Dr. feelgood by benefit comes in a round metal tin containing 24g of its product. the tin is robust, i've had it in my handbag plenty of times and it has no dents in it. The lid come of easily, but it will not come of unless you mean it to which is a good thing if you keep it in bags. The tin also contains a sponge, I think it used to be the size of the tin but mine has stretched after using it so often, it is now bigger than the tin but still fits. Ive had my product for just over a year now and I have hit pan but there is still plenty of product left.
Benefit says : ' This invisible refiner, blended with vitamin C helps to smooth away the appearance of fine lines while leaving skin feeling and looking more silky, flawless and matte to the touch. It's a colourless, weightless miracle worker.'
I am very happy that it contains Vitamin C. At the start I did not like this product as I had dryish skin and i felt like this product made my skin flake. I stopped using this product until my skin got better. Once it was better i thought i'd give it another go and I have loved it ever since.
It smells very lightly of lemons, but i would not say that it smells citrusy I apply it with the sponge provided and if i want to 'fill' specific lines ill use my finger to pic up some product and dab it into the lines. If i use this as a primer i swipe the sponge across my face and if I use it after my makeup i dab it on. If used as a primer it evens out my face and it feels silky and my makeup stays on all day!! If i us it ontop it gives me a wonderful matt finish, but careful you might get makeup on your sponge. I never have to do touch ups on my makeup when i wear this. It make me look picture perfect!!
The price is 21 pounds.
I love this product and I use it about 5 days a week and it last around 1 1/2 years. I would bye this product again even though it was expensive, just because i know it will last me a very long time.
I have fallen in love with this product. I normally use the good old vaseline which everyone has used but about a year ago i got introduced to the body shop and have since tried many products from there. This product stands out for me.
the price for my is the biggest downside to the product so I am getting it out of the way so I can focus on the good stuff!! It costs 4 pounds!! I would have never bought this product for 4 pounds if I had not tried the product before hand. I got my first pot as a christmas present and was over the moon about it because i always wanted it... but being a student i could not bring my self to spend my money on this. I have only bought one other pot.... the cherry one and will not buy another one until they run out only due to the price.
If you like the texture of body butter, you will really like this lip butter. I am a body butter junkie because i love the thickness and the texture of the butters. The lip butter feels similar in the way that it is thick and melts a bit to your body heat, it is however a bit harder than body butter. It doesn't not move around the tin.
The tin is very small so it can be awkward to get some of the product on your finger if you have long nails... it might get trapped underneath. If you have short ones it is not a problem at all. Just rub your finger in the put and the lip butter is on you finger.
Once on the lips it feels and smells amazing. The smell reminds me a bit of chocolate... not sure why but i really like the smell. You have to rub the lip butte in well as the product is white and can leave you lips some what white. If blended in its fine. It feels very rich on the lips and make them sooo smooth and calms them down if chapped. It doesn't taste bad at all just very creamy. It lasts forever but i like to reapply often because i love you smell. It also sinks in very nicely.
I really like the thick texture of the product and I think you can feel it sink into your skin. If this product was not as pricey as it is I would try more flavors. Up to now i have just bought one other on sale!
Vaseline Lip Therapy comes in a small round metal tin. It is white and blue and the lip is very easy to open, no unscrewing is needed and the lid does not accidentally come off. I have been using Vaseline for years now i've had it in my hand bag, suit case pretty much anywhere and it has never open when i have not wanted it to.
The Tin contains 20g and although it might not sound like much it does last forever. My current tin i've had for about three months and I have only used about half of the product. The application of the petroleum jelly is very simple, rub your clean finger in it a few times and you will have enough product to cover you whole lips. My finger feels greasy and is shiny after this so I rub it onto the back of my hand as it softens dry hands to not only lips.
Once on the lips I find that it feels greasy, however this feeling disappears very quickly. After that they feel smooth and glide along each other effortlessly. It has no flavor, but I still do not like to get it on my tongue, its sort of slimy.
Overall I like this product, it is handy and it s one of the few lip balms of mine my boyfriend doesn't mind using when his lips are chapped. The greasiness is the only down side too it. I also wish it came in a really same tin, i know no balms do but it would be nice just to have for a night out.
I would buy this product again.
