Useful is a good rate!!!

If I give you a useful it means I found your review useful, but either something was missing or I had to wade through far too much useless padding. While I do want to know why you bought the product, the majority of a review should be opinion.

Please don't tell me everything that happens in a book or film, let me discover that for myself. Any plot spoilers will mean me rating down, and tell me the ending and I'll be giving a NU. I like to watch special features on DVDs, so I want to know if you thought these were any good, if you don't tell me then I just won't find your review as helpful. I know there's no-where to put film-only reviews these days, but simply adding film-only to the title or at the start of the review will let me know that you are just reviewing the film.

With phone reviews I want to know how well it works as an actual phone, you know, calling, texting, battery life. If you don't tell me about these points then your review just isn't as useful to me.

Lists of ingredients aren't useful to me, I want to know what things taste like, smell like etc.

I don't comment unless I've really got something to say. If you want to know why I've rated you as I have then send me a personal message.
