Samsung's latest smartphones are fairly impressive, and the Galaxy S is one of them. This phone really is all about its screen. 4' corner to corner, with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and Super AMOLED technology. It makes the screen quite large but really great With dimensions of 122.4mm x 64.2 x 9.9 mm it's a a bit taller than many other smartphones and about the same wider. No problem it will still fit in your pocket! Nevertheless, it's a different story when it comes to build quality. The front is doing okay. Its single piece of glass should resist scratches well, as should the metallic rim around the edge. However, the back is finished in plastic that breaks easily. Tehre is no flash for the camera and the three buttons on the front. I am not a fan of these three touch sensitive buttons but it is my opinion. There are plenty of other positives to the Galaxy S design, though. The microUSB socket for charging and data transfer is hidden behind a sliding door. It has also a 3.5mm headphone jack Overall this smartphone is really great, with a really nice screen, but a poor build quality
The camera is amazing! Really easy to use, and understand. It has many, and even more features than I will require, but it does not overwhelm you! Activate the camera and you are ready to shoot. I really like that the camera is smart. Seriously, this camera picks up your surroundings. If it is too dark it will modify to twilight function, or perhaps there is a view of hills and fields, the camera will immediately swap to landscape mode. It feels great to no longer need to turn any buttons so that the scene focus can change. Apart from this, what taught me to buy this camera was how the panorama shot seemed. Looking at the feature before purchase really interested me. After I received the camera and used it, I was so impressed at the extreme wide capture my camera could make. Of course, if you sweep your hand to rapidly or unstable, you will probably just get a strange boxy picture. Nevertheless, take your time capturing, your hand and relax, and the picture will be great. Last but not least, I took video and the quality looked excellent on camera. I did not upload the video yet so I have no additional information as to how great of quality video actually is, but the photos all come out spectacular. You should buy this really inexpensive camera . Obviously, the deal of quality and cost is right here with this Sony.
I can point out that I am completely satisfied with the all round performance of this device. Truely does work flawlessly with more than one applications running with the standards 4Go of RAM and the Push 2 TV provided with the Netgear device has recently been very useful in my studying efforts. I have my RV511 for nearly a year and it has never let me down. I have used this on a trip for work and study. It is a great device that is a workhorse along with a few extras for light gaming. The battery is with it going at it's limit is an hour, two tops. And the reaction time of the function key to raise a volume or dim/brighten the device is slow. Screen and keyboard are great. The entire family enjoys using it. On the whole, I am really satisfied with my purchase, particularly at great price.
