      Cheap basic baby wipes from Asda

      We tend to get through alot of baby wipes in our house. The girls especially like helping themselves to wipe their hands and faces, and toys and they like 'cleaning' with them. The youngest (18months) loves emptying a whole packet of wipes out onto the floor before I have noticed and sits there giggling. So I decided to try the cheaper brands.

      The packaging has been changed since the file picture above. They are still white with Asda in green capital letters and 'Smart' is a white bubble type font outlined with green and the 'price' in block green font. There is a cute looking fluffy teddy bear waving with a smile on its face. The opening tab is the same as other wipes, it is clear plastic. I try to ensure that this is shut properly after use to make sure the wipes don't dry out. The packet contains 80 wipes and they are fragrance free.

      On the back of the packet it lists the ingredients and a warning about avoiding contact with eyes and how the wipes should be disposed of in normal household waste and not flushed down the toilet.

      The wipes are easy to get out of the packet. They are white in colour and quite thin compared to other wipes I have tried before. They seem almost stretchy. They are soft though and clean mucky hands and face with ease. My girls don't have sensitive skin and these wipes certainly haven't caused them any harm. I have used them on myself too to give my face a quick wipe before crawling into bed.

      Ingredients: - Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Chloride.

      These are obviously only available from Asda stores and on their online groceries site www.asda.com. They are a bargain price at 51pence a packet.

      Overall I will buy these again. I probably wouldn't have used them for my girls when they were newborns but now they are older these are good for us. Not the most luxurious of wipes but clean well enough for a good price.

      Thanks for reading.

        Great value leggings I would recommend

        When I was pregnant with my youngest baby (who is now 18 months), I lived in leggings as they were the stretchiest, comfiest clothing I could squeeze my enormous bump into. This put me off wearing leggings after the birth as it just reminded me of being pregnant again!

        After buying a few longer length tops I decided I should try leggings again as some of my friends wear them and they look good on them. As I was in Matalan recently browsing the sale items, I saw some leggings hung up near the tills.

        The leggings are packaged simply in a white cardboard sleeve with a picture of some very skinny legs wearing black leggings with red heeled shoes with 'LEGGINGS' written across the image in red capital letters. It says papaya essentials in the top left hand side and the price of £6 in black lettering inside a black circle outline. In the bottom right corner it says Full Length Stretch Viscose.

        When I tried them on at first I was amazed at how soft and comfortable they are to wear. (compared to jeans which I live in). These are true to size (I am usually a size 10-12) and I bought a 12 this time. They are a good length too. I think leggings are a really useful item to own as they go with a lot of my clothes. I have worn them so far with longer length vest tops with flipflops and also with a VERY short tunic style dress I bought from ebay which is indecent if worn on its own! I will be wearing this alot more now.

        They are made from 95% Viscose and 5% Elastane. The washing instructions on the packaging are just to wash them on a 40degree wash with similar colours and not to tumble dry them. However I have only washed them on a 30degree light wash as they haven't got really dirty.

        I would recommend these leggings if you want something comfortable, easy to wear and which is so useful for wearing with different outfits. I'm planning on popping back into Matalan for another pair.

        Thanks for reading.

        Another good shampoo from Alberto Balsam

        I'm trying to stop buying excess products mainly to save some pennies. I would rather buy multi purpose products and products that the whole family can use. This Alberto Balsam shampoo is one of them. I have tried a few versions of this and was keen to try the apple one.

        == Packaging ==

        The packaging is almost identical to the picture above apart from the flip top lid at the top is black plastic, not silver. The 400 ml plastic bottle is semi see through so you can see the green liquid through it. On the front of the bottle it has the brand logo in white lettering on a black background which makes it stand out with an image of a juicy looking apple. It is a herbal shampoo with apple and grape seed extract. It is for normal/greasy hair.

        On the back of the bottle it has the directions for use, ingredients and a few key points about the shampoo which are as follows: - Gently cleanses - Revives and refreshes - Strengthens with Pro Vitamin B5. It also tells you it is a Unilever Brand and lists contact information for the company.

        == The Shampoo itself ==

        The shampoo is easy to pour out of the bottle. It smells lovely and fruity. It lathers well in my hair and leaves it feeling really clean. My hair is quite thick, shoulder length and sometimes I find with cheaper hair products I need double the amount, but this time I didn't. After testing it on myself and my husband I used it on my daughters hair (4 years old and 18 months) and found it cleaned their hair well as well, with no irritation.

        == Ingredients ==

        Aqua (Water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamide MEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Panthenol, Polyquaternium - 39 ,Polyquaternium - 7, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Benzophenone-4, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Hexylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Hexyl Cinnamal, Parfum (Fragrance), CI 42090 (Blue 1), CI 15985 (Yellow 6), CI 19140 (Yellow 5)

        == Price and Availability ==

        This brand seems to be widely available. In Tesco and Poundland it is £1. You can usually buy the matching conditioner too.

        == Overall Summary ==

        I like this shampoo, it leaves my hair feeling clean and it is suitable for our whole family. It leaves your hair with a pleasant apple-y scent too. I would recommend this.

        Thanks for reading.

        Cute shoes which my daughter loved

        When I was younger my mum always used to buy me and my brothers and sisters our shoes from Clarks. I do the same for my daughters, I like their feet to the measured to ensure the shoes fit them well and won't rub or cause them any problems.

        My daughter is due to start 'big school' next month so I will need to look at buying school shoes again. She was at preschool since 2 years 9 months and I had bought school style shoes for this. The last pair I bought were these shoes pictured above, Daisy Meadow from Clarks.

        They are made from black leather with a cute black bow detail on the front, they fasten with velcro. I think it is important to choose shoes your child can put on and remove themselves as they need to be able to put on wellies for outside play. On the back of the shoe there is a Clarks logo embossed into the leather and a patent leather stripe at the back of the shoe. The shoes feel well padded and soft on the inside, there is purple lining which my daughter likes.

        They are suprisingly hard wearing which I am pleased about. My daughter has worn these while riding her scooter (which meant the toes got rather scuffed so I soon put a stop to that.) They have been well worn and loved with wearing them at least 3 times a week. I polished them to keep them looking clean and tidy and when my daughter had grown out of these I passed them onto a friend for her little girl. They have made no marks on her feet and she loved wearing them and said they were her comfy dancing shoes!

        Daisy chose these shoes herself and was excited to see the shoes were called Daisy Meadow. Inside the box was a lovely sheet of stickers which little girls enjoy sticking everywhere!

        These aren't the cheapest shoes that Clarks sell as they cost me £30 BUT I feel that it was money well spent as I am confident that shoes need to be good quality and fitted well to their feet especially when they are still growing. These clean up well and are hard wearing and I would recommend these.

        Thanks for reading.

          Nivea Pure and Natural Cleasing Lotion

          I tend to do my food shopping online, usually with Tesco's in the school holidays. Supermarkets with young children isn't usually a good mix, normally involves whinging and whining so online is easier for me. I can browse the offers with a nice cup of tea and take as long as I like! This cleansing lotion was recently on offer so I thought I would give it a try. I wear make up most days and I always take my make up off before I go to bed, I prefer using a cleanser with cotton wool.

          == Packaging ==

          The packaging has been updated since the file photo above. It is a slimmer shaped bottle, still made from white plastic. The Nivea logo in a dark blue circle with the Nivea logo in white. The pure and natural cleansing lotion is still in lower case lettering, in blue and green. There is an image of leaves on the front in the centre. It says it is suitable for all skin types and it contains bio argan oil and bio aloe vera. The bottle has a flip top lid.

          == Ingredients ==

          Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol,Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Dicaprylyl Ether, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopherol, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat., Trisodium EDTA, Methylisothiazolinone, Linalool, Limonene, Citronellol, Benzyl Alcohol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Geraniol, Parfum

          == How to use and my thoughts ==

          I tend to squirt a small amount of the cleansing lotion onto a cotton wool pad and gently wipes across my face. I tend to use a separate pad for my eyes. The make up comes off easily. My skin feels really clean and soft after using this. The lotion comes out quite quickly, it is a white colour and is lightly fragranced. The smell reminds me slightly of pantene shampoo. This smell does fade and it doesn't linger on my skin for very long.

          It is very gently on my eyes too, sometimes I find that my eyes can itch and feel sore after using make up remover but had no problems with this. I was pleased with how effective it was at removing a couple of coats of black waterproof mascara and eye liner, it didn't leave me with clumpy eyelashes afterwards unlike others I have tried!

          It is sold as being a more natural product as it contains no parabens, silicones, colourants or mineral oils. However there does still seem to be a large number of ingredients that I can't identify.

          == Price and Availability ==

          This is available in most supermarkets and shops like Boots and Superdrug. I bought this when it was on offer and it cost £2. At the moment in Tesco it is £3.29.

          == Overall Summary ==

          I would recommend this cleanser. I find it easy to use and removed my make up well. I probably wouldn't buy it at £3.29 though, I would shop around and try to buy it on offer again.

          Thanks for reading.

            Macleans White & Shine Toothpaste

            I am not usually fussy about what bathroom products I buy or what toothpaste I buy, I tend to buy whatever is on offer or store own brands. This toothpaste actually came courtesy of my mother in law as I had forgotten to pick some up with the food shopping, so I was given this from her store cupboards!

            It is from the Brand Macleans and is called White and Shine. On the front of the tube it tells you that it provides - enamel protection - polishes for whiter, shinier teeth. The tube is sold sealed within a cardboard tube. The colour scheme is as pictured in the file photo.

            On the reverse of the tube it lists in more detail what the benefits of this toothpaste is: - Unique dual action whitening formula for whiter teeth - Micro-buffers help polish away imperfections for shinier smooth teeth - Enamel protection - With regular brushing helps protect against plaque and decay.

            It also lists the ingredients: Sorbitol, Aqua, Silica, Hydrated Silica, PEG-8, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Disodium Phosphate, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Floride, Mica, Sodium Sulfite, Limonene.

            I have been using this particular toothpaste for about two weeks now and I haven't noticed my teeth are particularly whiter. The toothpaste is a white shimmery colour with white lines through it. It tastes very minty. However I have found that after brushing my teeth with these, they feel very clean and it leaves my mouth feeling fresh.

            This is available to buy from most Supermarkets. It is usually around the £2 mark. It is useful to note that this toothpaste is not suitable for children aged under 7 years.

            Overall I am happy with this toothpaste. It comes from a well known brand and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. I will deduct a star as I don't feel it has left my teeth looking any whiter.

            Thanks for reading.

            Easy to apply eye shadow for a bargain price

            I have started wearing more make up lately to make more of an effort with my appearance. When browsing in my local Poundland I was very pleased to see a familiar brand in the make up section.
            It is the Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad Eye Shadow. In Poundland the eye shadows are packaged in a clear plastic bag with a hanging tag at the top.

            When I was home I was able to look at the product properly. On the back of the box it says that the colours complement brown eyes. It has an image of an eye with the colours numbered to show you how to apply the eye shadow correctly. I have blue eyes and I find this suits me well for a night out. I chose shade 022 - Thrill Seeker. The colours are pale shimmery grey, dark shimmery grey, green and a dark gold colour.

            I find the eye shadow easy to apply. It comes with a double ended applicator. I tend to use an eye primer which forms a good base for the eye shadow to be applied to. It seems to have the eye shadow stay on for longer and prevents the eye shadow sitting in creases of my eyes.

            This was a bargain price obviously for £1. This can also be found in places like Boots and Superdrug. At the moment in Boots it is £6.99 so I obviously got a good bargain.

            I think this will last me a long time but it is something I would recommend and buy again.

            Thanks for reading.

            Lovely, fun stamp set

            My daughter enjoys arts and craft activities and this was one of the presents she received for her fourth birthday from a friend.

            The set is neatly packaged inside a pink wooden box with Melissa & Doug written on the side in black writing. Through the clear plastic you can see the pink and purple ink pad with the wooden stamps. It has 8 stamps inside with the image printed on the handle so your child can easily see which image it will be.

            The stamp handles are easy to little hands to hold on to (and not so little hands too!) the wood is smooth. The stamps are good quality and feel sturdy, I think even if the ink dries out before, we will be able to re-use the stamps with replacement ink.

            The ink is washable and non toxic. I am very glad it is washable as my daughter can sometimes be messy when stamping.

            It is recommended for age 4+ . I would say that this is an accurate age recommendation. My daughter is 4 and really enjoys this set. She understands that you need to press the stamp firmly into the ink pad to cover the whole stamp before pressing it on the paper. My younger daughter (18 months) was just putting everything into the ink pad, hands, toys etc etc!

            This set holds my daughters attention for quite a while. She has used it to decorate birthday cards, notes and for making pictures for friends and family.

            I am not sure how much my friend paid for this as it was a present. At the moment on Amazon it is priced at £4.99, which I feel is a good price. I think it makes a lovely gift. I would recommend it for any other child who likes arty activities.

            Thanks for reading.

            A reliable nail varnish which provides great results

            I have started wearing nail varnish more recently to make more an effort with my appearance. After having my girls and finishing work I tended to wear the same style of things every day, jeans and top, hair scraped back etc. So this is the new, smarter me!

            Rimmel is a brand of makeup that I recognised and trust. I normally stock up on products when they are on offer. This was a nail varnish I had bought a while ago in but have just started using it again.

            The bottle is the same design as the one pictured above, although I think the packaging has changed now. The nail varnish colour I chose is 307 - Grape Sorbet. On the front of the bottle it has the Rimmel London in silver lettering, with Lycra Pro Professional Finish in white lettering and it claims the nail varnish lasts up to 10 days. On the back of the bottle it says it is a long lasting, chip resistant colour.

            It is very simple to apply due to the shape of the brush, it is a 'maxi brush', which is said to provide mistake free application. I would actually agree with this, the brush is flatter so you only need approximately 3 strokes per nail. It is quick to dry too, I find it looks best when this colour has had two coats. It is a pale pearly pink colour. I find it is a good safe choice for me! I don't time to sit around and paint my nails and wait for it to dry so this provides reliable and fast results every time.

            Having a look on the Boots website I can see now that this packaging has changed but they still use the maxi brush to apply the nail varnish. It is priced at £4.49 a bottle but there is a promotion on which is buy 1 get second half price on Rimmel cosmetics.

            I find this is an easy to apply, pretty shade of nail varnish which I would buy again.

            Thanks for reading.

              Good value nappy sacks

              There isn't a lot you can write about nappy bags. I do buy these from time to time for those horrid nappies by little darling can produce, it helps to mask the smell and more hygienic to put in the rubbish bin.

              The packaging for these nappy bags has been updated from the file picture above, it has changed to the 'Tesco Everyday Value' range and is accompanied by baby themed images in two shades of green. The pack states 300 bags are inside. It lists directions for use on the back, and warnings such as not leaving within reach of a young children, babies and pets due to a risk of suffocation. Also these are not to be used for carrying food, the bags are fragranced and they are not suitable to be flushed down the toilet.

              The bags are a pale turquoise colour and are approximately 290mm x 310mm. They are made from polythene and are lightly fragranced. They are easy to pull out if the bag. I tend to put my hand inside the bag to scoop up the offending nappy and then tie the handles together before disposing. This then ensures all the mess is kept inside.

              I can't remember the exact price I paid for this pack. I am sure it was around £1. I haven't seen it in my local store in the last few weeks so I do hope Tesco hasn't discontinued these.

              I would recommend these, thin but strong nappy bags which help mask horrible smells!

              Thanks fir reading.

              An effective facial scrub which makes my skin feel fresh

              I really enjoy trying new beauty and skin care products, I was recently sent a sample of this to try. I was sent a 30ml tube. It is the St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub.

              -- Packaging --

              The packaging has been re-designed since the above photo. The background colour is white and has 'New Look' written in white on a hot pink triangle in the top right hand corner, apricot images and UK No 1's Scrub Brand in a circle with union jack colouring. It lists what the product does 'gently exfoliates dull surface cells to instantly reveal smooth, radiant skin'. It also says that it is suitable for all skin types.

              On the back of the tube it lists more information such as directions for use and the ingredients.

              --- Ingredients (As taken from the Boots website) ---

              AQUA (WATER), JUGLANS REGIA (WALNUT) SHELL POWDER, GLYCERYL STEARATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE , ZEA MAYS (CORN) KERNEL MEAL, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CETYL ALCOHOL, LINOLEAMIDE DEA, LANOLIN OIL, PEG-100 STEARATE, PRUNUS ARMENIACA (APRICOT) KERNEL OIL, CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER EXTRACT, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) EXTRACT, PRIMULA VERIS EXTRACT, SAMBUCUS NIGRA FLOWER EXTRACT, SORBITOL, CETEARETH-20, CARBOMER, METHYLPARABEN, POLYSORBATE 60, TRIETHANOLAMINE ETHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, PHENOXYETHANOL,METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, CITRONELLOL, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).

              -- The Scrub & How to Use --

              The scrub squeezes out of the tube easily, it is cream in colour and smells like apricots. The granules are quite small in the cream but effective. It has quite a thick consistency but a little of the product goes a long way.

              The scrub is easy to use and apply. The directions are simple: Moisten face with water. Dispense product onto fingertips and massage over face. Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush thoroughly with water. For best results use 3 to 4 times a week.

              -- Price and Availability --

              This is available from a wide range of shops, at the moment is is priced at £4.29 from Boots for a 150ml tube.

              -- My thoughts --

              I like the way this feels when it is being rubbed into my skin. When it is rinsed off my face feels really clean and soft. It doesn't make my skin feel sensitive at all and I would buy this again.

              Thanks for reading.

                I have recently started trying to make more of an effort with my appearance to avoid looking like a slob in the school playground, I have been experimenting with new make up and skin care products. (which I am now finding slightly addictive!)

                I found this eye shadow in our local Poundland, as it was a brand I recognised I was keen to try it. The eye shadow was packaged in a clear plastic bag and hung up.

                It is in a black plastic case with clear plastic lid which opens easily. You can see the eye shadow has a quilted look with a crown in the middle and Rimmel London written in silver letters. It has a single ended applicator in there too.

                On the back it has white writing on a black background which makes it stand out. The colour I bought this time was 440-Enchantment. It says that it complements brown eyes, for a subtle look it recommends adding as a soft eye liner close to the lashes and for the London Look add some black kohl eye liner and a silver shade in the inner corner. I must confess I didn't actually read the make up tips in the shop, it was something I noticed once I had used it a few times.

                This can be bought it most places which stock make up, it is stocked in my local Boots and is priced at £4.49, so it is worth looking at your local bargain shops to see if you can find it too.

                I tend to use it as a soft liner along the edge of my lashline, I have blue eyes and I find this makes them stand out more. It is easy to apply and it blends easily if I am using it with another colour. I don't use this for when I am wearing smoky eye make up in the evening as I find it wears off and creases easily. For an every day eye shadow for the bargain price of £1 I would buy it again.

                I find this easily removes with a cotton wool pad and baby lotion. I will buy this again, only if it I can find it in Poundland again though!

                Thanks for reading.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  An easy to apply sun cream

                  I needed to buy myself some affordable sun protection when the sun started to appear. I didn't want to spend alot so I had a quick look on the Tesco website when doing my online food shopping and order this one.

                  It is packaged in a 200ml bright yellow bottle with a spray applicator on the top with a clear plastic lid. It has the Tesco logo in small white capital letters on the top left hand side. 'Soleil Suncare' in blue lettering with an image on the sun around the lettering with a blue wave underneath. It lists the skin factor rating which is a 15, which provides Medium SPF Protection. It says on the front that it is water resistant and photostable. Anti-aging and moisturising.

                  On the back it has more detailed information about the claims on the front of the bottle. For example Anti-aging and moisturising: a specially formulated cell protection system combining UVA sunscreens with antioxidants green tea and vitamin E, helps to prevent premature skin-aging caused by the sun. Photostable - Protection is not broken down by exposure to sunlight. The sun cream has been dermatologically tested.

                  It is very simple to use but if you are unsure there are directions for use printed on the back. Shake well before use. Spray liberally all over 15 mins prior to sun exposure. Re-apply every 1-2 hours and always after swimming.

                  There is a warning on the back too: Avoid contact with eyes - Avoid contact with fabrics as the lotion may cause staining. - Seek shade between the hours of 11am and 3pm.

                  I find it easier to apply, the spray is easy absorbed into my skin and doesn't leave it looking white, and it has a nice coconut smell which reminds me of sunshine and beaches! It is very good value too at £3 a bottle. I would recommend this.

                  Thanks for reading.

                    Disadvantages

                    I probably won't bother with these again

                    I bought these from our local Poundland recently. I like to keep a stock of various medicines in the box at home so I am prepared.

                    The box is cardboard and is quite striking to look at. It is red and blue with Beechams in white and Flu Plus in red. It lists the pain it is suitable for easing and these are Sore Throat, Blocked Nose, Aches & Pains, HeDache, Fever. It is non drowsy and the box contains 8 caplets.

                    The ingredients are listed on the back of the box. These are as follows: 500mg Paracetamol which is a pain killer and fever reducer. This provides relief from headache, sore throat, fever, aches and pains.

                    Caffeine 25mg which is a mild stimulant which provides relief from tiredness and fatigue.

                    Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg which is a decongestant which provides relief from a blocked nose and painful sinuses. These caplets also contain potassium sorbate (E 202) and colour sunset yellow (E 110).

                    The directions are also listed on the back of the box, these are simple: the caplets are to be taken orally. For adults and children aged 12 years and over. 2 caplets are to be taken every 4 to 6 hours as necessary. Do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours.

                    I find these caplets easy to swallow due to the oval shape. They are very brightly coloured which I found slightly off putting when I first saw them!

                    I found my symptoms eased slightly after while but I found drinking a lemsip more effective.

                    When my husband is ill he prefers to take these rather than the hit drink variety as it is more convenient on. Building site so some of it is individual preferences.

                    Overall I am glad I only paid £1 for these as they don't work amazingly for me.

                    Thanks for reading.

                    Lemsip Max All in One lemon flavour to make you feel better

                    Thankfully I am not very often ill (touch wood) but I always a supply of cold and flu products in the medicine box, just in case.

                    == Packaging ==

                    There are 10 sachets in this box. These sachets are packaged in a cardboard box similar to the one pictured above. The Lemsip Max logo is more of an oval shape now, in the top centre. The box is shiny which makes it stand out on the shelf. On the front it lists the ailments that this is suitable for relieving: Fever, Heach & Body Ache, Blocked Nose, Sore Throat, Chesty Cough. It also informs the reader it contains paracetamol.

                    On the side of the box it has an information section and provides the address in case you wish to make a comment or make a suggestion to the company.

                    On the back of the box, it is plain white with green writing. It lists the directions for use, the ingredients and warnings about the product.

                    == Price and Availability ==

                    At the moments these are priced at £3.85 in Boots and also on www.boots.com. I'm sure I bought mine at Tesco and they were slightly cheaper than this. So if you have time and wish to stock up the medicine cupboard I would look around as there are savings to be had.

                    == How to Use & Dosage ==

                    These are very simple to use, you pour a sachet into a mug and fill it with hot, but not boiling water. Stir until it has dissolved. You can sweeten this too if you like.

                    On the packaging it advises: Adults and children over 12 years: 1 Sachet every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 4 sachets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12, expect on medical advice.

                    == Ingredients ==

                    These are the ingredients (per sachet) Paracetamol 1000mg ACTION: Analgesic & antipyretic - this is for the relief of headache, sore throat, fever, ody aches and pains.

                    Phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2mg - ACTION: Decongestant - this is for the relief of Blocked or runny nose

                    Guaifenesin 200mg ACTION - Expectorant Relief of Chesty Cough.

                    == My Thoughts ==

                    I think these are a useful product to have in the medicine box as there is nothing worse than feeling really rough and having to drag yourself to local shop and paying well of the odds for some pain relief! I find these work for me, I hardly ever have to take them but when I do I find they work well.

                    They aren't my favourite tasting product but it doesn't take long to drink it and I find it relieves my flu like symptoms more quickly than just taking paracetamol in caplet form.

                    == Warnings ==

                    The warnings are written on the box in bold as it contains paracetamol. DO NOT take with other paracetamol containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose even if you feel well.

                    == Overall Summary ==

                    Overall I would recommend these. They do the job well and relieve flu like symptoms for me quickly. I will be buying these again when this box is running low.

                    Thanks for reading.
