I bought this product a few years ago and I still really enjoy it and it still works perfectly. Although a lot of people have now opted to go for the newer models or iPod touches, I would definitely recommend this iPod, especially if like I do, you already have a phone you can use for apps and all the other stuff. I have this product in bright pink, and although this sounds very bright or garish and not the best colour to choose I love it because its metallic and contrasts extremely well with the white touch pad and the headphones. Probably the best thing about this iPod is the size of it, this is because it is so easy to carry around, fits in any pocket and because I use the product a lot when I run, fits easily in a running armband as well as my phone and other items. The screen is also great as it is clear and although it is small, pictures and videos still look great on it. Also having 8GB of memory is great as all my music and images fit on with space to spare. An overall great product, and out of the all generations I've had I would definitely recommend this one.
Footlocker is one of those shops that no one really thinks to go to first, but I think excels in certain areas. I love the shoes they sell in this shop, with a lot of the mens and womens shoes being unisex, and coming in good sizes. I especially like this because it means that theres a wider choice for me, as I like the mens shoes as much as the womens a lot of the time! I find that some of the shoes that they do are also exclusive to them, or at least are a lot harder to find, this benefits them as they aren't always the cheapest option but the quality is good. The bags are also great in this shop, although I hardly ever go there for clothes, as there are a lot cheaper options and other places that sell similar attire for a cheaper price or where student like me can get discount, as this is one of the things they fail to offer. Overall it is a good shop, and they make up for the expense in other areas. Although it's not my first choice for normal items, I do prefer it for certain accessories.
I bought this book to take on holiday, as I like to read a lot while relaxing in the sun, but this one was definitely the best read while I was away, taking me off into a whole new place every time I picked it up.
This book is incredibly written, with a lot of thought going into the story and the writing which makes it extremely believable even though it is a fantasy book. This read is great on so many levels, with a story of love, hope, mystery, wonder and an extremely likable main character.
In this book there is a detective called Sandy Shortt, who has always been obsessed with finding things she has lost, because she can't understand how they just disappear. She spends her life searching for missing people, and her own missing belongings, certain that there must be an explanation, when one day, she randomly stumbles upon what she's been looking for all her life. A world full of lost belongings, people and with it all her dreams, but now there's just one thing left to find... her way home.
It is a great story, written with great thought and passion. Being a fantasy book you expect it to be extremely unrealistic and out there, but somehow using fantasy ideas she makes it into an extremely realistic and gripping story, making you wonder and feel for the characters as well as trying to work out the story.
I honestly couldn't put it down, and being a fan of Cecilia Ahern's other work including "PS. I love you" I will definitely be looking out for the rest of her work! I highly recommend this book.
After everyone going on about how great blackberrys were when they became popular and everyone getting on the 'bb hype', I did the same and decided to hop on it when it was time to renew my phone contract, which now I know was one of the worst decisions I ever made. Don't get me wrong, the phone was great to start off with, with one of the positive features being the use of blackberry messenger, which makes it extremely easy to communicate with friends who also have a blackberry. However, the honeymoon period didn't last for long. The first problems I experience with the phone was the occasional habit of the screen freezing, so I'd have to take the battery out and restart it every time this happened, at first i thought it was just a one off glitch but this started to happen very often, especially when I'd take a phone call and then the screen would just freeze afterwards and I wouldn't be able to get off the call screen or end the call from my end. I also found that after a while the buttons started to stop working, a problem that I know hasn't just happened to me after talking to friends, and when taken to repair shops they say is due to water damage when my phone hadn't even come into contact with water, except for maybe the occasional spot of rain, which has never effected any other phone I've had. This problem kept occurring, with different letters breaking each time, then the end call button, then the scroll bar. It was a nightmare, until eventually the whole keypad broke and I'd had enough. I decided to use an old phone to endure the last few months of my contract instead of go through the constant hassle. I wouldn't recommend this phone, especially since I know I'm not the only one who's had this problem, newer models might be better, but the curve 8520 is definitely a no go as far as I'm concerned.
I am a student, and have decided to buy a new laptop to take to university to replace my old outdated one. Obviously being a student, I wanted to shop around to find an affordable yet high performing laptop that would be good for my university work but also that I could use as a general laptop for games, browsing, shopping etc. After narrowing down my search I chose the HP Pavilion g series, with its quick processing speeds and very good quality monitor it just seemed the obvious choice, especially as I got it at a very reasonable price. The one thing that swayed my decision that made this laptop stand out from the rest was the colours. This made it more stylish and they've obviously thought about the aesthetics both inside and out. I chose the purple colour, and with a metallic purple lid and keyboard surround I find it extremely attractive and with the wide range of colours they offer, (silver, red, purple, blue, black) it is suitable for all genders and all ages. I like the effect of the purple interior with a black surround and keypad, which is a very easy keyboard to use, which makes it perfect for university work or other written work that might be completed using the laptop. The software is ideal for anything an average user may need and it is so quick and easy to set up, and the quality of the webcam is excellent, making it perfect for video calling that I like to do overseas with family using skype, and it is also equipped with zoom on the webcam. This is a great laptop and I highly recommend it, and I find it perfect for everything I need it for. Excellent!
