      Good value bibs.

I was bought these bibs when I was expecting my first child as we were trying to stock up on a few baby things but we didn't want to find out the sex of the baby so had to be careful to buy unisex items. At first I wasn't very keen on the bibs as they seemed so stiff on my newborn because of the plastic backs but as soon as she was a couple of months old and starting to drink a lot more milk (and spit a lot more out) they became very useful.

I used these bibs a lot when we began weaning as there so cheap I really didn't mind if they were stained (with orange baby food). I even took these bibs abroad with me on the basis that if they really got that dirty then I wouldn't mind throwing them away and buying replacements when we got home. Having said that these bibs are so easy to wash and come up really clean every time. My only small gripe with them is there not a very big fit around the neck which means that my daughter is now six months old and with her eating habits I would very much like her to still be wearing the bibs but she has just about out grown them.

The bibs are Velcro fastening with the fastening at the side rather than the back, they seem to stay on very well as my daughter loves to try and make it her mission to pull her bibs off but she hasn't managed to do so yet with these bibs. In summary these are great value for money although they don't look the most attractive and I just wish they did them in a bigger fit.

      Brilliant, well worth the money

After trying many different vacuums I finally gave in and purchased a dyson. I had been using cheaper branded vacuums as I simply couldn't afford a dyson and was convinced in the beginning that all vacuums did exactly the same job. My last purchase was a vax vacuum for pet hairs. I have a dog that malts ALOT, I was sick of vacuuming up to walk round and see dog hairs still embedded in the carpet everywhere so I gave in!

I finally got the credit card out and treated myself to the dyson and I am so glad I did it. I vacuumed with my old vax first and then went over with the dyson and I was shocked at how much the dyson picked up from my carpets!!! At first i thought the dyson felt heavy when picking it up but once it's in use it doesn't feel heavy at all. I also thought that I would struggle hoovering the stairs but they make it so easy for you as the vacuum can easily sit on the steps. I found I only have to move it once up the stairs anyway as it has a really long extension pipe so u can do the majority of your stairs without having to move the dyson at all.

It has all the usual attachments, it's really easy to use and is an all round brilliant vacuum. It saves you so much time in the long run as it's so good. I really can't reccommend this vacuum enough it has saved me a lot if time and energy and if I had just bought this vacuum in the beginning it would have saved me a lot of money.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Good value for money

The Hauck travel system is good value for money with everything you need. We purchased this as first time parents not really knowing what we needed and what we didn't. This has everything included, pushchair with pram attachment, car seat attachment, cover for pram and pushchair, rain cover and even change bag all to match.

      Pro's :-
It's very easy to take the pram on and off, a little trickier to do the carseat but it gets easier with practice. You do need two hands to put the pushchair up and down but the back rest can be manoeuvred using just one hand. The Pushchair is nice and compact when folded. The basket can be accessed when the pushchair is in the lie flat position. It has an automatic lock when you put the pushchair down. There is two different handle heights. It has an adjustable leg rest.

      Cons :-
There is no viewing window so unfortunately you can't peep at your child as your walking along without popping your head round the pushchair. The pushchair isn't free standing when you put it down. The pushchair seems quite heavy when trying to stow it away. The shopping basket isn't as big as the over travel systems I have seen. The rain cover is a zip on cover so it doesn't cover the whole of the pushchair (however it covers the child well).

In summary this is a good travel system for the money with only a few minor gripes but overall not only is it very practical but it is stylish too.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Best for creating volume but not for curling

I was bought this babyliss hair styler for mothers day as I've wanted a big curling Tongue for a while now. I have quite fine hair and I wanted to try and create a big curl effect with plenty of volume.

At first I found these really difficult to get the hang of, I'm so used to curling my hair with Straightners now and seeing instant curls. I found that even with having fine hair I had to use the tongues on the highest heat an keep it in place for at least 5 seconds to see any sort of curl, it was exactly the effect I wanted. However I found that after an hour or so all the curls had dropped out I would probably just be left with a few flicks at the end of my hair. My hair would still look like it had quite a lot of volume in it but it definitely wasn't the orginal look I'd had in the beginning.

I think that this product is best used for creating volume and maybe a little curl/flick at the end of your hair, a sort of Holly willoughby style but definitely not if you want full on curls.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Yummy goodness all with the advantage of great skin afterwards.

Soap and glory breakfast scrub definitely smells good enough to eat! It has a yummy aroma of maple syrup, if you like maple syrup then this is a massive plus, if you don't then you will probably find the smell of this product far too over powering.

A small amount is all it takes to leave your skin feeling sumptuous and smooth. I use this product a couple of times a week and that is all it takes to keep my dry skin at bay. If you use soap and glory breakfast scrub along with there clean on me product it leaves your skin feeling well moisturised and smelling scrumptious, not to mention uber clean. I am too lazy to use a moisturising lotion after my bath but I have found that my skin really doesn't seem to need it with this product.

It may not be the cheapest body scrub but you get your moneys worth, it seems to last forever! It is a definite must buy for those of you that have secret cravings for maple syrup. All the aroma and pleasure without any of the guilt.

All in all I give this product 4 out of 5 stars because although I love it completely I feel that it may not appeal so much to everyone because it really does have such a strong aroma when being used.
