I'm Dan, a first year PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) student at Corpus Christi College (probably the friendliest college in the world), Oxford. Why is it that young people feel the need to introduce themselves with related information about their current educational status? I don't know.
When I'm not panicking about hitting deadlines I try to write something vaguely interesting. I'd love to write a novel one day, but it's harder than you'd think. If anyone wants to hand me an amazing idea for a book then I'll happily write it (!), it's just the coming up with a half decent rather than half baked plot that's tricky. Normally my writing's rubbish, but you know what they say... if you have an infinite number of monkeys...
Other than writing I do my best to kayak as much as possible, paddling white water and freestyle whenever I get the chance. Unfortunately, especially given the imminent onset of winter, this involves spending a lot of time upside down in rivers, but hey, it's worth it.
My current aim in life (other than the small matter of obtaining a degree) is to save up enough money to a) go kayaking in the Pyrenees over Easter and b) go to India/South America over the summer. I currently have about a tenner in my dooyoo account so all in all it's going well. Please rate generously!!
I do my best to return rates, but if you are unfortunate enough to rate me at the same time as I receive yet another lovely essay, you may be disappointed. And there are only so many reviews I can read per day before my brain dribbles out my ears and I end up in a mental asylum. Again.
