I have always associated the original Opium perfume to be be a fragrance for the older woman.
I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find that this younger sister perfume to the orignal was a lot softer, more subtle but still had a very unique scent.
The bottle and packaging is gorgeous in a bright and vibrant royal blue and purple scheme The parfum bottle is very opulent in royal blue glass with a gold top with a pink rope like concoction going through the whole bottle.
Once i sprayed the parfum at first it didnt smell very strong however i could still smell the perfume after a couple of hours, in fact it stayed on all day which i have not found many perfumes do without me having to respray them.
I bought this parfum on special offer for £42 for 90ml however i think it is definatly worth the price. I would recommend this parfume for evenings out, to wear at a wedding or party.
It has a unique but very sexy scent.
I am indian and have the disadavantage of having very dark eyelids, i very rarely experiment with eyeshadow colours as i normally end up looking like i have panda eyes!
I purchased this primer for a close family wedding i was attending and have to admit i was shocked. The product comes in a pastel purple shimmery curvy bottle with a silver equally curvy lid you only need to apply a little i found that using your fingsers to take some of the applicator included made it easier to spread across the eyelids.
I then applied my eyeshadow as normal and was ready to go party. 12 hours later the majority of the rest of my makeup had come off however my eyes still had the goldeyeshadow i had applied first thing in the morning on as though i had just applied it and only came of when i used eye makeup remover.
This may not be the cheapest of products but it is definately worth the price. Urban decay have now introducted a tube version of this which is a lot better and means you can get a lot more out of the container rather than the one with applicator which can dry the product up quickly.
Definately worth using especially if you have a special function or party to attend.
I received this book as a birthday present otherwise i dont think i would have purchased it for myself to read. I started to read it as i was very curious as to what all the hype was about.
The book is primarily about a young girl Ana who falls in love with a handsome, suave yet emotionally damaged millionaire by the name of Christian Grey.
At heart i think it is supposed to be a love story, but the sexual parts of the book seem to have only been inserted to titillate and at time are very vulgar.
The plot is paperthin and it is hard to digest that a young woman would get a kick and fall in love with a man who enjoys to putting her through torture because it satisfies his sexual urges.
I managed to read the whole of this book but i dont think i would consider reading either of the sequels. All i would say is dont listen to all the hype a book needs good story and content not just vulgar sex and bondage as the main crux of the book.
I was beginning to despair as I have been using Loreal Elvive shampoo which had caused my hair to get very dry and brittle and resulting in me having to have 2-3 inches (unwillingly i must add) cut off my hair.
I went to my local Boots and decided that i was not going to be swayed by the more expensive shampoos and happened to come across the VO5 Shampoo range which was on special offer for £1.79. The bottles come in a variety of small and large sizes in a wine colour plastic looking bottle, but don't be put off by the appearance of the container.
I bought the Shampoo and Conditioner and have to say i was pleasantly surprised. After using them both once my hair was a lot soft and easier to comb and also a lot easier to dry and frizz free. I have been using the products for the last 3 months and i will definately not be changing to any other hair product anytime soon.
I would recommend these products to anyone who has dry frizz free hair as you get a lot better results than some of the more premium brands such as Loreal, John Frieda etc.
Upon first view of this lipstain it reminds me of the more expensive but not necessarily better Clinique chubbysticks lipgloss/lipstains.
Revlon have made the packaging slick in appealing colours combined with a silver ending at the base.
I picked this particular shade as i am indian in origin and as such find that certain lipglosses can look too pale or shiny on my lips and i prefer to have a more subtle look especially when wearing makeup at work.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that colour when applied to my lips matched the shade of the actual container which very often not the case.
I applied the lipstain in the morning prior to going to work and didnt have to reapply till after lunch which i was very impressed with as normally i have to apply my lipsticks two to three days during the day.
The balm also had a cooling sensation when first applied however this ceased after a couple of minutes.
Overall this is one of the first lip products by Revlon I have enjoyed using and I would recommend this as a great product to use for wearing at work or at the weekends.
