Me and my partner had been looking at coffee makers for ages but never buying lol ... but in the end we decided to invest in one :) . My partner asked around and his sister recommended that we brought this one as its the one that she uses and she said it was brillant .
If im honest looks wise its not the prettiest of coffee machines out there however the its black matt finishes does give it a rather stylish look and smart apeal to it, surrounding the base is a shiny metal which adds to its smart look. The good thing about the machine is that doesnt take up too much space it is about 12" tall and 10" by 8" when measured by the base.
The coffee machine was really easy to use considering id never used one before . All you have to do to make a coffee fill the detachable water tank with approxiametly 750mls of water then place it back in the coffee machine . Then lift the top of the machine place your chosen pod into the pod holder and then simply wait for about 30 seconds for the water to heat up and then push the button and dah dah coffee is made lol. There are many different pod flavours avaliable:-
-Mild, Medium and Dark roast
There are only two downsides to the coffee machine one is thats its a bit hard to clean however, all parts can be cleaned ie the pod holders, spout, drip tray either by hand or in a dishwasher (all dishwasher safe). The second and last downside is that the pods for the coffee machine are rather expensive costing around £2.50 for around 15 pods in Asda which is equal to around 15 coffees .. i think a kettle and jar of coffee works out cheaper lol.
I managed to pick up this senso coffee machine for £45 from argos .. however the price does tend to go up and down regularly so please do check the price before buying. I would say if you want a quick and easy way of getting a cup of coffee then this is definitly good value for money :) so yes i would recommend it.
When my washing machine suddenly broke i needed to invest in a new one . I didnt have a alot of money so needed something cheap but also good working too. Ive been using my new washing machine for a good few months now and have been able to test it out for all that time so i think its finally time for a review.
When i was looking into what washing machine to buy to replace mine ... i just couldnt get over how many there were lol made it very hard to choose one . But in the end i finally decided to go for Beko WM5100W as the review i had read were good and the price was only £189.99 from argos it was good value for money.
The washing machine measures 60cm in width, 85cm in height and 48cm in depth. It can also handle a maximum load weight of 5kgs. It's a white appliance, rated A for energy efficiency and can handle a maximum load weight of 5kg's. The Beko WM5100 is really easy to use so perfect for those first tme buyers. In the middle of the top pannel is an on/off button, a single programme dial, detergent draw and four illuminating buttons which nicely shows what stage your washing is at (very useful). The thing that stood out to me about this washing machine is how many different options it had to choose from with the simple turning of a dial you can seletect one of 16 diverse programme options. Some examples are of these options are:-
-controlled cotton washes.
-wool mix cycles.
-30 minute quick wash.
-Hand wash cycle.
-Independent Spin Cycle.
-rinse hold option.
and many more :)
I found the Beko WM5100 reallyeasy to use, Like with any washing machine firstly you put your washing into the machine .. then add the detergent and fabric softener. After that you simply select one of the 16 diverse options by turning the dial and pushing the on button. Unlike alot of other washing machines ive used in the past this one was suprisingly quiet when in ue machine is quiet and has
The Beko WM5100w is easy to use and like i said before perfect for those first time buyers. Like with all washing machines to use this one you simple just place your washing inside the washing machine, add the detergent and fabric softener ... select one of the 16 diverse options and then push on. Unlike other washing machines that ive tried in the past the Beko WM5100w is really quiet and with its energy efficiency class being A+ you cant go wrong. One downside people might say about this washing machine is that its spin speed is only 1000 rpm however i find this to be more than enough to dry my clothes more than efficiently and if not theres alway the option to put it on an extra spin. powerful enough to remove a lot of the excess If you have children that are into everything lol then your gonna love the child lock feature which stops the washing machine being opened whilst on a cycle.. which trust me from experiences is needed lol.
Overall i would definitly recommend this washing machine . Its perfect for anyone to have in there home especially those first time buyers. Its easy to use and doesnt look like some kind of science experiement with tons of buttons and dials like some washing machines. And at such a good price of £189.99 from argos its considerably very good value for money. I honestly cant think of anything bad to say about this product so therefore i wont :) x
This is the perfect conditioner for those bad hair break-ups. It will help condition and restore your hair .. as it did mine :) . I will never look back or buy anything else now after using this.
It conditioner both in a very rare sort of light blue bottle. The design is very simple but yet very pretty with a picture of mangos and pearls printed on the front of the bottle. The lid is a easy to use push down lid and is coloured unlike the bottle a bright green. The way the shampoo and conditioner are dispensed from the bottle with a simple squeezing motion makes it very easy for you to control just how much you want to get out. On the back of the bottle are some well printed and visible instructions for how to use the conditioner. It says "Put a small blob onto your hair and massage in, working from root to tip, paying particular attention to the roots". Once done if you rinse it out completely your hair will feel so soft and renewed yourll be happily suprised.
When the conditioner are dispensed you can see that it is a light blue/ light purple colour very much similar to that of the colour of the bottle itself. It doesnt come out too which makes it really easy to apply to your hair .
The main thing i love about this conditioner is the smell of jasmine you get as you open the bottle and apply it to your hair its just gorgeous. I also love how it leaves my hair feeling soft and renewed no matter how often i use it which atm is daily.
The price is fairly reasonable considering what the result you get from using it . You can get 200ml bottle for £1 atm in asda and a 400ml for £2.50 atm in asda as all herbal essences are on offer not sure what the normal prices are .
This is the perfect must have fix for any dry and dull hair . I have tried lots of the herbal essence range in the past and this is by far the best one ive come across. It rescued my hair and i hope it will yours too :) so yes i would definitly recommend this x
I have never really had to straighten my hair before as i tend to have mostly straight hair alot of the time . However i recently decided to follow the trend and see what all the fuss was about and purchase some. I knew i didnt want to spend alot of money because i didnt think id be using them an awful lot but at the same time i didnt want a cheap pair that could ruin my hair in the long wrong which is why when i came across these it was just the thing i was looking for. £ 45 from amazon.
Upon recieving these straighteners and upon first looks i was happy with the decision i had made. The straightner came in a overly large boxed and was was packaged and stored securely inside so not to break. On the front of the box was a picture of the hair straighteners i had purchased along with the name and model of them. Once i opened the box neatly tucked inside were my hair straighteners. They were tiderly packed in a bronze coloured pouch which suprisingly enough if you unbuttoned became aseparate heat proof mat (HANDY HEY!!).
The hair straighteners themself had a great but simple looking design. They looked very sophisticated with a black and pearl colouring to them. There incredibly light to hold too so i didnt get any arm ache whilst using them. On the front of the hair straightners is an electronic display screen which turns blue when the straightners are on and in use ... which stands out nicely.
The hair straighteners pretty much as soon as you turn them on heat up very quickly which is fab for any of those get up and go people out there. . The hair straightners have many temperature the minimum setting is 150 degrees C and the maximum setting is 235 degrees C . Once used the straightners take about 15 or so mins to cool down . The hair straightners stood out to me because of a handy little feature i noticed which most other hair straightners didnt seem to have, which was a good the plate lock. The plate lock is a catch you can push in to lock the hair straightners plates closer together almost in closed position rather than being open which is always handy. The cord for the straightners is rather long which was a bonus as it means i dont have to sit right next to where there plugged in to beable to use them .
When i first used these straightners i loved just how easy they were to use. They took no time at all to heat up and made my hair very straight in minutes. I was worried having never really used hair straightners before that they would destroy the condition of my hair but they gave my hair a really healthy looking shine after each use and i find myself using them alot more. I am so pleased with these straightners doesnt matter what the weather is like or what im doing once ive straightned my hair it stays straight no matter what i do :).
Before going for a more expensive brand of hair straightners i would definitly recommend trying these .. as i love them :) and think there just as good even if they are a fair bit cheaper dont let that put you off .. cause trust me you wont be disappointed .
I dont normally review things like this but having recently used this whilst staying at my partners sisters house .. ive now had to go and buy some and therefore feel it is well deserving of a review.
Based on first looks without having tired it i thought the packaging for this product was perfect. simple but pretty. I purchased a 500ml bottle of the stuff which easily i think is gonna last me a good few months. The bottle is see thru which makes it easy to see how much you have left so you can easily go and buy some more before you run out. The bottle is a cylinder shape and looks pink, pretty and fun .The Front of the bottle is beautifully decorated with a pretty pink logo and a old fashioned style photo of a lady in black and white. I think the lady is ment to represent all women in general lol. The bottle has a easy to use pump dispenser which can be easily used to dispense small amounts of the liquid without any problems.
Once the liquid is dispensed it comes out in a sort of gel form. The gel is lovely coloured with pale pick with goes well with the overall colour theme of the product. It has the same consitiency as a shower gel and a lovely shine to it. You only need a small amount to get enough lathered to cover all the areas of your body that you need to cover. I found 2 pumps of the liquid is more than enough to get good coverage.
When dispensed and lathered the smell of soap and glory like most soap and glory products is has a rather fruity tinge to it . Considering what you pay for a bottle of it at only £5.50 ... it smells more expensive than alot of similar more expensive products i have used in the past .
The thing i love about Soap and Glory most compared to products ive used in the past it how it makes my skin feel after using it each time. They say that the product is ment to combine combine moisturising with cleansing and they are right in that it does do exactly that. My skin always feels so refreshed and clean after each use and its incredibly easy to wash off.
I love using this shower gel each time i have a shower. I always feel clean and refreshed after each use. Unlike alot of other shower gels it also has a really girly feel to it. I would definitly recommend this product to all women out there :)
I recently brought this radio for my little girl as a treat :). Shes really into winnie the pooh atm so when i came across this i couldnt resist especially at only a small cost of £5.00.
Upon seeing the radio my little girl instantly fell in love with it. The radio is very appealing to the childs eye and is the perfect size for my little girl with measurements of 7.6 x 22.9 x 27.2 cm. The radio has a very features a handle based on tiggers tail which looks amazing and also which makes it easy for my little girl to carry around with her . On the back of the radio is a easy to use on/off however they is no volume option which can be a downside at times lol. However i wouldnt say its overly loud for a musical toy.
The Front of the radio is nicely decorated with the features of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore faces. The colours are stick to that of the characters as does the overall design. The design and little special features are what make this product so special. You can tell theyve taken alot of time to pay attention to detail with this product to make it seem as life like to a real radio as possible. For example underneath the heads of the winnie the pooh characters faces is the small speaker at the center which is surrounded by musical notes and also features two dials either side, however this is only extra details on the product for decoration and dont actually work. Instead theyve made it very easy for a child of young age to work the radio by simply making it so all the child has to do to make the radio play sounds and music is lightly push the noses of each individual character .. a very cute little feature.
Each individual character makes 3 different sounds when their noses are pushed which stick very mushc to the character theme. Examples of this are that firstly when Tiggers nose is pressed he either does 1 of 3 things he asks for something with a 'bouncy beat' and then starts playing a short five second tune which actually does not have any 'bounce' to it or plays a short piece of music and tigger says 'Tiggeriffic' and the third actually features all three of the characters singing a tune together, each in their specific voices.
Secondly when Winnie the poohs nose is pushed he does one of three things. Firstly he asks if you want to listen to some more and then plays a loud ten second tune or he plays more of a 'swinging' beat as winne the pooh describes it or last but not least the last is winne the pooh plays a different tune with his voice featured at the end.
Last but not least is Eeyore's face. His three options are that he says that he is feeling 'blue today' and then plays a short piece of Blues music or he plays a different piece of music or the third is option is a repeat of the three characters singing their song.
The radio takes AA batteries which seem to last a very long while especially considering how much my little girl uses her. Plus in spite of her throwing it on numerous times and dragging it around as little kids do it seems to have survived lol.
Overall i would highly recommend this toy :)
My recently brought my little girl one of these .. having had one for her little girl when she was a baby. Being at an age now where shes just starting to learn new things every day and discover new things this toy was perfect for her. I was a bit worried at first that she may not like it but i was so wrong lol. Lamaze definitly have a thankyou from me and my little girl for making this wonderful toy.
The first thing that attracted me to this toy as a first time worrying parent was just how soft and child friendly it was. The octotunes is so soft and is made up of so many bright colours which are brilliant for the childs eyes. Octotunes always has also been given a wonderful smell of vanilla scent.. which was not too overpowering but just strong enough for my little girl to notice as shes always smelling it and snuggling her nose into it .
The simple but clever design of the ocotunes is what makes it so unique. Obviously being a octotunes The design is based on a octopus. . The octounes is made up of tons of bright eye catching colours to attract the child or baby. It has eight bright coloured muscial tenactles and each brightly coloured tenactle plays a different musical note which keeps the child or baby entertained for hours. My little girl is also teething at the moment and the tenactles make for awesome teething toys .
There are only two downsides to the octotunes. First one being that because it is a big soft toy it, it is actually suprisingly heavy for what youd expect of a childs toy well babys toy. The second downside is the price of the soft toy .. compared to some other toys it isn't that cheap i purchased mine for £20 from argos. But to be honest seeing my little girls face light up with a huge smile everytime she plays with it ... makes it worth every penny..
Overall I do think this is one of Lamazes best toys that they have created. Inspite of some of its floors and the price, i do not regret buying it and would definitly recommend it for any parent or parent to be :) as im sure there child will love it just as much as mine does. Thumbs up from me and my little girl Lamaze.
This is the second car seat I've purchased for my baby since having her. My friend recommended that I go to Halfords as she had previously brought a car seat from there and was very happy with her purchase and the customer service she received. The man I spoke to and dealt with in Halfords that helped me chose this one said that it was a group 1 Car seat which meant it was for suitable for baby's from 9 months up until the age of 4 which was perfect for what I needed, I was and still am 100% happy with my purchase and would recommend it to any mums out there, that may be stuck for choice.
The guy, who dealt with us in Halfords, showed us two car seats he thought would be ideal for what we needed. He showed us two versions of the priori car seat one was the XP and the other was the SPS. We already knew before visiting Halfords via word of mouth that they were notorious for doing excellent car seat fittings, so when the bloke offered to try them out in our car for us, I was more than happy to let him. Upon testing them both out in our car (A Vauxhall Vectra) we found that it was only the XP that would fit in our car. This didn't bother us too much though as the only difference between the two car seats was that the SPS car seat had side protection which we were happy to go without but I suppose it all comes down to personal preference ( as some may want it).
Once we knew which one fitted the guy from Halfords then went on to give us a guided demonstration of how to fit it ourselves. The first thing he said to do upon fitting the car seat was to pull the seat into full reclining position. He showed us how to do this simply using a lever that is placed under the seat. Once the seat has then been put into the full recline position you the lever, there is then a small grey lever at the bottom which says 'push' below it. You push this in and the seatbelt clamp draws backwards. You then slide the cars seatbelt between the seat unit and the back frame of the car seat. You can then clamp it in place by sliding back that lever and using one of the red clips to clasp the upper part of the belt in place. If you then find you wish to adjust the straps on the car seat then this is just as easy if not easier than fitting the car seat lol. In the middle of the seat unit you'll find a tensioner, you simply push this in and tug gently on the straps. Depending on how tightly you want it you can just keep tugging lightly on the excess strap until you get the tightness you want, however the guy did advise that its best to make sure you leave no more than finger room under the straps as this could enable the child to be able to free themselves from the car seat. You can also adjust the height of the harness straps to suit your child's needs, simply by lifting the Velcro panel and following the belt through the guide to the next level up.
Whilst receiving the demonstration, I straight away loved the design of the car seat it comes in a variety of different colours such as red, blacks, greys and many more. The seat is really padded and looks sleek and sporty. The car seat itself has a 4 position recline however my little-in looks the most comfortable when it's placed in the fully laid back position :) which is around a 45 degree angle. The car seat also has a five point safety harness, which is well padded over the shoulders which adds to my little-ins comfort. One of the best features about the car seat which I found was that the seat cover can be easily removed and washed which is definitely needed with a messy child like mine lol.
The one negative thing I will say however about this car seat is that I did find it to be a little on the heavy side as it weighs 9kg, so a lot of the time i found I had to get my partner to take it in and out of the car when we needed too. However the weight of the car seat is simply a reflection the solid construction of the car seat.
Overall this is a quality item, and I have personally found it to be excellent. It is a little on the expensive side priced at £119 from Halfords. But it is definitely worth while and my little-in loves it. Since purchasing it I have recommended this car seat to a lot of my friends who have kids and those who have also purchased it, have also been entirely happy with it :). So I would definitely recommend it.
The time had come, I had finally decided to take the big step in technology and invest in a smart phone. Everyone else seemed to have one these days, and I had only heard good things about them, like how useful they are, easy to use and so on. However being a newbie to the Smartphone industry I probably should have realised that those comments were only relevant to certain makes of Smartphone's, and this phone was definitely not one of them. If only I'd known then I would have saved myself a lot of time and money.
Based on the first looks of the phone I was impressed with it .The phone overall design of the phone itself is quiet compact and light. It measures 112 mm in length and 59 mm in width. The large colour touch screen now tilts up allowing it to be used as a mini laptop. However I have found that the phone light on the screen goes out within seconds of pausing from typing a text or dialing a number for a phone call which can get rather annoying .The phone also has a very funky slide-out keypad which is incredibly easy to use. To navigate your way around the phones menus there is a 5- way directional pad and a press able non- rotary scroll wheel.
The phone came with a variety of different features which I was initially really pleased with. One of the phone features is an okayish camera which is 3.1 mega pixels and 1x optical zoom, it also has auto focus. I found it's great for day pictures or pictures in light places, but rubbish for pictures at night or in the dark as it doesn't have a flash. The phone came with built in GPS and windows Mobile 6 already on it. Window mobiles 6 has a variety of applications which enabled me to be able to chat to my friends via Messenger, check my emails, as well as being able to listen to music.
I had this phone for what must have been little over a month, and had to get rid. I seemed to spend half my life when I brought this phone in the Vodafone shop complaining about it until they either agreed to fix it and or change neither of which seems to have fixed the problems with the phone so in the end I just gave up with it. I personally would not recommend this phone to anyone, as all I had when I owned it was constant problems such as when I make phone calls to people its decides in mid conversation to make my voice go really quiet so the person on the other end can barely hear me.. Wonderful I know lol. Also the phone tended to cut out a lot which I think could have had a lot to do with the fact the phones batteries life seemed to get drained incredibly quickly, especially compared to any other phone I'd used before.
When me and my boyfriend decided to take the big step and move in together, I knew one of the first things I wanted to invest in for our new house was a new TV. After visiting curry's and then comet we finally decided to purchase this one. It was everything we had said we wanted previous to looking and at only £159 we felt it was a bargain.
Upon first appearances we instantly found ourselves drawn to its slim and stylish look and its lovely black sleek finish. The television was such a good size measuring 22" which was the perfect size to mount on our wall and because it was so light weighing a little over 5kgs there was no fear of it falling off due to it being too heavy which from past experiences I knew could happen lol.
The TV comes with a small silver remote control which is very easy to use and makes setting it up really easy. The remote control does however need 2 x AAA batteries which aren't provided. Once we had purchased some batteries thou we found installing the TV and using it was incredibly simple and it soon became clear that how it looked wasn't the only good thing about it.
The LCD TV itself came with so many great features. Such as built in freeview which came in very useful when the digital switch over took place on everyone's TV. It was also nice to not need an extra freeview box or to have any under needed wires making the place look messy. The LCD TVs picture quality is top notch. The picture images are so sharp, strong, and bold, perfect for watching freeview, dvds or even playing your ps3 on. However the sound quality is the only slight disappointment I found with this TV, as whilst it is fine when watching TV my boyfriend found that when playing on his games console the sound is really echoey and fuzzy which sucks as it's a really good TV except for this little floor.
Overall it is a very good TV. However if you do intend to use it for playing your ps3 or Xbox 360 on or any other games console I would suggest going for a different one as the sound is a bit of a letdown and can ruin game play. But for the price I paid of £159 I can't complain really and I guess you get what you pay for.
When Samsung first brought this phone out in the market, I immediately knew I had to have it. It was the first cost-effective touch screen mobile phone they had brought out retailing at only £130. However this price has since lowered and you can now pick it up for around £70 on Amazon.
Initially the overall design was what first attracted me. The phone has a very simple design in Glossy Black but I was also offered it in a range of other colours to such as pink and white. There are three buttons at the bottom of the phones screen which are silver that control the calls, the back button and the menu. The phone is very light and compact With a weight of only 92 grams and the dimensions of 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm, it makes it the perfect hand held phone.
The phone has a huge range of touch-friendly practice facilities including a 3.2 MP camera with 2x digital zoom. The camera works best in daylight as I noticed during the night, the photos tended to come out very dark despite activating night mode. The phone also features a built in mp3 player and FM radio both of which are played out of a loudspeaker which is positioned on the front of the phone and produces the sound in great quality. You are able to control the volume for the music by a switch on the side of the phone. However the mobile phone does only come with 100 MB of memory which isn't exactly a huge amount for those pictures and music. However this can be easily solved as the 100MB is internal memory so you can improve it by buying a microSD card for the phone, I found an 8GB one was more than enough.
One thing the phone does lack is 3G which isn't a huge surprise given the phones low price. The phone does however have Wi-Fi and GPS which means it's still capable of going on the net and the large 3inch screen which helps make web pages very easy to view. The phones Battery life is a lot better than most other mobiles I have previously owned in the past. I found with normal every day to day usage the better lasts around 3-4 days before it needs recharging.
Overall I would say that this phone is a very good all rounder. However I do think the newer lower price is better suited to the phone because of its quality and features but it is still a very good budget phone :). I would recommend it yes.
I was very surprised and impressed by just how versatile this DVD player was. It's so well made and was just what I needed at a very fair price of £35 of Amazon.
At first glance I loved the look of it; it was so slim and stylish in its lovely black design. The fact it's such a sleek design meant that it doesn't take up to much room either as it only has a of Height 4.2 cm, Width of 36cm and a Depth of 20.7 cm and weighs a very light 1.26kgs. However don't let this make you think it's going to be flimsy or cheap because in spite of its size it still does a very good job for a DVD player of its price.
It's incredibly easy to install and operate. The fact it has Dolby digital surround sound ensures that your films are more gripping and enjoyable than ever and the Picture quality is amazing for such a low cost DVD player. Whilst in use there is absolutely no noise at all which I was really happy with, as a lot of DVD players have can have an annoying humming sound from the DVD spinning around inside whilst your trying to relax and enjoy watching a film.
DVD player has many great features such as Picture Zoom, Parental lock, progressive scanning and JPEG photo playback. The Draw to the DVD player opens smoothly without any problems. The only slight negative is that the remote is a bit on the small side however I will mention that there weren't any batteries supplied with the remote when I received it so I would advise anyone who purchases it to by these separately beforehand.
One of the favourite things about this Samsung DVD Player is that it's capable of playing films and music through its USB if you have a flash drive. As well as being able to play any cd rips or videos in jpeg, MP3 or DivX formats just by simply plugging your data stick into the USB port.
Would 100% recommend it especially as a great beginners DVD player.
However much I may have loved the look of this camera and how light and compact it was, the camera itself just didn't match up. I decided to purchase this camera after my last one broke, i had spent ages reading reviews when i came across this one. The first thing i loved was the colour and then after reading some good reviews and seeing that it was in price range at only £79 from woolworths I thought it was a gonna be a bargin. However now i wish i'd spent a bit more on a better camera.
On first appearances the camera looks like it only has one screen. So I was definitly shocked in a good way when I relised it had dual screens. The front screen however is only visable when its turned on and when its off you barely notice it's even there. To turn on the front display theres a certain button you press on the top of the camera unit which turns it on after a couple of seconds. The front screen isn't very big its about 1.5 inches across. But what the front screen lacks in size the back screen makes up for as its much larger. The back screen is 2.7-inch.
The camera has a 14.2-megapixel image sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens with a good wide angle. This i found came in very handy when i was trying to take self potraits as it ment i was able to fit in more in the frame.. The 14.2mps camera's picture quality is only what i can say is expected for a camera of its price. It works well when using it outside, if its in good light and the colours comes out really well in the pictures however I did notice that some of the stronger tones came across as slightly too vibrant sometimes.
The camera's features such as the interior and low-light performance i found wasn't as good as some other cameras and I did find that I had to resort to using the built in flash alot of the time. One of the features i was most looking forward to about this camera was being able to record videos . Which you can record but at 720p the quality isn't of them isnt very good.
This camera isn't as intrutive as my previous camera either. Which became really obvious when i began to play around with the zoom control which consists of an odd lever that you have to press up and down. Thankfully the rest of the buttons such as the menu are alot more modern and up to date than this but the camera's menu screens are annoying to plough through and extremely complicated to get to grips with. Depending on which mode you're shooting in, you can end up with numerous icons appearing on your screen that you have to spend days trying to get rid of and have no idea what there for or how they got there. This ends up leaving your screen very cluttered and can make it hard when trying to take pictures.
Another annoying downside I found about this camera was that, the camera only takes a microSD or microSDHC memory card. So I found normal SD cards wont fit the camera , which i wish i'd known before purchasing it. Luckily however I easily solved this as you can buy a really good quality 8GB card for it from pc world, which holds around 1500 pictures and up to 25mins of video.
overall I wouldnt recommend this camera .. yeah its looks nice and is small, but thats about it. I would definitly tell anyone to spend a little extra and get a better camera, as wish I had now .
I have always been very up to date when it comes to trying out the latest health and beauty products. Im always trying out new brands and picking up free samples when there offered. To be honest thats how I ended up trying this. I went into my local boots store as I needed some more of my clinque make up and cleansers, which I have been using for years and have always sworn by. However when I went in the clinque lady wasnt at her counter and as i was waiting I was approached by a lovely lady who started chatting to me and introduced me to this product (Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque).
On first appearances I liked the look and design of the packaging it was nice and simple :) with a lid that clicks open and shut. It came in a 75ml tube which was alot bigger than some of the similar type products i'd tried in the past.
The masque itself is a very light caramel colour. The texture of the cream is quiet thick and heavy which means you only need a tiny amount when dispensing it to get a good, even coverage so the 75ml tube does go a long way. The masque always leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and so soft and supple and gives off a lovelyfruity scent. Once applied the mask stays on so well and unlike others I am able to walk around and do things I need to, rather than just stayin still out of fear of it not setting or falling off.
There are really easy directions for use on the back of the tube which say to apply the masque to the face and throat and then leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Once applied the mask feels really light even thou its quiet thick and stays on so well and unlike others I have previously tried, I am able to walk around and do things I need to, rather than just stayin still out of fear of it not setting or falling off. After the 10-15 mins of having it on you can then rinse it off with warm water, this in fact is one of my main loves about it, as its so easy to rinse it off. At the moment I use the mask about twice a week and i find this is more than enough because of all the vitamins inside it.
I instantly noticed the difference from the first time I used this product. The my pores on my face were noticeably smaller, and my skin was alot less oily than before. People kept commenting on how much brighter my skin looked and how i had a natural glow about me. These effects are still on going even after having used it for about a year and a bit now.
Admittably I will say the masque isn't cheap and there are alot cheaper ones out there . However having had tried most of these, none of them come close to this one. Ive been using the 75ml tube for about 6 months now and because of the thickness and only needing a tiny amount i still have a fair bit left, so won't be needing to purchase anymore for a while yet. When i brought it is was £25 from boots however boots don't seem to stock in anymore so I now manage to get mine of amazon for the same price (£25).
When I found out i got into university I decided it was time to upgrade my laptop. I started to shop around when i came across these notebooks.. id only ever heard of them in the past and because of how tiny they were hadn't given purchasing one much thought however after going into pc world and doing some investigating of my own, I brought a refurbished one for £299 :) .
The things that first attracted me to the laptop was how great it looked and how light it is was at
only 2.6kg and how compact it was with its 15.6 inch screen. I also loved the fact it was in black as it gave it a really stylish, sophiscated and up to date, modern look.
Once I got it home and started having a play around with it the positive surpises just kept comming. The laptop has a very good mouse which has a scroll that you can use. The laptop also has a webcam which although its only 1.3mps I found the it to be above average and was perfect for skyping to my friends and family, especially whilst away at university .
Enough about the using it for skyping though and all the other fun things, as i did actually use it for the reason I purchased it lol in spite of what anyone thats reading this may think so far :P. The laptops 4GB of memory and a 750GB hard drive along with its 3GBs of RAM ment that is was more than capable of saving all my work on, during the time I spent at uni and managed to cope extremely well whilst I tried to multi task by using many programs at once such as using microsoft word and the internet.
The laptops battery power is pretty good you change how you want it to work when laptops on you can by clocking the little battery icon in the right hand bottom corner, from there you can select which power plan you want out of 3 options.. balanced, power saver, high performace depending on which one you choose affects how long your batteries life will last . I find it normally takes about an hour to fully charge and then once fully charged the battery normally lasts around 3 hours depending on which power plan you choose.. as it would last about half hr to a hr longer on power save.
The only slightly downside to this laptop is that the keys on the keyboard the appear to be very high up, which i didnt find a problem as such although i did find myself worrying as to whether when I pushed a key i would push it right in but luckily this ever happened as of yet. Also i find myself wondering if the keys being high up have anything to do with they haven't bothered or been able to put a latch(lock) on the laptop for when its shutm which most other laptops do have..if they could improve the laptop in anyway i think that would definitly be the one way they could .
overall though this laptop was a good buy :) and i am a very happy customer .
