Like most men, I have been shaving since I was a young teenager, with varying degrees of success! To begin with I had some form of Wilkinson Sword which I did not like too much. Then I went on to the classic single bladed Bic disposable razors. These did not leave any whiskers but they did take a lot of my skin, so I am not too keen to use these again!
My shaving continued like this for many years, using razors which were not fantastic but did the job. It was not until I was at university that I had a conversation with a man twice my age who recommended the Gillette Fusion. I had disregarded it, seeing it was quite gimmicky. However, once I gave it a try I was hooked!
The five blades truly do give a close shave and leave me feeling very smooth for a long time after. The blades also seem to stay sharp for quite a while, lasting four or five shaves.
The fact that it vibrates seems a little pointless, I seem to get the same results with or without using it, though I mainly have it on.
The single blade on the reverse side of the head is quite good for getting the fiddly areas of ones face, though I would not recommend it for heavier stubble.
The main problem is that the blades are very expensive. In fact, I actually bought a different razor the other day as I did not want to spend so much on Gillette's blades. However, the new razor could not compete so I switched back. It's worth the expense!
A great razor that leaves a very close shave.
I bought this shampoo looking for something that was not too harsh on the scalp. I had been through many different brands and often found that after using them, I would have some flakes and also itching.
This all stopped when I started using Naked Shine Hydrating Shampoo. It must be because it contains 97% naturally occurring ingredients. Previously I would get an irritatated chest after using more common brands of shampoo but not with Naked. I would highly reccomend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin.
On top of that, this shampoo smells great. It is a light, refreshing and not too cloying smell unlike many mainstream brands.
Furthermore, my hair feels lovely! The shampoo has left it in great condition and so far, I have not had any build up, with is another problem encountered when using popular brands.
Overall, I think this is a shampoo that many other men would benefit from using, instead of ones aimed purely at the male market.
Well, I could review this fragrance in one word: Great!
I am not someone who usually wears Eau de Toilette mainly because there are so many that are overpoweringly strong, suffocating or just plain horrible! However, I found Allure Homme to be none of these things.
It is light, quasi-citrus smelling and has quite a complex and sofisticated aroma. This is one fragrance that is almost guaranteed to have people asking about it when you are wearing it. I was introduced to it after smelling on someone at a party!
It is rather expensive, at just under £50, but then this is a fairly accurate reflection of the average price of high street fragrance. Also, it is important to realise that a 50ml bottle will last a very long time, so viewed in that light it is not bad at all!
In summary, a classic Eau de Toilette that will be well received all round.
I bought this game expecting big things. I had played, and thoroughly enjoyed, the first instalment of Fable, so I thought that the second would be at least as good.
I began playing it and I was impressed to begin with. It does feel that the player has massive control over character development though this loses it's lustre rather quickly. The early levels are fun and the game has the promise of greatness. However, once I truly got going I was greatly disappointed by how quickly I managed to complete the game! And this is coming from someone who doesn't often play for long periods of time.
That aside, it is a great fun game and it's somewhat sweeter and more innocent than other games currently on the market. There are many other features to occupy the player, i.e. wooing prospective spouses, using rifle ranges and working as a bar tender.
One of the main issues I had with this game was that after playing it for a couple of days, the game kept freezing on the load screen and I was completely unable to play it. Very annoying considering the amount of time I'd spent playing it! I looked online and found others had had the same problem. The only way to fix it was to save the game onto my Xbox harddrive and play it from there. This wasn't too much trouble but nonetheless it was very irritating.
Well, I had put off buying one of these for a long time. I had used Sony MP3 player first but found the software cumbersome. I enjoy using iTunes so I thought that an iPod was the way to go.
I was drawn to it because of it's small size. It fits very easily in the pocket, which is especially important when carrying around things liek phones and wallets as well.
It is very easthetically pleasing. The fact that there is a multitude of colours available makes this even better.
The menus are easy to navigate, though the click-wheel can very occassionally be temperamental.
The screen is a great size and is definitely clear enough to watch TV shows and films on. This was one of the things I was worried about as it seems pointless to be able to view videos on if the quality is terrible.
The iPod automatically rotates the screen depending on how you hold it. I don't think this is very useful and can infact be annoying as it can take you away from the playback screen while listening to music, which then means you cannot change the volume while listening to music. This however is a very minor point and does not masasively detract form the overall product.
I bought these headphones when I was looking for somehting that was good quality as well as not too expensive. On both counts they have delivered!
These headphones have very good sound quality and greatly reduce the ambient noise going on around the listener. Not only does this mean that quality is improved but also that once can use less volume to drown out other noises, meaning that it is better for your ears. It also means that less sound escapes from the headphones and so you are less likely to annoy those around you! Furthermore, this reduced volume level means that the battery in your MP3 player lasts longer.
On top of this, these headphones fold up, making them far easier to fit in your pocket. This is extremely handy for commuters who need to store things in suit pockets.
The wire connecting the headphones to the MP3 player or walkman could od with being a tiny bit longer in order to be used with rucksacks et cetera, but that is not really a serious problem.
Overall, a very worthwhile product!
