      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Nice taste and good price.

Every single day when I first wake up I put the kettle on before doing anything else. While the kettle is boiling I then put the heating on if it is a cold day like in the winter months and then I go back to making a couple of cups of coffee. I always like 2 cups of coffee to drink first thing in the morning so it helps wake me up a little and to kick start my day. This coffee is one I buy regularly.

It comes in a glass jar which has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on the shelf. It has a screw off lid which is very easy to twist.

The coffee is a nice brown shade and looks nice inside the jar and inviting. The coffee is fine granules which are nice and not like a fine powder. They are a decent size. The smell is really nice once the lid is removed and it has a nice aroma which I love. It is a fairly strong coffee smell but really pleasant.

I like a strong cup of coffee so I generally like to spoon 1 and a half teaspoons into my cup so that it is a strong taste. With this coffee I only need to use this amount for a strong taste and any more of the coffee would be too strong for me personally because it is too strong if I spoon any more spoons into the cup.

It dissolves really well in the hot water in no time at all and in just a couple of stirs. One dissolved in the water it smells really nice and again quite a strong smell.

It doesn't have that bitter taste or nasty taste which some brands of coffee can tend to have, with this one it is a nice smooth taste and a rich one. It tastes super in my opinion. I dislike that bitter taste because a bitter taste makes me feel a little sick when I drink it but that feeling doesn't have that kind of bitter taste at all.

If you love a nice cup or mug of coffee this one I think is a nice decent one to drink. I generally ony ever drink coffee in the mornings and then move onto tea in the afternoons unless I have visitors then I tend to drink coffee if my guest prefer coffee while visiting my home. This one is a super tasting coffee to offer your guests in my opinion and none of my guests have ever complained they don't like the taste of it. Some of my guests just like one teaspoon of coffee and some like it far stronger than I do and like 2 teaspoons. Whichever way any guests prefer their coffee this one always goes down well with my visitors that's for sure.

For a 100g jar I recently paid just £2 for it from my local shop and on the jar label it is priced at £2.59, so a little saving and well worth this price in my opinion. It is very good value for the money and the quality of the coffee is really good too.

I highly do recommend this coffee if you haven't bought it before, I don't think you will be disappointed with the taste of it at all and it is certainly a really good buy and brand.

I will continue to buy this coffee in the future because it gives me all of the smooth taste I expect from this brand of coffee.

I give this coffee 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Softens hair.

I take pride in the appearance of my hair and like it to look in the best condition possible. I have grown it quite long and so I am finding that I need to make sure I take better care of it. I do blow dry my hair most days and so I like to make sure I use a shampoo which will help keep the moisture in my hair. I decided to buy this one to see if it was suitable for my hair.

The shampoo comes inside a plastic bottle and has the name clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on the shelf.

The shampoo is a pearly white colour and has a thick, rich consistency. It doesn't drip from the bottle while pouring it onto the hands. It has a soft, smooth texture to it and has a sweet fragrance with a strange kind of smell. Pretty hard to describe but it has a slight perfume fragrance with a twist of a sugary smell. A really nice fragrance and one I like quite a lot. Not at all a sickly smell at all but a really pleasant one.

You don't need much of the shampoo to create a good lather on the hair. I just use a small blob and this amount is enough to wash my long hair. It also creates lots of bubbles and foam on the hair and the smell lingers all the time I am washing my hair with this shampoo. A little goes a long way too.

It contains Australian Macadamia nut oil which is designed to soften and condition the hair. Also contains Aloe Vera. It claims to nourish the hair and leave it in a good condition. I have found my hair to appear in a slightly better condition but not a great deal. It is a little softer than when I have used a cheaper brand but I have found it isn't an amazing difference considering this one is priced at a lot higher than some other well known brands.

My hair doesn't feel dry and just feels soft but I find my hair feels almost the same way when I have used a cheaper shampoo. It doesn't leave my hair feeling all lanky and it doesn't weigh it down at all so that is a bonus. I have quite thick hair and it is coloured and I find it doesn't fade my colour at all and my colour looks bright and glossy looking.

This one is priced at around £4.40 for a 300ml bottle, it is also available in a larger bottle of 500ml and is priced at around £6. Also available in a travel size bottle which costs just over a £1,so worth buying a travel one if you cannot afford the larger sized bottles and just want to test it to see if it is one which is suitable for your hair and I think this price is affordable.

In my opinion I don't think it is worth these prices for the way it makes my hair feel, I have found the cheaper ones work just as well. I think maybe my hair isn't quite as dry as I maybe thought it appeared and is probably in a better condition than I first thought since using this shampoo. I think if you have very dry hair, it may be a good one to try and may be more suitable but for my hair I don't think it works that well for softening my hair but it washes really well. I think it is maybe over priced but that is just my opinion on the way it leaves my own hair.

I have washed my grandson's hair using this shampoo and it hasn't irritated his scalp or my own scalp. It has washed his hair well and has left it looking nice and glossy.

My hair is manageable after washing it with this shampoo, it is a very good quality one too.
I don't think I would buy this one again in the future because I just think it is over priced. It didn't really meet my expectations that well and I did expect my hair to feel a whole lot better since it is a higher priced shampoo.

I do recommend it if you have very dry, damaged hair and hair which may need extra attention but if your hair is in a good condition I think some other cheaper branded ones would work just as well in my opinion. I think it is a little expensive if you are on a very low budget and so I think you would be wiser buying a cheaper brand if you are struggling to save a little money.

Also on Ciao under my username pinky50.

I give this one 4 stars. Dropping a star because of the high price.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Nice crumbly pastry

I love custard tarts and find them a really enjoyable to eat food. I simply cannot resist custard tarts and I buy these tarts from Sainsbury's on a regular basis. They aren't expensive to buy and the price suits my budget.

The tarts come inside a cardboard box which has the name clearly on the front and can easily be spotted on the shelf on the fridge. The tarts come inside a foil container which holds the tarts well inside it. I find it is very easy to take the tart out of the container with no problems at all.

The custard is inside the short crust pastry cup which is a nice texture and fairly crumbly.. It is a firm enough textured pastry. The custard is a pale yellow colour and has a sprinkling of nutmeg over the top. The custard is also a nice texture too and the pastry cup holds the custard well inside the pastry.

One the first bite of the tart the custard feels nice and soft, the pastry crumbles well enough but it can be a little messy so I would eat it over a tea plate if you can so you don't make a mess of the floor if you are eating them at home. I think the custard and the pastry work really well together to give a nice taste. The custard tastes sweet but not a sickly sweetness. The pastry is a soft texture and I find they are really easy to chew and swallow with no problem at all. My little grandchildren love these tarts and they can also easily chew and swallow them. They are packed with flavour and don't have a bland taste at all.

The pastry also doesn't feel fatty in the mouth like some pastry tends to taste. This pastry is not a fatty taste at all and really enjoyable to eat.

They are a good size and they are circular shape, they are small enough to hold comfortable in the hand too. I have sometimes sliced one in half for my middle grandchild because the tart is sometimes a little big for her to eat and she sometimes only likes to eat half a tart at a time. I can easily slice it in half and then save the other half for later and it is me who generally eats the other half later in the day because the little one has usually gone back home by then so I eat it! certainly cannot waste one of these little beauties.

They are very filling too and most certainly satisfying to eat. The custard and the pastry doesn't taste cheap even though they are cheap to buy.

Each one contains 232 calories so maybe a lot of calories if you are on a diet plan or healthy eating plan. One would be ideal for a little treat but if you eat more than one it would be a lot of calories from your daily allowance so this is worth bearing in mind before eating more than one of them at a time.

Contain 62% short crust pastry and the egg custard filling contains cow's milk pasteurised free range egg.

Tells me on the box that for allergy sufferers it contains milk egg and wheat gluten and is not suitable for nut allergy sufferers due to manufacturing methods.

I bought a pack of 4 tarts for just £1.10 and I think for this price the tarts are well worth this price and are very good value for the money and affordable for any budget. The quality is really good too in my opinion.

I highly recommend these tarts and I will buy them again in the future because I do love them quite a lot and I am satisfied with the taste of them too. I often want to eat more than one at a time because I find egg custard really moreish.

          I give them 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Creates lots of bubbles.

Buying a shops own brand can sometimes save a lot of money and sometimes it can be the opposite and be a complete waste of money. I hadn't bought this one before, so thought it would be worth a go. I do like the smell of mandarins so thought I would like at least the fragrance.

It comes inside a transparent plastic bottle which has a flip back lid. Just has the label on the front with name clearly on the front. Nothing special to look at and just a basic label.

The liquid is an orange colour, it has a rich consistency and flows well from the bottle and doesn't drip. I was surprised how rich this washing up liquid actually is considering it is a shops own brand. It has a really nice fragrance being a citrus smell, being mandarin & mango fragrance. I cannot detect any smell of the mango ingredient and can only smell mandarin. I love the smell of this liquid. Is a really refreshing smell and a nice aroma while I am washing my dishes.

You don't need a lot of the liquid to create a lather in the water, just a quick squeeze of the bottle directly into the water is well enough to create lots of bubbles. With this liquid I also find the bubbles have staying power, so I can leave any dishes or saucepans to soak in the water if I have any pans which have burned on food at the bottom of the pans and need to be soaked for a while. This liquid works well at attacking the burned on food to release it etc.

It washes my dishes well, cleans my glasses and glass vases well and leaves them sparklingly clean. It removes grease from my dishes and cuts well into the grease without me having to either leave them to soak too long or having to scrub them too much. The liquid does the work and I was surprised how well this liquid does cut into grease. A little also goes a long way because if you squeeze too much into the water, there are then too many bubbles which isn't necessary. Cleans stainless steel cutlery well too, also cutlery with those glass kind of handles, I have a few odd teaspoons which have the glass handles and it has cleaned the handles well and the steel of the spoons.

It rinses well from the dishes and leaves them streak free once dried. My drinking glasses do sparkle when dry too and I am happy with the way this one leaves this shine to my glasses. They don't look dingy or discoloured and just a nice shine to them.

I have soaked my dishcloths in a solution of water and a little of this liquid in a bowl and left the cloths to soak overnight. The next morning the cloths smell and are then clean and ready to use again.

I have found this liquid hasn't irritated my skin or left them feeling too dry. I do wear rubber gloves to wash my dishes but if I only have a couple of dishes I want to wash during the day without wearing gloves I have just used my bare hands and the liquid hasn't irritated my skin or caused any rashes etc.
I am really pleased with the way this liquid washes dishes, removes all traces of food from them and cuts into the grease really well. It is a good quality liquid and good value for money.

It costs only 87p for a 740ml bottle, a lot of liquid for this price in my opinion and well worth the price I paid. I think it is so affordable for any budget and especially so if you are wanting to drop a brand and try a good liquid which cleans dishes well and with a nice refreshing orange smell.

I will most certainly buy this one again in the future, I am pleased I gave it a go and a little does go a very long way. I highly do recommend it for others to try and I don't think you would be disappointed in the way it cleans saucepans, dishes and glassware.

The bottle can be recycled too.

Also on Ciao under my username pinky50.

I give this one 5 stars.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Nice fragrance, gentle gel.

I don't really mind if I use a gel or powder detergent when I wash my fabrics and tend to use both equally and it depends which is on special offer at the time and if I cannot find one on offer I just usually choose which one I have bought before and have liked quite a lot. This one was one I have bought many times in the past and like it quite a lot.

It comes in a plastic bottle with the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. It has a removable lid which is to be used to measure the liquid and the cap is to be used inside the machine drum.

The liquid is a thick gel which is quite a rich consistency and doesn't drip from the bottle while pouring it into the cap. The gel has a really nice fragrance to it and has a nice floral scent and it smells like a bunch of rose flowers in my opinion. The scent is quite a strong one but not overpowering.

You just have to fill the cap with the gel and then place it on top of the fabrics in the washing machine. The gel flows onto the fabrics well. It cleans my fabrics extremely well and removes any stains from them. I have found it also removes stubborn stains well too and grease. When I wash my hubby's work clothing which has grease on them it removes it well and the ground in dirt from his dirty job. Removes chocolate well too from my grandchildren's clothing and any dried on food which sometimes can be difficult to remove with some detergents but with this one I have found it has always removed the food really well. My little granddaughter's bib she wears when eating dinner at my home is quite dirty after she has eaten and this gel removes all traces of the food she has eaten and is as good as new again.

Cleans towels well and bedding, curtains and cushion covers and any cloths you may need to wash in a machine and also dusters. I washed my Kelly Hoppen bedspread with this gel for the first time and I was a little worried how the bedspread would wash being the first time washing it and I was really happy with the results from this gel. The liquid didn't leave any residue on the bedspread after it had dried and no marks were left on it. So I had nothing to worry about after washing it with this gel.

I find it cleans fabrics well on a lower setting on my machine and a 30% setting. I like to wash on a lower setting when possible and this gel cleans really well on a lower setting.

When I take my fabrics from my machine I can smell the fragrance immediately and once they have dried I can smell it on the dry clothing when I take them from my wardrobe or drawers. I think this gel has staying power on the fabrics for a very long time. It does tend to fade a little after a few weeks of being in the wardrobe and drawers but that is expected as with a lot of brands.

It hasn't caused any rashes or irritations to my sensitive skin or the skin of my little grandchildren. I think it is a nice delicate gel and not a harsh one at all in my opinion.

For a 888ml bottle is costs around £6 and for this price I think it is very good value for the price. It is designed to wash up to 24 wash loads so quite a lot of washes. The quality of the gel is really good too.

I love this gel and I am more than happy to recommend it if you like to use a gel for washing your fabrics. I highly recommend it and I will continue to buy it in the future because it gives me all the results which I expect from a branded gel.

I give this gel 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Cleans well and good price.

Flash is a brand which has been around for a very long time. It is a brand I would call a reliable one and one which I find does clean very well. I have bought this product quite a few times and it is one which I find useful for cleaning around my home.

It comes in a plastic bottle which has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. It also has a trigger action nozzle which I find really easy to press to release the spray onto my surfaces.

It sprays a really even mist onto the surface and it doesn't shoot from the nozzle and hits the surface well. It is a fairly thick liquid which is white in colour and it has a slight hint of bleach fragrance to it but it isn't a very strong smell of the bleach like you may imagine, it is a subtle scent and also quite a pleasant one in my opinion. It also has a subtle eucalyptus scent to it which is a really nice fragrance and I think this scent and the bleach work extremely well together in my opinion and I like the smell of it quite a lot. I think it has just the correct amount of bleach aroma for a spray cleaner. It doesn't blow your head off when you spray it.

In terms of how this cleaner works for cleaning around the home it works extremely well. You don't need to spray a lot of it for it to clean well. A little does go a very long way. It is a nice one to clean my bathroom sink, I just give it a quick spray and then leave it for a few seconds and then wipe it with a damp cloth. My sink isn't very dirty because I don't have any young children living in my home so a few seconds is well enough to clean it well. When my little grandchildren have stayed over for the weekend and my sink is a little more dirty than usual I do find I have to leave the cleaner for a little longer to just attack the dirt more easily but it is only up to around a minute or so longer and the cleaner works its magic and removes the dirt well.

It works well for cleaning my bath and when I use it to clean the bath I do leave the spray on the surface for around 2 minutes or so just to make sure all of the marks are removed and no scum is left behind.. It works well used around my taps on both my bath and bathroom sink too.

It cleans the base of my shower really well and removes any residue left from shampoo, conditioners and body washing products. I have used it to clean my stainless steel sink in my kitchen too and I have found it hasn't ruined the steel at all and it has removed any stains on the base of my sink really well and I don't need to scrum it to remove the stains. This cleaner does all of the hard work for you and takes little effort to remove the dirt and grime. I have used it also to clean my kitchen work tops and it has removed the dirt really well.

It is a nice one to clean tiles too and removes any grease from them really well.

This cleaner is also really easy to rinse from the surface in no time at all. It doesn't leave any white residue on the surfaces after it has dried. The surfaces look really clean and when used on bathroom surfaces, the surfaces look shiny and not dull in appearance.

For a 500ml bottle I paid just £1 for it from Asda and I think for this price it is extremely good value for the money and well worth the price in my opinion. The quality is really good too.

I highly do recommend this cleaner for anyone looking to buying a cleaner which works well without having to scrum the surface being cleaned. I will keep on buying this cleaner in the future because it gives me all of the results which I expect from a branded cleaning spray.

I give this one 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                Soft cotton.

I use quite a lot of cotton wool and I have bought this cotton wool from Boots quite a few times and so I know it is a nice soft cotton. Is a product which is ideal for a new born baby because I used them when my grandchildren were born.

It comes in a transparent plastic bag which has the name very clearly on the bag so can be easily spotted on a shelf. The cotton wool is a soft texture and are balls of cotton wool. The balls are a little smaller than some other brands but I find they are still a good size and adequate enough size to use for cleansing etc.

The balls are 100% cotton and the fibres of the cotton are quite fluffy and the fluff remains on the balls and doesn't fall from the balls as I have found some other cheaper brands have tended to do while using them dry. I like to use these balls for removing my nail polish, they are comfortable to hold in my hands to sweep over my polish. They absorb really well when I pour my nail polish remover onto them to remove the polish. I only have to use a couple of balls at a time to remove the polish.

I use them for removing my facial cleansing lotion, they remove the lotion really well in no time at all and do feel nice and soft on my skin and don't feel rough because the wool is quite soft and so it doesn't scratch my skin or feel uncomfortable. They are ideal for removing eye shadow and I just pour a small amount of eye make up remover onto a ball and make sure it is wet enough and then very gently sweep it over my lid and the shadow is removed in no time at all. I always make sure the ball is wet to make sure than none of the fibres part from the ball.

These are ideal for cleaning a child's face and are soft enough to use on their more delicate skins. I have used them lots of times to clean around my little grandchildren's noses when they have chocolate or food stuck around the area. I just simple dampen a ball or 2 and gently wipe over the nostrils and the food attaches to the ball perfectly and soft enough not to make their skin sore etc.

I use them sometimes for cleansing my skin with natural ingredients such as lemon and sugar when I have a day when I want to use natural ingredients on my skin. I use the lemon juice and sugar for exfoliating my hands sometimes when they are quite dry and I want to remove the dead skin cells using natural ingredients and for my pamper days. The balls absorb the juice and sugar well and are gentle balls to rub very gently over the skin on my hands.

There are 100 balls in the bag and I think that is a huge amount of balls for just 95p. I think they are very good value for money for this price and well worth the money. The quality of the cotton is extremely good too. They are so affordable for any budget in my opinion.

The wool is manufactured using natural fibres but may contain small pieces of stalk, husk or cotton seed. I have never come across any stalks, husk or any seeds in any packs I have ever bought but this is worth bearing in mind when using them for a new born baby or young child. I just check the ball first before using them but this is just something to be aware of when using them and just a guideline.

I highly do recommend these cotton balls, they are affordable and worth a go if you are wanting to drop a brand and try a cheap one and one which the cotton is still has a soft texture. I don't think you would be disappointed in the quality of these balls. Simply cannot go wrong buying these cotton balls.
I will continue to buy these balls in the future because they work well for removing nail polish and cleansing the skin and cheap enough to buy.

I give these balls 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

Strong plastic and lots of variation of foods.

I bought my little grandson a play shopping trolley a few years ago which has served us well and still going strong. We used to have play food but have lost quite a few items and I wanted to buy some play food to replace the lost items and also to have more items to place into the trolley now my little granddaughter plays with it and has tended to be more interested in it than my grandson was at the same age. I spotted this larger pack of food so decided to buy it.
The food comes inside a cardboard box, there are 104 food items and the items are plastic and they are really brightly coloured items. The plastic is quite sturdy plastic but they do tend to bend a little bit but that isn't an issue because my granddaughter does take really good care of her toys.

There are pieces of fruit and vegetables, 19 vegetables and 16 fruits. There is a chicken leg, burger2 sausages and meat. There are bakery and canned foods. 2 ice cream cones and a box of French fries. Also there are 12 cardboard boxes which come flat packed and so have to be put together which is very easy to do. There are also bottles of sauce, and lots of different food items we all buy weekly such as milk and orange juice.
All of the items look like real foods we buy at the supermarket and a good size. All brightly coloured and also the boxes of food have the name on the front which a child may recognise. These foods are ideal for placing inside a child's shopping trolley for them to push around the home or garden. These items don't fall through my grandchildren's trolley, they fit extremely well.

This pack of food is ideal for the little ones to role play and to play shops and are really good to use if your child also owns a till. My grandchildren have a till and my little grandson and myself often play shops and I have to pay for my items lol.
Are ideal for a child to just role play in a playhouse and want to use the fruit and vegetables etc for a meal they are cooking. My grandchildren have a toy kitchen and these items are fabulous for them to play cook with the kitchen.

Because there are so many items in the pack it means the children can share them with their friends or siblings and all have some of the items each and hopefully share them and swap lol. One child could be the fruit and vegetable shop and the other a supermarket, and maybe one could be a burger van. I have often got the short straw and been the burger van assistant wearing an apron lol.
They are a sturdy plastic and can last a long time. They don't really hurt a child if they are throw at them if the children don't play nicely, the plastic is soft enough not to mark a child even though it is a strong plastic it isn't hard surfaced. They are very lightweight items.

They are designed for children 3 years and over.
I paid just £9.99 for the 104 items and I think this is extremely good value for the price and the amount of food variety. I think they are also a good quality plastic and not flimsy. I bought it from Argos.

These would make an ideal Christmas present from Santa or for a birthday gift or just a treat for the little ones. They are so affordable and will last a very long time if taken care of the food.
The box doesn't look like it holds 104 items but because the boxes are flat packed they all fit nicely inside the box and not a huge box if you are maybe wanting to buy it to post to a loved one and not cost too much to send through the post.

I highly recommend this food pack, I don't think you would be disappointed in all of the items and the vast choice of food. It will entertain a child for a good few hours playing with them and doing their role play.

Also appears on Ciao under my username pinky50.

I give this food pack 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                    Advantages

                    Disadvantages

Softens hair well and good price.

When I bought the shampoo from this brand I also decided to buy the matching hair conditioner too to give it a go because I hadn't bought it before. I don't always buy matching products and generally buy both products if they are on special offer. This one was so I bought it at the same time as I bought the shampoo.

It comes in a plastic bottle and has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. The conditioner is white in colour and has a nice consistency which is quite rich and it doesn't drip from the bottle while pouring it onto the hands. It also flows well from the bottle too.

It is a creamy kind of liquid and has a really nice fragrance to it. It has a slight floral scent to it and mostly has a perfume fragrance. I think the small amount of floral one works well with this conditioner. The scent isn't too over powering but it is a strong scent. I can smell it when I am working it into my hair and after my hair has dried. The smell is also a little sweet smelling too.

You don't need a lot of the conditioner to soften the hair. A little goes a very long way and using too much isn't necessary. If you use too much it becomes too heavy on the hair and weighs it down a little but if you only just a small amount the hair is fine and it doesn't feel lanky.

It claims to lock in the moisture and give it hair salon results and a natural appearance. I think this is a super conditioner for softening the hair and giving it a nice glossy shine to it but I wouldn't say it is salon perfect. I have my hair washed when I go to the hairdressers and have for many years and wouldn't say this one works in quite the same way but it is still a good one. I am more than happy with the results. Contains vitamin E to help condition the hair really well.

My hair has movement after blow drying it. It flows from side to side and flows naturally. It doesn't leave any residue on the hair and it doesn't leave that sticky feeling.

After conditioning the hair and leaving it on the hair for a couple of minutes before rinsing it off, it is very easy to style the hair. I can easily brush my brush through my hair without my hair feeling all tangled etc. my brush simply brushes through it really well.

My Velcro rollers can easily be placed in and out of my hair without becoming entangled around my hair. Because my hair is so soft it easily can wind around my hair well after using this conditioner.

I can feel how soft my hair feels when I run my fingers through my hair or place my hair behind my ears which I do quite a lot and I can feel how smooth my hair feels when I do this.

For a 900ml bottle I paid £2.40 on special offer from Tesco and I think this is a very good value price for this amount of conditioner in the bottle. The quality is really good too.

I am really happy with the results from this conditioner and I will most certainly buy it again in the future. I highly recommend it for others to buy and I think it would be a really nice one to try if you have a lot of people in your family who need to use a hair conditioner.

I give this one 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                      Advantages

                      Disadvantages

Softens lips well and cheap to buy.

I have dry, chapped lips during the winter months more than I do during the summer months and so have to apply a lip balm to help keep my skin feeling nice and moisturised and protected from the cold weather. I love the Nivea brand and it is one of my favourites.

It comes in a plastic tube and it has a twist action to reveal the balm. The balm is fairly firm but has a soft texture to it when applied to the lips. It glides across the lips really well and it is comfortable and doesn't tug at the skin etc. It has a slight fragrance to it which I can best describe as being a little clinical and a slight smell of vanilla. It is a pleasant smell and also a sweet kind of scent. It isn't an overpowering scent and just a nice one.

It is very easy to apply to the lips and to use it in the same way as you would apply a lipstick. Simply glides across the skin perfectly without tugging the skin or harming it. It has a slightly greasy feel to it once first applied to the skin but this feeling soon disappears. It doesn't leave the skin feeling tacky or uncomfortable.

It does a really good job of moisturising my lips and protecting them from the cold nasty weather. It softens them and really helps my lips from becoming chapped or uncomfortable and sore.

It contains a soothing and protecting formula which contains panthenol which conditions the skin and bisabolol which calms the skin and vitamin E.

Also it contains SPF 15 which helps protect the skin from the sun and help protect it. Good to know it has protection because we sometimes forget about protecting the skin on our lips and the lips are overlooked sometimes with protection.

I find this lip balm helps my skin feel nice and soft and when I rub my lips together after applying it to my skin, it feels soft immediately and my skin feels less dry and the more time it is on my lips the softer the skin becomes. My lips don't stick in the way when they are sticky like maybe after eating something really sticky and the food is on the lips. This feeling doesn't happen to my lips and they just feel nice and soft. This feeling means my lips aren't going to be sore or uncomfortable because this sticky feeling isn't pleasant on the lips for sure.

The tube can be carried in a bag and doesn't take up much space at all or it can be placed into a pocket so it can be used while outdoors for the day. I have found I do need to top up after using this balm but that is the same when using any brand and not just this one alone. It does last well on the lips and so topping up isn't one I have to do tons during the day to keep my lips nice and soft.

I think this one is more than suitable for males to use too and not just for women. It hasn't a feminine scent and so would be ideal for men to use too, to help soften their skin and also to help chapping and soreness on the skin.

This balm hasn't irritated my skin at all and I have found it is suitable for sensitive skin and my sensitive skin has been fine since using this lip balm. It is a gentle balm so would also be ideal for teenagers too.

For a 4.8g tube I bought it half price some time ago and I think the usual price is around £2.50 and I think for this price it is good value for money for the work it actually does for the skin. It is a very good price bought on offer. The quality is very good too.

I highly do recommend this lip balm if you are looking to buying a nice one which works a treat for softening the lips and protecting them. I don't think you will be disappointed in the way this one works.
I give this balm 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                      Advantages

                      Disadvantages

Softens hair well and good price.

When I was out shopping and spotted this shampoo on special offer I decided to give it a go. I have bought the shampoo before in the past and found I liked it so when on offer it was an offer not to miss since it was half the usual price and a bargain.

The shampoo comes inside a tall plastic bottle with the name very clearly on the front and which can be easily spotted on a shelf. At the top of the bottle it has a push down opener which is easy to press and then press back into position again after using the shampoo.

The shampoo flows well from the bottle and dispenses really well. It is a rich consistency and doesn't drip from the bottle while pouring it onto the hands. It has a soft texture and quite a creamy feel to it. It is white in colour and has a nice fragrance to it being a perfume scent which is a really nice one. It is a highly scented smell and quite a strong one. In my opinion this one is a little stronger scent than some other branded shampoos and it is one I like the smell of quite a lot.

It is designed for damaged or dry hair. I colour my hair so I need to use a shampoo which is going to give it some moisture to stop it from becoming dry and this shampoo works a treat for giving my hair the moisture it needs to keep it in a good condition. It claims to instantly lock in the moisture. I find with this one it does a very good job of locking in the moisture because I can actually get away with using a conditioner, although it is very rare I don't use a conditioner but I can at least use this shampoo if I don't want to use one on a day when I may like to just use a shampoo.

Used without a conditioner it does leave my hair in a good condition and fairly soft. My hair does have a slight shine to it but it isn't a glossy appearance that I am used to when I use a conditioner. But I would still say my hair is shiny enough for a day when maybe I am not going out for the day and I am not too worried if my hair has a nice glossy appearance. My hubby loves this shampoo for washing his hair and his hair does look quite nice considering he never uses a hair conditioner product on his hair.

I have washed my little grandchildren's hair with it and it has left their hair looking nice in appearance and super soft. So I would say this one is suitable for all the family to use and is a very good family shampoo.

It also contains vitamin E which helps restore vibrancy and softness to dry, damaged hair and targets the driest parts of the hair and helps to hydrate it to leave it in a super condition.

I find you only need to use a small amount to create a good lather on the hair and foam. The bubbles don't drip from the hair all the time I am washing it and sometimes I have left the foam on my hair until I have showered and then rinsed it away and it has happily sat on my hair all the time it takes me to have my shower. While washing the hair it does feel luxurious and as the name indicates luxurious is a name I would definitely describe this one as being because it does feel that way while washing the hair and is different to some other brands which claim to be luxurious. This one certainly does feel like a real treat while washing the hair. It also rinses well from the hair in no time at all.

After rinsing and towel drying my hair I can easily brush it without it tangling etc. I have long hair at the moment and find my brush is very easy to brush through my hair without it becoming all tangled.

When I have washed my hair without using a conditioner I have found it doesn't leave my hair all lanky or weighted down at all. Which is pleasing because I do find some other brands do sometimes leave my hair feeling heavy and lanky but this doesn't happen when I use this shampoo.

I can smell the fragrance on my hair after it has been dried and I can smell it later the same day I have washed my hair so I would say the fragrance definitely has staying power on the hair.

For a 500ml bottle I paid just £1.74 for it on special offer from Tesco and it was half the usual price so a good bargain. I think it is well worth the usual price in my opinion and even better value for money buying it for half price. It is a bargain price on offer in my opinion and not to be missed buying it if spotted on offer. The quality is really good too.

I love this shampoo and I will most certainly continue to buy it in the future because it is more than suitable for my long hair and one all of my family can use too.

I highly do recommend this one for anyone looking for a shampoo which soften the hair well and leaves it with a good shine to it. I don't think you will be disappointed with this shampoo.

I give this one 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

                        Nice fragrance and price.

I love the way a manufacturer names their products to attract our attention when we spot them on a shelf. This is the reason they do it for attraction and a clever way of marketing it. Good really to name one and give it a fragrance we would all like to give it a go. This is the reason I bought this hand wash because of the name of it because I wanted to see if it actually did smell of cola.

The wash comes in a transparent plastic bottle which has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on the shelf. It has a pump dispenser which is very easy to press to release the wash onto the hands.

The liquid is a rich consistency and doesn't drip from the bottle so it doesn't make a real mess on the surface it is sitting or running down the bottle. The liquid is a light beige colour and is quite a creamy liquid. It has a nice fragrance to it being a cola scent but it is a fairly sweet smelling scent like cola tends to be. I do think it smells of cola and it does smell like sniffing a bottle cola but it isn't quite as strong a cola scent as I thought it would be but still is apparent. I just think it is a sweet, sugary scent and with the added smell of cola. I guess I was maybe expecting it to smell just like cola but in my opinion it doesn't but I do like the smell. It is quite a strong smell but not too overpowering it is a sickly scent.

You don't need much of the liquid to wash the hands and a little does go a very long way. Just one or 2 pumps of the liquid onto the hands is well enough to create a nice creamy lather. It does feel luxurious and creamy while washing the hands and it removes dirt really well.

My hubby has dirty hands when he arrives home from work and he always washes his hands immediately he arrives home. This wash removes any dirt, oil or grease really well from his hands.

You can smell the fragrance on the hands while washing them and it does tend to linger for a good while after drying them. I would say maybe a hour or so after washing them I can smell the scent.

It claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria but who knows if this amount is actually killed we just have to place our trust in a product but Carex is a brand I trust so I would say it works well for killing as many germs as possible.

It has added moisturisers which help soften the skin. I have very dry skin and have found this liquid hasn't left them feeling any drier than normal. I also have sensitive skin and this one has been more than suitable for my sensitive skin and not caused any rashes or irritations on my skin.

It is very easy to rinse from the hands in no time at all.

For a 250ml bottle I paid just £1.50 for it and I do think it is worth this price and very good value for the money. I think it is affordable and worth the price because a little does go a long way and so the bottle will last a little longer than some other brands. The quality is good too.

I really like this hand wash, I like the smell of it and the way it cleans the hands. I will most certainly buy it again in the future because it gives me all of the results I expect from a branded wash. Is a nice family hand wash.

I give this hand wash 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                          Advantages

                          Disadvantages

                          Few drops work well.

Just before the Christmas holidays I had a bit of an irritating cough and one which was quite annoying and it did wake me up a couple of times during the night. One night after I had been coughing and kept my hubby awake I remembered what a nurse had told me a while ago to do to relieve a cough like mine happened to be, being a dry, tickly cough. She told me to inhale using a steamer and to place a few drops of this oil into the water and breathe in gently. So the next day I went out and bought some of this oil because I hadn't any in my medicine cabinet.

I happen to have one of those facial steamers which I use to steam my face sometimes. So I use it to inhale too.

This product comes inside a cardboard box and it is a small glass bottle. The name is very clearly on the front of the box and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. The bottle has a screw off top. It has a strong smell to it and the smell is really apparent as soon as the top is removed. In my opinion it has a smell of mainly eucalyptus and is a mixture or pure plant oils such as Clove oil, Mint oil, Juniperberry oil.and Eucalyptus oil. These oils together make for a strong smell but one which is a pleasant one.

The oil is an inhalant and to help clear painful sinuses and to relieve nasal congestion. I have used it as an inhalant lots of times by just dropping 1 or 2 drops in my facial steamer base which has the water on the bottom plate. This amount of drops is well enough to inhale comfortably and not be too strong a smell which is then uncomfortable. If you don't have a steamer a bowl of hot water and I would say add maybe 3 or 4 drops to a larger amount of water to give for a strong enough smell.

Like I said earlier I bought the last bottle because I had a nasty cough and a dry one. Inhaling the steam into my airways and inhaling it through my mouth too did help give moisture to my tubes which are dry from the central heating and when they contract when dry they cause me to cough continually. Inhaling with this oil just gives enough moisture for them to become more moist and so not contract etc. I did have to do this around 3 or 4 times during the day before I became a lot more comfortable and my cough eased. I did the same the next day and by the end of the second day my cough was almost gone completely.

It is good to use if you have a blocked nose and a bad cold. A few drops on a tissue works well to sniff to help you breathe a little easier. Sometimes I have poured a couple of drops onto an old pillowcase to help me sleep a little easier when I have had a bad cold. I wouldn't use the drops on a nice pillowcase because it may mark it and stain it. Just use an old one so that it won't matter if it stains it. It is an oil and it can be hard to remove from some fabrics so use it with care if you want to use some on a pillowcase.

It tells me on the box that it can be used for babies from the age of 3 months old to 2 years old by dropping one drop onto a tissue and holding it close to their nose so that it helps them breathe much better. For children over the age of 2 years old and for adults 2 to 3 drops can be used. I haven't used any of the drops for a child so I cannot comment how it performs for a young child. But for adults it works a treat.

For a 15ml bottle it cost around £3.20 and I think this is a good price for the work it does for relieving symptoms of a nasty cold and it works a treat for my tickly cough.

I highly do recommend this product to anyone who has a cold or a dry cough which is becoming a little troublesome and keeping you awake at night.

I give this oil 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                            Advantages

                            Disadvantages

Keep you dry and good price.

I am not loyal to any brand of deodorant and just chose which one takes my fancy while browsing the shelves. I hadn't bought this one before so thought I would give it a go since the Right Guard brand is a good one. This one stood out because of the name women's on the front of the can.

It comes in a can and has the name very clearly on the front and so can be easily spotted on a shelf. It has a removable lid. The nozzle is a good size at the top of the can and it can easily be pressed to release the spray onto the skin.

It has a really nice fine mist and isn't a heavy spray and it doesn't just squirt from the nozzle and drip all over the place so it lands onto the skin really well without making a mess..It has a nice fragrance to it too and has a floral scent and smells quite sweet. I like the sweet smell to it and a change from some other brands because this one is fairly sweeter than the others on the market but it is a pleasant sweetness with the floral fragrance added to it.

It also dries fairly quickly too so you can get dressed soon after using it. It also doesn't feel tacky or sticky on the skin and just feels really soft. I dislike it when a deodorant feels sticky and doesn't dry quickly and I have to wait a long time before I can get dressed. This one I don't have a problem getting dressed soon after spraying it under my arms.

In terms of keeping me dry, I think this one does a really good job of keeping me dry all day long after spraying in the morning after my morning shower. It claims to keep the skin dry for up to 72 hours, well I never would need it to work for that long anyway because I shower twice a day or have a bath in the evenings. But these are the claims. I don't find I need to top up during the day and the one spray in the morning does work well to keep me nice and dry. I guess if you tend to sweat a lot you may need to top up with this one because I don't think it may keep you dry enough if you have a sweat problem. But for a normal sweat I think the once is enough.

I do wear dark clothing and I haven't experienced any white marks on them after spraying. My clothing hasn't been marked at all from the spray, which is good to know I have the confidence I am not going to have those nasty white marks on my dark clothing and feel embarrassed.

I have sensitive skin and this one has been more than suitable and hasn't caused any rashes or irritations.
It has served me well and I quite like it and had no problems with it causing any itching because occasionally I find a product causes me to itch my skin but that hasn't happened using this one so all good.

For a 150ml can it cost £2.30 I think it is a good price considering it works well for keeping me day and I think it is good value for money. The quality is really good too.

In my opinion I think this is a gentle product and not harsh at all and I think it is more than suitable for anyone like myself who has sensitive skin.

I recommend it and I will buy it again in the future, it gives me all the results I expect from a branded product and I am happy with the results it gives for keeping my skin dry all day long.

                            I give it 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.

                              Advantages

                              Disadvantages

                              Nice fragrance, cheap to buy.

Last Easter I bought a candle burner because I wanted to try some Yankee candle tarts because I have read so many positive reviews on how nice they smell and because I have the Yankee plug in. I didn't know which tarts to buy because when I sniffed them I quite liked them all but I chose this fragranced tart as one of my first purchases because I do love the smell of Sweet pea flowers.

The tart is a circular tart shape with a ridge edge. Is blue in colour. Most people will already recognise them in shops or online. It has a plastic wrapper sealing the tart and just has the name clearly on the front. Once I removed the wrapper I could smell a strong smell of tart. Has a strong floral fragrance and has an added perfume smell too. Also has a fairly strong aroma before even lighting the tea light which is placed under the burner.

Once I lit the tea light, I watched it slowly melt the wax tart. Takes around 10 minutes or so to begin the process of melting the tart. After around 20 minutes or so the wax begins to melt faster and it releases a beautiful floral fragrance in the room. I placed the burner in my bedroom and kept checking on it to see how it was melting etc and how the fragrance appeared after a couple of hours or so. I closed the door and when I entered my bedroom after a hour I could most definitely detect the fragrance and how a beautiful aroma was in my room. It was however a stronger smell than I expected it to be and although I imagined it would be strong since I have read so many reviews on Yankee tarts, it was far stronger than I imagined and I was delighted I had bought this fragrance as my first one to try in my home.

It melts into a pool of a kind of oil. I waited until the tea light had fully burned and I didn't light another one that night because it was almost bedtime. The next morning I checked the tart and it has become solid again and just a circular shape inside the top of my burner. But it did still have a nice floral scent to it and quite a strong fragrance. I lit another tea light and left it to melt again.

From this little tart it produces around 8 hours burning time. I think this is a lot of hours considering the tart is really cheap to buy. I paid just £1 for the tart from a garden centre who stocked Yankee candles, tarts and tea lights etc. I think for the price of the tart and the fragrance it produces to help a room smell gorgeous I think it is an extremely good value for money purchase in my opinion and I am really pleased I bought this fragrance. I am really happy with the floral smell in my bedroom and it suits my mood because I do love floral fragrances and the smell of fresh flowers. This tart is like smelling a bunch of freshly cut flowers.

I was pleasantly surprised how strong the tart was after it had become solid again, I didn't imagine it would be such a strong smell but I was wrong. The solid tart isn't strong enough for my liking to just have placed on the burner without having not using a tea light but the fragrance is still apparent and pleasant when I sniff it. I imagine the fragrance would be far stronger the smaller a room is which it is being placed. My bedroom isn't particularly large but it is a fair size and not tiny. I am going to buy this one again in the future but the next time I am going to place it into one of my smaller rooms to see if it smells stronger. I didn't want to move the burner once I had lit it because the oil I think may have tipped from the burner and I didn't want to take a chance of it spilling onto my hands or onto the floor etc. As we all know we have to be very careful with wax candles because if they burn the skin, it can be dangerous and cause a nasty burn etc.

I highly do recommend this fragranced tart from Yankee candle and I am really pleased I gave this one a go as my first purchase and I have tried a few different fragrances since my first purchase and found I love the range.

Also on Ciao under my username pinky50.

I give this fragrance tart from Yankee 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
