I had purchased this ipod a few years back when I read a few reviews about it being good for sport related activities and that proved to be true. It has a very streamline design, small and thin and the best part about it is that it doesn't break very easily. Having dropped mine a few times on accident, it hasn't broken or had anything wrong it (this still blows my mind to this day, it's so tiny and it's a tough little bugger).
On top of the ipod being small and stylish, it comes in all your favourite colours! This isn't very important to some, but to others it becomes the deciding factor for purchase. I have only owned the silver one (which I do prefer), but I have seen lots of other people with different colours and they all look great.
Probably the main reason people consider buying this type of ipod is because of how useful it is for physical activities (such as running) and in conjunction with the small size and nifty clip it has, it makes it as easy as ever to listen to music while you exercise.
It plays your music like any other ipod, which is exactly what it is designed to do. The sound comes out clearly and 2gb of storage space seems like enough, especially if you only use it for sport.
It's really neat, has good design, durability and does its job perfectly, which is what makes it so awesome. For anyone who wants to listen to music while exercising , I would recommend this ipod.
I've bought two pairs of these before and being the avid music listener that I am, I use them often and I am pretty happy with both pairs that I have used.
A big plus for these is that they are cheap and durable, I've bought two pairs and both have been being used for about a year and still work. On top of the great price and durability, they are comfortable! That is a rare and very awesome combo. Most of the comfort comes from the fact that there are three different earbud sizes, so you have the choice to make them the size that you want.
The sound is pretty decent for earbuds too, obviously they don't sound amazing, but that is to be expected for the price and the fact that they are earphones.
There is one fault that kind of annoyed me about them though, most earphones have that adjustable slider, which when moved changes where the cable splits (can make it shorter so it isn't all dangly), these don't have that and it can be a little frustrating at times.
The earphones are good, worth the price, the colour choice is neat too. I am probably gonna buy another pair of these if I can't find ones that I like better.
Like alot of people here I got them as a part of a package from Orange.
I have had a couple of issues with them since I received them. The first problem was that they are very fragile, I've dropped them maybe three times in total (this being on soft surfaces too) and the plastic bit on the side has cracked.
The second thing nergative about these headphones is that they don't get any points for comfort. Wearing them for prolonged peroids of time can cause pain to the external part of my ears. It is to be mentioned that they are ok if you wear them for short amounts of time, but if you are an avid music listener, prepare for some slight pain/discomfort for your ears.
Ok now that I have got the negatives out of the way, I can list the good things about them. They look good! This might not seem important, but alot of people wear them out in public and I will admit they do look very good when worn.
A big positive for them is that they sound good (especially for their cheap price). The sound comes out clear and can accurately play all the sounds coming out in complex songs w ithout lowering in sound quality.
Another two small positives is that they are light and compatible with alot of things (just plug in and use), which doesn't seem like much, but you would be surprised how many headphones cannot do this.
All in all the headphones aren't bad, but I am heavily turned away from buying a new pair because of the few faults they have.
I wouldn't say I am an expert on sound quality, but I definately know what sounds good and what doesn't. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that these sound bad, they sound great! It's just that they really should sound amazing for the price.
For earbuds the sound is good, they look slick and they are comfortable when you put them in your ears. But then again they are earbuds, their sound quality and comfort will never compare to that of high quality headphones.
If you have the money, go for it, they sound pretty good and give you some extra swag points. But if you're someone who is wanting the best sound quality possible, you'd probably better off looking up some other brands (and probably some head phones).
If you do decide to buy them for their sound quality ONLY, don't be dissapointed when you receive them (like I was).
