We needed a new vacuum cleaner and decided to give the Dyson dc04 a go after all the good reports we heard about. The Dyson dc04 has got a 120-watt motor and does not need a dust bag. All the tools are built in to the Hoover so you don’t have to search to find any of the tools. Lifetime washable electrostatic pre motor filter and lifetime electrostatic post motor filter. Easy pull out hose with an instant suction change and a large see through easy to empty collection bin. The only fault I can find with this incredible Hoover is that it does not clean against walls and other type of hurdles (“2” inches away must be cleaned with the hose pipe). I never had seen a Hoover with such a great suction before. Great value for only £219 from most stores
The time has nearly come for Sevn Goran Eriksson to manage his First ever England match, it might be only a friendly match against Spain but these are the matches that the England supporters and Media will be very quick to criticise the manager. I was one of the first that could not believe England had appointed a foreign manager. Sevn left a very big Italian club Lazio to become the latest English manager so he must think he can do a good job. Over the last month he has been seen at various grounds, watching matches that you can’t see who is here to watch. He has got a few advisors that supposed to advise him on player selections, he better not listen to them. If the New England manager picked the same squad as his predecessor how could he become successfully in his new job, changes will have to be made. Here are the surprise names in his first squad to face Spain on Wednesday night; Ball, Eiough, Powell, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, and Carrick. Lets see if any of these players make it to the team and how well they perform before judging. It will take time for Sven to make England one of the most feared internationals teams in the world again
The Dettox anti bacterial surface cleanser comes in a 500ml spray bottle with a safety trigger, just spray on the surface and wipe it clean with a cloth. The number one surface cleaner that kills germs and virus, great to wipe up after young children and babies, on highchairs, potties, changing mats and playpens. Can al so be in the kitchen on worktops, chopping boards and all other surfaces. This cleaner leaves no smell and is safe to use where food is prepared and there is no need to rinse. Can be bought from most superstores priced at £1.65 (Tesco)
Have you got a white sink but can’t back to the whiteness it once was then try Tesco’s thick bleach. On most sinks to day it tells you not to use any form of bleach to clean the sink with but the plumber that fitted my sink said it will not do it any harm, ever since that this advise had been given to me I use no other than bleach to clean it with. Tesco bleach brings the whiteness back and kills all known germs. There is a safety cap fitted but I would not trust it. Tesco thick bleach is priced at £0.68
A friend referred me to ciao.com a few months ago and I slowly started to write some opinions; at first it seemed to be a very good site with three different bonus stages (depending on the number of opinions). I was mainly writing opinions in the bonus three stages where I was getting 30p for every opinion, 5p for every read and 9p for every opinion that a friend writes. I was impressed with the way my account was designed especially where you can see how much each opinion has earned you. But now ciao.com bonus three stage is over because they have reached their target of 80,000 opinions, this is where it has gone down hill they are now only offering 10p a opinion, 2p a read and I think a referral is only 3p. Your opinions were hardly ever read; you were not able to trust friends like dooyoo. I haven’t heard of anybody receiving their cheque yet, cheques get sent out quarterly. If ciao.com don’t improve their rates of pay and start to pay out money to those people who are owed they will not have any one left to write any new opinions

We must raise our glasses to the republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy for the hard work he has done with this team since he took over from Jack Charlton. When Mick took charge of the national team he had several players retiring at the time from the team and had to act quickly to find suitable replacements. Ireland just failed to get automatic qualification for the euro 2000 finals; Croatia scored a goal in the last minute to send Yugoslavia through instead of Ireland, and failed to beat turkey in the playoffs. Now the world cup qualifiers have started with Ireland already played two games and getting two suburb draws against the two favourites in the group (Portugal 1-1 and Holland 2-2). When Jack Charlton took control of the republic of Ireland they were not a good side and Jack transformed them into a challenging team and Mick has to continue in the same way
The big blue bottle known as Domestos has come down in price to only 89p at all known stores, when applying this germ killer you know where it contacts it is free from all germs. This product is great for cleaning lavatories, clings to the side of the basin to last even longer. Can be used on most surfaces (see bottle when to dilute). This product has to be kept well out of children’s reach; I am very surprised that there is no safety cap fitted to this bottle. 750ml of Domestos will last quite a long time compared to other watery-based bleaches.
Another England manger has now departed company with the England senior team, after the 1 – 0 defeat by Germany Kevin Keegan resigned from the English set-up. This was no shock to see him walk out (or before he got sacked) after the F.A. told Keegan that there disappointing results in the euro 2000 finals that Howard Wilkinson will be assisting him in future games. The problem does not lie with Kevin Keegan but with the media and the English F.A., The F.A. will always listen to what the media are saying ever since England won the world cup in 1966 and they want another trophy in their cabinet. They have a pretty good team but they are no near good enough to win the European championships or the world cup, this is the problem most people think England are better than they really are. The question is not who’s the best manager to be appointed but who will do as they are told, we all remember in the eighties that England was looking for a new manager and the favourite at the time by a long shot was no other than brain clough the manager of Nottingham forest who just had won the league title and two European cups. The reason why he was not appointed England manager because he would have not been frightened to tell them where to go and would have managed them in his own way and not the way the F.A. wanted. I believe things might have been different for Kevin if he was able to manage them in his own way. My advise to the English F.A. is let the next manager manage the team in his own way and we might see an improvement in the results. Jackie Charlton a great England winning world cup player managed the republic of Ireland in his own way, he got some great results and today he is still known as god over there. The Irish team was not as good as the English team today but were fighters. So lets leave the new England manager alone and let him get on with his job in his own way.
Firstly we had the television programme who wants to be a millionaire now there is a quiz book about the show, well thought out quiz book and explained very well (over a thousand questions). Boxtree is the publisher and priced at £5.99 available from most book retailers. It’s a must for those who love this game show. How do you fancy being Chris Tarrant and asking up to fifthteen questions? And saying to a contestant you have won £64,000 but we don’t wont to give you that. All the questions are categorised into value they are worth and with a score sheet for you to keep that persons score (who uses any of there lifelines). The quiz book is the same as the show you have to answer questions correctly, after answering each question correctly at the bottom of each page it will tell you were to go next. At any time you get stuck with a question you can use a 50/50 (pages at the back of this book will give you the two reaming answers, ask the audience (this works by asking everyone around what they think and you can go with the majority) and finally phone a friend (pick the phone up and ask someone). Finally here is a teaser that was on the back of this book that is a million pound question. Salem is the capital of which American state? (A) Delaware (B) Maryland (C) Oregon (D) Vermont the answer will be in my commentary
Microsoft word 2000 has two great features, firstly when typing a word and it has been underlined with a red wavy line this means it has been spelt incorrectly to rectify this click on the right hand mouse button and a list of known words will appear. Secondly after typing a correct spelt word that gets underlined with a green wavy line this means that there is a grammar error which is so simple to correct it, click on right hand mouse button and you will see the word you just typed and click on it and the problem will be solved this may be because the space between words is to wide or there may be a comer needed or so on. Words can be added in this spell checker. These are two main features that impressed me so much, there is a lot you can do on this great word processor. I would recommend Microsoft word 2000, so go and get it.
I have been a user of Microsoft excel for about six years now and still claim that you wont find a better spreadsheet anywhere, recently I started to use excel 2000 and surprised how far it has improved compared to the last one I used (excel 95). For beginners it may seem impossible to get excel to do what you want but with the help of the excel assistant (help – the piece of paper that always pops up) it will assist you in any way it can. The spreadsheet can be used for anything from keeping address up to date to solving mathematical problems. There are quite of a lot of features that comes with the excel 2000 package just like the ones before (just been improved) once you have got this package I would not bother upgrading to the next one, there’s not that much different.
I thought I would give gotoworld.com ago that was advertised on my view bar, just like all the other pay as you surf sites, you register and download their view bar. They assign a ten digit I.D. number after you register with them and also get emailed to your inbox with the registration details. The annoying thing about this on line perk is when you start your Internet browser up for the first time since joining it asks you for your I.D. number and password, when you decide to cancel your login you are taken straight to gotoworld.com and not your home page. You get paid for the first forty hours of surf time @ $0.40, any referrals al so get paid @$0.10 per hour, second hand referrals get paid @$0.15 per hour and third hand referrals get $0.20 per hour and there is no limit on how many referrals you have. After you have earned $20 you can go to your account page and click on the icon that says, “send me my cheque” it will take between 60 and 90 days before it is despatched to you. I have only been a member since September so I can’t really make any comments either way. ............................................................ Update It only takes a minute to download the view bar; the size of this blue view bar is the same width as alladvantage but an inch shorter. At the moment this pay site is not as good as alladvantage, I have not been using this very long yet.
When fantasy football was first introduced in our national newspaper I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, you either entered by post or by telephone but you had to pay for them whatever way you decided to enter. A high percentage of football followers entered at least one of the fantasy football games in the paper it was new and different. But today you will find out that the percentage has dramatically fallen due to the free fantasy games on the Internet. Really all the newspaper fantasy football is the same with one paper slightly changing the rules or the format. It is a good way of keeping an interest in all the premier league clubs. Prize money in the papers beats all the free fantasy competitions on the Internet, none of them can match the £50,000 that goes to the winner in some papers.
If you are like me on a Saturday afternoon and like to have a flutter on the football at the bookies and would like to be kept informed of the goals that are scored in all divisions then start watching Gillette soccer special on sky sports. Gillette soccer special starts at 12pm Saturday afternoon until 6pm that evening. Jeff sterling hosts this programme with a panel of four experts that commentate on four featured games, the panel may change from week to week which includes the likes of Frank Mclintock, Rodney Marsh, Clive Allen, Alan McNally, George Best and others. There will be match updates of other matches that are not in the featured games in the premiership and they have their own commenter at a featured first division class whom is Chris Kamera (who always gets over excited). Once 3’ o’clock approaches a video printer appears at the bottom of your screen, the video printer shows the time of the latest goals, the score and the goal scorer in all divisions in England and Scotland. On the right hand side of your screen will be the latest scores in the premiership, a couple of chosen games in the first and the top matches in the Scots premier. Before the football starts and finishes there are previews of all premiership games and the final match reports
