This was the first FIFA version I ever laid my hands on. I am one of the few guys who started taking a keen interest in football after playing the game. That explains the reason why i did not play the previous versions of the game. Why I took a liking to this game, well I will tell you.
Firstly is the game play. This is one of the most engaging toughest games I have ever played. Most of the games that I play, the PC is at some level conquerable, but not the same with this game. The game has infused Artificial Intelligence to whole different level here. There are 4 default levels of difficulty- Amateur, Semi-Pro, Professional, World Class. The first 3 are some what manageable, but World Class, oh boy! It is so difficult to win against a 4 and 4+ team. I still remember one match, where the payer who was taking a free kick, changed his direction because I changed my goalie's direction, and guess what that player scored.
The other things I like about this game is it integrity. What I mean by this is, each player that is programmed in the game has the exact features and skills like he does in real life. Every player of the game is unique. Everyone has a different style of playing. This made the game even more interesting.
The game has many modes to choose from. They are
Be a Pro
All are equally challenging and entertaining enough to play. My personal favorites are Manager Mode, Tournament Mode and Challenge Mode. Manager Mode has all the basic features of a manager. It is quite challenging to play this mode. You have a lot of responsibilities from transferring players, to fulfilling Board's expectations. In Tournament Mode you can create your own tournaments. Challenge Mode has different challenges. You complete two Challenges and you unlock Legendary Mode.
The only bad thing about the game are the graphics. There is no change in it. But I did not care much for the graphics after playing the game, since it is a highly engaging, addictive, one of a kind game ever to be made. I still play it for 2 hours a day, and have been doing this since the past 1 year.
I have loved Angelina Jolie in most of her action films. She really suits the action chick role very aptly. And so when I heard that the a new action movie featuring her is going to be released, I wasted no time in buying a ticket and watching the movie.
Well the initial start of the movie seemed very fake to me. I mean if they mentioned something of Mr X being a robot then I would buy the fact he could make a 45ft long job from one tall storey building and into another without getting much physical hurt(did I mention he crashed into the glass window of the other building)
At that moment I wished that the entire movie was not with this kind of fake action, but sadly some scenes were. However those which action scenes which were very hard to digest simply because of the impossibleness associated with it, they were quite impressive if however someone could actually break the law of science. Poor Sir Isaac Newton would have been banging his head if saw some of the gravity defying acts performed here.
Wesley(James McAvoy) is a loner guy whose life is heading no direction. He is literally fed up with his office and personal life. One day he is attacked upon by an assassin, however Fox(Angelina Jolie) comes to his rescue. I still did not come to know how Fox knew he would be there.
And so the story goes that Fox is a part of an assassin gang headed by Sloan(Morgan Freeman) who randomly assassin people whose names appear on a cloth which was woven many years ago. How unrealistic is that. This was really lame. I mean to kill someone just because their name appears in a woven cloth.
Wesley then undergoes intensive training. He is taught how to swing bullets. Well I guess that is what separated this team of assassins from the rest. Also the fact that they got orders from a piece of cloth seemed so silly. Like I said before, the act of swinging the bullet seemed very fascinating. I was really impressed with the way they did it. But then they took this act a bit too far. Clipping the wings of a fly without killing it? Now that was too far. Not to mention the three times that bullets collided with each other. What is the probability of bullets colliding if you ask me is none!!
The movie continues with the random killing of assassins. Oh yeah now the car chase killing of one of the victim's, that was really cool. Imagine one car flying bang over your head, that enough will scare the pants of you, no need for any bullets to kill you.
Then the name of next assassin appears and it is Wesley's. Sloan sends Fox to kill him, however that is when the entire suspense is revealed. The truth about this assassin gang, Sloan everything is revealed. The suspense was very good. Very nice climax.
Overall I would say the movie had some fair amount of action scenes. The storyline was very silly I would say. Also the concept of swinging bullets remains mere fiction. Here I would say nice work guys for the animated effects. Very nicely done throughout the movie.
I bought the DVD of this film. After the movie I had kind of a mixed emotions after watching this film. This movie is very different from the normal way a superhero is. Most of the super heroes are well disciplined, good appearance, loved by the people. But this super hero is totally opposite.
The movie begins with a speed chase after some robbers. Hancock is lying all wasted on a bench, and some kid tells him to get up and stop the robbery. So you can imagine how lame he is. And then he saves the day, by stopping the robbers , however ends up doing more damage, than ever.
So that is why, he is in one way disliked by the people. He is unwanted by everyone. Also Hancock despises people, he has a very bad behavior. However Ray Embrey(Jason Bateman), who gets saved by Hancock, decides to change Hancock's image. He tries to inculcate some discipline in him. Meanwhile his wife Mary Embrey(Charlize Theron) does not like Hancock visiting her house. She despises him a lot.
Later it turns out that there is some connection between Hancock and Mary. What is it, I am not going to reveal. However one thing became clear, that Hancock too has some weakness. The end of the movie is very sloppy, did not like it one bit.
However I really liked Will Smith's performance. Any role he takes, he acts so well, so professional, and he does it again with Hancock. The concept of the movie is very good, invincible hero, despised by all, then regaining faith in people. However lacking part of the film was the villain. There was no powerful villain as you would say. That really made the film crappy. I expected some equal match for Hancock, but was disappointed.
I have seen almost all the superhero movies, loved most of them. this superhero looked very classy. I watched this movie in the theater.
This was the film of Robert Downey Jr. I cannot think of any other acted who would have played the role of Tony Stark as well as Iron Man.
Tony Stark is a brilliant industrialist who designs weapons for the Army. He gets captivated by the terrorists in Afghanistan and is forced to design weapons for them. He somehow manages to escape from there in a robot type costume. He later finds out that the weapons are being used in the wrong manner.
He then thinks of making a better robot costume. This is Iron Man.
Fully functional, equipped to encounter all disasters, highly advanced. He starts to solve the crisis going on in Afghanistan.
However the fact that he build Iron Man is not taken too well by some people. Like every super hero film, this too has a villain. Who he is I will not reveal.
I really liked the technology used in this film. Very Hi-fi, very cool.
Robert's acting is so perfect. His personality, his character suits the role of Iron Man perfectly. The movie has a good storyline, very nice concept. However I did not like the way the film ended.
The film is worth watching for Robert's acting, Iron Man and some action scenes.
