded in the form of points on your account. Points can vary usually from 5 to 250. Each suvey usually takes an average of 10 - 15 minutes to successfully complete. Once you have reached the minimum redemption threshold of 2000 points, you may then request to redeem your money, which will be in the form of a voucher. 2000 points is equivalent to £20. There are many various stores in which you may request a voucher for, ie: Arcadia, Argos, Asda, BHS, Boots, B7Q, Days Out, Debenhams, Dixons, Gamestation, Gap, HMV, Homebase, House of Fraser, John Lewis, M&S, Waitrose, and many more. Your voucher is usually sent to you in the post, which can take about 4 weeks for arrival.
There is also a refer a friend scheme whereby you can get an easy 25 extra points for every successful referal.
The only downside I can think of is that it can take a while to reach the 2000 point threshold and usually takes me a few months.
Registration is very easy and quick, and there site is very user-friendly.
I recommend this site to anyone who has a bit of free time and patient enough to complete surveys.
I first joined Valued Opinions about a year ago. Valued Opinions is a site whereby you get rewarded in the form of vouchers for completing surveys.
Every available survey is e-mailed to you. After successful comletion of the survey, you get rewarded in the form of money on your account. Amounts can vary usually from £0.50 to £4.00. Each suvey usually takes an average of 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Once you have reached the minimum redemption threshold of £10.00, you may then request to redeem your money, which will be in the form of vouchers. There are many various stores in which you may request a voucher for, ie: Arcadia, Amazon, Boots, HMV, John Lewis, Tesco, Argos, Marks & Soecer, and many more. Your voucher is usually sent to you in the post, which can take a maximum of 4 weeks for arrival.
Valued Opinions also has a prize draw, whereby for every survey that you enter, but are unable to complete because you did not meet the qualifications or because we reached the required number of entries, and for every Hot Topic survey that you respond to, you will receive one entry into our quarterly prize draw for £250.
Registration is very easy and quick, and there site is very user-friendly.
Once you have registered, it is advisable to then complete the Hot Topic questions in order to get invited to more surveys.
Globaltestmarket is a site which rewards you by giving your opinion on certain products, services, films, etc.
I first joined this site about a year ago and ever since, have redeemed quite a bit of money. Every survey which you complete, you get rewarded for either in the form of points, or with entries into the prize draws. Each survey completed usually gets you around 15 - 65 points, depending on the length of the survey. Once you have acculated 1000 points, you can then redeem your points for money, which will be sent to you in the form of a cheque. 1000 points is equivalent to $50. However, they pay you the equivalent to this amount earned in your local currency.
I recommend this site to anyone who has a bit of spare time on their hands. It can take a while to reach the 1000 point threshold, but once done, it feels great and worth the while once you receive your cheque in the post. It usually takes about 4 - 6 weeks to receive your cheque once requested.
The site is very user-friendly and very easy to naviaget your way around. Every so often, they have a prize draw where you stand the chance of winning $5000 or less. I am yet to win on any of these prize draws!
Globaltestmarket is a site which many people do surveys on throughout the world, and their main office is based in Canada.
Registration is very easy and straight forward, and you can be a member in just a few minutes after entering in your details.
I have not yet had a problem with this site and recommend it is worth giving it a try.
I know this film is quite old (made in 1979) now but I only just recently watched it for the first time, and wow, I thought this was a great film which is worth giving my opinion about.
This film is about a man named Frank Morris (Clint Eastwood) who is sent to Alcatraz prison and decides to be the first to ever escape the prison, which is supposed to be escape-proof. Frank arrives to Alcatraz prison on a rainy night. On arrival, he is stripped down naked, put in a cell and then told "welcome to Alcatraz". When he meets up with the warden, the warden goes through his file and notices that his IQ level is superior. The warden explains to Frank that nobody has and will ever escape from the prison.
Alcatraz prison is deserted on an island, which is approximately 1 mile from any land surrounding it. The currents of the river is strong and very cold. Those that have previously broken out of the prison often ended up killed in the river or captured.
Frank, however, notices that because the prison is on an island surrounded by water, the air is moist and the walls start to get weak. He notices that it is in fact very easy to just chip away the wall piece by piece. He soon befriends other inmates and decides to share his escape plan with them, as he would need their help anyways if he wanted to break out. They agree to participate.
The movie climaxes with the escape attempt, and goes into detail as to how they did it.
I will not share this with you as it will be giving the story away and is worth the watch.
I have suffered from a sore back and very stiff shoulders for some time now, and I must say that the Homedics SBM-500H-3GB chair is a dream come true.
I firt found this product on Amazon and after reading several good reveiews about this product, I decided to purchase one for myself.
The chair costs around £130.00 but is worth every penny.
This massage chair is a 2 in 1 chair, which massages both your back (lower and upper) and your shoulders. It also comes with a remote control, so that you can choose whether you want to massage your lower back, upper back (or both), and can lower / upper the massage on your shoulders for if you are tall or short. The massage also comes with heat, which is really convenient, as this loosens the stiff muscles.
The massage works by creating a circular movement against the muscles in your back / shoulders. You may also adjust the massage so that you can have a rolling massage on your back which operates alongside your spine.
Eer since purchasing this chair, I have relieved some tension from my back and feel alot better now. Every now and again when I feel the pain come back, I have another session in the chair.
I find it a waste of money going out to the shops and buying those fancy chairs with a massager built in, which will cost you loads of money. Instead, this product does the exact same thing at only a fraction of the price, and is also easily transportable.
I recommend this chair to anyone who suffers from back ache and tense shoulders. Now I have got my own personal "massage therapist" for whenever I please.
I have been a member with shopandcsan for a few months now and find this idea really great. You can register to be a member by submitting your details through their sister sire volunteer4panels, and when a vacancy becomes available, they will let you know so that you can register.
Once registered with shopandscan, you will be sent out with a USB cable, a bar code scanner and a book entailing how to scan your shopping, along with various stores which you may hav visited.
It is very easy: You do your regular shopping, and then as you are packing it away, you scan the barcodes of the purchased itemswith the scanner which is sent out to you. You then plug the USB cable to the scanner and connect it to your computer. You vsit the shopandscan website and transmit your barcodes. It is also advisable to scan in a copy of your shopping receipt and send it to them on the same website. Once a week you will get points for doing this. For transmitting the barcodes of your purchased goods, you get 1100 points. By sending in the recipt, you accumulate another 500 points. Thats equals 1600 points per week. Once you have accumulated 10000 points, you can redeem a £10 voucher. There are many stores to choose from, ie: Argos, Amazon, Virgin, Thomas Cook, Marriott, and many more.
I find it great that I get rewraded for spending an extra 5 minutes a week scanning my barcodes and sending them in. This does not cost me a penny, but instead can get a bit time consuming.
Every 1000 points is equivalent to £1.
I recommend this website is worth a try, and you may enjoy it.
If you do not, you can always return your scanner and USB cable to shopandscan.
CD Wow is an online retailer which sells many ranges of products, such as books, DVD's, CD's, games, and many more.
CD Wow sells a wide range of products at reasoabble prices, and whnever I make a purchase, I always compare prices and occasionallt see CD Wow near the top of the list with one of the most cost-effective prices.
CD Wow currently often have great discounts and prices on DVD,s CD's, Box Sets, and many other items. Their delivery rates are also very average and depending on what you purchase, or the price you pay, they may deliver to you free of charge.
I have ordered many items in the past from CD Wow and have never had a problem with them. I find them very reliable in terms of stock and delivery, cost-efficient, and their site is really easy to navigate and browse around.
Also, once you open up an account with them online (free of charge), next time you wish to make a purchase, often your card / address details are already saved on your account so therefore you don'y have to go through the whole process again, which can make the process of purchasing a lot simpler.
Richer Sounds is a retail store which stocks a range of electrical items such as Television, DVD players, Hi Fi's, Speakers, home entertainment systems, accessories, any much more.
This store is based in many locations across the UK, and you can often find them in most central locations. There prices for their products are quite reasobale and very competitive in relation to a lot of other retail stores selling similar products.
Ilive just around the corner from a Richer Sounds branch and the other day I was walking past their store and saw a queue of people standing outside waiting to get in, as they had a huge sale on.I decided to have a look and ended up buying soemthing that was only £90 and usually sells for about £120, that was on sale. I was very pleased and it is always worth having a look as they do sometimes have sales on instore and you can pick up some quality items and affordable prices.
The staff seem to be quite friendly and helpful, and are these to assist you if you have a query. I also like the fact that at my local Richer Sounds store, they are not that pushy or persuasive in selling the product to you, but are there to mainly help you and give advice.
Have a look around next time you are around the store and maybe you will find something you want and possibly not have to spend a fortune.
I am not a regular customer of WH Smith but have been in their store a few times before. In store, they sell a range of different products, from books, to magazines, chocolates and sweets, drinks, stationery, cards and much more. You should be able t find WH Smith amongst many high street stores. They are located nationwide and there stores are usually quite big in size.
I, however, find that over the last years, WH Smith has become quite expensive and there stationery has increased quite a bit in price recently.
However, that being said, WH Smith often also have some good offers on instore and it is always worth seeing if maybe you can pick up a bargain. Sometimes you can get 2 for 1 offers and it is also worth browsing the websites to see if you can possibly get any printable vouchers, which can give you even further discounts instore on selected items.
WH Smith have been around for quite a number of years and do seem to be quite popular, especially with the individuals whom love to read and purchase books / magazines / newspapers, which I assume is their main selling item.
I aboslutely love this film and think that it is really inspiring and really funny!
A woman named Georgia Bryd (Queen Latifah) works in a retail store where her boss treats her like nobody, and she is just fed up with having to deal with her life on a day to day basis, where she gets no respect at all and works hard for a reasonable salary. Until one day she goes to the doctor and he explains to her that she only has 3 months left to live. Georgia decides to take all the money she has saved over the last few years and go on her last holiday, not having to care about a worry in the world and spend all her money to treat herself for a change.
Whilst on holiday, Georgia has a great time and goes to beauty spas, skiing, stays in a very luxurious hotel, and even arrives to the hotel in style in a helicopter! At the hotel, there are a lot of very posh people whom start becoming friendly with her and wondering what she does for a living to be able to afford all that she has been spending.
The rest of the film is also very hilarious and is very entertaining. I wont, however, tell you the remainder of the film as I do not want to spoil it for you, but I can highly recommend that this film is worth watching, and you can have a good laugh.
I bought a pack of Fusion Blades and a Razor just the other day, and so far, I must say that I have been very impressed. You may have seen the advert on the television, but in my opinion, the Gillette Fusion is the ultimate one that I have been looking for.
It glides along your skin and leaves you feeling clean, smooth and comfortable afterwards. The blade consists of 5 blades allowing a cleaner and easier shave, with less hassle.
The blade easily adapts into the razor, and the razor itself is quite lightweight. The razor itself also has a rubber handle making it easier to shave without the worry of your hand possibly slipping and cutting yourself.
When I purchased my pack, it was on special at Tesco and costed me only about £4.00. I thought that it was so cheap, I just got to give it a try, and have had no problems as yet. The pack consisted of a razor and 2 blades, which is a really good deal. The blades are inter-changeable, so you can always buy more blades when your current ones have had enough.
I recommend this razor to everyone who is fed up with their current razor and is looking for something that is efficient and reliable.
Cokezone is a loyalty scheme whereby Coca Cola reward their customers whom purchase Coca Cola with free rewards. In order to qualify for these rewards, you need to visit their site and register to become a member. Registering and membership is free and very quick. Their website is very straight-forward and user friendly, making it easy to navigate.
When you purchase a Coca Cola, whether it be 2 litre, 500 millilitres or 330 millilitres, you get points by entering in the code on their website, which is inprinted on the can / bottle.
It is a 12 digit code, and for every code you enter from a 330ml can, you get 1 point, for every 500ml bottle, you get 2 points and every 2litre bottle you get 3 points.
If you are a frequent Coca Cola consumer, you can accumulate your points very quickly. Depending on the number of points you have in your Coca Cola account depends on what reward you will be able get. Obviusly, the more points you have, the better the reward you can redeem. I recently had enough points to get a mobile phone / mp3 sock, which I ordered and it arrived by the following week. It was very good quality and speedy delivery. I have had no problems with this site before and find it very convenient that I can be rewarded for drinking something that I usually do on a daily basis anyways.
For every friend you refer to the site, you get additional points added to your account.
I recommend this site to anyone who is a frequent consumer of Coca Cola.
