Hello there, my name is Bill and I am a 50 something not-quite-silver surfer. I have been into computers for many years and am always amazed at the new things which come on here.

My hobbies are reading, I run a book group with my wife, keep fit, quizzes and photography. I have some of my shots in webshots.com albums under the user name scotia1949.

I was born in Scotland (Scotia is the Latin name for Scotland) in 1949, hence the nickname. I am married with 3 sons born in 81, 84 and 89. I have a strong interest in the education sector and have been a governor of my sons' school for over 6 years.

I am too shy to put my own picture up, but have included one of the many sunset photos I have taken in my local area of Kent.
