I have always taken pride my teeth being clean. I visit my dentist every nine months as she says my teeth are very good for an almost thirty eight year old.
I dread the dentist as I have a jaw disorder called 'TMJ' causing nerve pains in the face.
Comes in a silver box and it tells us that it is Aquafresh extreme clean.
There is the Aquafresh trade mark at the top of the box showing the red white and blue colours. Content of the paste is 100ml.
For further information regarding this product, visit their website: www.aquafresh.co.uk
This tooth paste has different colour stripes that are red white and blue; each having different uses within the paste.
I use just over a pea size amount on my tooth brush and it tastes of spear mint, leaves my mouth smelling fresh and clean for hours after use. I use this paste twice daily, both morning and night.
I purchased this at tesco and was on offer for the bargain price of 95p.
Vitamins that are present in this milk are as follows; Taurine and iron are prominent in this product as it is essential in a cats daily diet.
This product is not suitable for kittens under the age of eight weeks as they require their mothers milk at that stage.
The product comes in a carton with the Sainsbury's logo easy visible at the front of the carton. There is a picture of a cat on the carton.
At the top there is a blue srew lid to gain access to the product. Deatails of the customer care line are given for further information visit their website: www.sainsburys.co.uk or telephone their hotline: 0800 636262.
Three cats live in my home one belonging to me and the other two belong to my best mate who lives with me. Every so often one of us purchases cat milk for the cats as it is much lower in Lactose than normal cows milk that can cause tummy upsets and give cats diarrhea.
The milk is rather creamy and is like a beige colour it smells more like cream than milk.
The cats have a saucerful each in the morning and in the evening it contains all of the vitamins and mineral that are required in a cats daily diet. Each carton contains four servings. Once opened refrigerate. The cats love this and drink a saucerful in no time at all.
Exclusive to Sainsbury's for 60p.

Comes in a black glass jar with a black lid also. The jar that I am writing about contains 100 grams of coffee within the jar. The product is made by a company called: 'Mondelez' they are part of the coffee made happy farmers who wish to become Enterneurs further information can be found: www.coffeemadehappy.com
I adore coffee and am rather a coffee snob to be honest. I live on a tight budget, however I do not skimp on my coffee. A jar of this lasts me just over two weeks, fabulous considering I drink about four mugs a day.
The coffee has notes of nuts to it with a mild coffee smell. You can have the coffee to your own taste and how strong you like it of course. I prefer a flat tea spoon with sweetener and milk. This product is the nicest instant coffee that I have ever tasted and became a firm favourite of mine almost twenty years ago by a boyfriend I had a the time. I tried other brands over the years but always go back to my old faithful this beautful Carte Noire instant coffee. You can of course buy the other version of this for coffee machines, however for quickness I always opt for this version.
The coffee has a velvety smooth texture to it with no bitter taste to this it. The coffee has a good of a taste to it as pure filter coffee if not better in my humble opinion.
I paid £3.80 for this from my local Sainsbury's Super market.

The sweeteners come in tablet form and come in a stylish pellet style box. At the top there is a picture of a strawberry and it clearly tells us that they are called 'Truvia' made by a very well known company called Silver Spoon, who make a verity of products including, Sugar and sweeteners. The box contains 100 tablets. It tells me that they are calorie free and are made from stevia leaf. The leaves are steeped in water to allow it to infuse simular to making a cup of tea.
* Please be aware that this product is not suitable for lactose intollence as they contain this ingredient.
The product sponsers diabeties uk and raised £50,000 in 2013.

In my opinion I find these tasteless and bitter. I usually use Hermesetas and only use two to suit my taste buds. There is a green button at the side of the box to eject the tablets. The tablets come out of the bottom. These where not sweet at all and left a very bitter after taste in my mouth. Two where not enough and I ended up having four in my coffee, this made no difference what so ever. I bought these from my local Tesco store on offer and thought there was no harm in giving them a try as my Consultant at 'Slimming World' uses these for us at group, to have with a cup of tea or coffee whilst we are there. I didn't try them as I thought I'd buy some to try at home. Never again I have wasted my money totally.
You can also buy these in small packets of these that contain one tablet per sachet.
I paid £1.24 for these as they where on offer. Available at most supermarkets or Chemists.
For those of you who may not already know, I've been following the 'Slimming World' weight loss plan since the beginning of January, we are now in May and I have lost just over two stone.
After moving out of Coventry to Rugby and live in a house with my best mate, I decided to get something sweet in that wasn't too naughty for both of us to eat. I had to give these a try after spotting them in my local Iceland store for £2.00 for a box of two.
Comes in a purple box with the Weight Watchers from Heinz clearly seen at the front of the box. The pots are plastic and round with contents within the pot. Simply tear the film sleeve off the top of the pot and enjoy.
I have a savory tooth, however from time to time I crave something sweet. Following the Slimming World weight loss plan I was on the hunt for a pudding that didn't contain too many calories.
Whilst shoping im my local Icelands store I spotted these in the Weright Watcher from Heinz freezer section. I have never tried these before but decided to give them a try what did I have to loose at the bargain price of a pound per pudding.
At the bottom of the pot there is chocolate sponge followed by Belgium chocolate and a vanilla moose and chocolate swirls at the top with chocolate pieces for decoration.
The pudding smells of vanilla more than it does chocolate however this is an very tasty pudding indeed with not may calories at all. At slimming world it only contains seven syns per pot, or four weight watchers points that to me gives me total piece of mind. That is good considering at Slimming World we are allowed between five and fifteen points per day.
Available from all good supermarkets for around £2.00 per box of two.
I was on the look out for a stylish yet not too pricey kettle for my kitchen. I live with my best mate and we like our home to look the part.
I purchased this from Argos for the simple reason I was on a budget and black is the colour we chose to go in the kitchen. This kettle hold up to 1.7 letres that is plenty enough for two people and a couple of visitors. I am impressed as it boils rather quickly and the water stays hot not luke warm like some kettles boil these days. The only down fall is that the lid seems to open slightly on it own accord. With the lid opening it causes more steam and if you touch the lid you will get scalded.
The switch to it illuminates a orange glow making it look sylish.
I use the kettle to make hot drinks of course however I also use it for boiling water for cooking on the hob. One draw back I have discovered is that because it is black it shows up lime scale on the outside near the spout and has to be cleaned there daily to prevent build up.
I descale the kettle every month to stop limescale from collecting on the element this does not just save money on buying a new kettle, it adds to the life and function of the kettle also.
I do like it and would advice the manufacturer to re design the lid to prevent it from opening on its own. Please be careful with children when using.
I use the kettle several times a day as I do love my cup of coffee and occational tea. Available in other colours too.
Available from Argos fro the bargain price of £11.99
My best mate and I have recently moved into a two bedroom house, as you can imagine money has been tight so economising has taken its form. I am not a real bread lover a loaf can last me a week, however I have found this bread delightful.
My best mate says this bread is utterly inedible however I disagree I think it is moreish, we do beg to differ as we do live together after all.
The bread has been cut to medium sliced and is brown in colour. The bread smells of oats with a malty undertone. The bread itself tastes as wholemeal bread should with a smooth texture.
I am pleased to point out that Sainbury's do not use bleach in any of their bread or cake products and this product is suitable for vegans too. Each loaf contains 800 grams of bread. Allergy advice is given, as it contains gluten, rye barley and oats, this can be found in bold writing on the packaging.
I use my bread for sandwiches with a variety of fillings, including: Cheese, egg and cress, ham, salad. you may have your own variety. I also like this bread toasted with low fat spread and marmalade. I have this as I am currently attending Slimming World and have this as my healthy B option, for those of you who don't know it means fibre in your daily dietary requirements
I have a toasty maker and have a toasty several times a week with cheese or whatever meat I have in at the time. This bread works really well with the machine and doesn't stick or anything as long and you coat the top and bottom layer with plenty of spread or butter, to prevent it from sticking.
This product has a not either soft or hard texture it has a melt in the mouth texture to it.
I actually prefure this bread to the leading brands. Deanne (my best mate), would argue the fact as she dispises it, however I am the reviewer and my opinion counts.
A thumbs up from me and it will be purchased again, however my mate will be buying her own leading brand bread from now on.
Available for 40p a loaf only available at Sainsbury's or Sainsbury's local stores.
I suffer from very dry skin not just on my hands but feet. Recently I visited my local Boots Pharmacy and was on the hunt for something for my very dry hands. My hands where not just sore but where very chapped from the cold. Being on a budget I didn't want to pay over the odds. The cram is white in colour and has a very light fragrance and smells of light floral scents with a citrus undertone.
It's non greasy formula makes it easy to apply and massage in to both nails and hands without your hands feeling greasy and slimey as some creams do.
I apply the cream twice a day in the morning and in the evening. With cold weather and using cleaning makes our hands dry out and loose moisture in them.
After using the cream for just a week my hands feel softer and my cuticles feel more nourished. My nails have become less brittle too.
Slimming world was foundered in 1969 by a British lady called Margaret Miles-Bramwell, who had weight issues and invented this fantastic weight loss programme.
All of the Slimming world consultants have at some point in their lives have been obese making them good role models in weight loss. Every consultant has a empathetic approach to individuals needs. No weight is read out only how much someone has lost. Each week members take a piece of fruit for slimmer of the week. I won slimmer of the week after just three weeks of being there and losing half a stone the same night. It makes you feel in control and proud to have achieved this.
The weight loss plan is easy to follow with food optimising easily explained with lots of free foods to choose from. The programme is very easy to follow. Choosing one 'A' choice and one 'B' choice along with free foods. Then we have syns they are for foods that contain either fats sugars and have to be counted for. At slimming world we are allowed to have between five and fifteen syns a day; This is to stop us feeling deprived. This is not a diet at all we can still eat what we want, but in moderation. Its about re-educating ourselves.
My weight problems started when I was in my late teens.
I was always the correct weight as a child. However when I started menstruating my body went from a healthy child into an obese child. This was due to a hormone condition that I have had since my teenage years,I tried and tested so many diets over the years, from the cabbage soup diet to weight watchers. I seemed to lose weight for a short period of time and then gaining it all again sadly.
Forward a few years. January 2015 arrived and I decided to do something about my weight once and for all. I have multipal health problems and decided that losing weight may have a slight inpact on my health. As I had tried diets in the past that failed I was convinced that Slimming world would be the same. I knew a few people that did the diet and lost loads of weight.
I woke up once morning and decided to give it a go, what did I have to loose?
My Dad said that he would like to give it a go so we thought it would be a fantastic idea to do it together. I have lost one stone three pounds in seven weeks. I feel more energised more alert and healthier. I no longer feel breathless when walking and hardly have to use my asthma inhaler as much as I used to. I feel fuller for longer and no longer feel tired or sluggish after eating like I once did.
When at goal weight we are encouraged to still attend meetings, this gives other members encouragement to continue and the goal-members ambition to carry through their journey of healthy living. It is a well known fact that when we reach goal weight we live an extra eight to ten years.
To join slimming world it costs £9.95. However Iceland have started doing their own range of Slimming World ready meals. If you go to this section you will find a leaflet that contains a coupon to join for free. Each week it costs £4.95. The support is endless, whether online or by contacting your consultant by phone.
In front of me I have a cardboard box that is red in colour and I am told they are made by Mr Kipling. There is a photograph of the said Cherry Bakewells. Information is given at the front of the box regarding health information within the product.
Each Bakewell weighs eighteen grams. I am pleased to read that these cakes contain no hydrogenerated fat and all the ingredients are natural. Made in Great Britain and history tells me that Mr Kipling comes from Rugby in Warwickshire, however the cakes can be packed at various locations within the Uk.
This product contains gluten and contain eggs.
I am not usually a sweet tooth and very rarely buy cakes or puddings. However I bought these as my best mate and boyfriend love sweet stuff. These are nice to have with a nice cup of tea or coffee or just on their own.
The Bakewells come in a foil cake case. The Bakewells are made of shortcrust pastry at the bottom and have both plum and raspberry jam within the pastry itself. On top of the pastry is sponge followed by royal icing and a cherry. They smell of icing and jam with almond smells in the background.
The cakes are delicious. They melt in your mouth. The texture is soft and you can taste the jam at the bottom along with the pastry and the sponge and icing. They are nice and sweet and are of good quality I say this because in my opinion I believe that Mr Kipling is generous with the filling within the cake.
If I hadn't of bought these from a shop I would have thought they where home made. These have had a thumbs up from Deanne and James who had two each and I had the one!
I will definately be purchasing these again will recommend these to both children and adults.
Available from all good supermarkets for £1.00.
I own a four month old Kitten called Casper. I fed him kitten food up to a week ago as he was off his food. I took him to the vet and they said to try him on adult cat food. I did and ever since he has been eating everything in site.
Comes in a small can with the Kitekat logo seen at the top. There is a picture of a ginger cat on the front.
Nutritional information is given and the daily amount are shown, please see below for information.
Within a twenty four hour period feed your cat the following:
For a 4 kg cat one third or 25 grams to two thirds equals 208 calories. Each 100 grams is 208 calories.
I was skeptical at first as Casper wasn't eating his food at all. I saw this can of food in my local Asda store in a multipack and thought there was no harm in trying it.
I am thrilled to tell you that Casper loves this food and has eaten a full tin of it so far.
The food he has tried is the white fish variety and he simply loves it.
The food is white fish in jelly and comes in meaty chunks. It contains animal derivatives and smells like it says on the tin of fish.
I am so over joyed to learn that Kitekat contains no preservatives flavours or colours. I like to feed my cat a good quality food that I know is healthy.
I feed Casper three times a day as he is four months old and a can lasts me a day and a half.
I recommend this food for all cats as it is good quality and my kitty adores it.
I purchased my multipack of six from my local Asda store for £2.89 excellent value.
One of my pet hates in life is washing up. There is no escaping it in any household.
Just recently I have had my best mate Deanne and her daughter Savannah staying with me, as I usually live alone. Being three of us in the house there is more washing up than when I am on my own.
In am currently on a money saving initiative as just lately I have had loads to pay out on one thing or another. I did my last weekly shop in Iceland an spotted this washing up liquid for the bargain price of 89p for a huge bottle.
Comes in a 675 ml plastic bottle. The Cussons logo is shown at the top. the bottle I am reviewing contains 50% extra free making it a real bargain. There is a picture of a dandelion the front and it tells us that it adds extra sparkle and has the original fragrance smell to it.
The washing up liquid smells of citrus fruits, with a hint of wood notes, the liquid is green in colour.
I simply add a small squirt of the liquid in a bowl and add hot water. I always was my glasses and cups first and then more heavy soiled items. I hardly have to use any effort as it is very highly concentrated indeed. There are plenty of bubbles. I always rinse my items after, however this is personal preference, you do not have to do this, but can if you wish to.
I usually use fairy as I find it lasts a long time. This product doesn't last as long as fairy although it does cut through grease and grime as it describes on the bottle.
I cooked pork chops the other day for us and it cleaned the oven dish with ease. My cut glass tumblers shine like a diamond with this. I use this to clean my stainless steel kitchen sink leaving it shiny and stain free. I have also cleaned my bath with it when I ran out of bathroom cleaner the other day, it looked so shiny and cleaned it with ease.
I will definitely be buying this product again with no shadow of a doubt.
Available from all good super markets for under £1.00
I can remember as a youngster my Mum owning a a lot of Avon products, whether it was eye shadow and lipsticks or mascara. I never gave Avon any thought until recently, when a Avon Rep started visited my street I had a good look through the books and decided to give a few products a go as Mum always said how good they are.
I wish I hadn't bothered to be totally honest as every product I have had lately has been of very bad quality indeed. However I will say I have liked their perfume and bath products. Make-up is a no go!
This eye shadow comes in a liquid form, that separates itself; clear liquid one end and the colour the other. You simply shake the product to mix the colour. The colour is have is called 'Glistening Teal'.
I chose this colour as I have brown eyes and thought green would make them stand out. I wanted something that would be the easiest to apply as possible leaving no mess. I have started to go out with friends a lot more lately and like to look nice and bought this to wear for a night out. I was wearing a black dress at the time and thought the colour would look nice with black.
I use foundation first followed by press powder and then use eye liner on my lower eye lid before applying the eyeshadow. The liquid is as a liquid however I feel is rather too runny and watery. I could hardly see the colour until I applied it.
I shook it and used it on my lower lid and at first I though that it looked good. The applicator has a sponge on the end to apply it to your eye. I waited until a few minutes passed and it started smearing all over my eyes making it look like I had done ten rounds with Mike Tyson. I looked such a mess that I had to remove it and wear another eye shadow in it's place.
This stuff is horrible and a waste of money. I am very surprised that fellow reviews have given this product such a high rating to be honest with you.
I paid £3.99 and believe me won't be again.
At my age I appreciate good quality product whether it is make up or clothes. I like to feel and look good, without breaking the bank so to speak. I wear false nails daily to try and break the ghastly habit of nail biting. I have been wearing them for almost a year now and if I don't wear them I feel undressed!
Comes in metallic silver rectangle box with the Avon logo clearly seen and it tells us that it is the 'Color Trend' version of their nail colour. I purchased two polishes from this range as they were on offer for just 99 p in the sale book. The ones I bought are Vixon which is like a cerise pink and natural girl that is a natural colour but to me it is more like a nude colour.
I have a regular Avon Representative who visits my home a couple of times a month, my best mate Deanne always places a order from her too. Deanne purchased the colour trend nail polish but in a different colour, she didn't like it either.
This has got to be the worst nail varnish I have ever used in my entire life. I started off as always by firstly applying base coat. I then applied the colour it was very runny indeed and took forever to dry. I had to keep applying several layers as it was looking very streaky. Another complaint I have is that the wand is far too thin and sticking to the three stroke rule is just a no go to be honest as applying this is awful. After applying it and it dried taking an hour in actual fact it chipped very badly and I had to remove the whole lot the next day as it looked so ghastly and unsightly.
Deanne and I won't ever entertain our nails with it again. Steer well clear of this product as you will be wasting your money.
I am now the proud owner of a eight week old kitten called 'Casper'. My best mate bred him and he is the image of his Daddy 'Splodge', I have written reviews on his Dad in the past.
We believe 'Casper' and his litter mates where born a little premature ( we have no proof);hence why I purchased his cat milk with the intentions of building him up and to give him all the vitamins and minerals he needs.
Comes in a pink cardboard box that has a picture of a cat at the top and the box being pink in colour. There is also a picture of milk being poured into a bowl.
Each bottle contains 200 ml of milk or 600ml for the three.
It informs us that it is low in lactose, contains calcium and vitamins, it contains milk and milk derivatives and derivatives of vegetable origin. for your cats daily needs.
The milk is suitable for cats from six weeks and right through adulthood. Each bottle is plastic with a pink top on it. You simply shake well before each use unscrew the top and you will find a pink foil seal, simply un peel it and you will be able to pour the milk.
Each bottle of milk contains four servings, being good value for money. The milk looks like evaporated milk that you get in a tin. It smells awful like gone off cheese, however they do say animals like foal smelling things!
One bottle can be stored in the fridge for four days once opened.
I have noticed that once I give him his milk it goes off after a couple of hours and I have to disguard of what he hasn't finished in his dish. However the rest of the milk stays fresh for four days as it states on the packaging.
Casper likes the milk, he doesn't finish it all in one sitting yet as he is only eight weeks old. I tend to give him the milk after his meals as if I don't he doesn't eat his food as he is obviously full from drinking milk. I have a had Casper a week now and have noticed his coat and vitality has improved since having this milk.
Always make sure water is still available to your pet/pets as this is classed as a complementary food stuff and not a drink. I do believe that £2.50 is rather a lot for the size of the bottles that is what I paid. I have however noticed they are selling this for 69 pence a bottle in my local B and M store, if any of you are interested in that information.
More informations can be found on their website:
They also have a customer care line: 0800 0648484. for general enquirers or advice on this product.
I would definitely recommend this product, the only issue I have is like I said earlier is it going off quick so just give your pet what you think it will consume straight away.
Available from all good super markets and pet shops for around £2.50 for the three bottle multi pack.
