Kit-Kats are the best biscuits in the world because they are tasty and crunchy and yummy. I love Kit's Kat. The Kitkats are the best selling of all the biscuits in Britain including breakaways, foxes classics, blue ribband, tesco own brand and clubs so a lot of people must like to eat them. In the olden days they used to only come as fingers in either two finger bars or four fingers but in todays days you can get them in all sorts of sizes like chunky which are very fat or kitskats cubes which are very small!! You can still get the two and four fingers ones and those are what I think most people will buy to have with a brew. You can dunk kitskats quite well because the chocolate melts just a little but the wafer in the middle is still quite crispy and they don't break and fall in!!! The kits kats used to be made by rowantree mackintosh but they are now made by nestle who must have bought the secret recipe a lot of years ago. They still taste much the same as they did before or at least they did until the packets were changed. Kitkatses used to have a foil wrapper with a strip of paper round it holding it all together and you could run your finger nail along the middle of two kitskat fingers and break the foil which was great fun and like a sacred ritual before you sacrificed the yummy biscuit to the god of your belly!! Now they are wrapped just in the stuff that most biscuits of chocolate are wrapped in which is like thin plastic to keep them fresh and it is printed with the name of kitkat on the outside. I don't think they are now as tasty as they were in the old wrappers but they are still very yummy!!! The best thing about kits kat is that sometimes you get one that has no wafer in and it is just like a little bar of chocolate. You never can tell which ones are like that and it is a great surprise when it happens!! I think everyone should eat more kits kats to tell the makers that we still love them and they atasty and they should ma
ke them forever!!!!
## What is myvoice? Myvoice is a website that asks members to complete surveys on many different topics and pays a small payment for each survey completed. ## How much do they pay? The amout depends usually on the length of the individual survey. Usually the surveys only take a minute to complete and are worth 5p each. Occasionally you will be asked to complete longer surveys which can be worth various amounts like 20p or 50p or even £1. ## How often are you asked to take a survey? Again this varies depending on what debates are topical. Some days you get none, other days you get two or three. There is no way to know. ## Does everyone get paid for every survey? No. For most of the small surveys (which are offered to all members) it is usually only the first 6000 who get paid. Before you actually do the survey it will tell you if you are in the payment group or not so you don't need to do it if you don't want to. Some other surveys are only available to certain people depending on what info they have given in their profile page. This owuld be like people who say they have no children would not be asked to take part in surveys about childrens products. ## Do they really pay out? YES they do! I got a voucher for amazon from them to a value of £20! You can choose from a great range of vouchers and you receive them in about a week. You can only claim a voucher when you reach earnings of £20. ## What are the surveys like? As an example one of the current ones is called POP IDOL ? MARK OR MICHELLE? It has four questions with multiple choice answers, "Who do you think will win?", "Who do you think should win?", "Who will you be voting for this week?" and "Will you be buying the Pop Idol Christmas CD?". All you have to do is click beside the answer of your choice. That one only takes about 15 seconds to complete! ## Is there any other way to earn mone
y? Yes! You can get 25p for every friend you refer. Also when you complete a survey you are netered into a prize draw for to win £1000 every month. I haven't won that. Yet. ## Anything else on the site? The site also has forums where you can discuss any issues. I don't o to them much and have never posted to them but they look ok if you like that sort of thing. Also you can see the results of the surveys which can be quite interesting so that makes a visit always worthwhile. 15.3% want Mark to win, 37.7% for Michelle, 6.8% don't know and 40.5% are pretending not to watch it!!!! ## What is the layout like? The site is nicely decorated in beautiful lilac and blue colours and very nice. It is fast for viewing and easy to find a way arund. ## Would you recommend it? Absolutely! This is an interesting site which has the added advantage of earning vouchers. I think if you haven't saw it before you should go and have a look right now and join up! http://www.myvoice.co.uk/
A few years ago digital cameras were very expensive at a price of over £300 for a decent one. Now the prices have fallen and the digital cameras are almost at a price to be disposable! Digital camcorders were even more expensive and you had to be loaded to afford one - but not any more! The Mustek DV range are very affordable digital camera/camcorders which are within the reach of most budgets. The DV3000 has recently been upgraded to the model DV4000 but you can still buy the older model although I'd advise to go for the upgrade. The DV3000 is available from the internet site www.directfrom.com for a price of £89.97 Inc VAT. The newer DV4000 is available from the same site for £109.00 Inc VAT which is only £20 more expensive - but well worth it as I'll explain! The newer DV4000 has its own built in battery which can be charged from the mains sockets in your house or from the USB ports of your computer. The older model needs batteries to be replaced so by upgrading you will save money on batteries in the long run! Both the DV3000 and DV4000 act as normal digital cameras and also camcorders. The DV4000 can also be used as an MP3 music player or a voice recorder or even as a webcam if connected to your computer. But it is as a camcorder that it really comes into its own. It can take about half an hour of video clips on the supplied memory card which is a MMC type of card of 32mb capacity. That might not be long enough to make films like teh lord of teh rings but it is long enough to capture some important moments on video forever. You can also buy extra memory cards from lots of internet shops for about 64mb for £25 which will give you an hour and a half when added to the free card. The camera itself is very light which makes it feel a bit cheap and plasticky but don't let that put you off, after all if you want a heavy expensive camera you can pay £600 for one! It is great for its price. The one big problem is that it
doesn't have its own light source like a flash or bulb. That makes recording in dark conditions difficult but that is only a small niggle unless you live down a cave! The DV4000 comes with its own usb cable which is handy, an AV cable for connecting to your TV, a carrying bag and strap, an earphone, software called Photo Express and even its own little tripod!!! If you are thinking of buying a digital camera don't hesitate to get one of these because at the price of around £100 they are brilliant value for money and work really well. Remember it makes more sense to get the DV4000 though, it is much better value for only an extra £20.
I decided a couple of months ago that I needed a new printer. I had an amazon voucher from writing here on dooyoo so I went to the amazon.co.uk web site and had a look at their printers to see if there was one which I would like. I don't print lots of things so I didn't really need a fancy printer with fastest printing speeds or print resolutions so I just looked at the ones that were not very expensive. The Lexmark Z55 caught my eye because from the picture it looked nice and it was priced at £44.99 which was about what I wanted to pay. I ordered the printer and it arrived within a few days and I couldn't wait to get it set up and try it out. Getting a new printer is like getting a new toy! I was dissapointed though because when I tried to set it up I found that it was broken! There is a flimsy bit of plastic inside which I think is a guide for the print head but I'm not sure but anyway it had come loose and the print head was smashing into the side of the printer when I tried to use it - it was as if it was trying to smash it's way to freedom out the side of the printer casing! So I had to send it back and wait a few days for a new one to be sent. The new one did not have any such problems and I got it up and running within a few minutes. Before I tell you any more about the printer I need to mention that there is NO usb cable supplied, like which is the case with almost all printers and was even the case when they used mainly parallel cables before usb was common. Why do they never supply cables with their printers??? Well, it doesn't really matter about the cable and I'll tell you why! If you got the cable with the printer it would make the printer a little bit more expensive. To buy a cable from amazon costs £4.99 but you can get them cheaper in local shops. The funniest thing about this printer is the cost of the ink cartridges - to replace the two cartridges costs MORE than the price of the p
rinter!!!!! So basically when the cartridges run out (and they will last for ages if you are only an occasional user) you can just throw away the printer and buy a new one! You will already have bought a usb cable so you won't need to buy another one so you will be saving money because the cable doesn't come with the printer! I don't know much about print resolutions and technical details but it says that it has a resolution of 4800x1200 dpi - I don't know if that is good or bad! To set up the printer you just plug it in, stick the supplied disc in the drive and follow the instructions. I am not the most technical minded person and I had mine up and running in a couple of minutes. During the installation it even does an allignment test on your paper to make sure everything is lined up properly. There are various options that can be set in the Lexmark Solution Centre software that comes with it. You can choose a range of print qualities or troublshoot any problems. It also helps you to print various formats like banners and suchlike. For the price this is a good quality printer and it is robust and doesn't feel cheap. It prints very quickly but only after the first page because that takes about 30 seconds to print but the rest of the pages only take a few seconds in black and white. Colour takes a bit longer but is worth waiting on because photographs are very clear and crisp. If you are buying this printer remember that to buy real Lexmark cartridges will cost more than the cost of the printer - that is the only thing that I don't like about this because it seems a waste to throw out a perfectly good printer and buy a new one just because it is cheaper than buying new cartridges!
I wrote an opinion about izal toilet paper, that nasty hard greaseproof paper stuff that schools and public loos used to use. After reminding my bottom of such misery I think I need to make it feel better again by writing about a lovely soft loo roll, Andrex. Andrex is a very popular make of loo roll and everyone will recognise it from the adverts on telly with the gorgeous little puppy who is a bit of a rascal. It is now the only brand of toilet roll that I use unless the shop doesn't have any Andrex and in that case I buy Charmin or go to a different shop. Andrex is available in dry or moist forms and I must say I'm not a great lover of moist tissue so I always get the dry ones. I find that it is strong and soft and doesn't cause any discomfort or chaffing or anything like that. I have not had any cases of finger-through which is an embarrassing thing to mention but something everyone knows is possible with some cheaper loo rolls. I find that a good test of how strong and useful a toilet tissue is is to wipe something up with it, no not that type of something! I mean like if there is a spill or maybe a dirty mark on the tiles and I get a few sheets of loo paper and use it to give a little scrub. Cheaper papers scrunch up and start to fall apart but Andrex stays together and does the job well. I would recommend Andrex for any self respecting derriere, it is comfortable and soft and lovely.
It is sometimes hard to find a present to give to someone who has everything because if they have everything and you give them something they probably already have one! Someone who has everything won't really appreciate something materialistic but might well appreciate something that will make them feel good inside. So my sugestion is to set up a sponsorship in their name. You can sponsor all sorts of things like children in poor countries or animals in a zoo. One suggestion I like is to sponsor an abandoned or abused animal at the National Animal Welfare Trust. You can do this online and it costs only £12 for a year to sponsor a Rabbit, Duck, Chicken, Budgie or Ferret. If you want to spend a bit more you can pay £40 per year to sponsor a Horse, Donkey, Cat, Pig, Pony, Dog, Cow, Sheep or Goat. For your payment you get a photograph of the individual animal that you are helping and you are allowed to visit them whenever you like (or rather the person who you are sponsoring for will get this!!!). The National Animal Welfare Trust have premises and animals in Watford, Somerset, Cornwall and Berkshire but if your gift receiver isn't anywhere near those places you can still sponsor or maybe find somewhere similar nearer to their own home. You can visit their web site on http://www.nawt.org.uk and if you are going to sponsor an animal remember to fill in the tax part of the form so the trust can get more money from the tax man but it won't cost you any more. If someone has everything I'm sure they will be delighted to think that their present is helping with a good cause and they will get more satisfaction than from more socks that they don't even need!!
The best thing about dooyoo is that you can get to earn vouchers for shops and web sites like amazon.co.uk which sells lots of things and blackstar.co.uk which sells mainly videos and dvd's. For each time an opinion is read by a member the writer gets 3p which doesn't seem like a lot but can add up if lots of people read the opinion! Because this is the best thing it is good sense to tell people that if they join this is available to them. Maybe they will also like to read and write and get enjoyment and advice but the earning of vouchers is the thing that will make them join. I have done some sums but I'm not too good at maths so if I am wrong please correct my mistake but I think I am right becasue I have checked four times. If someone writes an opinion and ten people read it they will get 30p for each opinion. If they write five opinions every day they will earn £1.50 every day which is over £500 every year! With £500 worth of vouchers people can buy lots of nice things that they maybe couldn't afford otherwise so dooyoo is a great way to get some special treats by doing a little bit of writing in your spare time. If everyone told their friends this and they all wrote 5 opinions per day the site would be really busy and everyone would earn lots of money but remember to tell your friends also to read other peoples opinions because if no one reads others opinions then no one will make any money. I try to read at least ten opinions for ever one that I write and that way if I get ten reads I have at least been good enough to give them out to other people. On dooyoo I have noticed that some people have a few friends who read each others opinions and all come round and rate certain peoples opinions with not useful. These people are cheats and dooyoo should ban them so please tell your friends not to do this. I think it is ok to read your friends opinions but not only their opinions also others. It is never ok
to gang up on someone else and be bad to them. There are also other things to get on dooyoo like competitions to enter and crowned opinions to be won which are worth more money so perhaps people can earn even more than £500 in a year!
I think that all of the year is best for wishing for world peace and that christmas is a time for being mostly selfish and giving and receiving from loved ones who are close. These are the things that I am hoping for this year and I hope I get some of them or all of them. The first thing that I would want is to find a new man who will treat me good. All of the men that I have found since I split with my last husband have been nasty work and not nice. I thought I had found a good man but he wanted me to have a intimacy with his friend while he watched so I said no and put him out onto the street. I would just like a nice man for my twilight years. I would also like a lot of lottery tickets as I may have a chance to win a big amount of money. I don't want o have to worry about money or expect my ex-husbands to always give me some so I really would like to win. I would like a DVD player because I feel a bit left behind with technology. I would also like a digital cordless telephone so that I can sit down and talk to people or lie in bed or even be in the garden. Some new lingerie would make me feel really special and maybe be a treat for my new man if I ever find one. Perhaps even a voucher for a nice place like the Ann Summers shop so as I could choose my own. I really really really need a new car because I have nothing but problems with my car that I have now. Nothing fancy just a car that I can rely on. I would like a few nice bottles of quality wine perhaps ones that I have never tried before. I like wine and new wines are great when first tasting and not knowing what to expect. Can I wish for a man again? Lastly I would like not to be on my own for Christmas day like I was last year. I hope that some of my family or friends will arrange for me to visit or for them to come round to mine. Have a very merry christmas everyone at the dooyoo site!
When I am feeling down or a little bit low I like nothing better than to get some tasty balls in my hand and slip them into my mouth. I hope you are not thinking of dirty thoughts because the balls I mean are maltesers. If you don't know what maltesers are because maybe you live in a different country like Mrs Canada of dooyoo probably does they are little honeycomb centred balls with a milk chocolate outer shell. The honeycomb bit tastes of malt and that is why they are called malteasers. They are made by mars who make lots of other chocolate bars like mars bars and snickers and topics. There are lots of ways to eat maltesers and it is good fun finding new ways to eat them. I sometimes nibble all of the cocolate off and them eat the malty bit, or sometimes I just crunch right into them or bite them in half and lick the malty bit out from inside the chocolate. Maltesers can be bought from any shop that sells chocolate bars and they come in all sorts of sizes from fun size bags that have about ten maltesers in them right up to big massive boxes that have hundreds in. Prices can vary depending on the size of pack or box and the shop that is selling them. Don't buy maltesers or any other choclate from a fish and chip shop because they taste awful. I would recommend maltesers to anyone who likes chocolate and if you buy them and don't like them I'd be happy to take those yummy balls off your hands and into my mouth any day of the week!
A stretch of three lane motorway, a 50mph limit, why? Because I think that it might be dangerous to drive faster at some times like in the rush hour or when it is icy or snowy or foggy. I think also it keeps traffic flowing better in busy times. But at 4 in the morning in the middle of summer on a dry road with no other traffic in sight I was pulled over and given three penalty points and a fine for doing 62mph. On a three lane motorway I think 62mph is an ok speed when no other traffic is there and the road is in good condition. The police sit and collect money at that time because they know people will speed but it is not about safety it is only about making money in fines. If it was for safety they would be there at 4 in the afternoon! With speed in general someone who has many years experience with no accidents or maybe someone who drives for a living like a delivery driver or a cabbie will be more able to drive safely at 35mph than a newly qualified driver or someone who drives occasionally or someone who has had many accidents will do at 25mph. That stands to reason. Individual drivers should be taken into account instead of just a set limit of speed. There is a speed camera near my house on a long stretch of road with no real dangers yet one the next road there are two schools but no speed camera. If it is for safety why not have them where they will be more useful? I think they are put where the police know they will make more money! Also when people pass a speed camera they slow down then speed up when they are past. That is dangerous driving! Another thing is that people driving past a camera stare at their speedo and make sure the needle doesn't go above the limit. Look out for that you probably dont realise that you do it!!! Not concentrating on the road is dangerous! And also cameras on the other side of the street flashing are very distracting and leave a little spot of light in the eyes of oncoming motorists which isn
9;t very good and could lead to crashes! I think that there are lots of issues with speed and I have only spoken of a few but it certainly isn't just a black and white issue - although the speeding photographs are black and white and the fines are issued!!
When I was a young thing I dated a boy for a few weeks. He was lovely and kind and caring but we weren't really made for each other so we split up. Another girl who I knew started to date him not long after and they eventually got married. They had a good house and enough money and seemed to be doing well but after several years I heard they had split. I belived it to be because he was an alcoholic and it had been too much of a strain. He passed out of local knowledge for many years but recently he has returned. I have not spoken to him but my sister has and she has told me that he ended up living on the streets in London as a tramp and a beggar. I couldn't believe it because he had been so nice when I knew him. He is now living in a local homeless unit and has been given a job as a caretaker for the retail park carpark which he cleans of litter and tidies up any loose trolleys. I do not know if he still takes a drink but I don't think he does becasue he is never to be seen walking around the town drunk. I don't know very much about the lifes of the homeless beggars but I think that at least this one man is trying to get back on his feet and with a little bit of help he is getting there. If people walk past and don't help or if the council don't help then there is not much hope for these people, men and women. I think we don't need to put them in the army but should make sure that there are places for them to go and jobs for them to do for pay. That way they can get themselves back on thier feet and out of the streets.
Having babies is lovely and bringing a new life into the world is the most beautiful thing but sometimes the stretchmarks left aren't so beautiful! It is not only pregnancy that can cause such stretch marks but also putting on weight and even some forms of exercise that make you stretch a lot. They are not harmful to the skin but they look a bit ugly and are like corned beef. When I was pregnant I started to get stretchies at about 27 weeks and they go worse as my baby grew bigger and by the full term I looked like a map of the uk motorways network! I knew I would get them and tried various things to lesen the effect but I still got them. I tried massaging my skin with special anti-stretchmark oils which was fun when I got my rat of an ex-husband to massage it for me. I also tried to eat many foods with the correct viamins for healthy skin like vitamin C and vitamin E and zinc. I got the worst of them on my boobs and my belly under my navel. They have faded over time and are not so noticable any more and I look sexy again but it has taken a long time. My new man says that he would have found them sexy anyway and would trace them with his tongue or something like that so do not be in despair if you get them as some men can find them sexy!
A couple of weeks ago I met a new man who was really nice. He was a non-smoker and didn't like the smell of me like an ashtray especially when I was stale in the morning. He was also very athletic in the bedroom and I was getting out of puff trying to match his prowess. I decided that I had to give up smoking. In the past I have tried nicotine patches but they made me feel a bit sick and made me have a round rash on the bit where I had stuck the patch. I also tried gum but I still had to smoke with that as it wasnt doing me any good at all! The last thing I tried was nicotine tabs that you put under the tongue when you need a puff. They were great for keeping the craving away for a short time like when I was watching a movie in the cinema or on a flight but when I got out I needed a real smoke to get that clogged up feeling back into my lungs. I knew that none of the nicotine replacement methods worked for me and I was scared to try accupunture because needles make me faint and hypnosis because my friend said that sometimes the hypnotist can look at your boobs or even take photos of you while you are under their spell. So this time I used only my own willpower and it has worked so far. Every day I put the money for 40 B&H in a jar and I have £112 already so I can buy something nice. Also I think of the hard times I have been through already and tell myself that one smoke will undo all of that good work. I think willpower is the best way to quit and I hope that when I go to the pub for gins and tonic that I don't give up giving up!!
The description of the topic for discussion says there are two issues to be discussioned: should companies have the right to monitor their employees? emails and Internet use; and should the Government and security services be able to monitor individuals? personal Internet and email use? I will try to say a bit about both topics of discussion. If a company provides email and web browsing facilities as part of the equipment for getting on with the working day then it should not be abused for personal use. If the equipment is only being used for work purposes then there should be no problem with employers monitoring because it is all work related stuff anyway isn't it? The only people who would worry are the people who steal time and payment from their company and use the internet to surf for their own enjoyment! The second part of the question is about the Government and security services being able to monitor individuals? personal Internet and email use and again the real answer is that the only people who would be worried are people with something to worry about. Is it an invasion of human rights of privacy? Yes, but no more so than other things like cctv cameras all over the place. I don't think the government are interested in your gossip with your friends but if you are swapping child pornography they will find out and catch you by monitoring. I think they would only monitor individuals if they had reason to and if it stops crime them that is fine by me!
The criminal system of justice in the united kingdom leaves a lot to be desired at times but at least we don't cut peoples hands off like they do in some countries and then find out that they got the wrong person! We use community service and fines and jail and sometimes curfews to deter people from committing crimes against others. I think that sometimes the sentence should be more like the crime committed for example if someone graffitis a wall they should be made to clean up 100 other walls that have been graffitti'd. Or if they burgle someones house the police should go to the burglars house and take all of his stuff and give it to someone who needs it like maybe a tramp or something. People who steal cars should be made to drive council owned Skodas and give old women who smell of widdle to church in the morning. When I drive my car without a tax disc or an MOT valid and if someone crashes into me then I think that even if they failed to stop at a junction or something it is still my fault by the law because I shouldn't have been on the road in the first place because I didn't have valid documentations. The same logic should be applied to criminals of other type like the people who broke into that farmer blokes house and he shot them they shouldn't have been there to start with so it was their own fault! If someone does a small crime like shoplifting a tin of beans then they should get off with it the first time unless it is a big value of over £25. The second time they should be made to package messages for people at the checkouts for every day for six weeks. The third time they should be given a £300 fine and the fourth time sent to jail for a month and the fifth time sent to jail for a year. That would stop people from doing the same crime again. Criminals of a sexual nature like beasts should have their private parts castrated off the first time they offend then they couldn't do it again. Mas mu
rderers like the yorkshire ripper and the fred west should be hanged by the neck until dead. People who cause noise in the street late at night should be fined very heavily indeed. The last thing that I think needs to be sorted out is the young thugs who are taken for days out to do things like canoe's and other watersports. I think that is well out of order because the good boys and girls don't get any treats like that so their is no incentive to be good. I think good people should be given treats and the baddies miss out. People who have lots of accounts on dooyoo should not be able to benefit by claiming vouchers after they go round rating other people not useful with various alter egos in revenge for a useful rating and they should not be allowed to stay on the site after they have been reported for cheating. The criminal justice system on dooyoo can be the worst of the lot!!
