Well, what can you say - I am a young(ish) confused, angry, leftist interested in the ideas of Socialism, et al.

Aside from going to down the pub, i'm going through a quite political phase. In the run up to the last general election in Britain (2001) when I started realising just what total bankruptcy of ideas Tony Blair has brought to an already pathetic 'labour' party and that I couldn't really fit in with the 'centre ground' of 'mainstream' politics so I signed up with the Socialist Alliance (the SWP wasn't for me!).

I am sick to the teeth of being told 'there is no alternative' to the current class system we live under, it seems that under our 'democracy' anyone who see's this system as wrong and looks for alternatives is labelled as an 'extremist' or just a plain loony.

Well, I won't bore you with anymore of my ramblings... just wanted to give you an idea of the perspective I write my op's from - now you know!
