perfect for those who love to capture all them want to be there moments! ... no mess and no need to panick when it comes down to capturing it perfectly. the menus are easy to follow and you will not need to do anything else but point and click.
many people think that because it is 12.1 megapixals that its perfect quality but it also comes down to the lens that the camera carries and you can garentee there has been no cut backs here ... sony have once again delivered what they needed to do to make this a hit camera! easy to use and can easily fit in your pocket. there now no reason for you not to capture that moment.
Its not badly prices either which means you can give it to your friends or family as a gift for the upcomming birthdays or christmas!
You will find this in most techonoloy stores, although it is worth a look around cause some places might have a better offer on where you can get a free SD card with it or something like that
These speakers are a great set of music playing devices, they come with 5 normal speakers and 1 massive sub which really lets off the sound of bass and lets you know that its there. you can really get a feeling that your in a nightclub if you switch it up to full blast! ive been looking for some good speakers for some time now and thats really what i needed to do with my money
i think that these speakers would be perfect for someone who needs to play loud music while they watch a film to make them really feel like there in the movie!
these speakers are easy to setup and dont need you to mess about with them, perfect for someone who aint a computer or technical whiz kid. its as simple as plug and play!
You can find these in most technology stores and you dont have to mess about as the box will fit simply into your car and you can get it home with ease.. i wouldnt recommend trying to get them on the bus though cause its rather bulky!
With me being a graphic designer, i feel that i have alot of work to do all the time when it comes to computer work and creating things which are new and fresh, the best way to get these ideas out of your head, before you jump in with a computer and create something which looks exactly like what you did (went straight on the computer) its best to get a more hand made look, and for this you need the best tools. These for me are excellent when it comes to creating and getting ideas down on paper, you can have any stock/paper and still achieve a very similar effect with these pens!
Price and Availability
You can find these pens all over the shot these days, from Asda to most stationary companies like staples and other shops like that, there not badly prices however as they are classed as premium brands of pens then you will have to pay that little more for what would normally be a cheaper pen. These pens are nearly always in stock in the larger stationary supermarkets, but if you are to go to Asda or Morrisons then you may struggle to find them around the begging of term time for the kids as that's when most mothers go on a stationary shopping frenzy.
Below is a quick list of the best places that i found prices on around the internet, you may be able to find cheaper if you continue to look.
Sharpie pack 1 (x1 of each ... Black, Red, Green, Blue)
WHSmith - 5.39
Amazon - 2.29
Asda - 4.00
Sharpie pack 2 (x1 Black)
Asda - 1.00
WHSmith - 2.99
Amazon - 6.70 (makes no sense to me either)
Appearance and Design.
The design of this pen is so that it can fit comfortably into your hand, and be used for a long period of time, the pen is created out of a strong plastic which is highly durable and is very hard to snap! with just a simple branding on the side of the pen so you know that the type of pen is Sharpie and is then marked as there design, there is nothing really special to look at about this pen and so complicated features to get you all muddled up with, instead you can simply marvel at the colour spectrum you start to build up when buying lots of these pens. The colour caps at the end signify which pen colour you have selected, unless you start to mix up the end of the caps then these are a great way to show which is which pen.
The lid has a small hook like thing on it which allows you so clip it onto your shirt pocket so you dont loose it or even onto your jeans, this comes in handy if you have no pockets on your trousers or no pockets at all cause your sat in your pajamas getting some last minute design work done.
Once you have built up a collection then you are able to create some wonderful pieces of art and there for have a very bold and proud image created from these wonderful pens.
The lid is a click on lid which comes in hand to keep the nib in good shape and keep the pen fresh, there isnt anything worse then when you have to buy a new pen cause the lid wasn't clicked on right, you know it with these pens as there is a satisfying feeling when it clicks on and a small click.
When drawn upon paper with this lid it gives over a very smooth and clear ink mark which drys instantly and cannot then be smudged (unless you go over the same spot continuously) this is perfect for when you need something to be neat and precise. If you are to do this over and over again however the pen on your hand is rather hard to get off and the smell which can come from the pen can start to give you a head ache if you are one of these people which need to get real close to the paper. If you are to shade an area in you can get a smooth result as long as you continue to do this in one fluent movement, if you are to stop and go back to it later then you have a problem and you get a cross over mark which shows up where it has gone darker then before.
And remember colouring fans. Colour in one direction, none of this scribble to colour. these pens are for professionals.
Other must knows.
I wouldn't really recommend these pens for younger artists and want to be drawers as they are permanent so any little tinkers that can run around and draw on your walls of your house or something like that would have a field day and end up costing you a small / large fortune.
Pens are not refillable so if you are going to be colouring in, find a pen more suitable for this cause the ink can run out rather fast if you are shading in large areas, these are more for drawing the lines into a simple drawing or at a push shading simple small areas to highlight your attention towards something.
Dont muddle up the pen lids, this can create a massive headache trying to find the right colour later when you just want to shade something red for example and its secretly under the green pen lid cover (my sister got a lecture from me for doing just this haha)
These are a very nice pen to add to a collection of artist material which you would use on a daily basis if you are in university or a design job. well worth a buy if your looking for a good price for usability.
A keyboard which is meant for music is abit up for debate, the reason i had to purchase this one was down to my old keyboard's buttons got damaged so i needed a cheap replacement, Yes this keyboard is still working a few years down the line but its getting to the point where if i had the spare cash i would replace it without a second thought. The reason this is classed as a music keyboard is due to the numerous keys which you can find around the outside of the keyboard. Most of these now are broke and wont work, thus making this a "Logitech NON Media SO NOW PRETTY MUCH NORMAL keyboard" not as catchy name i know.
Price and Availability
I bought this keyboard from my local computer shop which is just down the road from me, however you can still buy this keyboard online for around the 12 pounds region, that's not a bad price for keyboard these days however i think there is better to be found out there if you are to look around. For 12 pounds your really dont get alot for your money, the keyboard can pick up dirt very easily and then it becomes a pain to try and clean and the keys can break so easily without even using them. its really not something i would recommend to anyone. Below is where you can buy this item from for the best price which i found.
amazon shop - 12.00
(sorry for not having a lot on the price and availability section of this review, if you have any questions dont hesitate to message me)
Appearance and Design.
The look of the keyboard is rather professional, the whole keyboard is a matte black and the buttons all have a similar style towards them expect the "music" buttons round the outside. these are long and silver to try and stand out from the rest of the design. The keys have a rather nice feel when pushed they all seem to click and you are aware that you have pressed it which makes touch typing that whole lot easier. The keys are laid out like you would expect and how you would find all the other keyboards. The number keys to the right and the F buttons along the top. simple stuff.
On the back you will find two pull down tabs which give you the option to make the keyboard stand a little more upright so the keys lay flat , but for me i feel that the best way to make the most of this is to be able to put them away and have the keyboard laid flat on the base of what it is made from so the keys have a small tab up lifting at the end of each key so i can still touch type with ease.
Now onto the music keys, these are the biggest let down of the keyboard. ive never had much use for the as the skip track and play/stop buttons only work with windows media player, this isnt what you need in a PC keyboard when the main music player is now iTunes which means you cannot use them for that option, you then have the Back and Stop buttons to the left .. these dont work properly and now they have decided to stop working altogether. However on the plus side there are 6 buttons which still want to work, these are the volume buttons which work with all program's as this effects the volume of the PC and not the speakers, These can come in hand y if you want to mute the music why you take a quick call however you will miss the song.
The other three buttons are the Outlook Express button, this would be great if i used that program, but i dont, so that's pointless for me, the second button is of a small picture of a house, this loads up your internet browser and brings up the homepage, this is a nice feature but one that i frequently forget to use and i always end up just clicking with my mouse instead. However its nice that Logitech have left me with the option there in case i ever feel like a change. and the last button is of a calculator, this can come in handy when you want to quickly add up some new numbers and get some quick math in there, instead of having to scroll through all the start menu to get there quickly. These all work and can come in handy from time to time, but that's only when i remember to use them.
The rest of the keys are working fine and ive had no other problems with this keyboard, the installation was completely fine. same as my screen, plug in and play, however i think that if you were going to go for quality over the price then something a little more flashy wouldn't go a miss!
A nicely designed keyboard but with a few technical problems that could have been ironed out before it got in front of us reviewers! if your looking for something which is good value for money then this is the keyboard but dont expect it all to work in a few years time... something which technology personally should be doing at this current age with how advanced we are!
This is a screen which really meets the needs of what im looking for when it comes to buying a screen, the only down side to this screen is that it aint HD and does not give of perfect picture quality when trying to watch things on the internet in HD quality. Apart from that the screen fits the bill perfectly, the screen is 19" and has a very resolution, showing everything on there in a above average standard to what you would be used to. There is a VGA port on the back so you are now able to plug this into some DVD players if that's capable aswell. The main use for this port would be to plug into your computer but the option is there if you would like it.
Price and Availability
I'm not 100% sure when it comes to the price of this PC screen cause when i got mine i got it in a package deal with the PC itself. Ive search around the internet for prices on this one for you guys but i am unable to help you out with that apart from one which i found which is selling so far for 10 pounds on eBay with only 1 bidder on it. You may get lucky and find more if you look around enough but that price for this screen is a bargain of a buy!
If i had to guess what the price of my screen would have worked out to be it would be around the 80-100 marker as the computer package back in the day was only around 800 and i think i recall paying extra for the bigger and better screen, it was worth it aswell if you ask me. stick to my motto, play big or go home.
Appearance and Design.
The appearance of this screen is rather nice considering how old it is, the silver out side skirt of it finishes of the screen rather well but it would have looked alot nicer if it was in a black colour, however with a black stand at the bottom which is designed rather well it supports the whole screen with ease, its a static bottom which cannot be twisted but it can tilt up and down depending on the height of the person using the screen... i guess that with it not being able to twist, that's one less thing to break on screen. The frame round the outside stays the same width all the way which keeps the screen looking right and then below the centre bottom where you would find the "acer" logo there is the five buttons which all have there purpose, the on/off button being the main one with a small green light to let you know when you have pressed it to turn on as the screen has about a 10 second warm up period... this button also turns to amber when the screen is on standby so you know you need to turn it off. You then have the 4 other buttons which are the menu buttons which are there to help you locate around the screen.
The menu isnt the easiest thing to operate around, as upon pressing the menu button you are met with 10 little pictures which show symbols which dont really make much sense. These range from the contrast which is a sun like image which is half white and half black .. then to a square which has the letter I in the center ... until you play around with these they dont really make much sense. I didnt find it that hard to get used to as there is a reset button so each time you mess up you can easily reset the whole lot, this is what i managed to do.
I found this rather easy to install, it was as simple as taking it out the box and then just plugging in the VGA cable and the computer found the screen automatically. it was just with that PC as it was bought with, this also happens with other PC's as i have been through my fair share! i have also manged to make this screen work with my mac book pro! which is excellent and gives you that extra option to increase your screens which you can play with!
The design of this screen must be rather good as i have had this for years now and im still waiting for my first dead pixel, this actually shows that the screen is of great screen quality! its had its fair share of knocks and bangs and still going strong, something we just expect from "acer" these days as there starting to become a well known electrical brand now.
The screen is easy to install if your new with technology as its just a simple plug and play style device however even for the more advanced there is still some options you can tinker with to make the screen perfect for the needs of yourself, its not the most advanced screen so if you want the best of the best keep looking, personally for me it has everything i needed in a screen at the time and has lasted me many years since. Very good buy looking back now.
Not a bad television which you can find at a reasonable price, i bought this for my bedroom as once i played my playstation 3 on a HD television there was no way i could go back to standard quality. So i shopped about and for a bargain price of 130 pounds i located this at my local electrical store, and what a bargain it turned out to be.
Price and Availability
You can find this television mostly online, as the electric shops try to advertise the much larger ones before they do with these, however you can still find them in places such as comet and curry's. If you ask for this model im sure a shop assistant would be able to get you towards one of these straight away.
If you search around the internet you will normally find little shops and online stores will sell these at the best offer which is where i got mine from, from a quick look online i have only managed to find prices from these two companies which seem to be rather high considering what you can find for that sort of money now.
Considering you can now find a 42" television for just over 300 there would be no point in spending this sort of money on a smaller television unless you are thinking more about the size then the price, but then you would spend less money and get a more correctly priced TV for the style.
Appearance and Design.
The appearance of the TV is very nice, its a very simple design which a clean glossy black plastic finish around the whole of the TV, the base of the stand is a flat disc with the support beam which sits nicely into the back of the television, however the bottom plate picks up dust very easily and shows so you have to constantly clean the base of this otherwise it ruins the whole appearance of the device.
The screen of the TV has a very nice and simple out side black frame which decorates it with a hint of class and makes it look like what you would expect a screen of that amount of money to look. The brand "Samsung" is printed below the screen to let other people who see your screen know so ti advertises for them then just below that when the screen is turned on you are able to see a small blue light strip which makes you appear of this, the main purpose is if the TV is on standby i guess so you are then able to see what is going on.
The back of the TV has quite a few ports so you are able to plug in the wires to run DVD players etc and these are all easily labeled, even if you do have any problems they are labeled rather well when it comes to the manual that you get in the box. The ports that are available are two HDMI ports, DVI-D port and a VGA port. If this cant accommodate all the ports that you need to have into the back of the TV there are adapters that you can now purchase to be able to add extra's in there. if you want ease of use then maybe look around a little longer.
The screen is a 23" crisp techni colour which displays perfect HD when watching movies and delivers no delay in sound to screen quality. the explosions on movies feel quite alot real as the sound quality is also near perfect for me personally. Overall the screen resolution and sound quality from this TV stand up to what you would expect from Samsung. no disappointments here.
The remote is rather easy to use the top half has all the normal buttons which you would expect to find on a remote, the buttons to select the channel the sound buttons and the source button where you can choice between the selection of cables that you placed into the ports on the back of the screen. The bottom half then becomes more complex for those who aint the best when it comes to technology. These are highlighted with a more colour co-ordinated theory, and this makes them alot more confusing, im normally fine with technology but i found myself baffled by these at first until i started to have a little play around with them.
If at the end of the day you are still madly confused by this little hand held device, look through the instruction manual there is an in depth view on what you want to see in there and how you can best use each of the buttons which are there at your disposal. IF YOU STILL STRUGGLE ... then call up the help line and im sure they will be able to help you (after much faffing around on the phone)
Quite a nice TV for the price, when you can find it for a special offer like i did at 130 pounds online with free delivery you cant really go wrong, it does everything you need it to and more.
This is a new aftershave which the rents got me for Christmas as a joke because one day i was out in the shopping centre and i needed some more underarm roller, then i seen the old spice deodorant, so i thought you know what, the advertisement made me laugh, ill give them a chance. (im easily persuaded)
This then led to me getting this at Christmas to go with the underarm spray. Personally ive only wore this aftershave a few times cause it reminds me of sort of a medicine smell mixed with the smell which you get when you open the cupboard at home which is full of the mixed herbs and spices. The fragrances are a rather strong smell which can stick with you all day but its rather over powering when you first put it on.
Price and Availability
The price of this aftershave is a very cheap price compared to what you would be used to paying, if you need to smell like a doctors for some reason then this is the aftershave for you. I would defiantly recommend that you test this aftershave before you purchase it cause it would have to be a very distinct taste in smells for this to be very popular, hence the price tag. This aftershave is alot harder to get hold off, however if you are willing to go online and look on there or go to places which will sell the cheaper aftershaves such as superdrug then you would find this.
Again here are a list of the best prices i could find, there will be others out there if this aftershave really takes your fancy...
Asda - 4.00
Boots - 8.99
Chemist direct - 7.15
Appearance and Design.
The box and the bottle are a very simple design, the best way to describe this would be to call it minimalist. The bottle is a simple white out coat which the title of the brand printed on the front and then symbols which you would find on the back of all aftershaves and all that sort of small print is on the back, these are printed in the red colour which you seem to associate with the old spice brand that you can find these days.
You can also find that the top of the bottle where you would normally find a fancy spraying device or an over decorative lid top to stop the aftershave spilling out you can then find this bottle has a very basic peg like action, not the best way to draw people into wanting to buy it as the presentation is key to selling in modern day society, however i guess it does the job and with it being so cheap, keeps there turn over at a high end of the spectrum.
The bottle isnt one that would draw you attention into straight away as its not very eye catching with its simple red box design, for some reason there is like a sail or something along them lines on the front cover, i feel like this is something to do with the advert where he says hes on a boat, im not sure how this links to the smell or style of the aftershave but hey, reason behind the madness again.
If you are looking for some cheap aftershave which may meet the smell needs of you many men out there then this is one which is worth a look into, the simple design cheap the cost down. I wouldn't recommend personally because i would rather spend the little extra and get something which is more to my taste in after shave. If you however are arrogant and persistent that you want this, test before you buy, i cant stress that enough.
Paco Robanne: One Million, is an aftershave which is now one of my favorite, the only way to discribe the smell would be fruity, it has a smell which for obvious reason after smelling it makes the women love it, it has a very summer feel about, with it also being such a robust aftershave, it says with you all day and continues to keep you smelling fresh and feeling like "da man"
Price and Availability
The main place to get this from with and with any aftershave/perfume would be from boots in my opinion, but there are other places such as superdrug and your super markets if there a big enough store, for a decent price of around 30 pounds you can find this pretty easily, you know its a popular aftershave due to when you go on nights out and you have that guy who stands in the bathroom saying to you that if you dont accept some you wont get any attention from the ladies.
I took this mans advice and my word he was right, man of wisdom right there for you. This is the reason i went out and bought this. Its easy to see up on the shelf as the box and bottle itself is a bright shiny gold colour which draws your attention towards it and makes you want to pick it up. Theirs no mistaking it for any other aftershave.
Here are some of the best prices i was able to find when looking around the internet to try help you guys out when selecting.
John Lewis 30.83
House of Fraser 35.00
Appearance and Design.
The box that this aftershave comes in is a very shiny and clean box, with it being all gold and the very simple and recognizable design placed on the front, The large number one is placed above the simple San Serif front which says "Million" then a very fancy swirl placed below all of this, this combination of the image, to type all flows to each other very simply and does it with class and style especially with it being embossed into the bottle, this for me is a very nice touch but maybe that's only because im a graphic designer. Although the box and the look of it does look rather cheesy and abit trashy, it still carries some class due to it being brought out by a high recognizable company and having such a nice smell helps this aswell. I think the main focus for them was to make it stand out from the crowd.
The spray mechanism is a nice little touch cause then you know how much you need to put on and you aint overdosing everyone around you with the likes of the 100ml bottle, this one is very hard to estimate how much you need to put on cause its a tip and pour style bottle. The best thing about the spray is a simple spray on the neck on each side then rub onto the cheek area then one on the wrists and rub together, some people say that's a very camp way of applying aftershave but isnt the purpose of it to be able to smell it when you walk past people and those are the heat points on the body. makes sense right?
This is a nice aftershave that if you can find for less than 30 pounds is worth spending the money on, test it on your own skin before you purchase though as it can have a different smell on different peoples bodies as it will mix with your own scent at the same time.
Try it out and see whats it like for you. Very nice and i would recommend to any that i dont know as i dont want to be going out with my mates smelling the same, thats just creepy!
This for me personally is the best hand held game device that it out to date, the psp and all the other small hand held gaming technology just dont have the same impact on me as this does, its easy to play with, light, the charge can last a very long time and you can play for hours on the mass variety of games that are on offer!
Price and Availability
You can find these now from around the 80 - 100 pound region, its pretty simple to purchase and you'll normally get it with a start pack which will come with the case the games and extra screen touching stick things. Very Very easy to locate and get, once you get it out the box its as simple as plug in and play. easy stuff.
As this is older technology then the rest of the hand held consoles that are out to date you can see how easy they are to be able to make the most of this as most shops will almost guarantee to have this in stock, the best place that i found was PC world or Argos. Argos you will normally find some of the best deal packages in my opinion as there so easy to locate and get delivery for, i got mine at Christmas cause i was always on the go, it came with a variety of games and extras which really made this that little bit better for me.
Appearance and Design.
My Ds is black in colour and looks sweet, ive had this now for around two years maybe more, my memory aint great, and still no marks on it of wear and tear which is a very good thing. all the buttons are still working and it gives off a very strong look that its going to stay that way. Everything on this console sits very neatly into the outta package and from a glance when the screen is shut its very compact and easy to move around when your on the go.
The games can click easily into the back which lets you know when you are putting it in, this is a secure fit and doesn't mess around when it comes to trying to make them fit right, unlike the way of the old Nintendo where the games used to stick out of the top, making it look untidy and a hassle when it came to holding the Nintendo as it just made things more awkward for you.
When you lift up the lid as you can see above its all very compact and placed in the best possible place for you to game your little heart out. There are two screens, the top is a screen for viewing which has a back light so you can play in the dark when your in bed or if your sat in the back of a car waiting to arrive at your destination. The bottom screen is the touch pad where on most games which you get on this console, they all use this where you can move the character around on this pad and it gives a more hands on approach which lets you feel more in touch with the game. The rest of the buttons are then laid out so you are able to hold the device properly and play in comfort and ease.
Fantastic little hand held device for when you want to play something that little bit different or your in bed and you just want to do some brain training before you get some shut eye!
This is a very very good TV for the price that we got it at, we got it for around 400 in the winter sale. i have no idea how the winter period effects the price of a television but hey there you go, maybe cause its cold and you want to sit in the house and watch TV more. im sure there is reason behind the madness.
The tv is a very sleek and clean cut design, there's no need to faff around when it comes down to looking into other televisions, you dont need to look further. this has a easy to set up system, all the ports that the world can need in the back and you can plug all your devices into it easily which then are picked up and work straight away! what more can you demand ? nothing that's right.
Price and Availability
We got ours for around the 400 region, although after looking at the price comparison section they appear to be going for alot higher, its understandable as it is an excellent quality product for the price that you are going to be paying. For the 550ish price that you will pay, you get the remote, all the according wires and luckily if your fluky enough you will be able to get a hd DVD player with it aswell, this makes the amount that you need to pay so much better.
You should be able to find this TV in most of your stores such as curry's and PC world, however if your lazy and you cant be bothered to leave the house, you would be able to find this on the internet, you would be better off doing this however as you are able to find better deals online aswell and also you are able to get vouchers and coupons online that can save you on the delivery costs and all the small extras that shops try to charge you so you are then able to get "alot more for your dollar" as some would say.
Appearance and Design.
This TV is amazing when it comes down to the look of it, its slim which means its very easy to find a place for it to stand, the bottom also has a twist feature so if your the only one watching the TV in the room but the other seats for some reason have been took up then dont worry as you can then twist the screen so that it can face directly at you and your mind can be blown from the HD effects that happen whilst watching your movie. The section under the TV is the small blue light which lets you know that it switches on and off and where you need to point the remote at it so you can switch channels.
With all the TV being black it can easily fit into any room and blend in and still keep the class and style that the TV carries with it, we would expect nothing less from LG. The remote is a very easy use device which does have alot of buttons on however these all are explained in the small manual that you get when purchasing this god like item. The buttons are big so that if you have fat fingers like me you dont have to worry about pressing more then one at a time, Unlike old televisions where your family would normally have to collect certain remotes for each digibox that all had loads of wires linking them all together, this is different you can now control everything with the one remote as the digibox / freeview box is linked into it.
Yes you still need to keep the sky remote aswell to work that but still it keeps the hassle of finding new batteries for all the different remotes! excellent design if you ask me.
All the ports on the back of the television are clearly labeled so even if your of the older generation you wont have any problems trying to figure which one goes into each section, as soon as you plug them in they work without having to program them or anything like that. really really simple stuff.
The screen quality is amazing, due to its 1080p (full hd) design which can produce 1920 x 1080p picture resolution meaning that its the most crisp and vibrant colours you will see on a TV, this is a massive improvement on the standard picture quality that you would get from a big old TV box that you would find back in the old days. This allows you to be able to feel like your really in the game of blue ray DVD that your watching, once you watched it there's no way you can go back to the old television as it just ruins films and picture quality
Very good television with alot of options to add the extra DVD players and all that sort of thing into the back, there's no way you will get bored of this TV and in the life span that you have it, it will do very well with keeping you up to date. However if you are the type of person who always want to have the latest gadget and gismo then i would recommend that you go for the 3D TV's as there new on the scene and will start to dominate once they are perfected.
I used to have this phone a while back and i just pulled it out as im trying to clear space from my room, to be honest with you i was not impressed at the phone when i first had it, there were numerous problems when trying to achieve simple tasks, ranging from the scroll button which is meant to be this phones key sell feature, to having problems seeing the screen when the light hit it wrong due to the mirror effect they placed on it.
Price and Availability
You can find this phone online now for around 80 - 100 pounds, when i first had the phone it was on contract with 100 minutes and 300 texts, when i was younger this was ideal for me and met all my needs, however i grew up i realized this was a stupid phone and i was being ripped off with this contract, hence why i changed.
Back in the day you could find this phone anywhere in all the variations of the phone shops, however today there not there anymore unless you go to places such as CEX or other style shops like this one. You could properly find this phone online now, such as eBay or other second hand selling sites as people are not to fond of buying this phone any longer as there are better and cheaper phones out there.

The phone aint the worse looking of the technology group, with its sleek mirror front mirror design which eventually came to give me problems on a sunny day, stopping me seeing what was on the screen, there is also the slider button in the centre which is the key outlook for this phone. this is used to scroll through the menus and select what you want to click as its also used as the main button!... the problem with this was it wouldn't scroll at first but then all of a sudden after much irritating scrolling it would decide to work and then flick past what you wanted it to really quickly, and then freeze again. perfect way to ruin you day.
The buttons on the other hand are not to bad, as you can clearly press them and they unlike other phones create a distinct action when you do so as you can feel them click down below your fingertips, so no problem with them here, they are quite close together so if you do have fat fingers this could then create a problem and you could possibly press more then one and this would make the phone utterly useless.
The camera is only 2 mega pixels which means it aint the best quality, however it does have a flash which means you can snap some of them shots in the dark. There are much better phones out there now and i would not recommend coming back to this one as its old and outdated.
This phone is not worth buying, ive had more problems with it then it was worth, there are much better out there now which you can find and get stronger use out of, overall i recommend staying from this one and go for the blackberry / htc or iphone that are there today.
Basically as it stands, ive never been a fan of hot drinks expect a caramel hot chocolate with cream from Starbucks. This was down to the rich and sweet taste which i got from the drink, however every time someone puts the kettle on and makes a cup of tea, my taste buds have started to tingle, making me want to try a hot drink but i never have!
How I tried my first mug
I'm at university at the minute and all my flat mates moved out a week ago as my course went on longer than theirs does so i was stranded here alone, before they all left, they came up to me with a goody bag of gifts and they said it was to "help me through the week" there was some nice little treat items in there but more to the point Asda, earl Grey tea bags!
One day bordem got the better of me, so as you do when you get bored you start to nose around for something to eat! i opened the box and they smelt incredible, so that's how i came to having my first cup of Earl Grey which i loved! ... maybe it was the smell and simple packaging that drew me in, as im a graphic design student and love things looking simple and sleek, However with my first cup of tea i had to have three sugars with it to make me be able to handle it (so it was more like sugar with a touch of tea!)
However im working on getting it down so its back to the crisp flavour that this drink can offer. You can easily sit back and enjoy a cup of Earl Grey, makes it even better when its cold outside and you can sit and look outside. Yeah i sound like a really old type of guy, but man does drinking this make me feel manly haha!
Price wise this is an excellent buy, at 1.50 for 100 tea bags, what more can you ask for, that's an average of 1.5p per teabag. that's a bargain for 10 minutes worth of relaxation, i will defiantly be getting these when i get back home as it has already started to drum itself into my head that i really like these enough to just be sat at the PC writing these reviews and think "Earl Grey Marty ?" ... "why not brain, great choice!"
The packaging is a very simple and clean cut design which can stand out for me personally as that's the sort of thing that my eye gets drawn to, with me being a graphic designer. However maybe not the most amazing thing for everyone, but seriously what can you expect for 1.5p a teabag, look at it this way ... where else can you have the feeling of flying on a fluffy cloud with a blazing hot sun beaming on you (metaphorically) for 1.5p ?
Very tasty and at a bargain price, if your a fan of peppermint or chamomile tea then its worth giving this a go
This is a game which i was long excited for and had alot of hope for it hitting the shelf's as being as satisfying as the hype was making it out to be! for most people they got alot of buzz from this and it made them as happy as a five year old on Christmas day! ... however for me, not so much, the game play seems way to similar to the play of modern warfare 2 and there wasn't any huge changes to the game, in terms of the game play and what was promised a long time ago! maybe this was down the break up in the team, when they split it kinda left call of duty black ops at a dead end (in my opinion)
Price and Availability.
You can find this very easily these days for around 28 pounds new on amazon ... you can get it even cheaper if you are willing to go for a pre-owned copy which are normally in very good condition if you get them from game or some place like that! you always get the chance to return them aswell, this is a very good offer not to pass up and is well worth looking at, cause im assuming that your reading this review to help you to save money and see if its good enough .. hey im a nice guy im helping you do both!! ha

Depending on the set that you got will depend on how attractive your game will look on arrival
There was a collectors edition, there are two types from this of what i can remember, one set had a set of high power army standard night vision goggles, really cool personally, the second set had a RC car which you can control. this would make more sense once you have played the game (if you aint played it yet, its a kill streak where you literally control the car around the map and can blow it up when you get near the enemy)
The box that the game in is just a classic ps3 game case which is rather rounded on the corners and made with a strong plastic which can resist tumbles down stairs (first hand research went into that, not on purpose however) this then when clicked open would have what you expect to find inside a game case, a strong designed CD looking the same as the front cover. this mean ass man on the front holding his two secondary weapons and then the primary's on his back, you cant see his face which adds the mystery concept to the look of this! and then you can see he is an army man which wants to deliver some pain ... aka your main character in the game.
The back is full of the standard info trying to get you to buy the game in the shop if you aint already done this, if you have dont look there full of spoilers and will just bring the game down by a rating off 0.1 stars! The CD is sat on the right in its little protecting circle area and then the booklet of information for people who dont know how to put a CD into the CD tray is there, it gives you advice on the controls and sections of the game which could lead to great problems if its your first time on a ps3 game! This is all pretty standard stuff which you would expect to find in all the CD cases and of course this is all made to a high standard, call of duty franchise would never let us down!
In Game Play
OK so as you start the game a cute little video plays where you get to see little insights into what your mind is going to be opened up to and what to expect from this game! Once you have spent a few minutes watching the opening video you will then be able to go into the menu and choose what you would like to do, now i cant remember if you have to set up the colour balance before this point or not. it would seem like the type of thing that the call of duty franchise would make you do as i remember this from the past few games. If it doesn't prompt you to do this then go and do it now ... it makes the game so much better!
So here we are again. at the menu, you have choices from three game types at the moment, these being...
ok so this mode is for when your feeling like having abit of a story line going on and you want to be able to follow this through to the end and try to do the best you can when under certain missions and you have to complete objectives, this for me is very fun and a wicked way to start the game as you may struggle to get used to playing online when you play with some absolute pro's ... this is where you will play as a certain guy and reveal a story as you go along! (cant really say to much as i dont want to spoil the game if you aint already played it) ... the game play and graphics for this section are incredible, however i would recommend that you set it to the hardest possible setting as once your in the game you want it to be as realistic as possible and really make you struggle to progress and push you to your limits, when playing if you get to a section which you cant do on the hardest setting then you can simply press start and turn the setting down so you can get past that section ... BUT BE WARNED YOU CANNOT SWITCH THE DIFFICULTY BACK UP IN GAME.
There is a few days worth of game play in the campaign mode, but if your a hardcore gamer like i am then you will only have to play fro about a night and you will have completed it! i made the mistake of not doing it on the hardest setting first time round thus completing it that fast! learn from my mistake!
OK so this mode is where the real action is at, the way that people play this game really comes down to performing in this area of the game, to show off your skills and kill other "noobs" you can really spend hours on this area of the game, there are so many choices of the game to play, ranging from Team death match where you would work with a team and try to get 7500 points by killing the other team before there team reaches this outcome... Free for all, which is based around every man for himself, this is bedlam, you constantly find yourself in areas where there are more then 2 people leaving you with having to make quick decisions on which person is the biggest threat and who you have to take out first! dont choose wrong or you'll effect you KD (kill death ratio) and you'll get mocked for it!
There are 14 maps not including the down loadable content, this means there is alot to keep you busy and the maps get chosen at random when playing but you have some power to vote as your able to choose out of two random maps which come up .. or a random map which leaves it all down to chance if the two maps that come up dont tickle your fancy!
As before the reward and unlock system of this game stays the same, the more kills you get and the longer you play the more stuff you get to play with... its kinda like a sweet system and you feel greatly appreciative of it ... you can also modify your guns scopes and camouflage leaving the visual parts of your player down to you! very nice added touch!
Finally there is the section which is classed as wager matches. these are places where the money that you can spend on upgrading you can go and gamble it against other players and try to win there money from them. the best section of this for me is called Gun Game. there are variation of 20 guns to scroll through and every time you kill another player you go onto the next gun! if you get stabbed you drop a gun! very entertaining as it turns into a race who can kill who the fastest and before you know it your all in a blood bath ranging from pistols to shotguns to snipers to rocket launchers! Hours of fun in this section!
This is a mode my little brother is obsessed with, you basically have a choice of 4 maps which in turn can get very repetitive, you work with 4 other players and have to survive as long as possible, this sounds easy. trust me its not, the reason i hate this mode is i always get destroyed by the zombies as i get stuck at dead ends or something as stupid as that and there's that many they just overwhelm you! ... fun to play with your mates cause it takes some serious team play to be able to keep on top of things! I think this was a great idea to add this to the game as it just adds more and more to be able to do whilst playing the game hence making it more in demand and making call of duty more money!
The best part about this is you can split screen it when your mates are at your house and still play online aswell! this just makes the game more diverse as i just said!
I could add so much more to this review! its a game which is very addictive when played with mates online or even online if your feeling like shooting some bad guys! if you aint already played this game get on it. or wait for the next one to come out.
IF YOU WANT ANY MORE INFORMATION OR ANYTHING ON THE GAME JUST DROP ME A MESSAGE, IM MORE THEN HAPPY TO HELP!
Ive had contacts for quite some time now and have had to use this little contraption on a daily basis, i have had some down sides about this and ill explain these in the sections i have allocated below.
Price and Availability
You can get hold of these very easily, you can buy them online if you need to get another one but the easiest and cheapest way to get hold of one of these would be to go into specsavers or wherever your get your contact lenses from and simply ask for another case as they are more then likely to give you a spare one. I once lost mine and went in and asked for another case as my old one had broke, They handed one straight across as without this i would have to keep my contacts in and this would damage my eyes more then they already are!
After looking on eBay you can buy three of these cases for 99p then approx a 1.99 postage and packaging charge so these can then be delivered in neat condition, so that's basically working out that its like. 3 pounds for a new case each month of the prescription if your the same as me and get your lenses sent to you quarterly.
Appearance and Design.
The case is a rather simple design, yet does everything that it needs to do! it has a simple screw top design which holds the fluid in rather well yet can leak sometimes if you try to carry around in your pocket (as i did today) When you unscrew and then pull of the top of this device you can see that inside is like a nice to open device where you can place the contacts on each side and trap them in. One side is labeled R and the other L, this is a handy little extra as this can help if you have some sort of eye infection. you will keep it only in that eye until its treated where if you were to muddle up the contacts it would be transferred alot easier from eye to eye! You can then snap these shut and screw the lid back on, thus leaving the contacts encased in there cage which is then submerged into the fluid to keep them soft and ready fro the next days use.
The case is just shy of an inch in diameter and about one and a half inches in height, this is a very small compact neat way to keep them safe and when your taking out and placing your contacts into this each night you will then be able to place this on a shelf and keep it safe!
You need to make sure that you clean this daily as if you dont it can risk a chance of getting an infection and there is nothing more attractive then having an eye throwing out some juice and gunk all over the place! a simple was in warm water. then left to dry naturally. then filled with fresh solution has kept my eyes working to the best of there ability so far! i wouldn't worry to much about if you miss a single day but i would recommend that you keep on top of this the best you can so you dont take the risk!
Handy little device which you get free each month, but i only get one in my pack, it would be nice to have 3 so you could have a new case with every fresh pair of contacts, just to make sure things stay extra healthy as there isnt anything worse then having to risk an infection when it comes to something as important as your eye sight!
With my new found manliness i have grew this beard which yeah it needs trimming and keeping on top of unless i want to look like the local hobo!... i remember when i was younger and all i went on about was how i wanted facial hair to look older, now ive got it. WOW its a pain in the rear and it needs constant attention, its worse then having a family pet... so this is where i was left with the problem of having to buy a facial trimmer!
i didnt want to have no facial hair as it made me look so young and stupid! i looked around for quite some time before finding this trimmer which was a bunch cheaper then the rest of its competitors. this worried me as something that cheap cant be as good right ?. i took the risk and bought it as i trusted in the brand name and went home with fingers crossed and hope in my mind!
Price and Availability
Being able to find this item was very easy, i bought mine from comet i think it was, ive had mine a good 6 month now and at the point of purchase i got mine on offer for 20 pounds (hence the worrying feeling), you would be able to spot this on amazon or eBay without trouble and then shipping costs and what not would bump the price up yes, but if your wanting something really simple and something which does exactly what it says on the tin then this is right for you.
Appearance and Design.
The appearance of the hand held shaver is very nice. it fits comfortably in your hand and you dont have to worry about faffing around trying to pick the different head ends or anything like that as it only comes with one! Also when you open the pack you get an assortment of different items which help you keep it clean and would make it last longer in the long run, the first item i pulled out was the small brush like object which helps you to wipe away those crafty hard to reach hairs which could slow down the motor, then there is also the comb you get with it to be able to brush you beard! (this actually defeats the object of the trimmer for me, cause it just makes me want to grow a massive beard so i can brush it like some evil master mind!)
All of this can fit into the very neat fabric case that you get, so once you are finished trimming and looking neat you can then put this back into the case and keep it safe and all together for next time! The only item which wont fit into the case is the charger for the trimmer as this is a wireless rechargeable trimmer.
Ease of Use
There are 9 lengths which you can trim at with this device. the best way to be able to see this is through the small window like part on the front which shows the number very small so you can see which length setting that you are about to trim at, so you could use these for a shorter length on the sides then a longer section for the beard if your feeling crazy (how thoughtful of these guys/gals down at Remington) ... The on/off switch is on the side and is a simple slide device where you can flick it on with the simple push of one finger, this makes it very comfortable to hold as when shaving you dont have to worry about pressing the off button which i have done sometimes in the past using previous shavers!
Precision is the key, if you take off the length setting on the top you can then use the precision section of this trimmer which lets you get a clean cut edge even better then just using the big bulky trim section. this for me has come in very handy for getting the stray hairs which you will find around the nose section and under the chin when i haven't pulled my face taught enough! this can all be cleaned really easily aswell .. a quick sweep of the brush and your in business and can get back to being the shaving master that you are/wanting to be!
Charging the item is as easy as reading a biff and chip book. you literally just plug it in the bottom and leave it for a few hours it will then have charge for 30+ hours of use, which is weeks and weeks of time (unless your an ape then maybe a good week!)
A very good shaver for the money, the only let down that i can see is that it doesn't self clean, (but now im just being picky) to have one at that level however would take alot more money, and the reason that this one feels so good is down to the value for money that this offers!
