My daughter used Whittards online because she got some free flooz (an online currency) which you can use at Whittards. At the time she ordered they were selling china - mugs, bowls etc as well as the usual tea and coffee. She ordered 6 mugs, various coffees, and some biscuits and marmalade and was promised they would be delivered within a few days. Unfortunately they were not delivered until nearly two weeks after a couple of e-mails to customer services but nevertheless when the goods arrived they were in good condition and wrapped very carefully in bubble wrap inside a big box. The delivery charge for Whittards is £2.95 and so for delivery of this big box I think is extremely reasonable. Unfortunately we visited the site a few weeks later and they are back to selling just tea and coffee etc with just one range of china, not the whole range which you can get in the shops which is a shame.
I bought my Clio more by accident than design - looking for a good second hand, small car (any type) I had the opportunity to take on a 2 year-old white Renault Clio (several years ago - a J reg) from my husband's firm. I fell in love with my Clio straight away - great shape, neat, stylish, not too feminine. The RT has 5 doors, and a great engine - 1800cc - pretty powerful for a tiny vehicle. Acceleration is immediate, direct and responsive. Power-assisted steering is easy on the arms, makes 3-point turns a doddle, but is firm and directional. I prefer the interior on this older model to the newer Clio. It's simple, pale grey velour, no frills whereas the new models are stripey, patterned and in hectic hues. Renault dealers are everywhere so it's not difficult to get a Clio serviced and maintained and the spares are not too expensive. I would not hesitate to buy another when the time comes to replace this one though I would have a good look at the newest sporty model.
Ceefax is great for real last minute bargain holidays. However it does take a long time to go through all the pages to search for what you want if you are doing it the conventional way through your telivision. A less time consuming way is their website which i'm pretty sure is www.ceefax.co.uk . If you don't mind exactly where you end up or what kind of accomodation you have then this is for you, for others who really like to see exactly what they are getting its better to steer clear. The only time i tried to book, the exact holiday specification i wanted was booked up and they could only offer unnamed accomodation with which i was just not willing to take the risk. However i do know a couple of people who have booked through them and got great bargains, even booking the day before they actually went on holiday thus getting it very cheaply.
