Let me just start of by saying that this is by far the most reliable car I have ever owned in my life! I bought it 10 years ago pre-owned and it hasn't dated in any way. It still looks great and is often mistaken for a sports car by my friends and colleagues. However underneath this sporty exterior must be a tank because it has not broken down once and I drive this car nearly every day. That's not to say I have never had to spend money on it but it's never been anything more serious than a new Tyre.
It has really good handling meaning it can handle even the windiest roads without any trouble what so ever. The acceleration is really quick if you suddenly see an opening in the traffic. Also the brakes are really responsive should you need to perform an emergency stop. The interior design is elegant and sporty with its bucket leather seats and glossy radio/CD player. The only downside is that it is a relatively large car and parking in small spaces requires a great amount of skill. But overall I am very impressed with this car and it has yet to let me down!
I have been doing kickboxing once a week for the past year and finally decided to treat myself to my own skipping rope as we have to skipping as our warm up. Though because other than for my kick boxing I never skip I searched for the cheapest rope I could find as at the time I thought there wasn't many ways you could go wrong with a skipping rope. Turns out there are.
The rope is very light, which at first is a good thing as it allows the user to be more nimble and skipping becomes slightly easier. But as it turns out making the rope too light affects the way the rope moves through the air like with this one. The material it is made of isn't too nice to touch on the handles either and has a very unappealing rubbery texture making skipping quite unpleasant at times.
All in all I don't like this rope and it now lives in the attic where it belongs.
I bought this because I had been invited to one of my friend's house who had just moved to the country side. There was no need to carry much more than clothes because he had everything else I would need at his house already. So because I didn't need to bring that much I only needed a small suitcase!
After searching a few shops I found this suitcase for £20 on special offer at one of my local travel shops. It comes with only 2 wheels as opposed to 4 like some other suitcases. This is fair enough for occasional use but if you planned on taking this suitcase to work every day the wheels only go in one direction making turning corners tricky. The suitcase has deceptive amount of space inside of it too. I could fir a week's worth of clothes inside and on the way back a few extra items such as a book about the area I stayed at.
But that being said I was perhaps only able to pack so many clothes inside because that was all I packed. If I was going camping there would be a lot more to fit in the bag and it would have become very cramped inside. I would recommend this to a friend planning on a short trip because it is a reliable bag that can pack a fair amount of clothes and miscellaneous items inside of it.
Searching for bottle openers is a very boring task. They all look the same and are too metal for my tastes. Then I saw this happy red man who was the answer to my prayers. I found mine for £7 and am very pleased with my purchase.
I don't believe there is much I can tell you about the design other than what you see in the picture. But none the less it is in the shape of a very happy man who is red. This makes him easy to find and so if you lose him he can be easily found again. He is comfortable to hold and there are no sharp buts that stick in your hand whilst trying to open a particularly stubborn bottle. The bottle opener itself is very sturdy and much to the very happy mans delight, will not snap off any time soon!
I would recommend this too some of my friends because the design of it is not too everyone's tastes.
It took me a while to buy this because I didn't see the point in spending £2 for 2 miniscule deodorants. Especially when you have the option of buying a full can for the same price! None the less I gave in and bought it anyway.
It smells the same as the regular sized cans and this is both a good and a bad thing. It's a positive point because it allows you to layer your scent and not have your smell clash but like I've already mentioned why on earth should you pay the same price for a smaller quantity of the same item? Convenience is the reason why.
It fits very well in your pocket and so it can be kept with you at all times more subtly than the regular sized can. This is helpful if you are out with friends and realise you could use a quick freshen up. So despite the gross price of the product it can be quite handy in uncomfortable situations.
BT packaged my product well and the instruction booklet was easy to understand and I had my hub set up in no time. It really is as simple as plugging it into the mains and phone socket. There are 4 Ethernet sockets on the back so if your computer does not support wireless then you can still connect to the internet. However if you are a wireless user you can find the password easily on the sticker attached to the back of the hub.
But when I first hooked my hub up and connected to the internet it was very slow and inconsistent. After spending a while on the phone with BT customer service they told me that I should keep the hub switched on 24/7. The reason I hadn't been doing this is because I didn't like the idea of wasting energy by keeping it on all of the time. But because I need the internet my hub remains switched on constantly much to my disapproval.
On the front of the modem there are 5 lights that include wireless, power and broadband. I find these useful because I can tell if my hub is connected to the internet just at a glance. So if you keep your hub on consistently you will have a fast, reliable internet connection which can support over 4 different devices/computers all at once!
I'm not particularly crazy about football but even I enjoy playing with this ball. I managed to buy it for £10 so all in all it is a pretty good bargain considering what good quality it is.
This ball has been designed to look good and so while you playing with there are no need to feel self conscious about its design. It is a pretty lightweight ball and so it can get a fair amount of height but without flying away in the wind. The outside of the ball has been expertly constructed making it very weather resistant and no matter how much you kick it you will not see it peel.
This ball is the standard size 5 and so can be used for leisure or a professional match. Although the ball does include a guarantee of 2 years yet I struggle to see how anyone could actually use it. But all things considered I would definitely recommend this ball to either professionals or just somebody who wanted a kick about.
I'm not too into photography but on the odd occasion that I do want to take a picture or two I can never find a flat surface. So because of this I wasn't prepared to go all out on a tripod that wouldn't get much use. So I did a search and found this for 75 pence! So it already gets 10/10 for price.
The tripod is very easy to fold into a compact unit for storing until needed again. It also weighs very little so if you are want to take that perfect picture from the top of a hill you won't even notice carrying it up there. The feet of the tripod do not slide about either so there truly is no negatives about this tripod... Except one. The tripod can not extend to tall heights and so it needs another surface to stand on for those high up shots.
Hoovers are pretty expensive and I never could figure out why. I mean sure they kept your house clean but they were always malfunctioning and breaking down. But this Hoover is different. I bought it many years ago for roughly £150 if I remember correctly. This was a pretty good bargain at the time as they were going for much higher prices. But rest assured no matter how much you pay for it Henry is worth it. He sucks up anything in his path be it anything from dust to leafs to spilt food you name it! He has a variety of different heads for different places and surfaces you need to Hoover. It is indestructible too as it's had all sorts done to it. It's been dropped down a flight of stairs, kicked and yet it still works as good as new. No matter what type of person you are this is the Hoover of your dreams.
Although this may look like the regular version of he Henry Hoover with the happy face and red and black colour scheme do not be fooled. I like the regular full size Henry as it is reliable and a very good hoover but this one is no where near as good in terms of functionality. For a desktop hoover you would assume that it could suck up dust, crumbs and whatever minor rubbish you can find on a desk. This hoover struggles to do that. As you may have guessed by the tiny size of the hoover it doesn't have a powerful motor and so you have to be patient and repeatedly go over your dust or crumbs over and over again before they are sucked up. So the hoover struggles to be a hoover? Everything else about it I like a lot. It has a variety of extra features such as a slim nozzle for getting into those awkward places on your desk. You can extend the pipe for an even longer range and it does look pretty good. Emptying it is easy to as all you need to do is unscrew the lid and shake it into a bin. Another thing you should know about it is that it needs 3 AA batteries! So if you want a novelty, good looking, relatively cheap hoover that doesn't work too well. You've found it!
After much sweat and tears I finally managed to build a shed at the bottom of my garden. However I tend to stay in there until late at night working and when I need to come back in the house it is too dark to see and I always end up kicking something. Then I saw some solar powered lights available for £29.99 from Amazon and decided to test them out.
I had my doubts about solar lighting because I thought that lights may be dim, the price would be expensive and a lot of greenhouse gases may be released in order to make them.
It is true that the good quality solar powered lights are expensive and even though the ones I bought are pretty bright they don't hold enough charge to last more than 7 hours. But I manage to overlook this because they are hassle free as they do not require plug sockets and the bulb rarely needs changing. Plus I no longer run the risk of walking into the pond in the middle of the night!
So in conclusion although I wish they could hold a charge for longer they are very useful and have a great potential.
I first heard about this juicer from a magazine which claimed it was one of the best juicers ever made. I agree with them. The juicer is very easy to set up as all you need to do is plug it in and you're ready to get juicing! It can handle every fruit or vegetable I put into it with ease and the pulp container is larger than that of regular juicers so I can make enough juice for any occasion in one go.
There isn't a wide range of settings because frankly a juicer doesn't need them; it is kept simple and easy to use. The motor spins the blades with a power of 700 watts and the feeding tube is pretty wide so even the hardest of vegetables or soon turned into a delicious juice. It is also pretty good at dealing with skins so there is no need to peel any of the fruit and veg you put into it. Particularly useful for juicing carrots.
I managed to get mine for just under £60 and even at that price would highly recommend to everybody I know.
Having bought this because of a new year's resolution to "get fitter" I expected the machine to be user friendly, reliable and on the long run be cheaper than joining a gym. This treadmill can do all of that and more! The menu is easy to use and has a variety of features such as an incline that can go as far as 10% if you wished to push yourself that much harder whilst running. For those of us who like to go fast I have managed to reach speeds close to 16 km/h! But this is often more than I need so the speed capabilities of the machine are very impressive. I bought it nearly 2 months ago and it has been very reliable thus far and shows no signs of breaking down. Plus if you look at some of the other reviews of this treadmill they also state it is a reliable machine! Now the price is a bit steep and even if you shop around you will be unlikely to get it for less than £200. However this shouldn't put you off for if you want a decent treadmill that won't disappoint you then this one really is the way to go.
I had bought this guitar for 2 main reasons. I had heard many good things about Les Paul's and wished to test one out for myself and I have admired Jimmy Page for the most part of my life. So I saved up my pennies for nearly two years before buying this beauty. Because it certainly cost a lot of money!
My first clue that this was going to be a brilliant guitar comes from its look and feel. Its amber/orange body glistens in the light and the Alnico pickups sparkle every time it is played. The neck is smooth allowing for easy movement during solos or scales. One thing however is that the guitar is one of the heaviest I've ever owned and can require some getting used to.
But whilst the weight makes is harder to play the neck and frets are just so easy to navigate around allowing for a comfortable playing experience be it blues or heavy metal. So if you have a spare thousand pounds lying around buy it! If not start saving like I did because it is so worth it.
Usually when I buy a CD player it comes built in with its own speakers and so this was something slightly new to me. The player comes with a standard headphone jack and so I chose to just hook it up to my computer speakers and press play. As with most CD players there really isn't much that could confuse you but rest assured this player is no different. All the buttons are easy to understand and even if this was your first CD player there would be no problem in understanding the machine and it's remote.
The infrared remote has a long range which can be used anywhere in the room, perfect for listening to music while in bed or cooking. After putting a disc into the CD player it is able to be played within seconds and the player is silent the whole time allowing for greater music enjoyment. So if what you are looking for is a reasonably prices CD player to use around the home then look no further!
