Just woken up for the 3rd time middway this film. The other Boleyn Girl. I have been wanting to watch the film for a while. I had a few hours sapre this afternoon so though i'd watch a good movie. I scanned through my on demand movie programmes and saw this available. I though it might as well watch it. It seemed interesting... Sypnosis> A riveting, sumptuous, sensual tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal set h against a historical background. There's two beautiful sisters, Anne (Natalie Portman) and Mary Boleyn (Scarlett Johansson) are driven apart by their family's ambition, compete for the love of the handsome and passionate, King Henry VIII. The two sisters contend for the affection of King Henry VIII. I found the storyline very confusing at first. I couldn't make head or tale of what was going on. I ususally find this genre of films very entertaining and intreging, but on this occasion I am saddened to say that I wasn't. I mustn't fault the acting of this film, it was very good and the main characters playing by Portman and Johanasson where played really well. Both the charachters worked well off each other and portrayed a good working relationship throughout the film. Basically from what I can gather The other Boleyn Girl follows the story of both sisters and their time in the English court. King Henry VIII (Eric Bana) has trouble producing a male heir wth his wife, so Mr Boleyn offers their daughter Anne to bed - seedy huh..to the astonishemnt of his wife. When King Henry has a accident while hunting which was due to Annes stupidness, he is nursed by Mary, whom he falls for. Mary is married already, so the King promotes her husband and summons the couple to court - so he can meet with poor mary - for a bit on you know what.. whenever he feels. Mary eventually falls head over heels in love with King Henry and becomes his mistress. Anne, on the other hand, wants revenge as this was supposed to be her dirty deed. Eventually throughout the film, the sisters continue on in these roles for a short time, both swapping places in bed with King Henry and popping out babies while their family cheer them on. The sex scenes are not over the top just seedy scenes in a dark room with light back ground. It feels like the historical event which took place was a little melodramatic and didn't really cut it. The Other Boleyn Girl could be so much more than what it was made for. There's lots of material to cover in this story, but a simplie script would have helped keep this film away from melodramatic film it turned out.
You haven't lived until you've eaten this cheese. I tried this cheese at a cheese show. Sadly I've not seen anywhere I can buy it. Bacially black diamond cheddar is made from raw cows milk, then covered and cased in a black wax and aged a minimum of 2 years. It had a sharp, robust, tangy really cheesey flavour. It's so rich and strong you wouldn't want to go back to another brand. I do believe this is widely available in America, but not so in the UK. Howver than man at the cheese show said he had 1000 curds maturing, they wont be ready for 2-3 years so hopefully I'll see some soon. The cheese is high in fat I am told but flavour is so nice you really don't care. Black diamond cheese was Established in 1933 by Robert F. Hart. Historically and most recently, the cheese was dipped in hot wax to prevent mould growth on the rind and reduce shrinkage during the aging process. When the wax touched the rind, the wax immediately turned "Black". As a known 'Diamond' among cheeses for flavour and black on the outside the name "Black Diamond" was born. "Black Diamond" became the first branded name for Canadian cheddar cheese. You must get your hands on this !
I hate sandwhiches to take to work and prefer rolls for some reason. I tried Hovis rolls recently and was amazed, they're just fabulous. 2 rolls is enough to fill you up and you can put plenty of fillin n them without them falling apart. These rolls were so soft, and not staley like some rolls i've purchased. They tasted like a real bakers bread, didn't taste artificial or bland. Serving Size 1 Roll (74.0 g) Amount Per Serving Calories 206 Calories from Fat 20 % * Total Fat 2.2g3% Total Carbohydrates 37.7g13% Dietary Fiber 1.5g6% Protein 8.1g With a fat content like that you can eat them without feeling guilty too! The packaging on this product is a just a cellophane wrapper not over the top. The package contains all the nutritional information you need so you know whats in them. The bread in these rolls are white but you can get granary, wholemeal and best of both, so available for everyone! Overall a fanatastic roll :) oh and they're a bargain at £1.25 or tesco doing 2 for £2.
Tesco's in the only supermarket I really feel like I am rewarded for loyalty and spending my hard earned cash on! I do spent a lot in Tesco, groceries and petrol. Although it's nor tyhe cheapest of supermarkets, I like to get my £5 voucher every 3 months. I do like Tecso products and feel I can get alot for my money, I can oiften spend at lest 500-600 pounds every quarter. This does include petrol. Tesco Petrol is the cheaoest by far around this area. It does feel nice having your rewards from Tesco and the vouchers do come in handy for skint times. I aslo get money off vouchers like 25p off bread milk and fruit which is money saving. Sometimes I can entre a draw to win more points too. I changed my leccy to E-on and I get clubcard point there too! So even more loyalty. I aslo get green points for using my own bags, even though thye store staff give me an evil look when I take my ASDA carier bags in oops. :') Overall a fanstaic loyalty scheme in which you can save money and earn monye back off shopping .
I love this Samsung DVD recorder. It has a massive 160Gb hard drive so you can record alot on this product. Unfortunatley with the digital switchover in 2010 this product will be worthless because the reception is an Analogue tuner and will not receive digital channels. It has Progressive scan and DVD-RAM recording format. It also has 2 Scart sockets. The item is easy to use and isn't too big or bulky. It slips in nicly along with my other appliances by the tv. You can play DVD's and CD's in the product . Unfortunatley it doesn't have a Memory card slot and the Basic scart lead isn't included. It comes with a Remote control. The other great features are that you can Pause and rewind live TV, Its has 270 Maximum hard drive recording time (hours). The product also Supports interactive disc features. Overall this product is very good quality and I find ot very easy to use and get along with. It has many features and its very relaible. The quality is brilliant and the installation was simple.
I use this washing machine at home and I do find it very reliable. This Hotpoint 1200 spin washing machine has 'AA' graded washing and energy efficiency which is great for heloing to save my energy bills, it features an easy iron setting and a very wide opening door for ease of loading/unloading my washing. The product was very easy to install - well my partner did it so it looked easy. The machine is also quiet so it doesnt make such a racket when spinning. The machine as a lot of features to choose from with 16 washing programmes. It can hold 6kg of washing which is brilliant for when I have lots of washing to get through. It has a daily wash for items washed on daily basis which only takes 30 mins! The features are very easy to use just a flick of a knob and touch of a button and off you go. The design is good - not too technical and its very good quality. The machine has lasted 3 years and its very reliable. I purchased the machine at a reasonable £280 which wasn't too bad that wads from comet. All in all a good reailble machine.
I have recently signed up on Monster Jobs as I heard it was a good site. They basicaly find jobs for you, like you're head hunted. I created my profile and uploaded my own CV. They did give an option to build a CV, but I was happy with my own and wanted companies to see my own efforts and not some web designs bog standard one. Anyhow, I got daily alerts updatding me of jobs, I was looking for Admin based Jobs at the time. I must say I was pretty impresses with the reponse I got. But was disaapointed as well becasue most of the 'employers' where job agencies and I didn't really want to go through a direct angency. It did get annoying as at times I would get up to 6 calls a day and in the end I got confused with who was looking for what and I couldn't keep up. In the end I emoved my details as I got a bit tedious. I didn't realise you'd be bugged. Plus I didn't know who or what was genuine out there. I think in future I'd stick to looking for a job myself. Its easier and I can contact employers in my time not when it suits them. Not a bad concept but a bit ott.
Monesavingexpert.com is a godsend. It's a consumer based website oozing with hints and tip about how to.. we'll you've guessed it.. Saving Money! It's about consumers revenge and how to get through life without paying an arm and a leg for everything. I first came across MSE when I googles 'Bank Charge reclaim', up popped this website by a guy called Martin Lewis. I can't say I really heard much of Martin until he appereared on TV a couple of times and I must say he's a ledgend. I was presented with buckets on information on how to fight the banks to win your money back, I was impressed. I looked through other articles on saving money, like switching energy suppliers, earning cashback on good I bought online. Switching insurance, loans and mortagage rates, the best bank accounts. You name it .. anything financial yo'll find on MSE. I was very impressed with the cashback Idea, and i got loads of cash for simply switching utility bills - cashback sites are third party mind. I even signed up for email alerts, which you recieve money off vouchers. I managed to get £14 off a dominos pizza buy ordering online. This website is a godsend to UK consumers especially now the credit crunch and ression feelings are in the air. I joined up the MSE forums and the poeple on there are so freindly. You can gain so much advice on anything! Thanks Martin for sharing for knowledge and enthusiam with the UK public. Its great!
What a bunch of scammers. Basically Jamster provide thousands of, ringtones pictures and games for mobile phones, which you can download From the lastest chart sounds, to oldies too. They mainly advetise on the TV or on magazines. They were the brains behind the 'Crazy Frog' Epidemic back several years ago. Also behind the only popular tone of 'Sweetie chick'. It costs a couple of quid to download a ringtone or a game from Jamster, But please read the smallprint. If you do order a ringtone from Jamster, You'll be what's called subscribed to their services. If you have credit on your phone or if you're on a contract you'll get charged around £6 per week for using Jamster. This is charged within forms of text messages sent to your phone updating you of services. These messags are charged at £1.50 each, deducting the amount from your airtime or bill. This willcontinue every week, until you ask Jamster to be unsubscribed, which can be dififcult. Many young users of Jamster often end up loosing £100's pouns unknown to them per year because of this. Yes Jamster have the t&c's stating this on adverts, but often or not the t&c's are either too small to read, or shown very briefly. Or they are shown, but the distraction is led to the pathetic new range of ringtones on the tv. You'll be better off uploading your own music to the computer and then downloading it the to phone, its ALOT cheaper. Jamster are very underhand in their dealings as with most ringtone providers.

Its sleek, smooth aluminium shell hides plenty of clever features, like a 2 megapixel camera with video capture and playback, and video calling. And there's a built-in music player and Bluetooth. Nice! Camera resolution is 2 Mega pixels with Flash and 8x Digital zoom. Also has Video capture & Video playback. It has Loudspeaker and Music player. The Standby Time is Up to 9 days and Talk Time Up to 3.5 hours. Pretty impressive! The other great thing is that the Phone Book Capacity Dynamic, which means all the memory is Dynamic - if you've loads of pictures/pics/ games/ videos and tunes stored, the phone book will be smaller, whereas if you don't the phone book is bigger. It also comes with a 1GB memory card which can store 1000 minutes of music! Wow! It also boasts POP3 email client, so you can download your emails on the move. Its Quad band so you can use it almost any where in the world. It also has 3G functionality for music downloads - so you get the a lot faster than standard GPRS. So much packed ina small phone.
Sony Ericsson W580i Another great phone from Sony Ericsson, Rock your pocket with the Sony Ericsson W580i. Its perfect for taking your tunes and tracks on the move, with its built-in Walkman music player and expandable memory, so you can increase your memory as your music collection grows! How great its that. Plus theres a 2 megapixel camera - which sadly doesn't have flash, but you do get x2.5 optical zoom- also video capture, and Bluetooth, too. The great thing also is that the phone is Quad band so it can be used in Japan and other quad band networks. What you get: LOADS! o Handset o Battery o Stereo headset o Charger o 512 MB card o User manual Standby Time is Up to 370 hours and Talk Time is Up to 540 minutes. This is another walkman phone from Sony Ericsson, which is part of the W series range. It doesn't really set itself apart form the other walkman phones which are available. Although this is a nice slim designs with a slide up mechanism, it's versatile, easy to use and available in green or white. It retails at around £99.99 so it's good value for money for the product and features it carries. The phone itself, does feel quite flimsy, and there are reports of the keypad snapping or breaking, so this phone may not be very reliable. Technially speaking though it does have good features and if you're a music meastro this may be perfect for you.
Greasyplam is a really good cashback website. I have so far earned £350 in the last 8 months. Its really handy when it comes to buying insurance as you can get alot of cahsback from it. Once you've puchased a product through greasy palm, the cashback will be added to your account - either really quickly or taking a few weeks. once you've had the cashback added to your account, it needs to stay there for 30 days. Then the amount is Transferred to your bank via BACS at the beginging of each month. Min payout is £25 Its a really food way to earn more money. You can do short surveys to even earn cachback - fill out forms is a good way too. The website is very easy to use and is very friendly. Its easy to search for retailers where you can get cashback from too. Overall one of the best cashback websites around at the moment.
I purchased these phones after having so many cheap digital ones. I wanted to invest into some good digital Landline phone's. I chose this product on the basis that they looked nice, they had caller ID, colour display and they looked easy to use. I purchased them from Home Essentials at £45.00. At first I did enjoy using this produvt and found them relly easy to use. I loved the features. But I cant seem to get caller diaply to work. I can also send text messages to a mobile phone or anothre landline using these phones. The range is brillaint too - I have nebre had a problem. The disadvantages are that recenyley the volume on the phone has diminshed, even though the volume's at the highest I still find it hard hearing the persom on the other end - alspo the phone keep turning off and not chargin sufficiently. The phone's were really good, after 1yrs us I would expect them to remain at the same quality - but sadly not.
I had a so - so experience with Virgin Media. Basically I work for Virgin Mobile and sine Virgin Media took us over we benefited from Staff Deals. I got all 3 BB LL and phone for £15 p per month, all were the highest packages. I had them all on Telewest before the merge too. I had no problems before I changed to the staff tariff, my service was great and I had no problem at all. As soon as I chanegd to the staff tariff I had issues. I rang up 150 to speak to CS when my bill was wrong. They said as I am staff they cant talk to me and gave me this other number - 0845 - which cost and arm and a leg. My call ended up 30 000 miles away in Kula Lumpa and I spoek to some forgeign person, who couldn't understand a word I was saying. It was like thid all the time any issues I had to speak to these people who were as much use as chocolate fireguards. Eventually after 2 years I only wanted by TV package with Virgin Media as I moved BB and LL to aol for Laptop nad wireless. My TV was XXL with V+ Box. the day aftermy LL went to AOL, my VirginTV has shut down. I spoke to them and they said I couldn't have the TV without the LL. So I had no choice but to change it to non staff. I got my TV back but not V+ - despite having the v+ box already they insisted I had to pay £75 still! stuff em !
I joined AOL when the free laptop offer came out. Mainly because a) I wanted a Laptop and b) I wanted wireless broadband. I was with Virgin Media, but they wouldn't offer me wireless on a staff tariff. I simply applied for AOL broadband on the Carphone Warehouse website. It was quick and easy to apply for. All I had to to is choose my Laptop and pay £15.99 delivery charge. The process of setting this up was so simple. AL sent me my wireless kit and all my information in the post. I couln't set the Wireless up though as I was waiting for my Laptop to arrive first - but this didn't take very long. Once it all arrived it was so simplt to follow. I was up and running within minutes. By package is £24 and I get talk included. I couldnt believe how easy it was. And touch wood I have never had any issues with AOL. I am glad I switched over. The network is great. I have rang up and spoken to the staff a couple of times and although they're off shore. They are very easy to understand and friendly.
