very nice dish for a very good price!

We bought this korma as it was on offer for £1 in our local supermarket. It takes 6-10 minutes in the microwave depending on the wattage, though it can also be cooked in the oven for around 30-45 minutes. Being impatient, I decided on the microwave method; the food came out hot and cooked perfectly.

The curry and rice are both a deep yellow colour, with visible flecks of spices and chopped onions. Unfortunately, there isn't much chicken in the dish for a 'chicken' korma. However, the flavour of the sauce certainly makes up for this! It has a very complex flavour, similar to those you would get in an indian restaurant. Whilst it isn't as creamy as a restaurant korma, it's very tasty for a microwave meal, and much healthier (the dish has around 450 kcals)

Overall, this is a good alternative to a takeaway - whilst it may not be completely authentic, it's a tasty and filling meal for one!
