I love this water, and as someone who has respiratory problems i have been told it's very important for me to stay hydrated. This water is the tastiest way to do it, my favourite flavour is the touch of orange and peach. It is so easy to drink, the bottle is gone before you realise you've drank it. There is such an interesting range of flavours you will never get bored of trying them. Drinking fizzy water and squash is fine, but this really is more refreshing and hydrating, without being too overpowering in flavour, you wont get a sugar headache with this! it's about time there was a drink that is naturally sweet without being sickly, and one that more often than not, is on offer or low in price. Overall this is a tasty treat, perfect for a summer barbecue, that will satisfy and hydrate you without breaking the bank.
How did no one think of this before? its genius! stick your finger in, twiddle around and all the polish is gone. There was a time that I spent ages with bits of cotton wool or tissue paper, desperately trying to scratch off the last little bits of nail polish from around my nail beds, but this just takes a second, and it is ALL gone. what is really great as well is the fact that once you have used all the remover in the pot, you don't have to buy a new one, you can just top up with ordinary nail polish remover from a bottle. People may say I am overreacting, that its not such a big deal, but to those people I say NO. It is a big deal. It does matter. And I will not rest until I have spread the word far and wide, effectively ending these times of scruffy looking, slightly still coloured 'i didn't quite have time' nails. This is the future, and I will never go back.
I am a big fan of benefit products, and I have to say that this was no exception. The lip gloss glides on like silk, smells wonderful and looks great. My personal favourite is the dandelion one, the colour is light and isn't overpowering so it gives you a rather natural look. If there is one thing I hate, it's a lipgloss that makes you look like coco the clown! If I was forced to make a complaint, I would have to say that it doesn't last quite as long as I would like, but is not any worse than any other lipgloss I have tried. Frankly the 'long lasting' lip glosses i have tried either haven't worked or they dry your lips out completely. These lip glosses are some of the nicest I have tried, and I tend to make rather a hobby of buying and trying lip gloss! Overall I give them a big thumbs up.
Well, what can I say about this nail polish? It glitters. you can see from the outside, you can guess from the name, that this is a very glittery nail polish, so when all's said and done it does exactly what it says on the tin. The polish itself can tend to be a little thin, so you may need to apply a few coats to get a solid glitter colour, or if you prefer it can be used over the top of other nail polish to add a little sparkle. All in all, any girly girl will love this nail polish (even if they don't want to admit it) perfect for a night out, or even just to make yourself feel better. It takes a while to dry, and it does chip easily once you have finished, It doesn't last a very long time, maybe a few days if you are careful, but for the price and the quality of the finished effect I think it's worth it. They come in loads of shades as well so you don't have to stick to just one, so at the end of the day I give it a big thumbs up!
This eyeshadow came in fab vibrant colours and i was really looking forward to using them, I thought it was a brilliant idea that there were 4 colours in one tray as I love mixing and matching the different shades. there were loads of colours to choose from and i felt spoilt for choice!
However I was sadly disappointed when I found that the colours didn't blend as I had hoped, and the colours were nowhere near as vibrant as they looked in the container. In fact they were rather crumbly and didn't stay in place as well as I thought they would.
I thought that perhaps using a damp eyeshadow brush (as i had done with many other similar products) would help with the application and the vibrancy of the colours, but this wasn't the case, the damp brush only made matters worse since it produced a clumpy consistency with the eyeshadows. Not really what I look for in an eyeshadow product.
I was never really into blushers until i found coralista, I found that other blushers made me look a bit like a doll, and I was always applying too much or too little, I could never get it right. (cue holy music) Then i found coralista and have never looked back, I am now on my third, since it is the one constant in my make-up. It's the perfect shade, the little brush it comes with is ideal and it is never heavy or too much.
The amount you get for the price will not please everyone. It is expensive and, when used very day, will quickly run out, it's also worth noting that when reaching the end of its life, the product becomes increasingly more difficult to extract from the box, since the little brush does not entirely reach around the edges. The result being that you are often forced to buy a new one before you have used 100% of the product.
I do understand that it may not suit everyone, different skin tones may not suit this girly shade and my mother in particular has remarked that it is too light for her tastes, since when applied it comes out much lighter than the picture. I myself have a fair complexion, and so is the perfect shade because it is not too dark. It is an expensive purchase so you should be sure that it is the right one for you before buying.
Firstly let me say that i am a huge Benefit fan, I have tried and tested many of the products and have found most of them to be fantastic.
However with this foundation I am sad to say that It really didn't live up to my expectations. It was rather greasy to apply, and it settled in far too quickly before I really had much time to rub it in, leaving me with a uneven and rather shiny complexion.
The fact is that my skin can sometimes be oily on its own and this product only made it worse, since it seemed to move around and rub off as the day wore on. I also found that a little doesn't really go a long way, there didn't seem to be much product in the pot and had I continued using it, it probably wouldn't have lasted very long at all.
Do Benefit really expect people to pay so much for this product? Only to have to replace it a short while later? Personally I can't imagine many people wanting to buy this product more than once. However cute the packaging is.
These shoes are without a doubt the comfiest shoes that I have ever owned. Hands down. Toms shoes are designed regarding comfort and concern for the world, since every time you buy a pair of Toms another pair are given to a child in need, this makes for happy feet and guilt free shopping. It's a win win situation.
The only thing I would say is that although they are wonderful in every other aspect, they are not exactly the prettiest shoes I have ever owned and they will not protect your feet if you accidentally step in a puddle.
That being said, I feel that the pros far outweigh the cons in this case and I will wear my toms until they fall apart. Then I will buy a new pair. One thing to say is that when trying them on they will not be as comfy as you expect, this is because after a short while they soften and mould themselves to your feet and become comfier over time.
Designed to be a light as air foundation, maybelline introduced this product presumably to attract those who found ordinary foundation a little to heavy for their skin. Having a foundation dispensed as a light mousse appears to be a revolutionary idea, however, the only good point about this foundation is that it is light. Unfortunately the faults with this foundation far outweigh the good points. The mousse doesn't blend well, it is not straightforward to apply and had a tendency to dispense more than required, even with the lightest of squirts. After a few days of using the product and finding that I simply could not get on with it i reverted to my previous foundation and i haven't looked back. Usually i am a fan of maybelline and have used many of their products in the past but i cant help but feel that they haven't quite lived up to expectations with this product. It seems that the idea is a lot better than the product itself.
Having read the book first i was skeptical that the film would live up to my expectations, and I'm sorry to say that i was right. The film didn't have the same captivating atmosphere as the book, and i found it hard to get into the story whereas with the book i was hooked from the first page.
Having said that, i enjoyed the film immensely once i stopped comparing it to the book and starting appreciating it on its own merits. The film follows the life of Eva Katchadourian, a woman struggling to live a normal life after an event that turned her world upside-down, and we watch as Eva deals with the devastating results. The film shows flashbacks of her life before the event with her family, her relationship with her husband her daughter, and most importantly her relationship with her son Kevin.
The film has it's flaws and may not be suited to all tastes, but the tremendous performances, particularly by Tilda Swinton, help to portray this film in a such a way that it stays with you long after the credits roll.
The market may now be flooded with different hairstyle solutions. There may be all different kinds of gadgets to straighten, curl, waves and give volume to your hair, but the truth is all you really need is a pair of ghds. My ghds have seen me through every hair emergency i have ever had, whether its out of control frizz or flat as a pancake. Although they may be expensive, they will last and continue to deliver amazing results day after day after day. The ghds don't only straighten hair, with simple techniques, it's easy to create volume, curls and waves. Ask anyone who owns a pair of ghds if they would go back to ordinary straighteners, the answer will almost definitely be NO. It's easy to pass over ghds for lesser, more 'value for money' products but you will never get the same results and will most likely end up with a pair of ghds anyway! so save yourself some time, disappointment and money and go for ghds first.
The apple Macbook Pro is a fantastic product, it is fast, easy to use and outperforms any laptop that i have used, although expensive, I fell that it is totally worth the money. This is without a doubt the best laptop i have ever worked with, the smooth sleek design is, in my opinion, rivalled by no one. Having been through a few laptops, (many of them having broken within merely months of use) I can safely say that using the macbook pro is almost another experience entirely. Once you having gotten used to finding your way around all the icons on the home-screen there is no way that you will ever want to go back to a PC. There may be some people who are under the impression that these types of laptop are just for those who are used to using high tech equipment, this couldn't be further from the truth, not being particularly skilled with IT myself I was surprised to find how easy it was to use and how fast I learned my way around it. Overall i would recommend to anyone.
Benefit have created a reputation for themselves based not only on cute designs, but with the fantastic products underneath the designs, and I am pleased to say that the Dr feelgood balm does not disappoint. This balm is used under or over make-up to smooth out pores and reduce shine, and I found that it smoothed my skin and almost eliminated my pores. I wore the balm both underneath make-up and alone, and people commented on how smooth my skin looked, the results are instant.
Since my skin can be quite oily I was worried that shiny skin would be an issue, however it covered my shine quite successfully and lasted well. One thing I would say is to be careful when applying, too much of the balm can result in it flaking off of the skin, not attractive! Otherwise this is a fantastic product i would recommend to anybody.
