PRODUCT: This is a fruity-floral scent with the tops notes being Dragonfruit, Starfruit and American Plum. These are quite exotic fruits so I was expecting a warm and slightly summery fragrance. The heart of the perfume has notes of purple mokara orchic, queen of the night black tulip and purple peony. The way they describe these notes gives the perfume a bit of a dark and maybe slightly mysterious feel to it. The base notes to the perfume are warm amber, pathchouli and sandalwood.
The perfume bottle is the same as the ‘Heat’, ‘Heat Rush’ and ‘Wild Orchid’ perfume bottles so although it looks square at the bottoms of the bottle it’s rounded to give the bottle curves which give a feminine feel to it. The bottle is a gorgeous dark purple colour to match the box, although the colour does fade as it goes up towards the neck of the bottle which is square in shape. The top of the bottle has a silver band and it’s engraved with Beyonce’s name and the name of the perfume. The lid to the bottle has a purple tint to it and this has Beyonce’s initial engraved into it.
PRICE: I purchased the perfume on special offer from my local Boots store. A 50ml bottle will cost you around £28 at full price and a 100ml bottle will cost you £38.50.
IN USE: When you first spray the perfume there is a definite fruity scent which smells lovely, I personally think this smells more of plum than anything else. This is quite a sweet scent but this doesn’t seem to linger for long before you can smell the floral notes. The floral notes are a reasonable strength; although not too strong but this lingers for a little longer that the top notes. You can smell the slight fruity scent in amongst the floral which I like as it breaks up the floral scent a little. As the floral scent slowly fades you can really smell the warm amber, patchouli and sandalwood which I love. This gives a gorgeous finish to the perfume. I find that at least one spray on each wrist is a good strength for this perfume as it does smell quite strong; although this does disperse a little shortly after applying it.
I applied the perfume to my wrists in the morning before going to work and I could smell the scent for the majority of the day. It started to wear off in the afternoon though which was a little disappointing but I was pleased and impressed that it had lasted that long. As the scent is quite fruity I think it’s a scent that smells nicer during the summer than it does in the winter. This is a lovely evening perfume as well and I quite often wear it out during the evening when going out with my friends or boyfriend.
OVERALL: A gorgeous perfume that I will be buying again.
THE PRODUCT: The perfume is a lovely fruity, floral feminine scent. It has luscious top notes of Mangosteen and Organia Acai Pulp blended with a hint of spicy Pink Pepper. The heart of the fragrance blooms like a flower with the scent of romantic Brassia Edua Loo Orchid, Violet Petals and Indian Sambac Jasmine. Rounding off the scent is sensual Madagascar Vanilla and rich Australian Sandalwood. I personally think that the perfume bottle is gorgeous, due to the gorgeous colour they have used. The perfume bottle is wide at the bottle in the shape of a square and then narrowing to form the neck of the bottle. Although the bottom half of the bottle is square it does have rounded edges to it, to make it look smooth and curved which I think is very feminine looking. The bottle itself is a shade of what I would call ocean blue. At the top of the bottle is gold detailing. The lid to the bottle is square and is again that gorgeous ocean blue colour. Although the bottle isn’t really shaped into anything special, the colour is just gorgeous and I would quite happily have this on display in my bathroom.
PRICE: I purchased a 30ml bottle from my local Boots store for £11.75 which I thought was reasonable. This perfume was actually in the clearance section so you may not be able to purchase it from your local store.
IN USE: When you first spray the perfume it smells both fruity and floral. The scent seems strong at first but disperses slowly revealing more of a floral scent. The scent wasn’t too strong or over powering thankfully. The floral scent did seem to linger for a fair bit which is what made me unsure whether I liked the perfume to begin this but as this slowly faded I could begin to smell the sandalwood scent which gave a lovely finish to the perfume. I personally couldn’t really smell any hint of the vanilla which was a little disappointing as this would have smelt lovely with the sandalwood. Once the perfume gets past the floral scent which can seem strong at first the perfume really developed into a lovely scent. It takes a good few minutes for the perfume to disperse and calm down a little when first spraying it but in terms of the strength of scent I actually think it was perfect and I wouldn’t have wanted it any stronger. I only normally use one or two sprays on perfume on my wrists and rub them together. I find that this is more than enough perfume, especially as the scent can seem a little strong at first. In terms of the scent lasting I found that it lasted a really good amount of time and I could actually smell the perfume throughout the day.
OVERALL: If you like light floral scents then you will like this perfume.
THE PRODUCT: This product is a strengthening nail polish remover with protein and Pro-Vitamin B5 nail whitening formula. This remover allows you to remove nail polish quickly and easily. This product is especially formulated for brittle nails which is what I am suffering from at the moment as my nails keep breaking or the corners tend to snap or break off. The remover comes in a clear bottle which is a tear drop shape. You can clearly see the remover in the bottle which is a light pink colour, to match the screw on lid.
PRICE: I purchased a 100ml bottle of this from Boots for £1.60 but you can also purchase a 200ml bottle for £2.20. You can also purchase this from Superdrug and local supermarkets.
IN USE: To use the nail polish remover I simply unscrew the lid and hold a cotton wool pad over the top of the bottle. I tip the bottle up slightly to ensure some of the remover goes onto the cotton wool pad and then I hold the slightly wet pad onto a nail and rub it gently to remove the nail polish. This nail polish remover does smell but not as strong as some other removers that I have used before. The nail polish I want to remove comes off easily without having to rub too hard at the nails. Since I have been using the nail polish remover my nails do seem to have strengthened a little more. My nails are not breaking as much now and they look healthier too.
OVERALL: A great nail polish that I am going to continue to use.
Caution: Highly flammable. Keep away from children, synthetic materials and polished or painted surfaces.
THE PRODUCT: I have very fine, flat hair and I am always looking at different ways to get some volume into it to make it look a little bigger and less flat. I use a styling mousse or spray on my hair but I need a good hairspray that is going to keep the volume in my hair. This plumping hairspray claims to give you that push you need to flaunt that show-stopping big volume. This hairspray sounded just like the product I was looking for and it sounded a lot better than what any other products had to offer. The hairspray comes in a bright pink can so looks very girly. The can is quite large so it's not really suitable for popping into your handbag. It would fit into an overnight bag or small suitcase easily though.
PRICE: You cna purchase this from Boots and Superdrug. Prices may vary slightly but it costs £4.07 for a 300ml can from Boots. The schwarzkopf hair styling range is currently on offer in there in 2 products for £5.00.
IN USE: To use the product hold the can approximately 30cm away from the head and spray generously. Use th hairspray in short bursts. To give my hair some extra volume I sometimes turn my head upside down and spray the hair. I find that this always helps to give it a good amount of extra volume. I also use the hairspray on my finished/groomed style to ensure that my hair stays looking great. I often have to use this on the part of my fringe which I am trying to tame to one side at the moment.
The hairspray doesn't smell as strong as some others I have used in the past. The hairspray doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff or sticky and it doesn't leave a residue in my hair either. I find that this spray helps to keep my hair looking great all day, although I sometimes apply a little more, later on during the day or if I am going out in the evening. I found that this product brushes out of my hair quite easily and the following day my hair didn't appear to feel greasy or looked like it needed washing.
OVERALL: A great hairspray that I have been using for at least a year.
ABOUT: The Isle of Wight Zoo is a family-run zoo with a special interest in tigers and lemurs. The zoo was built within the ruins of a Victorian Fort built to guard Sandown's coast, which means they face one of the Isle of Wight's nicest beaches. The zoo is always looking for ways to make it fun and easy to find out more about their animals. The optional tour guide makes the experience interactive, with friendly presentations in which they share some of the animals' secrets. The zoo also works in formal education, hosting school groups and going out to visit classrooms. There is free parking for visitors and they are not short on parking spaces.
Adult - £10.00
Child (3-16yrs)/Senior (60+)/Disabled - £7.50
Infant (0-2yrs) – FREE
THE ZOO: After paying we were given a leaflet about the zoo including some talks about some of the animals. We made our way to the first set of enclosures which included Racoons & Marmoset’s. We also saw an enclosure which had lots of wallabies in, some of which were albino wallabies which I have never seen before. The next enclosure which contained a large range of Lemur’s I thought looked a little run down. We made our way to the ‘Big Cats’ section which I was excited about.
The tigers which were in the first enclosure were actually twins and the male twin had no black markings on him. There is a viewing area under a shelter where you could see the tigers through glass. The next enclosure contained a gorgeous male white lion and also a female white lion in the enclosure next to it. These were beautiful. There is a small Farm in this area which contains pigs, goats and rabbits. The Meerkat enclosure is lovely and you can see them all burrowing around the enclosure. From here we went to look at the other big cats which included the White Tiger and African Lions. The white tiger was at the back of the enclosure lying down so we weren’t able to see her. The African lion was also lying in the sun but quite high up so we were unable to see this one either.
We made our way to the other enclosures which included Coatis, Jaguar, Geoffrey’s Cat and there were also some monkey’s as well which seemed to be having fun jumping from their ropes. There is an education centre in the zoo where you can learn about the animals and the care that they get whilst at the zoo. There is a Café which sells a range of snacks and drinks. There are also some reptiles in vivarium’s including snakes and spiders. There are toilets at the zoo but they are located outside of the café. There is a small gift shop which sells a range of different gifts such as stuffed toys, postcards and other items.
OVERALL: A lovely little zoo that I would visit again if on holiday in the Isle of Wight.
ABOUT: This game is made by Orchard Toys who make a large range of games and jigsaws for children. Some of their games are suitable for younger children whereas others are more suitable for older children. This game will encourage younger children to count with the friendly spotty dogs pictured on the cards. The game also helps to develop personal and social skills, shape and matching skills, encourages number and counting skills and encourages observational skills. The game contains a total of 24 cards which are laid out on the table, with the spotty dogs face up. Using the spinner each player takes it in turn to spin the spinner which will eventually stop on a number. The player then needs to find a dog card with that number of spots on. The player keeps this card as they will need to count up the bones on the back of the card at the end of the game. It then moves onto the next players game. This game is suitable for ages 3-6 and you can have 2-4 people playing the game at any one time.
PRICE: You can purchase this from Amazon for as little as £5.43 which I think is very reasonable.
PLAYING: After laying the cards out on the table I left my nephew spin the spinner first. The spinner is made from recycled thick card and is nice and colourful anf the arrow on the spinner spins very easily. Once it lands on a number my nephew always says the number and then chooses a card with a dog on with the correct amount of spots. For the higher numbers such as five or six he tends to count the spots on the dog to ensure he picks up the right card. The cards are also made fom recycled card and are nice and thick and are coated so that they can be wiped clean. After all the cards have gone, we then count up the bones on the reverse of each card. The bones will be in a red basket or sometimes there are no bones at all. My nephew counts his bones first and then we encourage him to count ours as well to help with counting skills. The game doesn't take long to play and my nephew enjoys playing this at least twice in a row sometimes.
OVERALL: A fun, doggy counting game.
THE PRODUCT: My nephew received these Peppa Pig Dominoes for Christmas and just loves playing with them. I have only just recently played them with him, hence why I am now writing a review on them. There are a total of 28 giant themed dominoes which are made from strong plastic. The numbers that you would normally find on dominoes has been replaced with pictures of Peppa Pig and her friends to make the game fun for younger children. Each domino is brightly coloured showing a picture of Peppa or one of her friends and it also states the name of the person on the domino as well. This game is suitable for children aged 3 yrs upwards and a total of 2-6 players can play this game at any one time.
PRICE: I have seen these on Amazon for £6.74 which is for a brand new box of these. You may also be able to find these cheaper elsewhere such as on eBay.
PLAYING: To play the game ensure that the dominoes are face down and each player needs to pick 8 dominoes which are their dominoes to play with. The first player (the youngest) starts by putting one of the dominoes down. As my nephew puts down the domino he always states who is on the domino. The next person has to join a domino onto the one already placed but it must match one of the characters on the end of the domino. The next player then goes and so on. If you can join a domino onto either end of the last ones placed then you must pick up a domino from the pile and then the next player takes their turn as normal. The winner is the person who gets rid of all their dominoes first. The dominoes are very well made and are nice and strong being made from plastic, this means that they can be wiped clean if they happen to get dirty or anything gets spilt on them. The colours on the dominoes are bright and colourful and my nephew is able to tell which Peppa Pig character is on the domino very easily. Although the dominoes are made from plastic they are nice and light-weight. All the dominoes fit back into the box they came in perfectly.
OVERALL: A great domino game for any Peppa Pig fan.
THE PRODUCT: This mousse crates weightless volume and body to fine hair and helps to reinforce the hair and add anti-statis effect to leave hair manageable and full. The Complex Vita-Ciment restores inner substance strengthening from the root and the Contouring Polymers, shapes hair from roots to ends and adds body and suppleness. I did read about this product before buying it and it seemed to have very positive reviews about it, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have bothered purchasing it at all. The mousse comes in a light green coloured can. All the products from the Volumactive range come in this light green coloured packaging.
PRICE: You can purchase this from various different hair salons and website, so it might be best to look around for the best price. I purchase a 150ml can from www.gorgeousshop.com for £14.63.
IN USE: After washing my hair I dispensed a tennis ball size amount of mousse and applied it to the roots, lengths and ends of my hair. I ran a comb through my hair to ensure it was distributed evenly. The mousse has a nice light scent to it, but its not all that obvious due to it being so light. I blow dried my hair using a large round brush and as I did so I could see that I had a lot more volume in my hair than what I would normally have. It took a good 10mins to blow dry my hair but it was worth it.After blow drying my hair I did run the straighteners through it to give my hair the perfect finish.
RESULTS: My hair seemed to have a lot more volume and bounce to it and my hair looked healthy. When feeling my hair it did feel as though it had a slight residue in it but thankfully I couldn't see anything in my hair. I applied a little hair spray in the hope that this would keep the volume in all day. Throughout the day I found that the volume did stay in my hair which I was very pleased with and also impressed with. My hair didn't feel heavy and it looked lovely and healthy, even at the roots, where I thought I could feel a little residue from the mousse. If I wanted a little more volume in my hair, I simply tipped my head upside down and ruffled the roots with my finger tips and this helped to give my hair that little bit more volume.
OVERALL: A great mousse but it did leave a slight residue feeling in my hair.
ABOUT: When I saw the name of this series I immediately thought ‘Psycho’ due to the series being called ‘Bates Motel’. After reading a little more information about the series I decided to at least watch the first episode to see what it was like and ever since then I have been hooked on it. Bates Motel is from the same producers as Lost and Friday Night Lights. This series is a modern day prequel to the iconic film ‘Psycho’ so if you enjoyed that film then you might like this series. This series is obviously a lot more modern and a lot better than the film as I remember studying the film in school and thinking that it looked very out dated, but then it is an old film so what more can you expect. This series stars Academy Award Nominee Vera Farmiga (Norma Bates). The other main actor in this film is Freddie Highmore (Norman Bates) whom was in the modern version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are a total of 10 episodes for Season One, each one which is around 40mins long.
PRICE: Season one is available to purchase on DVD for around £7.00 from Amazon.
SEASON ONE: Norman and his mother purchase a motel and move to White Pine Bay in the search of a new life after Norman finding his father dead in the garage. It’s not quite clear how he died but this comes to light further on in the series. From the second episode of this season this is when we see the first sexual and bloody violence. I was quite surprised to see this so early on in the season but it does grab your attention. As Norma and Norman try to set up their Motel ready for business Norman discovers a hidden book under the carpet in one of the rooms which has some pictures and Chinese writing in. Is this book hiding a secret about what formally went on in the motel? In this series we also get to meet another of Norma’s sons who is clearly not welcome into Norma’s home although things soon change when he helps Norma and Norman with a crisis that could get them into trouble. In this season we also meet the two local police man for the town but there is something about them that just doesn’t seem quite right. Despite Norma and Norman moving to White Pine Bay for a new start, it isn’t what it seems to be and the town actually hides some deadly secrets. There are lots of twists and turns in the first series, most of which you don’t see coming. Maybe Norman will see if his mother really does know best!
This Season is aged 18 and contains sexual violence, strong bloody violence and sex references.
BONUS FEATURES: Deleted Scenes, Paley Center Panel Discussion with the Cast and Creative Team
OVERALL: A fantastic TV Series that I can’t wait to see more of.
THE PRODUCT: I always trying to get some sort of volume into my hair and despite using lots of products such as sprays and mousse I still haven't been able to achieve the volume I want to I decided to give this Volumactive spray a go. I have used products from the Kerastase range before and have been impressed with the results but this is the first product I have purchased from the Volumactive range which is specifically for fine, flat hair. This leave in volumising spray is lightweight andit's amplifying formula delivers long-lasting volume, strength and vitality for big, bouncy hair. The spray claims to leave hair feeling fuller and soft to the touch unlike some other products and hair mousse which leaves hair feeling stiff and crunchy.
PRICE: For a 125ml bottle of the product it will cost you around £15.60 which is rather pricey but this is a salon branded range, hence the high price. You can purchase the Kerastase products from various different websites.
IN USE: Apply the product to shampooed, towel-dried hair. For best results they suggest using the Volumactive shampoo & conditioner in this range although in this case I decided to use the spray on it's own. I sprayed the product on my hair from roots to the ends and them combed through my hair to ensure it was distributed evenly. The spray comes out in a fine mist and has a nice, light scent to it which was very pleasant. This product does not need to be rinsed out and you can style your hair as normal. I blow dry my hair using a big round brush as I find that this helps to give my hair even more volume.
RESULTS: After blow drying my hair, I have to admit that I was surprised at how much volume my hair had. My hair looked bigger and bouncier than normal and it no longer looked flat. My hair didn't feel and look as fine either. My hair felt extremely soft to touch and the spray hadn't caused it to feel hard or crunchy like some other products do. I sprayed some hair spray in my hair to set my style and went to work. I was surprised when looking in the mirror a little later that my hair still looked great and it still had plenty of volume to it. I was able to brush my hair before going to bed without any problems. The following morning I brushed my hair and applied a little hair spray at the roots to get some of the volume back. My hair surprisingly didn't feel or look greasy and the spray hadn't left any residue in my hair either.
OVERALL: My new, favourite volumising spray.
THE WELLINGTONS: These particular wellingtons are a shorter style and come in a lovely range of heritage-inspired prints. The wellingtons have a tread pattern which helps to give enhanced grip and they have an exceptional cold weather resistance as well. The boots are covered by their 1 year guarantee; although I hoped that they would last longer than this considering I would only be wearing them a few times a year. The Mid-Calf wellies have a Synthetic Upper, Synthetic Lining and Synthetic Sole. These particular wellies are navy blue and have white spots all over them. The sole of the boots are a deep pink colour and they do have a very slight heel to them. On each side of the boots is a gold buckle and on the front of the boots is the Joules logo. The boots have a loop on the back which helps you to pull them on. I liked the design of the boots as they were fairly simple and I liked the fact that they were mid-calf as well which I thought would be more comfortable then full length wellingtons. The wellies came in a welly bag which is nothing fancy, it’s just a frosted plastic drawstring bag but the bag does seem quite strong and the wellies fit in there perfectly.
PRICE: The boots are priced at £36.95; how-ever I got them on eBay for £29.95 and you can purchase them from the Joules website even cheaper at £24.95. (www.joules.com).
IN USE: The size 6 wellingtons fit me very well so long as I wear thicker socks as if I wear my normal cotton socks that I often wear with trainers and other boots the wellies feel a little too big. The boots are easy to slip on and off even with thick socks and I find that my feet actually stay quite warm in the wellies; although this is probably more to do with the thick socks that I wear. I have to admit I did find it a little strange walking in the wellies at first as I haven’t done so since I was a child but despite this the wellies were nice and easy to walk in. I have only had chance to wear the wellies once when it was a little wet outside and I took my nephews for a walk up to the local shops. The wellies didn’t cause any rubbing or blisters to my heels or toes when wearing them. My feet stayed lovely and dry and I felt that I looked rather trendy in my spotty welly boots. Although I didn’t step on anything that was all that slippery the boots have a good grip on them even when walking on things such as wet drains. I haven’t got the wellies really muddy yet but I have no doubt they wipe clean easily as suggested in the welly care label that was attached to the boots.
OVERALL: Lovely looking wellingtons that I am glad I purchased.
THE PRODUCT: Whether you have long hair, short hair, highlights, hair extensions, an afro or weaves hair the Tangle Teezer claims to detangle and smooth your hair into superb condition. Tangle Teezer dramatically reduces hair breakage, splitting and damage, resulting in beautifully shiny hair. The tangle teezer can be used on wet hair as it glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking.
A few months ago I purchased some Tigi shampoo & conditioner for coloured hair and for some reason these products make my hair knotty. This is the main reason why I decided to purchase the tangle Teezer to see if it could help with my wet knotty hair. The brush is made from plastic and is shaped to fit into the palm of your hand perfectly when using it. The bristles to the brush are also made from plastic but seem quite fine and they seem quite flexible as well when trying to bend them with my finger.
I purchased the Pink Tangle Teezer from my local Boots store for £10.99. The tangle teezer comes in a range of different colour and there are also other Tangle Teezer brushes in the range.
IN USE: Simply use this brush like any other; although this brush cannot be used with heat such as a hair dryer. The brush is lovely and light-weight and due to the shape it does fit into the palm of my hand nicely so it's comfortable to hold when using it. The first time I used the brush was on wet hair just after washing it. The brush seemed to go through my hair from root to tip without any problems. The ends of the hair sometimes tend to get a little knotty and a few brushes with the tangle teezer and my hair was knot free. As the hair brushes through the knotty parts of the hair it doesn't pull on my hair so isn't painful to my scalp. My hair doesn't break either which I sometimes found when trying to use my previous hair brush on my hair. I have used the brush on dry hair as well and again the brush glides through my hair nice and easily from root to tip. It leaves my hair feeling and looking lovely and smooth. As the bristles to the brush are quite thin and also flexible they don't feel harsh or scratchy on my scalp like some other brushes. After using the brush I find that there isn't really a lot of loose or stray hairs in between the bristles like I get with my other brush which I assume is because the tangle teezer doesn't pull or break hair like my previous brush probably did. I clean the brush out regularly and give it a wash in some lukewarm soapy water and leave to dry.
OVERALL: I was very impressed with this brush and am glad I purchased it.
THE PRODUCT: My nephew has a lot of the Bigjigs rail toys and it was his birthday recently and he received some more items to go with the train set including these buffers which would be perfect for his track as when building the track we often end up with ends that we can do nothing with so these buffers would be perfect for finishing off the tracks. The buffers comes in a pack of 6 and you receive 3 buffers of one style and 3 of another style. They are very similar although some are a little longer than others. This buffer set is suitable for children aged 3yrs and over and the buffers are compatible with lots of other wooden train sets.
PRICE: You can purchase these from Amazon or the Bigjigs website for £3.99 which I think is very reasonable.
PLAYING: The buffers are made very well and they seem to be very strong. At the end of the buffers there is red and white stripes painted on them and this seems to be painted on very well as the paint has not chipped off yet despite them being played with a lot. The buffers fit perfectly into the other pieces of wooden track and they are perfect for us to be able to finish off a complete track without the train coming off of the track. My nephew can join the buffers onto the pieces of the track as well and also remove them easily too. We haven't come across any issues with the wooden buffers and to be honest as they are made so well I don't think we will.
OVERALL: A great addition to your Bigjigs rail set.
PRODUCT: When I bought my new mobile phone I wanted to keep it protected as much as possible so I wanted a decent case for it. I found this one on eBay and when looking up the brand it sounded quite good. This flexible Impact Shell provides outstanding impact protection for the back and sides of your Samsung Galaxy S5. The shell is a slim fit and weighs just 35g so is also light as well. The shell is created with a TPU formula which is known for its flexibility and abrasive resistance. The scientifically proven shock absorbing D30 material lines this smooth smell surrounding your phone with intelligent impact protection. This particular shell has a smooth, glossy finish to it and it allows you to function all parts of your phone without any problems.
PRICE: I purchased this from eBay for £24.99 but you can purchase it from Amazon as well. The case comes in Smokey, Pink and Blue.
IN USE: The shell is fairly easy to put on the phone as it’s slightly flexible so it can be bent slightly to enable you to get the phone into the cover properly. The case is a very good fit and I am able to use the buttons on the side of my phone still without any problems. Even the volume buttons when talking on the actual phone. This case isn’t the most attractive as the impact material in the case is an orange colour which is the same throughout all the different colours. The back part of the case is clear though with the appropriate hole cut out for the camera and speaker at the back. This case isn’t the most attractive but I’m not really that bothered so long as it protects my phone and prevents any damage being done to it, should I happen to accidentally drop it. I had had my phone in this case for a good 4-5 months now and I haven’t come across any problems with it at all. I have dropped the phone once, on soft flooring and thankfully I didn’t damage the phone which was probably helped by the case. This case does not protect the front of your phone so if you happen to drop the phone and it lands face down the chances are that the screen would probably break or at least crack or chip.
OVERALL: Not the best looking phone case but it does protect my phone.
PRODUCT: This product is suitable for anyone suffering from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and itchy skin. This is a natural product and is totally free from steroids, hormones, cortisones, peroxides, alcohol, parabens, anti-biotics and the products is not tested on animals. This spray is formulated to provide a safe, effective and practical solution for problem skin. This spray deals with the symptoms commonly experienced during a flare up and also the need to manage skin on a longer term basis. This spray should stop itching within a matter of minutes and within the first few hours of applying this product your skin should feel more supple and less tight. The natural formula has no side effects so is suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The spray is also non greasy, so there will be no staining on clothes or bed linen.
PRICE: I purchased this from my local Boots store. The spray does come in various different sizes but I had to purchase the 50ml bottle of spray as this is the smallest one they had for £9.99.
IN USE: Sake the bottle and hold no more than 10cm from the skin and spray liberally onto the affected areas. Repeat this 3-4 times a day. As the skin starts to return to normality you can gradually reduce application. I decided to try this only on one particular patch of skin for now to see what it was like. This particular patch is the itchiest out of them all. The spray comes out in a fine mist and instantly feels cooling on the skin. Some creams and lotions make my eczema sting but I didn't experience this with this product. The product does have a menthol scent to it, so I tend to spray it in the bathroom rather than my bedroom as I didn’t want it smelling of menthol in there. I will admit that the patch of skin seemed to look rather red after applying the product but I no longer felt the need to scratch it anymore.
RESULTS: After using the spray for 3-4 days my eczema definitely wasn’t as itchy as it had been and it didn’t feel or look as dry or red as it had been before I had started using the spray. I have to admit that I was impressed with the results so far but would give it another few days/weeks to see what the results were like then. With regular use of this product my eczema seems to have cleared up a great deal and is no longer itchy or dry. I still have faint marks where the eczema was but it's greatly improved and I am feeling confident again now. This product does work out rather expensive if you have a lot of eczema to treat but it worked for me. Although having said that it might not work for everyone.
OVERALL: A great spray for my eczema despite the smell.
