I have owned a cleaning business for three years now and have worked my way through some hoovers, but henry has been the only one i have had since the beginnning and hope i never part with. He is by far the most reliable. The suction on henry is fantastic and although you dont get all the attatchments with it they are not needed. You still have the brush option for hoovering hard floors, but none of the other attachments, which are rarely used anyway. Henry still requires a bag unlike many new hoovers, however i find this an advantage as i have had many problems with bagless hoovers that constantly need emptying to regain suction. Henry is such a simple design with no small filters that forever need cleaning and it surprises me how a simple design can work so well and efficently but it does. With so few features there is not alot that can go wrong with it, no filters to replace or belts to repairs, just a body and a hose. There is one reason you will see henry whenever you see a cleaning company and that is because he is invaluable a real value for money and nothing i have found on the market comes close to his reliablity and suction power. A real winner round the house.
I went here for the second time last night and am so glad i did. I paid 20 pounds a ticket which was more expensive then usual as last time iothink it was around 12 pounds but last night they were hosting michael mcintyres comedy roadshow, hosted by the man himself followed by 8 comendians. well i certainly did get alot of laughter for my money the comedians were all very uniquely different and all hilarous some more than others of course, but they all had the audience in histerics. The drinks were a resonable price around 2 pounds for a soft drink and 4 pounds for a wine so not overpriced as alot of places in london seem to be. The place itself was sold out and we arrived there early to make sure we could all be seated together as previously when i had been it was a sell out as well. It does not really matter where you sit as seats further back are tiered so you can see. The good thing about the comedy store is that it has such a good reputation that they can afford to pick and choose their acts which is what makes it such a great night out, i have been to a few comedy clubs in my time and on a few occassions have felt embarressed my the low calibure comedians but i feel that i would never get that in the comedy store, i really is a great place to go in london and i feel sure a good night would be had by all.
I have had different versions of this phone now for some years as although many companys now give out the newest models this seems to be the only type of phone three mobile ever give their customers. I have twice had to have this phone repaired in the last year, once because i could not end calls it kept freezing and i would have to take the battery out and again when the call button just fall off. Since the repairs i have had a few occassions where the phone has just reset its date and time and all my settings so overall have not had a great time with this phone the past year. On the plus side it is very easy and simple to use and with a memory card can store lots of your music, photos etc. The camera on this phone also takes decent pictures i mean once transfereed onto your computer and printed they are not top quality but just for takeng pictures intended as screen savers for your phone etc it is a good little camera. Overall i would not recommend this phone, i have had too many problems with it this year and it recently stopped sending my messages as i have to many but it did not inform me of this as you would expect i just had to figure out how to sort the problem out myself.
My son got one of these for his 4th birthday so almost 2 years ago now and although since then newer models including dsi and dsi elite have come out i dont feel like his console is outdated and needs updating just yet. The beauty of this console is that it suits any age as there are so many games for it from brain training for adults to mario and sonic for the younger ones. Shortly after my son received one my 8 year old daughter also nagged me to get her one. To me it is invaluable if we are going on a trip as they can take it with them and recently was a lifesaver on a long haul flight. There are constantly new games being released their favorites being any mario game which of course the ds being nintendo means that it is one of the few consoles those games are avaliable for. I was afraid that the ds would eventually snap as it appeared to be quite flimsy but it has proved me wrong as my now 6 year old son has spent two years wiggling the screen back and forth and it still remains intake, so i am highly pleased with the hard wearing, flexible, invaluable and ever changing ds.
My friend got me this as a present for my birthday as i had casually told her on many occassions i would love a coffee machine, i believe it was a fairly cheap price which actually amazed me that you could buy a coffee filter machine for less than ten pounds but there you go, you can. The instructions were very easy to use and i found it very simple to use the machine from the onset, simply adding water and coffee into different compartments. The coffee in itself is ofcourse much stronger tasting than the instant but i like this especially in the mornings, and you can keep it warm however in the instructions it says only keep it heating for an hour although i know people that keep it warm all day so that would probably be alright to do so. The downside of this machine as oppose to instant is that it can be hard to judge the amount of coffee to add but after using a few times you can judge according to taste, also the temperature is luke warm and not hot as you would get from a kettle, but if you leave it warming on the hot plate it will get warmer. Overall a great buy for the price and simple to use and clean but could be hotter.
Although a trip here can be expensive if you paid full price you can always find offers for buy one get one free which means a family of 4 could get in for under 60 pounds. You can also pay with nectar points and it cost 10 pounds worth of tesco club card points. We went there a few times last year as we had annual merlin passes and my children aged 10 and 6 did not get bored of it. The rides are mainly suited for children of this age and in a few years my ten year old would have probably out grown it as there are limited fast rides and none white knuckle rides. It is aimed at the younger family and plays that role well, with numerous rides and attractions. The only down side is all the rides seem to get extremley busy and a popular ride such as the log flume or vampire ride the wait can easily be over an hour. There are lots of places to eat and many offering two for one after a certain time so plan your trip well and shop for deals and you will have a good day out also aim to arrive early to do all the popular rides first to save yourself queueing later
My son is 6 and still loves this book. Its based on a witch who is out for her night flight with her cat and on her way she bumps in to many different characters who ask for room on her broom, characters include a dog and frog. The rhyming words and colourful pictures make this a delight for children but is suited i would say for children upto 7 years. If your child likes books such as the gruffolo then they will enjoy this, it is nice to see a character such as a witch who has up to now been the main vilian in old school fairy tales such as hansel and gretel seen as a good character very much the same way the giant in a the smartest giant in town also by the same authors. Storys have come a long way since the fairytales i grew up listening to and glad they did i would rather go to bed after listening to this then after hansel and gretel.
We borrowed this game from a friend about a year ago and still have it, while they have obviously not missed it we would not be without it. Its one of the few games on the wii my children still play and have not got bored of. It the closest i can sometimes get them to playing a game that feels like a traditional board game. You can play it as a family and shake the wii remote to roll the dice where you move forward through a series of board games which you decide upon at the begining, the beauty of that is that once you have played it a few time you keep changing the games you play so there is always something different to do. You each compete against each other in a series of mini games, which are always fun and highly competetive. I have two children aged 10 and 6, a boy and a girl and we all including myself and my husband enjoy playing this game, highly recommended.
I have been a neighbours fan for years. I love sitting down at lunchtime every week day and seeing the antics on ramsey street. Unlike british soaps that seem to be full of doom and glum, deaths and affairs neighbours is the opposite and offers some light relief from daily chores. Its like a miracle street where everything turns out well, you can be crippled one week and have recovered the next, everything seems to work out for the bset and i like it that way. Its lighthearted full of funny moments and lovable characters and makes my lunchtime feel so much better. It never hard to catch up with what is going on if you have missed a few episodes and the characters today many have been around for years, including paul robinson, the kennedys and toady. If you are going to become a soap fan then make it this, because everybody needs good neighbours and there is plenty of chance to catch up with twice daily showings on channel 5 and more with freeview channel fiver.
I have only just discovered how the other half live and i am so glad i did. It documents two familys from very different backgrounds one extremly rich and the other on the poverty line. The wealthy family agree to sponser the poor family and over the programms course seem to become friends. The sponser think of ways to help the poorer familys situation and offer them not just finacial but emothional support. It also show two children from both familys around the same age. I find this programme so heart warming to watch and often feel like i want to cry, for the poorer family they seem to be overcome with emothions that somebody wants to help them, and the fact that the familys often become good freinds really does demonstare the fact that money really is not everything and nothing shows that clearer in the way the children play side my side. I enjoy this because all you ever read about are bad things happening when in fact there are still so many kind and wonderful people in the world that are willing to help others. Also the fact that the low income family has no money is not usually a sign of them being lazy and not working it is often due to the fact they have had bad luck and there incomings no longer stretch to there outgoings which the other family seem to appreciate.
this film is a true story about a mother who goes to work and comes home to find her son missing, Any mothers nightmare, when the police finially get around to opening a missing persons case they come across a boy who says he is her son. She knows this is not her child and is distressed as they are convinced it is her missing child and so are no longer looking for her son. She never gives up on looking and the police are convinced she is menatlly unstable as they believe she does not recognise her own child. It tells the story of a womens fight to find her missing child and also a high profile case in which she fights against the police to get things changed. I watched this after being told how wonderful it was, and i am so glad i did. Angelina jolie plays the mothers part fantastically, i could feel her pain and heartache throughout the film. The fact that this film is a true story makes it almost at times impossible to watch. I felt emothionally drained after watching it, there were very graphics scenes in the film which although i thought the film was excellent would stop me from watching it again as i found it too upsetting. This is not just a tearjerker it was an emotional rollercoaster and one which i could still recal living weeks later, even writting this now brings back the sorrow and anger i felt watching this cleaverly thought out film. Dont let the fact that this film effected me so much put you off, it is also a film of courage and a women coming against all odds, but to me a women with younge children myself and the fact it was a true story it is the only film i have ever watched that i feel touched me so deeply.
What can be said about shawshank redemption, it is by far my favorite film which is a feat in itself with the amount of films me and my husband seem to watch in a week. It tells the story of andy (Tim Robbins) who has been sent to prision for the murder of his wife and her lover, he proclaims his innocence throughout but what is really special about this film are also the other characters such as red and brookes, who you get to feel a real warmth and emphathy for. The storyline and great acting alone means that this film often tops best movie surveys and once watched you will understand why, the acting of tim robbins and morgan freeman are superb and the scenes of violence in this film are both shocking and compelling to watch . You will be cheering for andys freedom and doing the opposite for brookes, which any fan will understand but you will need to watch it to find out.
I really enjoyed eden lake but although i found it compelling to watch the realistic storyline made it one of the most frightening things i have seen. A couple in this film are being hunted through the woods (around eden lake) which you may think is a typical horror film, but no they are not being hunted by disfigured hillbillys they are being hunted by a group of teenagers armed with knives. The fact that this film had me immaging this actually happening to a couple who just happened to annoy the wrong chav like teenagers made the film very scary to watch. There are some very graphic scenes in this film, but if you are a horror fan like me i am sure you will love it, It was the most deranged films i had watched untill i saw the film mum and dad a few months later. This film is worth watching just for the chilling ending which had me wanted to turn away.
If you are a horror fan the same as me give this a go. I brought this for my friend for christmas becausea s i told her it was the sickest film i have seen. I am quite a film buff and have got my way through a far amount of horror films including all the ones such as saw and hostel that are really there for the shock factor instead of the scare factor. I have to warn you this is by far the film that had me gagging for its shock factors but as appose to other films of its kind it had a storyline and i found it compelling to watch and the fact that the mum and dad reminded me of fred and rose west made the film even more frightening as it always is when you can actual see the face of the deranged torturer and killer. This is not for the faint hearted and will make you want to be sick which i think is reason enough to watch it.
The trailer to this film is very misleading. I exxpected a comedy about some teenage kids who considered themeselves losers so tried to become heros, is that what i got, no. Well thats a lie i got one kid doing that and the rest of the film is made up with gang members dressed in costumes killing each other. I dont mind violent films i enjoy pulp fiction etc, but cant say i am too keen on the violence of films such as shaun of the dead, which this was. It was neither a realistic violent portrail or a comedy, the killing seems were comical but no the laugh out loud kind. I mean the film was ok and if you like spoof kind of films then you would enjoy it and ofcourse with actors such as nicholas cage then the acting was spot on, just not my kind of film.
