I really dont care what anyone else thinks about public domains recent success as they are only basing their opinion on chart success, yet operation blade was a huge track to bring in on the dance floor and it still is! rock da funky beat their latest song and has not done as well in the charts as operation blade, yet in my view it is on the same par! public domain offer a truely spinetingling live performance! they really did rock the crowd with their performance at gatecrasher NEC not long ago. They played about 6 songs all from the hard hop series which i am proud to say I have on vinyl! such as let me clear my throat which is absolutely wicked! just a latin groove, operation blade, rock da funky beats and some others which I cant remember at this point in time. Their is a group of about 4 blokes each playin a different part in producing the songs live and the main vocalist/rapper really gives it everything hes got, running around the stage, jumping on the equipment etc. As a dj I collect lots of vinyl and I can tell that when a song has been remixed by public domain because of their sound its very recognisable, also its the way they structure their songs that is so easy to tell, they really do produce some bangin tunes...literally! Such tunes like Dj gert, give me some more...flickman,hey paradise...nativ,feel the drums and more have all been remixed by public domain and they sound alot better than the originals! Obviously, or probably not so obvious if youve never heard of them,PD are hard house and they are on the xtra hard record label which is a very good label, also has Voodoo and serano on it but I wont go into them. I think they should team up with other artists like fergie or PVD or mauro picotto to incorperate other ideas and sounds into their songs, now that would be really good.
On the basis that you might not finish reading my opinion out of boredome I am telling you to not just buy these trainers but INVEST in buying them! Ill tell you why! first of all take a little peek at the photo of this particular shoe.......finished? I think the most stylish feature is the big velcro strap that goes across the whole of the shoe. This is a big feature in acupuncture shoes. Some have that smart velcro strap but some have like a big tongue thing (thats the best description I can give) with loads of toggles to hold your feet in. Im sure you've seen them before in the fashion shops because I know your at the height of fashion! I have the toggle ones because I think the velcro ones are most suited to women. But I have had no problems with them, I can get my feet in and out of them really comfortably without ruining the backs of them. I was very surprised when I decided to walk through a fairly deep puddle just for the fun of it and the whole of the sole was submerged in water, yet my feet were bone dry (apart from my usual sweat). This is a very good feature as it proves to be an all year round shoe! Back to the sole.... They are made from a very tough rubber/plastic attatched to a squishy but hard rubbery foamy stuff (the white part of the sole on the photograph). For those of you who cant be bothered to look at the photograph the white quish bit is the sole that your feet are on when they are in the shoe. The shoes I have seen range from a denuim material to the suede material that I have, and all are made with extreme quality! Most stylish colours from navy to grey. I have had mine for about 6 months and I wear them regular and considering I ran through a mud field in them and god knows what else Ive done in them they are in excellent condition! There is no sign of the materials wearing or the glue loosening which is great! I think the si
zes range from adult size 5/6-12, thats quite a good size range. In my opinion these shoes are one of the most stylish piece of rubber and leather around! Every fashion shop Ive been in sell these shoes at a decent price, they do vary a couple of squid but its roughly abot the same. Most shops I went into were selling them for £65 but I found mine for £60! get these shoes!
This opinion is more of a rant than advice but now everyone else can share my frustrations! Dont get me wrong I am a fan of dooyoo and I have set the craze around the school, but I dont think they all realise the fact that you have to be 18 to get your money lol. Well thats the first rant I have. I think the age limit should be lowered to 16 as im sure that there are plenty of people under 18 writing decent reviews and not able to claim a penny! I was told by dooyoo that the reason for this is because they want to be paying out money to people who write serious reviews to help other people and not just a churner who writes aload of rubbish. However kiddies there is an advantage! I was told (jo starr) that if i write quality reviews and prove to the dooyoo team that I am a serious member then they will pay me what I have earned, so im sure they'll do that for you kiddies out there. Plus I think that 16 is a reasonable minimal age to pay out. My seccond rant of the night is the home page, the new opinion bit in particular, I think its a good idea but I reckon the should be the last 5 opinions because once a new opinion is off the home page then it struggles to get more reads in some cases depending on the subject. My third rant is the fact that when I have written reviews, recently they have been locked and I cant see the reason why! to make it worse the people at dooyoo who have locked it have sent no email to me telling me what it wrong with it!how am I supposed to correct it?? I have scoured them for spelling mistakes and offensive words grammer mistakes and I cant find anything wrong with them. You go and look at my nivia advert and my nick sentience opinions and tell me whats wrong with them! Plus you looses al your miles that you have accumilated on the review!!!! As for advice on writing good opinions, I can tell you to try and write opinions on things that are popular, therefore more people w
ill go to that catagory and read your review. You have to get the balance of writing a decent length of writing and good quality content, its hard but thats what separates the decent VU ops to the NU ops. Also another tip is to set your writing out in paragraphs so its brokendown into subsections and its alot easier to read. thanks people
Nick is mainly a hard trance/hard house artist. Hard house/trance is a form of dance music, its really bassey and bangin' and gets everyone at the clubs going crazy. He is currently producing songs mainly on the Nukleus label and boy has he brought out some fantastic tunes! He has currently brought out songs with BK and other artists plus he has done a remix of storm, one of the latest releases. Along with other artists he is currently making songs on the hard beat series but I find that the songs seem to be too familiar, but still really good. The thing I like about his remixes he does of other songs is that its done in his own hard style but the songs have bits in them that you can assosiate with the original. The latest tune I have of his in my box is instru(mental). Again its a fantastic song. it has a really good energetic part in the middle which is bound to get a crowd pumping. I have to say Nukleus is my favourite record label! ***Dooyoo can you please stop locking this and a few other ops for no reason and not even e mailing me to tell me what the problem is, its really annoying because I keep loosing dooyoo miles.
ok seeing as i dropped my sagem mobile in the bath, dont ask me how,and it wasnt working as it should,i decided to invest in a brand new bubble bath free phone.i like to be totally different to other people and all the rest of the phones that are out at the moment are all boring or too expensive.I saw this phone on the shelves and it looked intriguing.I had a little read of what the strange looking thing did and i was impressed with all the features that it had on it. It has a number of of novelty ring tones to choose from, much more exciting than the ones on the previous motorolla phones.there is a composer where you can make your own ring tone up and you can also send it to another motorolla phone. This feature is quite easy to use when you get the hang of it. There are three games to play on,the classic brick game where you move a little block along the bottom of your screen rebounding the ball trying to hit the bricks at the top of the screen.there is baccarat, which is a kind of betting game, where you gamble your money on wether the player or the dealer/banker gets the highest amount of cards.there is also a game called towers of hanoi which i havent played enough times to get the hang of. aprt from the last game there all easy to get the hang of. there is the vibrate alert which is ideal for people at school because it lets you know if you have a messege of if someone is ringing you withought alerting others.you can also choose a combination of options such as ring then vibrate, ring and vibrate, ring only and vibrate only.plus the silent feature. there is the wap feature on it but to be honest i havent really explored that side of it because i find it cost too much to go on,but i imagine its easy enough to do....sorry :( there is a voice memo thing where you can record your voice telling yourself something,a reminder i suppose.you can play this back to you and listen. last of all there is the whole shape and
design of it.The 'querty' keyboard is fantastic, its so easy for texting and accessing all the menu options it really is a fun and easy way to explore your phone when you are bored! the design of the shape is fun and compact.many people would class it as a brick but personally i wouldnt.i think it is very classy. the only moan i have for the phone is that to talk to other people you have to use the hands free set but i havent had the phone long enough to notice it yet,but i will update my opinion if it really bugs me. get this phone! *ive come to the conclusion that the handsfree bugs me very much but its really cool text messaging. **The game bricks is good and it passes the time whilst on the bog lol, but its really stupid because it doesnt get any harder it just goes on and on and on and on and on and on because after your finished playing you can save the game. whats everyone elses highest score at the moment? 29/7/01 my fone has packed up it wont answer wen som1 rings me! next fone i buy is a normal 1!!!
Well boys and gals, the summer season is upon us and we welcome back Ibiza and Ayia Napa for yet another season of dance music bliss!! We also welcome back the return of all those dodgy compliations "Ibiza Series 3", "The Sound Of Ibiza", "This What I Call Ibiza 48" "Ayia Napa - The Sound", "Big It Up Ayia Napa", "Ayia Napa - Garage Nation 14" and all those other dodgy titles, terrible mixing and every CD with the same collection of tracks in a different order. If like last year Darude always after York, or York always after Darude. Storm after Zombie Nation or Zombie Nation after Storm. No wonder we got bored with the sound so quickly. Then we have the superclubs bring out there own compilations, these are much more reliable and mixed by a studio engineer who actually knows what he is doing, but again they contain all the same tracks, with a few seperate tracks different. You really have to look around and read the reviews (DJ Mag is normally most accurate and Mixmag do a good review too), check out the tracks on each CD and also go by the clubs past reputation of CDs. Gatecrasher - every CD so far fantastic, normally a mixture of known and unknown tracks. Normally more unknown tracks-studio but excellently mixed and a very good selection which concentrates on the clubs style. Ministry Of Sound - the big daddy of compliation CDs, excellent choice of tracks and superb mixing, they never seem to go round. An excellent selection of known and unknown tracks and they never seem to fail with their compilations. If you are after a good CD then always check out Ministry Of Sound will not let you down. Sadly, they have unfortunately decided to follow the other clubs fashion of not using the DJ and this is a sinciere disappointment. The mixing is still excellent and well done to Steve at Ministry Of Sound on carrying this on but it was someth
ing different to all the normal compliations, actually mixed by a DJ and not by a computer and also getting a set from Judge Jules for £15 (his Clubbers Guide To 2000 will always be remembered as one of the finest)is something no other club could do and it is missed-bring back the DJ. Cream - always bringing out and launching a lot of new tunes first. Where as the Ministry and Gatecrasher concentrate more on the underground, unknown tracks; Cream concentrates more on the unknown tracks which will make it big time and also a lot of already known tunes. The mixing is certainly variable and studio mixed. Worth checking out first. Essential Collection - brought to by Pete Tong, normally top notch stuff, loads of new tunes and very well mixed by the man himself. Gets big sales and well worth checking out!! 'nough said!! Nucleuz - if you like your hard house hard and you want a collection which concentrates on all levels of commercial and underground tracks AND mixed by a superb set of DJs, then Nucleuz is for you. Lets hope they don't stoop to a low level of commercialism and get too up on themselves because people are buying their CDs. Their much waited for Big Room DJs 2 was a flop and quite poor in standard compared to the first offering. Their last Hard House Anthems CD was massive and excellently mixed and this should continue. Euphoria - the first selection of compliations back in 1998 was one of the finest I have ever listen to and unfortunately the standard declined rapidly during last year with mixes from Mr Cheese, Dave Pierce and unfortunately this has turned people off listening and this wasn't helped by the poor "breakdown" series either. Euphoria have made a big effort to get back on tracks by bringing in John "oo" Flemming for the "progressive" series, with a mix of old and new tunes, but it still isn't catching the eye of the original series. The mix of unknown tunes which w
as pure energetic trance and mixed at it's best has long gone. But fortunately they continue the series mixed by DJs which is a refreshing change. The "breakdown" series, every commercial track or tune which has made it big, mixed by a studio engineer which could be better and a tracklisting which was quite poor with Santos - Camels and Modjo's "Lady" getting in on the mix. Euphoria are still trying to sort it out-carry on with the DJ, forget house and bring back the energetic tunes. Pure Garage/Ayia Napa - Ok there a few garage compliations about but I'm talking about the decent series which are mixed by DJs such as Mastersteps and Spoony. Recently they have turned to more commercial than keeping with the more known mix of underground. Turning to more garage remixes of Craig David and R'n'B artists. This is good but not what garage is all about; garage is much more than remixing r'n'b artists. Still mixed by DJs and good quality. If they can bring back the more underground garage, a compliation to look out for. There are probably more available but this isn't really a guide more a moan about the quality of compliation CDs, we don't want all commercial, we want variety and we want the DJ. We don't want to hear a track shortened and fiddled about with, we won't the original or the mix as it is. We don't want to hear the mixes sound as smooth as smooth, because that isn't mixing, thats a computer taking out the bass and making everything matched and pitch perfect. We want originality and a CD mixed by a DJ without all the touching up. WE WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE IT IS. Check out the mix CDs by DJs. "Clubbed" mixed by Judge Jules, "Transport" mixed by Max Graham amongst others, these are mixed by DJs as they should be mixed and a good mix of tunes. Also look out for compliations mixed by DJs if you want originality and tunes how they should sound and
mixed look for the DJ name. WE WANT THE DJ!! The producers are most important part of the music, but the DJs play the music and not a studio engineer. BRING BACK THE DJ!! Check out Clubbers Guide To Ibiza - brilliant selection of tunes, yes they have been messed around with and mixed in the studio but if you just want a brilliant selection tunes and good mixing - you must check this out. Also check out Subliminal Sessions mixed by Erick Morillo - one word...SUPERB!! HOUSE MUSIC AT ITS BEST!! A MUST HAVE!! EXCELLENT!! I would like to thank woody for letting me use this cheers mate!
big brother was a massive hit last year and millions of viewers tuned into channel 4 to watch it. However I think the producers of it should just let it go there are too many shows like this around like survivor, that island one on T4. It doesnt have the same affect as it did last year when there was nothing like that around so now its just boring. I think they have based all the new people on the characteristics of the people of last year but I cant quite work out who Bubble is meant to be. However I think he was deliberately put in there for a reason and i think the people who choose the people choose them particular people for effect, therefore people are more likely 2 watch it and I think that is wrong, if you get me, I know ive confused myself! anyway..... can some1 plz tell me what the theme tune is called, I know its by paul okenfold. *25/6/01......im hooked lol!
Futurma is the new simpsons for sure. When it first started and the adverts on Sky1 were climing that I was very scepticle as I thought nothing would better the Simpsons. I have started to watch it more now and in my opinion its brillient! the humour is very clever just like the simpsons, but this probably has something to do with the fact that it is created by Matt Growening the creator of the Simpsons. The program is set in the year 3000, Its about a delivery boy who gets frozen in a capsual and is released in the year 3000. He quite fancies the cyclops called leela. She is the one that tried to insert his chip thing in his hand. He blends in to the year 3000 and makes a few friends one of them is the hillarious robot called Bender. He always comes out with funny phrases and his favourite word is chump. Ironicly he works as a delivery boy or he did in the first episodes. Now they all get up to lots of things and its always summat different each episode. Its on at 6.30 week days and sunday nights on Sky1.It has been on on channel 4 but I cant remember what time it is though. I reccommend you watch his if you love the Simpsons.
well seeing as i have written a long opinion about B.M.Xing, I thought ide write you all an opinion about trials riding. What is trials riding?!?! i hear u screaming at your computer! Well trials riding is basically where you move around a course which can be naturally made by nature ie rocks and tree trunks and stuff like that or it can be man made ie big barells and other bits like that put together to form a course. The idea is get around it without touching the thing beneath you with your feet or your pedal and to do this you need a great deal of balance! its one thing you really need to master as well as the other things which i will tell you about in a miniute. Im going to give u a better description of a trials course because it might not be very clear to you at this point. imagine a forest with a few trees that have fallen down maybe creating a path. It has a few big rocks around them aswell.imagine them quite close together. Yu would have to say start on the first log in the course and bunny hop forward onto the next tree stump or log or rock. You would have to be able to stop and balance and be able to square your bike up for the next jump, as you get more confident and better, you can get onto better courses. Incase you are wondering, bunny hopping is where you somehow manage to jump and both wheels leave the ground, the better you get at it the more complex hop you can do. As you get more confident you can bunny hop sideways, do like a 90' hop or if you get really good you can lean back on your back wheel and hop like that I can only manage a few but im getting there. Where I live there is not many natural places to ride so I have to scour the streets in search of places to ride. My favourite thing to do is to side hop down steps od side hop of one wall onto another, Its pretty scary when you do it but its really cool when you pull it off, especially if people are watching :) Basically you find an o
bstical and try to ride over it or up it or off it or whatever. People do Trials riding at a professional level and if you are lucky enough to get a sponsorship deal then thats when the fun starts. You are invited to competitions, bike demos and basically you become famous in the biking world. The next thing youll need to know is what bike to get. Well none other than a Trials bike will do. They differ from a normal mens bike frame. The whole frame slants bak at about a 40' angle. They are light and very strong. They have minimal amount of gears some dont even have any atall they just have the single chainset. They dont have a front mech, usually if they dont come like it people will put a small B.M.X chain ring on the crank and on the wheel. Usually they have hard straight front forks instead of suspension and they dont have rear suspension. They are odd looking bikes as the seat post is put right down to the frame so basically it looks like the seat is attatched straight to the frame. This is so when u jump u can bend your knees alot to get alot of height and to cushion a landing, so you dont have a seat up your arse, but its there if u bend to far if you know what i mean. Hydraulic brakes are very useful. There extremely powerful. When I pull my rear brake it is so strong you can see the frame bending either side of the wheel! This kind of bike is great fun to pull great tricks on, like endos and stoppies and complicated tricks I have not yet mastered. Oh I have forgot to include price! Well basically you get what you pay for! I have a Raleigh Fishbed and its a slalom bike so i kinda improvise abit when i trials ride. It cost £499 which is good price for the spec on it. You can pay alot less but as I said the more you pay the better the bike. I think one really good option if you have the money time and knowlege is to buy a frame and then custom build it, I havent really come to any conclusion wether or not
it is cheaper that way but atleast you can put on what you want. As far as fitness is concerned, You need to be physically strong and quite tall, The stronger you are the more control you have over your bike and you have more strength to jump higher and further. well if you would like to know more just ask
Well I think religion is as real as you believe it to be. Basically the whole of religion is psychological. I believe its psychological because people want to feel as if there is someone looking out for them and there not alone in the world, and they have hope that when they die that wont be the end as such. If you think about it most religions have some kind of afterlife and years ago people used to sacrafice themselves to their god, simply because they had no fear of dying becuse of the afterlife. So tell me which one is real?? People prey to their god for hope and satisfaction that they are doing something for someone else, say if a relative is ill, then the relatives might prey to their god asking for help for example...i dont know i havent been in that situation. They believe that their relative is at the mercy of their god. and by askin for help,in their mind there not being totally useless which i know thats how people feel most of the time. If you think about it,the recovery of an ill patient could be due to a successful operation or LEGAL drugs and have absolutely nothing to do with any God. But religious people will always argue the fact it had something to do with God. But one thing that really annoys me is anything that we do or anything that happenns is always to do with god,for example the other day i was watching T.V and my grandma was watching songs of praise and i didnt really dare change the channel while she was watching it,anyway it started going on about skateboarders and it showed you people on their skateboards doing tricks, and there was this geeza who was like the community manager person of the skateboard park and obviously he was religious. He started going on about how he was doing his bit for community and he was saying that not all skateboarders are Yobbos,as we are usually stereotyped as.He then said that a person will practise a trick 40 to 50 times in order to get it right and that shows god tha
t you are committed etc and i was totally amazed at that comment.I learn new tricks on my skateboard pure and simply to show off to people! yet religious people will twist it around to being religious. Also if you think about my theory as there actually being a God but not in physical matter i mean if theres something psychological making people live a life of good and be happy and not a life full of crime then maybe its actually doing something good... If people dont have faith or something to make them live trough all of lifes pains what is the point in living? But this is directed to the people who believe in god....what if there is no such thing as an afterlife or a "God" and when you die thats it.as quick as you came into this world, you go out. For the "hardcore" religious people you will grow through your life not living to the extent of what is to offer because your religion will not allow certain things!you will spend the whole of your life preparing yourself for eternal rest making your life on earth the bridge to heaven but what a waste of your only years alive. Another example is muslims, They are not aloud to eat pork!!!! I mean there "god" or whoever it is has basically said there not aloud to eat pork,Muslims do not know what they are missing out on! and they never will. They will die not ever tasting pork! The fact is that this ritual or whatever it is, was probably made up by some ancient butcher who ran out of pork to sell and didnt want to loose trade from bad publicity! i know that theory is just a tad far fetched but u get the idea im trying to give to you...... I have such a strong feeling towards my theory but i just cant seem to write it all down! In reference to the Bible, isnt it such a coincidence that most or all of the stories or "real accounts" always have some kind of parabble to the stories? I just find that too much of a coincidence, it seems more like
some1 or a group of people, i dont know who exactly I hav'nt figured that out, made up the stories to do something or other.... As I said I believe religion is totally psychological,However the only thing in my mind to blow my whole theory is if I saw a ghost because it supports the whole fact of an afterlife,i mean if its a lost sole or something i dont know, just something to think about...what do you think??
My mate came round to my house and he was checking his e mail. As we had nothing better to do, we registered my own free e mail thing. It was very easy to register, I filled in all of my personal details, choose a user name and password TA DAH!! all done. I loggeed in and checked out my new inbox.I had a nice little mail from Text21 explaining how to use all the features of my mail, quite useful as I later found out there was even a feature to send SMS Text messeges. I had a go at sending a messege to my phone and I was amased at how quick the messege sent and how quick the messege got to my phone, It was all in a matter of secconds PLUS you can send as many messeges as you want in a day,not like other services where you are limited to about 3 per day. It is simple enough to send and read messeges in your inbox and its easy enough to reply to an email, However pictures dont seem to come out when they have been sent in the emial, maybe im doing something wrong...im not a computer nerd......... Anyway I am altogether impressed with Text21 and I reccommend it to you, WWW.Text21.com
Well as it says in the title,It has alot of great information and products for sale, ranging from cool DJ accessories to DJ packages and all the stuff is great value for money. However I recently browsed on their sight and came across some cheap slip mats for my decks which I just had to have. So off I went round to me grandparents house and roped my grandad into ordering the slip mats for me. It costs £2 extra for the shipping or £10 i think for some kind of insurance thing for if you buy an expensive thing, anyway it said it would take approximately 2 weeks to deliever. about 4 weeks had passed and I decided to ring them up and see what the delay was, they checked their computer and aparently the item I ordered was out of stock, and we put the wrong expiry date from the credit card but thats not the point. About 5 weeks later we recieved a letter saying that the item I ordered was out of stock what do we wish to do...... I think that was bad service that it took them so long to finally tell us that it was out of stock. we still havent got it sorted out as yet. I reccomend you go on the website simply to look at the reviews of the products and maybe you might have abit more look ordering than I did.
Oh my god how gorgeous is Baileys!!! I am addicted to the bloody stuff. Its made from gorgeous Irish creams and whisky and its very strong! A few glasses can send u flying with the magic pixies over the sunflower fields. Its about £15 for a litre bottle which isnt bad as it tastes so nice. Its perfect for partys or if u like it that much anytime will do lol. My dad always says it tastes alot better when it has ice in it and i agree,so theres a tip for you. Put a couple of ice cubes in it and leave it for a few miniutes and then enjoy!
Its yet another fantastic record brought to you by the record label Manifesto. They have brought out a succession of hit songs in the past and they done it again! I loved listening to this song everytime it was playing on the radio, Ide drift away. Its a typical trance song, with the build up of the percussion and the synths then there is the calmness of the synth and then it breaks into an energetic...thing. Ide love to be playing that song in a club as the DJ. It was a song that ended up in most DJ's record box, It was even no1 in dave pearce's big 3 for a few weeks. im sure if rank1 brought out another tune it would be just as good.
Well we had a little N reg Rover metro and as a family of 5, road journeys were very uncomfortable. It was too small and cramped in the back seats. They are a good little motor and my parents didnt really have any problems with it.Just its size. Because its under 1400cc engine it makes the insurance alot cheaper, so I guess it would suit either as a first car or a little run about for old people. Its also very economical. However its quite tedious riding down a long main road, going quite fast, well fast for that car,and you dont seem to be getting anywhere fast. It would be better suited for someone who lives in a city and just wants to bizz around there. For the benifit of the 'nice' people at dooyoo, I will give you a rough idea of how it drives, or how i remember my mum moaning about the damm thing! It hasnt got power steering so its not brillient to drive, its not that hard to park with as its so small, traction is good.
