      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Don't bother!

A few weeks ago I got a chance to watch first season of an adult-orientated TV comedy drama Hung. The title hooked me! On the other hand I am not very fussy when I watch series and not a film, so this time also expected to have a good time in front of TV.

      PLOT

Ray Drecker used to be a star athlete, now a school coach trying to change his life. He has two kids who live with their remarried mother. When fire destroys Ray's home, he doesn't know where to get money. Then his friend, actually ex lover Tanya comes up with an idea that he has one very valuable thing - large penis. So they start a business - "Happiness Consultants": Ray becomes a male prostitute and Tanya - his pimp, intensively searching for unhappy women.

      MY THOUGHTS

I was very intrigued by the title of these TV series so was really looking forward to watching the Hung. All series begin with a view of a man who is walking and undressing until he reaches a lake and jumps into water... I thought if the beginning is like this what will be going on after that?.. But actually was quite disappointed by Hung as expected it to be funnier, more exciting and fun. Yes there were scenes of nudity, sex, drinking which distract you a little bit. That's what these series should be about according to the title. But instead you have follow a man trying to do something with his life not just for himself but also for his children who live with their mother.

Well I was feeling sorry for Ray Drecker. As it hard to lose everything and to realize you have no special abilities. Thoughl appeared he had one special gift so chose to live double life...

I think the idea of Hung is quite good but series were cheap and disappointing. None of the characters had much of charizma, you get lost in the idea of series. I would expect it to be a normal drama about a man who lost everything or a sexy comedy about a man able to satisfy women. Both these ideas didn't work for me.

      OVERALL

I would give Hung 1 series only 3 stars out of 5 and wouldn't recommend. There are better films and series to watch. I finished watching that season but won't watch the second. Don't wanna waste my time. And I was so surprised to find out that this year series 3 are gonna be filmed.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Useful thing!!!

In June we have rented a detached bungalow. Life seemed perfect until we noticed mould and dampness. It was summer but nothing helped. So after some considerations we decided to buy a dehumidifier which would reduce humidity in the air and prevent damage of dampness in the house. There so much dehumidifiers to choose from so it was a real challenge. But we knew we didn't have much money to spend so first place we visited - Argos. We compared features, prices and bought Argos Value 10 Litre Dehumidifier.

        PACKAGING

The Dehumidifier comes in packaging similar to all Argos Value products: light blue and white cardboard box which included the dehumidifier and a user guide.

I usually don't browse user guides if it is obvious how to use an item. Didn't read it this time as well... It's good my boyfriend browsed it as it had some useful information: after turning off, it should be turned on only after a few minutes; it can't be laid on side or kept upside down; for best results doors and windows should be kept closed in the room when dehumidifier is in use; designed for indoor use only!.

        DEHUMIDIFIER

Argos Value Dehumidifier is a quite big white plastic rectangular shape unit, measuring 55 x 16 x 28 cm. It has ventilation type slots at the front and a folding handle for carrying on top. An easily removable plastic tank of 2 litres capacity with a visible water level is on one side of dehumidifier. There's a very little container hanging in the middle of the tank - firstly drips of water collect in the small container and when it is full water starts dripping into the tank. Wonderful idea because the tank is quite tall and the sound of continuously dripping water would be unbearable. While now water drips only half of that height so it's not very irritating. Also the dehumidifier has a removable filter, tank full indicator, 1 speed setting and can remove up to 10 litres moisture per day. It's weight - 7.5 kg. Pretty heavy, especially if you have to carry it upstairs or downstairs...

Argos Value Dehumidifier itself looks pretty good and well made though I didn't expect that from Argos Value range. On the other hand it's a quite big block of plastic so needs space for storage.

The only problem I noticed about our dehumidifier - length of cord. It is really too short. In our previous house there weren't many sockets in each room so often I had to use an extension cord...

        HOW TO USE

It is very easy to operate a dehumidifier as it has an On/ Off switch, green LED shows the unit is in operation, while blue LED will show that water tank is full and the unit stops working. So, you simply place the dehumidifier in a room you want to remove moisture from, close doors and windows, plug it in, turn it on and that's it! You may use it only for a couple of hours or during day and night. That depends on dampness in the house. Our house was very damp but we used the dehumidifier only during the day (a couple of hours in each room).

One important thing to remember - dehumidifier can't be placed close to wall when in operation. You must leave at least 20cm space around dehumidifier for air to circulate.

        MOISTURE EXTRACTION

It was stated that this dehumidifier can remove up 10 litres moisture per day. Well as we didn't use it for 24 hours I couldn't check if it would really do that. But I can assure you that this Argos Value Dehumidifier extracted moisture very well.

The day we bought our dehumidifier we kept it in our kitchen just for about an hour - were very curious to see if any moisture will be in the tank. And we found a few hundred mils of water. Pretty impressive! We continued using dehumidifier almost every day, especially when drying clothes at home. And every time there were plenty of water in the tank. Dampness was still in the house but it wasn't that bad. Windows weren't very wet in mornings, mould wasn't reappearing so fast. But we were using dehumidifier every single day, at least for a few hours.

Another thing I noticed that if I left dehumidifier near airer with freshly laundered clothes on it, clothes have been drying much faster than those that were left in another room. I thought it was such a useful thing in autumn and winter when you can't dry laundry outside and all moisture is collected straight away.

        NOISE

After reading many reviews before buying a dehumidifier, I knew they were noisy. So on one hand I was worried as love silence at night, on the other hand I thought I wouldn't use it during night. And now I can say that our Argos Value Dehumidifier is a little noisy in operation - we have to make TV louder if dehumidifier is in the living room, but it is not such a huge problem as usually when we watch TV I leave dehumidifier in another room or turn it off going to bed.

        EMPTYING AND CLEANING

It is very easy to look after this Argos Value Dehumidifier! To empty it - you simply pull out the water tank and pour water into the toilet or sink. As water tank is removed very easily I never spilled any water on the floor while some people had that problem with other dehumidifiers.

To keep my dehumidifier clean, I use wet wipes, sometimes rinse the water tank with soap. A removable dust filter should be washed sometimes as well. But we haven't washed ours yet as it is still clean.

        PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Argos Value 10 Litre Dehumidifier is Argos own brand product. So you may buy them from all Argos stores or Argos website. Usual price - £79.99 but very often they are on promotions so before buying wait for a price drop unless you urgently need a dehumidifier. Anyway this 10 litres Dehumidifier is the cheapest on market comparing with others that have similar features: another Argos Value Range 10 litres Dehumidifier costs £89.99 and Delonghi 10 litres Dehumidifier costs £130.

        IS IT EXPENSIVE TO USE???

We have our Dehumidifier for a while now. Still working and worth every pound we have spent. But let's not forget that dehumidifiers use electricity so they are not cheap to operate. Our Dehumidifier uses 260W of electricity, so to run it for 24 hours would cost around 65-70 pence per day. As we never used it for that long, I didn't notice big increase in electricity consumption. Though was scared first that using a Dehumidifier will be extremely expensive.

        OVERALL

We are very pleased with this Argos Value Dehumidifier as it really solved our problems. Yes, it is noisy but does it's job very well, is easy to use, doesn't use too much electricity. And I am happy we chose this cheapest unit from Argos - it is such a good value for money!

5 stars out of 5 and best recommendations from me!

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Worth every penny you spend!

Sometimes I decide to eat more healthy food and buy products that I try only once. But a few weeks ago in my local SuperValu I noticed new crispbread so bought one packet to try. Loved them so bought more from Sainsbury's. They are Real Foods Corn Thins Original.

          ABOUT REAL FOODS

Real Foods is an Australian, family operated company invented in 1980 by Michael Pels. They produce and sell popped-grain crispbread. The company is based in Sydney, Australia and employs 100 people. They started producing rice cakes but have been continuously developing and improving the whole production process. From 1985 they have been manufacturing and developing their own rice cake machines. And in 1996 the new product line - Corn Thins, a natural, low fat crispbread made from popped corn, was launched. It was an especially successful product which started competing with similar products made by larger Australian and International companies. Now Corn Thins produced by Real Foods are the best sold crispbread in Australia!
For a few years Real Foods were consolidating in Australian market. But in 1999 they started exporting to New Zealand, a bit later to South Africa, United States, Canada, UK, Israel, Hong Kong, Korea and the United Arab Emirates.

          CORN THINS

This is how Real Foods present their Corn Thins Original on packaging: "Real Foods Corn Thins are the best tasting wholegrain crispbread you can buy. Made with a great recipe for maximum crunch and flavour, they taste sensational on their own or with any number of delicious toppings. Our Original Corn Thins are made simply by popping grains of maize under high temperature. With more dietary fibre per gram than wholemeal bread, and 85% less fat than the leading brands of corn chips, Real Foods Corn Thins really are good for you."
Produced in these varieties: Original, Sesame, Cracked Pepper & Lemon, Soy & Linseed, Multigrain, BBQ flavoured, Tasty Cheese flavoured, Sour Cream & Chives flavoured, Feta & Sun dried Tomato flavoured and also Rice Thins.

          WHY I BOUGHT THEM

There are a few reasons why I chose Real Foods Corn Thins Original:
          - Saw them for the first time in our SuperValu.
          - I was looking for something healthy and low-fat. And this crispbread sounded great: 97% fat free, gluten free, high in fibre (10% dietary fibre), GMO free, no added sugar, no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives!
          - Corn Thins are new and different as usually you buy rice cakes and these were made from popped corn.
          - Simple curiosity because they were called "Thins".

          PACKAGING

Each Real Foods Crisp Thins packet comes in double packaging: cellophane bag with a resealable plastic closure and a sealed foil bag with crispbread inside. Outer cellophane bag is coloured with yellow and blue stripes, there are pics of corn grains and of a Corn Thin with a topping on it. All product and nutritional information is placed on the back of the packaging.

I especially liked that closure to keep crispbread fresh and crispy. I've never seen a closure like this before, so I'm keeping them from each packet of Corn Thins and use for bread bags!

          APPEARANCE AND TASTE

After opening the foil packaging I finally saw the Corn Thins. They are of perfect circular shape and look almost like usual rice cakes but the colour is yellowish with some brown pieces. Diameter of a Corn Thin is 9 cm, thickness - 4 mm and that's the main difference from other similar crispbread. I counted Thins in one packet - there were 25 of them. A lot I would say, especially if you manage to eat let's say only 2 slices at once.

None of the Corn Thins were broken and looked tempting. So, FIRST BITE! The crispbread was very crunchy, crispy and tasty. It was actually a little bit harder than a rice cake, but that's what I like about Corn Thins. They also don't crumble that much while eating so you don't make a mess of yourself.

After eating a few packets of Real Foods Corn Thins I may say they are more fulfilling than rice cakes. A few slices (especially with topping) are enough for me. Unless I'm watching TV and need to nibble something... Then I can't stop eating them as they are so tasty! I like that crunchiness and as this crispbread is so thin, the bag empties slowly than if eating standard size rice cakes. So sometimes you don't feel you've eaten quite many slices! On the other hand each packet of Corn Thins lasts much longer for you as you get twice as many slices comparing to usual thick crispbread.

Often I eat crispbread on it's own but Real Foods Corn Thins are so convenient to eat with toppings on as they are thin. You don't have to open your mouth as wide as can to bite some. That's a big plus for Corn Thins from me because I like to put so many stuff on a sandwich or crispbread that usually it is difficult to eat. Now I can add what I want and not bother if I'll be able to bite some without having half of topping on my plate or knees!

And if you have no idea what toppings to put on, don't worry as Real Foods website offers recipe ideas. You may choose from a few sections: Deliciously Light, Vegetarian toppings, Sweet toppings or you may send your recipe idea to Real Foods! I usually eat Corn Thins instead of bread so top them with anything I can find in a fridge. But it is always great to know that Real Foods not only make a product but care for a customer! They even offer a few serving suggestions on the back of the packaging. For example, Original Corn Thins are delicious with grilled mushrooms, spinach and grated parmesan cheese or with baked sliced ham, swiss cheese and honey mustard. Sounds fantastic!

My little girl also loves Corn Thins. They are very convenient to hold in her little hands, tasty and healthy (high in fibre, made from natural ingredients, no added sugar, artificial preservatives or colours)!

          ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Caution: Do not heat in toaster! Closure may be a choking hazard!

          INGREDIENTS

Maize (99%), Sunflower Oil, Sea Salt.

Sunflower Oil is one of ingredients so don't buy this crispbread if you are allergic!!!

          NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

          Adviced serving size is 2 slices (12g). So typical values per serving: Energy - 192kj/ 46kcal, Protein - 1.2g, Carbohydrate - 8.5g of which sugars - 0.04g, Fat - 0.4g, of which saturates - 0.06g, Dietary Fibre - 1.2g, Sodium - 31 mg, Potassium - 14mg.

          PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

I bought Real Foods Corn Thins Original from SuperValu and Sainsbury's but price was the same - £1.09. Very good price for 25 slices of delicious crispbread I may say. The only thing I dislike - limited availability of Corn Thins varieties at shops. I have already mentioned that Real Foods offer 9 varieties of Corn Thins but as they are Australian company only a few varieties available in UK: Tesco - Original, Sainsbury's - Original and Cracked Pepper & Lemon, Waitrose - Original, Organic with Sesame, Cracked Pepper & Lemon.

          OVERALL

Without any doubts I give Real Foods Corn Thins Original 5 stars out of 5! They are of high quality, taste great, so healthy and so affordable!

I really hope supermarkets will offer all varieties of Corn Thins in near future.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Very well spent money!

A few years ago we were looking for furniture for a flat in Lithuania. In one shop we saw some strange armchairs-chairs but they were so comfortable. Anyway we didn't buy them because of high price but kept on thinking to buy something like that some day. When we first went to Ikea here in NI and saw plenty of those armchairs - POANGS, we knew that quickly we were gonna get one! And we did! For a while already we have a POANG with a footstool from Ikea!

            WHAT IS IT

A POANG is an armchair which consists of a wooden frame and a fabric or leather cushion with a headrest. Available designs: armchair, lounger, swivel armchair, rocking-chair.

All POANG prices in Ikea were clearly stated but You actually buy a frame and a cushion.

Layer-glued and bent frame can be made of beech, birch or oak (oak may be coloured brown). Ours is birch so the colour of frame is very light. While the frame allows You fully relax, high back of the frame provides extra support for Your neck. It was noted that a frame can hold a maximum weight of 170 kg.

All covers from cushions are removable and machine washable so it is very easy to keep them clean. There are plenty of cushions' to choose from: black, medium red, natural, multicolour, green, grey, brown, white, black/white. We chose the natural one though we wanted a red one but they were out of stock... And as none of us could wait - needed the POANG that minute - we chose the only option available.

Size of the assembled POANG is: width - 68 cm, depth - 82 cm and height - 100 cm; seat width - 56 cm, seat depth - 50 cm and seat height - 42 cm.

            OUR EXPERIENCE

So the first thing after we returned home was to assemble the POANG. All instructions were very clear and simple and it took my boyfriend just 10 to 15 minutes to assemble the frame. No parts were missing or broken so we just put the cushion on the frame which strongly holds on Velcro tapes (one on the frame, the other one on the cushion). And it was time to try our POANG! It is the most comfortable thing I've ever been sitting on! My boyfriend and friends who visit us admit that it really helps to relax. We also bought a footstool so it is a double pleasure! As when You put foot on footstool it very easy to bounce gently and relax even more.

We have the POANG for a few months already and we love it! Now in evenings we are fighting who's turn is to sit on it! Especially tricky when we have friends in the house because everyone wants to bounce for a while! We all still children deep inside!

            WHY WE LOVE IT

Now I'll review all features that make Ikea POANG so special for us:

            - Easy to assemble. Even I would have done that because not too many parts are included and everything was explained in instructions!

            - Cover is removable and washable. We have a little girl at home who makes a mess everywhere she goes. But I don't need to worry about our natural colour POANG'S cover as I may remove and wash it anytime. Still haven't washed though. A few times our girl managed to get to the fireplace that is not used but anyway a bit dirty. And then left black marks of her fingers on the cushion... I simply cleaned them with a baby wipe. So cover is not just washable but also very easy to clean.

            - Easy to clean frame. First of all clean frame with a damp cloth (may use a mild cleaner), then wipe dry with a clean cloth. Simple!

            - Covers may be dyed. If You need a POANG of some certain colour to match Your room but can't find anything, simply buy natural colour cushions and dye covers. I haven't done that yet as we rent the house and probably will move out after a year, so no particular colour requirements for us. But sometimes I catch myself picking colour for our POANG.

            - Extra cushions available to buy for variation and renewal. Wonderful opportunity to save some cash - to buy a new cushion if Yours is worn or somehow damaged. It is much cheaper than buying an armchair!

            - Size and weight. Comparing with a lot of armchairs POANGS fit in small spaces better. Our sitting room isn't very big so the POANG doesn't take too much space. And as it is lightweight, it is very easy to move it around the room while cleaning or when we have guests. We even use the POANG to block the door to the living room - like those safety gates...

            - Looks tiny but is very strong, stable and well made as I would say all Ikea products are. When I first saw a POANG I thought it would break if You sat on it... Funny even to remember especially now when I read in description that POANGS can hold weight up to 170 kg.

            - Bent frame perfectly matches and supports back while sitting. You can fully lean back and relax as high back of the frame supports Your neck. The cushion has a headrest (small extra cushion on top) for even more comfort but when not needed can be turned over the top of the frame. We leave the headrest where it is as the POANG seems perfectly designed to enjoy sitting and relaxing.

            - The look. I think that POANGS look incredibly stylish but aren't too modern so would fit everyone's home. Doesn't matter if You put one or two POANGS in a living room or conservatory - Your home will look great!

            - You may put something underneath a POANG. Well I put a box with toys. Or during the day when I don't have time for picking all toys I just kick some toys or cushions under the POANG...

            - POANGS would be perfect for breastfeeding. And I am sad that we didn't buy it earlier. It would have been so comfortable to sit and breastfeed a baby or simply take a nap holding her in arms.

WHY WE COULD NOT LOVE IT... (but we do!)

A few disadvantages that we noticed:
            - Very light and easy to move. So my little girl keeps pushing it in the room. And as I have mentioned sometimes we block doors to the living room with POANG but she already learnt to push it away... Very soon when our little girl will have more strength and will push POANG harder, I am sure wall and POANG will have scratches, dents and chips...

            - Size. Though POANGS would fit in a small space better than armchairs be careful because in Ikea it is spacey and they look small, like big chairs I would say. But when we assembled POANG at home it looked bigger that I thought it would be.

            - Smell. Our cushion had a quite strong, unpleasant smell and it lasted for about a week. Now the smell vanished but if You sniffed the cushion You could still feel it.

            PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

POANGS' prices at Ikea vary from easily affordable for everyone - £59 per unit to really expensive ones - £199 per unit (for swivel and rocking armchairs up to £239) and a small identical POANG for children costs £25. We chose the cheapest version - paid £59 (£45 for the frame and £14 for the cushion). Though You may choose what You want. We also bought a matching footstool for £15.99 (£10 for the frame and £5.99 for the footstool cushion).

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Worth to try if You like Lasagne!

I love lasagne but always have been scared to make it myself though I like cooking. But a few months ago at Tesco I noticed Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets. And decided to try to make lasagne!

              PACKAGING

Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets come in a packaging similar to all Tesco Value range: white front with Tesco Value logo, product name in white letters, am image of a piece of lasagne and a foil window which allows You to see the sheets. All nutritional and additional information is stated on the back of the rectangular cardboard box which can be widely recyclable. The packaging didn't look very appealing (just as all Tesco Value products) but the most important thing is what's inside of the box!!!

Wonderful news for those who don't know how to cook lasagne - there is a recipe suggestion on the packaging. It is clearly explained what ingredients to use, how to make sauces, the Lasagne and how long to cook.

              APPEARANCE AND TASTE

As You may see Lasagne Sheets through the foil window, You exactly know what You are buying! The colour of Sheets is yellow/brownish just as of most pastas'. The size - 16 cm x 8 cm. The Sheets are very hard, quite thick and only once I found one broken sheet. All other times they were in perfect condition. As it was mentioned on packaging that this product was made in Italy, it was obvious Sheets were of the highest quality!

In each box I found 13 Lasagne sheets (250 g). First I was irritated a bit as I have been using 12 Sheets per Lasagne (4 layers of 3 sheets) so I always had one spare sheet that I didn't have where to storage. But now each third time I put 5 layers - make a super big Lasagne! Or if You were unlucky to find a Sheet badly broken - You didn't have to worry as there's always one extra Sheet in a box.

My oven proof dish is a bit bigger than 3 pasta Sheets that I use for a layer. I was thinking to break one sheet into small pieces and to cover the dish evenly. But Sheets are so hard! It was almost mission impossible... So I gave up same minute and simply put sheets leaving even spaces among sheets and dish sides. It appeared that pasta absorbed liquid and sheets got slightly bigger while cooking. So there are no reasons to worry if Sheets don't cover Your dish perfectly!

The most off putting thing about lasagne to me seemed pre-cooking of Sheets. But these Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets can be used straight from the box. I of course didn't bother to boil them. Why to waste time and energy??? But if You want to pre-cook sheets, add sheets to the boiling, salted water, when water starts to boil again, cook for 10 mins, then drain and immediately make Lasagne.

First time I was actually worried about those uncooked pasta Sheets. But I simply made a bit watery meat sauce that pasta could absorb liquid and would be soft after cooking. Cooked in preheated oven with a fan to 175° for about 30-35 mins. And it really worked! I made Lasagne more than 10 times already with Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets now. And every time it was a pleasure to eat my lasagne as it tasted great, sheets were soft and thick. Well once we were in a hurry so I cooked Lasagne in a hotter oven that usually and for an eventually shorter time (. Then sheets were a bit hard but half of Lasagne was left for tomorrow and then it tasted better as pasta has softened.

              INGREDIENTS AND ALERGY INFORMATION

Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets are made from Wheat Semolina so contain Wheat and Gluten - avoid if You are allergic!

              NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

Real bargain comparing with other Lasagne sheets available to buy as for example Tesco Lasagne 500g costs - £0.91, Napolina Lasagne Egg Pasta 375g - £0.92, De Cecco Egg Lasagne 500g - £1.64.

              OVERALL

I think Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets are a fantastic product. They are easy and quick to prepare, taste good and so cheap! I am really happy with the product so will continue buying it in the future and recommend You to try! I don't see any reasons why You should pay more?!
5 stars out of 5 to Tesco Value Lasagne Sheets!

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                Fun! Fun! Fun!

I always thought Teletubbies were such a misunderstanding and nonsense. But when I was pregnant a few my friends started telling me about toys and TV characters their kids liked. Of course they talked about Teletubbies too. I didn't know any of them. My friends just laughed at me and said that soon I'll know everything about Teletubbies...

They were right. My little girl likes Teletubbies very much!!! And of course I know all Teletubbies' by names now. So a few months ago I bought her Tomy Dance with Me Teletubby Po!

                THE TELETUBBY

Dance with Me Teletubbies are very realistic and cute toys that play music and dance, suitable for babies from 12 months old. Available all 4 characters: Tinky Winky - purple, Dipsy - green, Laa Laa - yellow, Po - red.

Our Teletubby Po is 32 cm height (40 cm with the antenna), made of red fur with brown plastic face. There's a shiny rectangular on Po's tummy. Soles' of his feet are also plastic. There are batteries compartments in each sole (4 AA batteries in total - were included with toy). On/Off button is placed on right sole.
When You squeeze Teletubby's hands, he features two dancing modes:
                - Dance Along mode - Po blinks and jiggles while dancing,
                - Musical Statues mode - children can join and play musical statues with Po.
Also If You knock over the Teletubby, it makes a "parp" sound and when You pick it up it makes a happy and funny "whee" sound!

                OUR EXPERIENCE

I was very excited to unpack the Teletubby Po I bought and to see my daughter's reaction. Expected her to be very happy as she loves watching Teletubbies on TV or DVD so much!

My little girl was very excited to see Po but was a bit scared to touch it. Just watched the Teletubby from a distance, smiled and squealed from excitement. Then I squeezed Po's hand - music started playing and the Teletubby started dancing. My daughter was a little bit taken aback as the music was quite loud. And there is no volume control. So for a few days I wasn't sure if this toy could become my girl's favourite or not.

But after a few days I noticed that my daughter got completely used to the Teletubby. She started playing with it more often, danced together with it, knocked it over and picked it up to hear those funny "parp", "whee" and jiggles. Though it's a pity that my daughter can't make Po to dance as You need to press it's palm. While my girl sees me pressing it and tries to repeat what I do but she presses just the hand or arm and gets frustrated. So I need to be near and to help her every time.

The toy itself is very cute, soft to touch, cuddly, the colour is bright red so really attracts my girl's attention. I am really satisfied with Teletubby's quality. It is really well made and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice toy. Simply because those Teletubbies on TV don't look very attractive but even I like our Po!!! Just would be great if these Teletubbies had a volume control button as music is really loud and so sometimes becomes irritating. It would love to lower the volume but I can't... And our princess all happy dances with the toy... But I like the voice that was chosen for jiggles and other sounds. Though it is loud, it is pleasant to listen. Sometimes even makes me to smile!

Another thing I like about Po is it's antenna. It is round with a hole in the middle and so very convenient for our girl to lift it up or to carry with her. She of course takes Po everywhere and very often it is dropped or falls from somewhere... A few days ago it stopped dancing... Melody begins, then we used to hear a strange "click" and silence... Couldn't believe it was the end of our Teletubby so continued squeezing Po's hands and moving it's arms. After a while it started dancing again!!! And still is dancing for a few months already so I think these Teletubbies are made according to high standards.

The only problem about this toy is that it can't be washed. Only outer material can be washed but it can't be taken off so it is a bit problematic knowing what a mess children can make... I would be really glad if our Po could be somehow undressed. Well it is still clean but anyway from time to time all soft toys need washing. So I started thinking what will I do with this one????

                PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

All these Tomy Dance with Me Teletubbies are widely available from all toy shops and online toy retailers. Well they are a bit pricey though... Price of a New Dance with Me Teletubby varies from around £32 to £46. Of course You may buy a cheaper used one from Ebay or Amazon. It's up to You to decide. But it is really risky to buy such an expensive toy for a child when You don't know whether Your child is gonna like it or not... Well I risked and I am so happy I did!

                OVERALL

I think Tomy Dance with Me Teletubbies are amazing toys! Grown ups may not like them but children will love them as Teletubbies are really made for kids!!! Wonderful toys as they are bright, funny, play music, dance... My chosen Po character really made my girl happy so I recommend it for everyone who is looking for a great toy!

5 stars out of 5 to Po and all Dance with me Teletubbies!

If You need more information about Teletubbies or other Tomy products check www.tomy.co.uk.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

If You are brave enough - it's a perfect product!

In June we moved into a house with front and rear gardens. I especially loved the house and had ideas of growing some vegetables for us. But it appeared we were not only ones enjoying my plants... Slugs and snails were everywhere eating everything. All my enthusiasm about gardening disappeared. Anyway we visited B&Q and I bought B&Q Slug Killer Blue Mini Pellets to protect what was still left...

                  WHAT IS IT

B&Q Slug Killer Blue Mini Pellets - pesticide for slugs and snails control in home gardens.

These Mini Pellets come in a quite large white plastic container with a light green label around all container. In the front there's an image of a slug and at the bottom in khaki colored part there's product title and short description. Back of the label contains all safety information and instructions for use. The container has a safety cap!

Pellets are of bright blue colour and very small.

                  HOW TO USE

WHEN: best results if used on a warm, damp evening but not just before rain.

WHERE: for use only at a home garden! Can be used around all plants (edible or non-edible, planted outside or in pots) but pellets must be used carefully - not put or left on leaves!!!

HOW: pellets should be sprinkled evenly and thinly - not piled into heaps. Put 1.5g or around 65 pellets per square meter. Wash hands afterwards!

                  SAFETY INFORMATION

Product contains Metaldehyde so may kill if eaten. Must be kept away from children and pets! If swallowed, medical help needed immediately!!!

Pellets must be safely kept in tightly closed original container.

                  USING THE PELLETS

So, next day after I bought the B&Q Slug Killer Blue Mini Pellets, read instructions and stepped into my "lovely" garden for a rescue operation. I knew that for birds these pellets wouldn't be attractive and so dangerous because of bright colour. We also don't have any pets. And the most important thing - our girl was very small and didn't walk so there was no danger for her as she simply didn't get into that garden. Though if my daughter was bigger I wouldn't risk to use such a chemical.

I sprinkled pellets around all pots and all other areas that slugs and snails were attacking. Tried to do everything faster as possible... It wasn't a pleasant but easy job to do though... On the other hand it seemed funny that instructions advised to put around 65 pellets per square meter. Who would count them??? They are so small!

                  RESULTS!!!

Next morning after feeding my little girl I went into the garden... AND WAS SHOCKED!!! The good way and the bad way at the same time...

There were so many slugs and snails around those pots and areas where I sprinkled the pellets. Some were dead, some were trying to get away, some were still eating pellets. That view made me sick...But non of my plants were touched. I kind of got what I wanted: saved my plants but couldn't eat anything that was grown as I immediately saw those dying snails and slugs... Horrible to remember...

Another disgusting thing was when in the afternoon the sun started to shine and flies appeared... I just couldn't make myself to go and collect these slugs... It was really horrible... Thanks to my boyfriend somehow managed to get rid of them. But I still remember that my friend used similar pellets in Sweden near strawberry plants. And she said that all slugs and snails used to get away to die. Actually that was the reason I bought B&Q Slug Killer Blue Mini Pellets. But somehow UK slugs died where they were eating...

                  PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

I bought this pesticide from B&Q shop for £2.28. But B&Q Slug Killer Mini Pellets are widely available from a lot of online DIY retailers so the price may vary. Anyway £2.28 for 800g of these pellets is a really good price because the container is gonna last long time (mine will last ages as I can't think of gardening anymore). Well, unless You have a huge garden.

                  OVERALL

I am confused to recommend these B&Q Slug Killer Blue Mini Pellets or not. If you are strong enough - go on because they are really working. Otherwise - You'll be disgusted just as me.

Anyway, as the product effectively does what it has to do, I give it 4 stars out of 5. Minus 1 star for those horrible views...

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

                    Disadvantages

                    Helps You feel better!

It was Indian summer outside... I was waiting for it but my little girl and myself got sick so were sitting at home and enjoying sunshine through the window. Well, I was more or less all right but was worried about my daughter as she is so small and I can't give her paracetamol, garlic or lemon with honey as I use them now myself. But remembered that my Health Visitor once advised me to buy a vaporiser for a baby if she is gonna have cold. So visited my local chemist and bought Olbas Vaporiser.

                    OLBAS

Olbas is a company offering "The Power to Breathe for the Whole Family". They use a special mixture of pure plant oils, including clove oil, eucalyptus, juniper berry and cajaput. - Olbas Inhaler,

Olbas Vaporiser is a white, plastic unit with a small fan which fills air with natural, soothing vapours. It is perfect for clear and easy breathing around the home as it is battery operated. If You want maximum effect, keep windows and doors closed. Always keep out of reach of small children.

Contains a blend of essential oils: Eucalyptus; Dementholised Mint; Cajaput, Levomenthol and Juniper.

                    PACKAGING

Olbas Vaporiser comes in a quadrangular cardboard box with a small plastic foil window at the front through which You can see a Vaporiser unit. The top half of the box is orange with product name written in white. The other part of the box is coloured light and dark green and contains all information about a product and instructions how to use it.

                    The box includes:
                    - Vaporiser Unit,
                    - 2 AAA batteries,
                    - 3 refills.

                    HOW TO USE

As I bought a Vaporiser for the first time, I had no clue no clue how to make it work but all instructions were clearly stated on the box, so I simply had to follow them:

                    1. Remove the front of the unit,
                    2. Insert supplied batteries,
                    3. Tear the foil pouch to expose the refill,
                    4. Insert the refill into the slots inside the unit. Make sure that the refill is placed with the grid facing down.
                    5. Replace the front of the unit ensuring it clips into place.
                    6. Switch the unit on (a button at the back of the unit).
It took me just a few minutes to prepare Olbas Vaporiser for use.

                    DOES IT WORK?

After the Vaporiser was ready, I left it in our bedroom but didn't turn it on. I could feel the smell of oils but only being close to the Vaporiser. After about an hour I put our little girl for a nap and turned it on. I was desperately wondering if it was gonna work??!! During the day my girl and myself felt better. The worst part going to sleep as then it was most difficult to breath, our noses were stuck. So, as the Vaporiser was turned on I could immediately smell the vapours spreading in the room. It was a mixture of eucalyptus and menthol and was quite strong. So I was glad that I didn't close the door to the room though instructions advised to keep the door and windows closed for best results. I staid with my girl for a while and really felt the difference: my nose was clearing and it became so easy to breath, my daughter also started breathing silently and steadily. She slept for longer than an hour and it was obvious that Olbas Vaporiser was working.

Later that night when we all were going to sleep I again turned the Vaporiser on and left it working all night. Sometimes the smell seemed too strong, I wanted to turn it off but didn't as it was so easy to breath. My baby slept through all night without waking up though her nose was runny and stuck all day. It was easy to breath for me. So I may call Olbas Varporiser a miracle as it was so effective!

Next day I was surprised that my girl was feeling OK - her nose wasn't stuck or runny any more. So the Vaporiser with those natural oils not only helped her to sleep better but also curried her. Well, my nose was still runny...

I turned the Vaporiser on again next day again but I could barely smell vapours. So - one refill lasted one evening and night. Just as it was stated on the packaging that each refill lasts for up to 16 hours. We used the second refill too but didn't need the third one that was included. But while being more seriously sick I think You would need 3-5 refills. Also it depends if You used it all day long or only during the night.

                    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Olbas Vaporiser must be used only with Olbas Vaporiser refills which can be purchased separately. But I decided to buy Olbas Oil and will try to use it with the refills. It would be cheaper but as effective as with new Olbas refills I think. Another my idea is to use this Vaporiser everyday - to drip a few drops of some great smelling oils on the refill. Rooms would smell nice and there will be no need to buy different units for different occasions.

                    PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

I bought Olbas Vaporiser from my local chemist for £5.99 and refills were available too: a box of 4 refills - £3.29. It is not that cheap I thought when I bought the unit but as it worked, I think I would pay even more. Olbas products are available from main chemists and online retailers and prices are similar to what I paid. But Olbas website redirected me to this online retailer: http://www.yourhealthfoodstore.co.uk. I was shocked because of the difference in prices as Olbas Vaporiser was available for £3.49 and a box of refills for £1.49. They offer free delivery on all orders over £9.95. Real bargain!!!

                    OVERALL

I think Olbas Vaporiser is a extremely wonderful and useful product for everyone. Especially now when it is so easy to get a cold. Without any doubts I recommend You this product and give it 5 stars out of 5!

                      Advantages

                      Disadvantages

                      Great idea!!!

A few months ago we were looking for a present for my boyfriend's friend. Well my friend too. It took us ages to choose something special. But finally we ordered the Good Book from Suck UK online shop.

                      WHAT IS IT?

The Good Book is a unique gift which contains a 114 ml (4oz) Stainless Steel Hip Flask cleverly concealed in a hardback book. Available another design - "Dear Diary" which suitable just for a woman.

The Good Book's hardback is brown with the title, a cross and some ornaments in gold. It is not a large book, dimensions: 145 x 100 x 30 mm. When You open the Book there is an inside cover where You can write a greeting, compliment or some birthday wishes. After You turn the cover page, You see a flask concealed within a cut out section inside the pages. All pages are blank of a bit yellowish colour.

                      PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

We bought the Good Book for £15 from suck.uk.com online shop. But it is available to buy from a lot of online retailers. Price varies from about £10 plus delivery charges. So it wasn't too expensive to me to buy the Book directly from suck.uk.com as their prices include postage expenses. Though it is always possible to find a good deal after some searching!

                      MY OPINION

We bought the Good Book as a birthday gift for a guy. When we received the packed and unpacked it, we found a rather small book with a hardcover which actually looked like a real bible!!! Mainly because of that golden cross on the cover. The Book itself was very well made so would look nice on a shelf.

Inside of the Book we found a stainless steel flask. The flask design is very simple and it doesn't look too nice. I think the best thing is to engrave it. It would look much better. Anyway without engraving flask doesn't look too bad knowing the price... Also I think it would be great if it was sold readily filled with some kind of drink as the flask is empty now. Of course, You may fill it before giving it as a present or leave it empty for the recipient to fill it with his favourite drink.

As we received the Good Book a few hours before the birthday party, we gift wrapped it as it was: no engravings and empty. Before giving the present to the birthday guy we wished him to start looking connection with God. He was kind of surprised to hear that and slowly unwrapped the present. You should have seen everyone's faces!!! That was amazing! Everyone believed we bought a BIBLE. And everyone burst out laughing when they saw a flask inside. Everyone was relieved... Later the birthday guy said he was shocked to see the BIBLE, especially from us...

                      OVERALL

I can say that Suck UK Good Book is really a perfect present when You want to make somebody to smile! Though it is not just for a laugh. The book will look good on a shelf and the flask may be useful on so many occasions (it's cold so take it going for a walk or football match or simply enjoy a drink with a cup of tea at home in front of a fireplace)! You just have to remember to fill it up! And no one will decide to look for a drink in a book!

I also think that the price around £15 is really good. As Good Book's quality is really good and it is such an original present!

So the Good Book gets 5 stars out of 5 from me!

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

                        Wonderful gift ideas!

A while ago I was looking for a special present online. And bought it from a great online store www.suck.uk.com.

                        WHO ARE THEY?

Suck UK is a product design company established in 2000 by Sam and Jude. They design, manufacture and distribute gifts, accessories and items for the home. Success of Suck UK based on mixture of humour with style. Result of that - unique and quirky products. In 2009 Suck UK have opened their first Flagship Store in London's OXO Tower where they offer not only all products available online but also some limited edition products, end of line sales and exclusive items.

Suck UK catalogue is huge and there are plenty of items to choose from. All items are divided into these groups:
                        - New,
                        - Outdoor,
                        - Interior,
                        - Home,
                        - Accessories,
                        - Lifestyle,
                        - Gifts,
                        - Christmas.

It is really worth to browse their catalogue if You are looking for something special as a gift or for Your home. As you will really find something eye catching.

You can download the full catalogue from www.suck.uk.com website or request it via post free of charge. If You want to be informed about new Suck UK products, sign up to their newsletter!

                        PRICES

Prices vary a lot depending from a product. You may find some cheap stuff like Origami Sticky Notes for £2 or a Postcard aeroplane for £3 or something more expensive like a Wiper Mirror (a mirror is fitted with a car windscreen wiper to allow You to clean condensation with one fell swoop) or a Laser Cut Plywood Lamp for £100.

As Suck UK are retailers as well, You may find other online shops selling their products. And somehow prices sometimes tend to be lower elsewhere... So before buying something search online for the best deal!

                        WEBSITE

I liked Suck.uk.com website as it had all the information I needed. I actually was looking for a particular product The Good Book (Stainless Steel Hip Flask concealed in a hardback book with padded cover). I anyway browsed all their catalogue as I was so curious to see more of their products. It is very ease to imagine every product as large images of each product are displayed. And descriptions are provided. So You really have a clue what You are gonna buy.

                        ORDERING AND PAYMENT

You can place Your order online or by telephone +44 (0)20 7923 0011 (if from USA 0011 4420 7923 0011). I ordered The Good Book online because it saves much time and is very simple when You are used to it. If ordering online You may choose to register on not in Suck UK website. I didn't register because I have so many accounts in different online shops that I visited only once. So I chose the option just to place an order.
Ordering process is very simple. Choose items by clicking Buy Online Now at the bottom left of the screen. Any time You may click View order at the bottom right of the screen or Your Order at the top right of the screen and choose to view/ amend/ confirm your order. After You have chosen everything You need enter your payment details and delivery preferences. You may also enter a promotional code if You have one (I didn't have though). That's it! Await for a delivery!

You can choose to pay for Your order via Paypal or with a credit or debit card. I paid via Paypal as it is the quickest and simplest way to me.
Most online shops require to enter the same billing and delivery address. Not always it is possible, for example if You are moving home or there's nobody in Your home to take a parcel and Post Office closed when You finish work... At this point Suck UK even advice to choose delivery address where the delivery can be signed for during working hours. But on the other hand for safety reasons it is better when online shops require billing and delivery addresses to be the same for the first order.

                        DELIVERY

Suck UK offers free delivery to all UK addresses. I liked that as it is always great to get a service for free. Well not actually for free as all prices include delivery charges... If ordered by midday in-stock items will be posted same day and delivery in UK usually takes 2-3 days.

I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of their delivery. I ordered The Good Book Thursday midnight and was sure it won't be delivered by next week. Though I needed it on Saturday... I checked many websites selling same Flasks in a Book but none of them guaranteed next day delivery in Northern Ireland. Even for a big fee next day delivery was available in UK mainland only. So I was astonished when postman brought Suck UK packed Saturday morning! They didn't promise anything but completed the order so quickly!

Suck UK may arrange international delivery too but it will cost. The price will be agreed with the customer in advance.

                        All deliveries require a signature!!!

                        CUSTOMER SERVICE

If You nee any help while ordering items or after You received them You may contact Suck UK by telephone +44 (0)20 7923 0011 or email them sales@suck.uk.com.

Suck UK offers full refund or exchange of a product if You are not fully satisfied. I was happy with the Good Book's quality so didn't have a reason to contact their customer service. But I believe that problems would have been very quickly.

                        MY OPINION

I am glad I chose Suck UK to buy The Good Book. Ordering process went smoothly and I enjoyed every minute of browsing their catalogue. They offer so many wonderful products that it is difficult to choose what You want. I think You may find a perfect gift there or an item for Your home that will brighten Your mood.

Free delivery is also an advantage to me to choose Suck UK next time. Didn't expect it to be so speedy but was surprised! So I think this company really cares about customers and offers high quality products.

As I have already mentioned, Suck UK products are sold on other websites too. And sometimes much cheaper: Suck UK Sun Jars are for £20 each while on another website I paid £10 for a Jar. But the price that I paid for The Good Book was almost the same on all websites. So maybe I was just lucky to find such a great deal on Solar Jars.

                        OVERALL

Suck.uk.com is a great place to look for something special and I really recommend them because:
                        - website is easy to use,
                        - catalogue is huge,
                        - high quality items,
                        - free delivery,
                        - no need to register,
                        - billing and delivery addresses don't have to be the same.

So, Suck UK gets 5 stars out of 5 from me as they offer so many wonderful ideas!

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

                          Advantages

                          Disadvantages

                          Worth to try!

I became addicted to trying more and more products from Tesco value range. Another product that impressed me - Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Wafers.

                          PACKAGING

Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Wafers come in a packaging similar to all Tesco Value range: white front with Tesco Value logo, product name in blue letters and large image of wafer bars; sides and back of package is blue; all nutritional and additional information about wafer bars stated on the back. Each Wafer bar is wrapped separately in white colour foil. One package consists of 6 wafer bars.

                          APPEARANCE AND TASTE

So when I unwrapped one Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafer I found a very simple wafer biscuit bar coated with milk chocolate. Each bar was about 9 cm length and about 2 cm width. All Wafer bar was evenly covered with chocolate. The coating wasn't too thick or too thin. As I prefer Milk chocolate, the bar looked good so far. First bit proved I was gonna love these Bars. Simply because wafers were so perfectly soft and crispy!!! It was so easy to bite them and I loved the way chocolate and wafers were melting in my mouth. There was no bitter aftertaste in my mouth so I can say that I enjoyed every bit of the Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafer bar and would have easily eaten another one but stopped myself!

Yes, these Wafer bars are sweet, mostly because of milk chocolate coating. But I don't like dark chocolate so wouldn't buy Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafers if the coating was changed. I am sure that with a cup of tea or coffee chocolate can't be too sweet!

Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafers are packed individually so very convenient for putting into lunch boxes or a bag, or just grabbing with You. Chocolate doesn't melt very quickly as it was kind of a problem with Tesco Milk Chocolate Fingers. So these Milk Chocolate Wafers are perfect for everyone on the go!

                          INGREDIENTS

Milk Chocolate (44%), Wheat Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Fat, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Soya Flour, Sunflower Oil, Cornflour, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithins), Salt, Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate).
Milk Chocolate contains: Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Dried Skimmed Milk, Cocoa Mass, Milk Fat, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithins), Natural Flavouring.

Sunflower Oil is one of ingredients so don't buy these bars if You are allergic!!!

                          NUTRITIONAL AND ALLERGY INFORMATION

                          Typical values per 1 bar (16g): Energy - 345kj/ 85kcal (not much I would say!), Protein - 1.0g, Carbohydrate - 9.8g of which sugars - 6.0g, Fat - 4.3g, of which saturates - 2.7g, Mono-unsaturates - 1.1g, Polyunsaturates - 0.2g, Fibre - 0.5g, Sodium - trace, Salt Equivalent - trace.

Tesco cannot guarantee nut free because product is made in a nut free area, but nuts used elsewhere in the factory.

                          PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafers are Tesco's own brand product. So You may buy these only from Tesco stores. Price - £0.42 per packet of 6 bars. Real bargain comparing with other wafer bars as a packet of 8 Tunnocks Milk Chocolate Caramel Wafers costs £1.36 or a packet of 5 Weight Watchers Caramel Wafers costs £1.40.

                          OVERALL

I give Tesco Milk Chocolate Wafers 5 stars out of 5 and recommend milk chocolate and wafer lovers to try these! They are very tasty, cheap and don't contain too much calories. What else could You look for?!

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

                            Advantages

                            Disadvantages

                            Try them!

For a while already we do most of our grocery shopping in Tesco so I often end up buying some of their value range products to try. Usually I am not disappointed, so this time I'll review Tesco Value Tomato juice.

                            PACKAGING

Tesco Value Tomato juice comes in a usual 1 litre recyclable carton. The design is similar to all Tesco value products: basically white with some blue and red stripes, Tesco Value logo and image of a cut tomato. The carton doesn't look very attractive but as I am trying to save money where I can - looks do not matter!

I don't like that these cartons don't have an easy open pour spout with a lid so I have to use scissors or a knife to open a carton and usually dribble some juice on a table. Also juices don't stay that fresh after a few days in the fridge... But as Tesco try to keep the packaging simple and minimal to offer good price for Value products, I have no intention to complain. But some people may simply not buy juices for this reason. Though actually they probably wouldn't consider buying shop's own brand products at all...

                            APPEARANCE AND TASTE

So, after dribbling some Tesco Value Tomato juices on a table, I finally pour them into a glass. The liquid is dark red colour and the consistency is thick but not too thick, smells good. So, everything looks promising and what about the taste? I absolutely loved them! Some tomato juices are very bland but Tesco Value Tomato juices were full of flavour, a bit sour. Really perfect for me!

I like to drink tomato juices but it is difficult to find a good tasting and nice texture product. I am so glad I finally tried this Tesco Value product because it tastes great. Well some people may not like it is from concentrate... Usually I also buy juices not from concentrate but this time I don't care! I love the texture and taste of Tesco Value Tomato juice's. So have no intention to look for better tomato juices. Especially as You understand that Tesco Value products are cheap.

Usually we don't keep juices in the fridge as we finish the carton same day so we always drink fresh juices. But if You intend to keep them in the fridge You may have a problem with freshness as the carton stays opened, unless You pour them into a bottle with a lid.

Tesco Value Tomato juice is not very refreshing if You are thirsty but they give me that energy boost that I sometimes need. Of course, not everyone likes tomato juice and they will not understand what I see in them but even now when I am writing the review I feel the taste of them in my mouth... Aw, they are good!!!

                            INGREDIENTS

The list is very very short and You know exactly what You are drinking. So, ingredients are Tomato Juice from concentrate, Salt, Citric Acid.

                            NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

                            This Carton contains 4 servings, so one serving of 250ml contains: Energy - 168kJ (40kcal), Protein - 2.0g, Carbohydrate - 7.8g of which Sugars - 7.8g, Fat - trace of which Saturates - 0g, Fibre - 1.5g, Sodium - 0.8g, Salt Equivalent - 1.9g.

Of course I understand that there's too much salt in Tesco Value Tomato juice. But without salt I wouldn't drink them... And anyway, I don't drink them everyday and use very little of salt while cooking so sometimes I can treat myself! But I would be careful giving them to children. Well my little girl is too small so I don't have to worry now but I'll consider it in the future.

                            PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Tesco Value Tomato juice is Tesco's own brand product so You may buy these only from Tesco stores. The best thing about Tesco juice - the price as You pay only £0.34 for 1 litre!!! It is cheaper than cheap I may say.

                            ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

                              Advantages

                              Disadvantages

                              Avoid it!

I am used to wash my face in the mornings not with a wash but with a face scrub. As I don't have a favourite one, I often try different scrubs. The last one I bought is Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub.

                              VITAMIN E RANGE

Tesco made the whole range of products that were enriched with vitamin E which is an antioxidant, protects and conditions skin.

                              Products, included in the range:
                              - Facial Wipes,
                              - Eye Make up Remover,
                              - Toner,
                              - Facial Wash,
                              - Cleansing Lotion,
                              - Face Scrub,
                              - Night Cream,
                              - Moisturising Lotion,
                              - Hand and Nail Cream.

                              PACKAGING

This Tesco Fase Scrub comes in a peachy tube of 150 ml with a white lid. As many other Scrubs this one also stands on the lid. Tesco logo and name of the product in red; and 4 features: "Exfoliates and renews, dermatologically tested, Paraben free, pH balanced" in pink placed on the front of the tube. All additional information is placed on the back of the tube. The design of the tube is very simple and I wouldn't call it attractive. But usually I don't care about packaging much. The most important thing to me what's inside of the packaging so I decided to give it a try.

Before first use I noticed that it is quite difficult to open the lid. Usually I do this with a thumb. With this scrub it is a bit complicated. I hold it in one hand and open with another as I really can't open it with a thumb. I thought after using Tesco Scrub for a while it will be easier to open it but not... Well on the other hand it is good as there's no way the tube could leak. It is closed so tightly!

                              THE SCRUB

It was stated on the tube that Scrub cleanses and exfoliates skin, removes dead skin cells, leaves face fresh and renewed. It all sounds good but what did I find in that peachy tube?

                              Smell
Smell of Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub is very light and pleasant (I call it smell of cleanliness), doesn't stay on the face after rinsing it away. I liked that as every cream also has one or another smell so they don't mix together.

                              Texture
This Scrub is like transparent gel with transparent micro beads. You can feel those beads with Your fingers or while scrubbing face but to see them You have to steer closely. I found the consistency a bit too watery as almost every time I managed to squeeze too much of the Scrub. I squeeze the tube so gently but the Scrub starts running and I get irritated as I don't need a handful of it! And when I start applying this Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub I face another problem... As it is gel but watery, the Scrub especially most of the beads slip through my fingers...

                              HOW TO USE

Everyone who has used a face scrub before will know how to use it. But if someone hasn't tried a scrub don't worry it is very simple! Simply squeeze a little fit of scrub into wet hands and apply to Your face in circular motions. Then rinse it off with water. That's it - apply a face cream!

                              RESULTS

Well I am very disappointed with Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub. As I have mentioned, it slips through my fingers so I don't feel much scrubbing on my face. This means that the most important thing why I use a scrub - to remove dead skin cells - is not completed at all. For me this Scrub is more like a simple face wash but I bought a scrub didn't I????

The Scrub is gentle to use every day and doesn't irritate my skin but I don't feel my skin is cleansed or refreshed properly. I have a facial wash so why do I need this neither Scrub nor wash????

                              PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub is Tesco's product so You may buy these only from Tesco stores or their website. The best thing about this Scrub - the price as it costs only £0.60 for 150 ml tube!!! Really bargain! Just a pity there is no use of this product...

                              OVERALL

I won't be buying Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub again and don't advice You to try. Yes, it is extremely cheap but at least some noticeable results would be great...

So I give Tesco Face Scrub only 2 stars out of 5: one for the price and another one for being gentle on skin and Paraben free.

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!

                                Advantages

                                Disadvantages

                                You're worth it!

All women sometimes have those "bad hair" days. I simply have "bad hair"... Also use hairdryer or straightening irons every time I wash them, so need products to make them look better - to calm frizz, make them shiny and glossy. And a while ago I bought a wonderful product - Loreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream.

                                LOREAL

Loreal Paris is a French company now active in more that 120 countries over the world. Their philosophy since inventing the company is: "to innovate and offer top performing products at great prices to the greatest number of consumers possible". And it really seems working as Loreal products are widely available for very affordable prices.

Another brand's statement that probably everyone has already heard is "you're worth it, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity or look". Loreal simply helps every woman and man to be confident, to look and feel good everyday! That's why they offer a wide range of brilliant quality products: Skincare, Cosmetics, Hair Colour, Haircare, Styling, Men.

                                THE CREAM

Loreal Studio Line Hot range was specially developed for use with straightening irons and hairdryers. The products are Volume Mousse, Straight Cream, Curl Spray and Straight Spray. I bought the Straight cream which not only straightens my hair but also protects them from heat. The secret, what makes Loreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream so special, is in the formula, which contains innovative Thermo-Protect technology to cover hair in a protective film and make straightening easy.

                                PACKAGING

This Loreal straightening Cream comes in a bright pink plastic bottle with a grey lid and it really caught my attention at the shop! The bottle isn't very big and contains 150 ml of cream. Color of the cream is white and the smell is gorgeous!!! And I really like to use products for my hair that smell good and also make my hair smell nice!

                                APPLICATION

It is very easy to apply Loreal Studio Thermo-Straightening Cream. First of all lightly towel dry Your washed hair, then rub a hazelnut-sized amount of the Cream (if your hair is long, use 2 hazelnut-sized amounts) in your hands and spread through your hair. Of course, avoid the roots as hair may look greasy. Brush or comb your hair and dry your hair as you are used to: with hairdryer and a brush or straightening irons.

                                See, it is so simple!

                                DOES IT WORK?

When I used Loreal Studio Thermo-Straightening Cream for the first time I didn't care much if it was gonna make my hair sleek and shiny. I loved its smell and thought to myself that at least my hair will smell nice! I used straightening irons that time and was really surprised by the results: my hair looked shiny and glossy, were straight to perfection! And the results lasted until the next hair wash.

Second time I dried my hair with a hairdryer. Well this time the results weren't as perfect as the first time... My hair was a little bit frizzy but I sorted out this problem with straightening irons. It took just a few minutes and my hair looked great! This Loreal Cream makes a miracle with uncontrollable hair!

Sometimes I use this Straightening Cream even when I leave hair to dry naturally. Of course, it doesn't straighten my hair then but I love that smell on my hair and my hair look so healthy and shiny then.

I use Loreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream for about six months now and am really happy with the results. I have nearly finished my first bottle of Cream. I use it only once or twice a week so this bottle lasts me that long. But if You have very long hair and would use the cream more often, You'll have to buy a new bottle each couple of months.

                                PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

I paid £3.5 for my bottle of Loreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream. You may find it online cheaper as the price varies from £3 to £4. This Loreal Straightening Cream is widely available from main supermarkets, chemists and online retailers.

                                OVERALL

I think Loreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream is a fantastic product as it really works. I would pay much more for it as it makes my curly and frizzy hair look nice!

So I give this Loreal Straightening Cream 5 stars our of 5 and recommend if You want shine, smooth and luscious hair for a bit more than £3!!!

                                  Advantages

                                  Disadvantages

                                  Lovely toy!

For our daughters FIRST birthday she got a lot of presents, most of them - toys of course. And one of them was especially cute and everybody liked it - Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit.

                                  THE TOY

Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit was very safely packed in a cardboard box. It took me a while to unpack it actually... And we found a very cute soft embroidered rabbit with three large brightly coloured buttons on his tummy. Rabbit was about 23 cm height and it's weight about 0.8 kg

Age suitability for this Rabbit - 6 months+. And this time I agree this manufactures as this Chicco Musical Rabbit may be used as a soft toy and as a musical toy. It depends on baby's age and interest into things. Our girl got the Rabbit for her first birthday but she loves it. She likes to hold and cuddle it because it is so soft and sweet!

                                  OPERATING THE TOY

This toy operates on 2 AAA (1.5 Volt) batteries that are included. We haven't replaced them yet and the toy is used every day for 2 months now. So this not one of those toys which "eats" batteries.

I have read instructions for the Rabbit but only now read part about batteries... Shame on me probably but I thought I knew everything I need about changing them. But appeared I was wrong! General instructions say that those included batteries are only for demonstration at the sales point and must be replaced with new ones immediately after purchase. Well, we didn't replace the batteries as it was birthday party and our girl wanted to play with the Rabbit, on the other hand I never imagined that batteries may somehow be different. So we use same included batteries. You decide if You would replace them or not but don't judge me please...

Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit must be switched ON if You want to activate musical functions. There is a button on Rabbit's back under the Velcro closure for switching it ON or OFF. Batteries compartment is also there.

                                  PLAY TIME

So, the Rabbit is switched on and the play time begins!!!

Central note button on Chicco Rabbit's tummy activates two very cheerful and playful melodies. While three colourful buttons around it play funny sounds effects. All buttons have embossed decorations to stimulate baby's tactile sensitivity.

Our daughter loves this Rabbit and plays with it every day. She activates one or another melody and then holds the toy to her ear. Then activates another melody and holds toy to her ear or just looks at it smiling! It's so good to see her happy!

I also love this Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit! But not just because it makes my little angel happy, because I like the melodies and those sound effects so much! They are so pleasant to listen to! All parents know what it means to listen to irritating noises or melodies... But this Rabbit is so different from other toys!

There isn't a volume control button but the sound the Rabbit makes is no too loud or too silent. So I don't get tired of listening to it during the day. I actually enjoy every minute my daughter plays with it! I may also say that the Rabbit is so soft and well designed that You immediately like it! Because everybody who comes to our house pay attention at it and finish pushing buttons and cheerfully listening to those melodies!

During a few first weeks I thought Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit was a perfect toy for every baby. But then I noticed one unpleasant thing... The toy is made of polyester and now all dust and sewage from our house are on this Rabbit's fur... He doesn't look cute anymore. I have cleaned it many times but it looks like that the more I clean it, the dirtier it gets afterwards. So I am not sure if I love or hate this Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit anymore. My daughter still adores it of course so I have an extra duty - Rabbit cleaning!

                                  PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Our friends bought Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit from TK Maxx for £15. So it is available to buy from TK Maxx shops and some online retailers. Usual price for this toy is around £15 just as our friends paid. This toy is not very cheap but a very cute one!

                                  OVERALL

Despite of nothing I recommend Chicco Musical Bunny Rabbit and give it 4 stars out of 5. Because of the material which collects dust and only 2 melodies as it is sometimes too repetitive. Otherwise this Musical Rabbit is a wonderful toy that our girl loves and often plays with so £15 is a really good investment!

Let's not forget one more thing that I have mentioned - melodies are very pleasant for parents' ears. If You have kids - You understand me, if not - some day You'll understand what I mean.

Thanks for taking time to read my review! Hope You'll find it useful!
