I am a non-smoker but don't have a huge problem with people smoking in public. I do have a problem when they either scatter their ashes over me or smoke right in my face however. I think that it depends what you class as a public place really. I think people are within their right to smoke in a pub as it is allowed, but I also think that having a non-smoking section in a pub is a good idea. Smoking can harm some people especially babies and asthmatics but car fumes do this aswell don't they? One thing I don’t like about smoking in public places is when you arrive home or somewhere else having been out and you reek of cigarettes. This is fine for smokers but non-smokers having chosen not to smoke shouldn't have to put up with the smell on them really. I think that there are times and places to smoke and there are also times and places not to smoke. One thing I don't like is that when someone else smokes other people breathe in the fumes (passive smoking). I think this is worrying, as people get some forms of cancer from smoking but what about passive smoking? Overall I would say that I don't have a problem with smokers smoking in public but they shouldn't do it when it isn't appropriate such as when a baby, asthmatic or elderly person is in the room as it is more likely to affect them.
Sometimes I think that there is no point in getting married and having children if you are going to get divorced later on in life. But then, sometimes I think, how are you supposed to know that later on after you are married and have children you might change your mind and not love your wife/husband anymore. This doesn’t help the real victims: The children. We are stuck in the middle really. My parents have both married each other, then another person once divorced and then gotten divorced again. My parents got divorced when I was 4/5 and then my mum and my step-dad got divorced when I was 11, then my dad and step-mum got divorced when I was 13. This has left me with feels that I can’t explain that well but in a way it has educated me and made me more alert for when I am older. It hasn’t put me off getting married but has made me think. In the back of my mind I am often thinking what if my mum and dad had never gotten divorced. I wouldn’t have known my step-brother, step-mum and step-dad then and my half sister. They wouldn’t exist in my life and my little sister wouldn’t exist fall-stop. I am quite lucky though because the divorces I experienced didn’t involve too much hassle as regards lawyers and courtrooms as some cases do. When my uncle got divorced he was sued a lot of money from his wife for no apparent reason. I do get annoyed though because even though I was quite young when ‘the divorces’ took place I never understood why they happened. I was the youngest child and as my mum said ‘It’s nothing you need to worry about.' I wouldn't be normal if i didn't let it bother me. It transforms you. One thing that I am glad of is that my little half-sister knows and has done all along that we have different dads and that my older to sisters have the same dad as me aswell. Even though I wouldn't have chosen to have divorced pa
rents it's better then hearing them argue all the time like some parents on the brink of getting divorced do. I think that overall divorce does in different ways for different people affect deeply and physiologically the children of the parents getting divorced. It changes their life and way of seeing things.
This album has 20 brilliant tracks including the excellent new single Haters. In the album it has photos of every person in the band and I would just like to say if you are female then look at ROMEO he is lush. The title of this ace album is 'They Don't Know' as is one of the tracks on this album. On the front it says 'Parental Advisory' due to the swear words but they flow into the music if you get what i mean. The 20 tracks are Intro, Haters, Oh No Remix, They Don't Know, Envy(They Don't Know Remix), What Could You Do?, If It Was Me, Friend Of Mine, Deeper, In My Life, Way Back When, Skla, Whoah, Ride Wid Us, F**k Wid Us, 21 Seconds, Something New, Rave Scene and Outro. I think although they all have something in common they are all really good and I can listen to this album without caring which track it is. Although Haters is my favourite track. I brought this album for nine pounds ninety nine pence in a local WHSmith shop. I would definitely say that this album was worth it. Only if you are into this kind of music though.
This film has been described as 'Beatifully made and curiosly haunting' by a newspaper and I couldn't say it better myself. The storyline is really good and the actors such as Josh Hartnett (Yum), Kathleen Turner, Kirsten Dunot and James Woods play their parts really well. The story is told by a group of teenage boys who have become fascinated by a these (beatiful) five sisters on their block. They tell the story of what they have researched and seen about the lives of these sisters. There is a sister called Ceicila who is thirteen. A sister called Lux who is fourteen. A sister called Bonnie was fifthteen. A sister called Mary who was sixteen and a sister called Therese who was seventeen. These sisters all live together with their mum and dad. Their mum and dad are church goers and (particulary her mum)don't let them do certain average teenage things such as proms and discos. I personally think the mum is a bit funny in the head. I don't want to spoil the film for you so I won't say much more. As you can guess from the title, suicides occur. Although, the a called virgins not because they are but because of their innocense. You only have to see the film and you can tell why Lux isn't a virgin. This film is rated a 15. Although I wouldn't say it was because the suicide seens where to bad. I would definitely say to watch this film and maybe even read the book. Another good thing is that it has stuck to the book as some films don't. I would definitely watch this film again.
The phone that have at the moment is on the Network Orange. This Network offers a range of things to do on and with your phone. Following are two services that orange provide: TEXT MEDIA: This service is very easy to use. All you need to do is call 277 from your Orange phone and listen to the prompts. You can have Horoscopes, Sports New and results, News and Lottery Results. These can then be sent to your phone in the form of text message. This costs 12p a time. To cancel this on your phone you have to follow the promts of the service that you want and then at the end it will say to set up pree 1 and to cancel press 2. ANSWER PHONE RECORDED MESSAGE: This is the service in which you can call 123 from your phone and the record or listen to meeages on your Orange phone. When you get your phone it will already have a recorded message on your phone for when your phone is off or you don't answer after loads of rings. If you need help then there are many numbers you can call. 452 is the number for free recorded infomation on the Just Talk Guide Line. The Orange company keep you well informed with changes to price, services and other things that you might like to know. To top up your Orange phone you can do three things. You can phone 450 and give them your credit card details so they can take a certain amount off. Buy a phone voucher and call 450 to register it. You register it by scracthing off the gry stuff and typing in the number on one side of the voucher. You can now go into a store and get them to swipe your swipe card and then within seconds your phone is topped up. This is the Just Talk Plan and as I have a Just Talk Phone i am sorry but I don't have that much information on non Just Talk Plans. At the moment I think it is 10p a minute off peak and 20p on peak when calling from Europe. You can change your off peak time bands vair
ly often but you can't change it more then once in a day ever. The only problem is that my dad lives in a village in the counrty side and so it means that when we go to stay with him there is not a very goos signal. Signal has 4 bars and 4 being the top and 0 being the lowest one. You can also phone using your Orange phone from abroad and all that you have to do is get a few details togetehr and type in some numbers on your phone before you go on holiday. I generally think that Orange has a range of offers and is a good phone network although the problem that i face when I go to my dads for the weekend.
I got this as a present from my mum and didn't listen to it that much. Then I listened to it and wow! Craig David is everything. Lush, down to earth and a great singer. His album has 12 ace tracks on it. They are all great but they seem to have the same sort of thing about them but then they are done by the same person so what do you expect? The songs include: Track1: FILL ME IN: This is one of my favourites on the album and I'm sure that you have heard it. It is really soft but not boring. I think this is a background or candlelight dinner type of song. The basic storyline of the song if you get my meaning is that a guy(Craig David) and his next door naighboue get it together when her parents are out and how they try not to let the parents know. It sounds good atleast when you are listening to it. This track is 4 minutes and 17 seconds long. My rating of this is 9/10. Track2: CAN'T BE MESSING 'ROUND: This has more of a lively beat then the last one and his words are more speede up then FILL ME IN. This isn't as well heard but I think it is vairly good. The song kind of flows off of your tongue if you know what I mean. Again though his voice is very soft and although this happens it seems like each word is different to the other even though it might have been used before. This tack is 3 minutes and 54 seconds long. My rating of this is 7/10. Track3: RENDEZVOUS: Like track1 this is very slow and soft. This definetely isn't club music! This doesn't mean that it isn't a good track though. I know it sounds stupid but this song sounds even better in darkness. I kind of makes you think about anything your wan to think about. It carries on a bit but this doesn't spoil the song. I don't think it would sound as good if it didn't. This track is 4 minutes and 37 seconds long. My rating of this is 8/10. Track4: 7 Days: This is my favourite one on the a
lbum. It has a good beat and isn't too slow and not to fast. It is also easy to learn the words and he sings this as good as anyone could. The chorus is also ace and the ending ends abruptly but not to abruptly. I have also seen the video for this song and it is great and he looks absolute lush in it. This track is 3 minutes and 55 seconds long. My rating of this is 10/10. Track5: FOLLOW ME: This is quite a slow beat song and starts quite late to get to the words. The words are vairly good and the main ones are 'follow me follow me to my bathroom' which he says really nicely if you get my meaning. This song is very softly sung and makes you feel in a good mood. This track is 4 minutes and 1 second long. My rating of this track is 9/10. Track6: LAST NIGHT: This song starts with him telling you all about a girl that he met the night before. Then it goes into a conbine of ryhms and soft and loud beats. Then he atrts the first verse. I like this song as it just flows and is easy to learn. The chorus is lush and sounds great. This is 4 minutes and 31 seconds long. My rating of this is 9/10. Track7: WALKING AWAY: If you haven't heard this song then listen to it and then you can say you have. The basic words used are 'I'm walking away' and he sure is. It has a really nice beat and as with pratically all his songs it flows. This is 3 minutes and 24 seconds long. My rating is 9/10. Track8: TIME TO PARTY: This has a faster beat and sounds alot different to all of his other songs as it has a different vibe to it. It is about Friday when the party comes. It is just him having a good time and having fun. All they way through it has the same fast beat which has others added to it throughout. This is 4 minutes and 5 seconds long. My rating of this is 8/10. Track9: BOOTY MAN: This has a range of different sounds and starts with him just sayinf a few words for longer then if
you just singing normally. The basic thing is that the 'booty man can.' He has made it so that some of it rymes and some doesn't. This doesn't sound weird. This shows that he can range the note of his voice while still singing the same word. This is 3 minutes and 48 seconds long. My rating is 8/10. Track10: ONCE IN A LIFETIME: This song is sang very slowly at the fist and then speeds up more as it gets further on. This song uses more of his voice then of background musci then the other songs on this album. This is an okay song but is definetely not one of my favourite ones. This is 3 minutes and 30 seconds long. My rating of this is 7/10. Track11: YOU KNOW WHAT: This starts with him singing really softly 'yeah' and then he starts the song. This is a good song but it sounds a bit too much like another song of his but I'm not sure which one. "We were meant to be togther for eternity' is used alot in this song. As it rymes and flows it makes the song sound better. This is 3 minutes and 34 seconds long. My rating is 8/10. Track12: REWIND: You must know this song. It is really good and even though it carries on a bit it goes well. This is unlike all his other songs as it is alot more beaty if you get me. It could be played in clubs were as his others aren't quite that fast enough beat. This is 5 minutes and 33 seconds long. There you go all the songs on this ace album. If you listen to it carefully you will notice that I think Craig David ays his anem in every song. Altogether this is a great album and I would recomend buying it. When I got the album it included a interveiw disc of Craig David and I'm not sure if that is still going. Every song has the words written on the inside of the case and there are also a few baby photos of him and at the back there is a very long list of people that he would like to thank. I think the only thing
wrongs with this album is that the songs are mostly the smae but who cares as long as you like the songs then it doesn't matter. Buy this album it's very good. I rate this album 10/10. I think this is a great album because he has a great singing voice, his songs are great and he doesn't think he is great although he is.
I watched this when I was baby sitting with my sister once and I have to say that it was really good. The only problem is the begining kind of put me off as it is a bit gruesome. The basic storyline is that a group of high school kids notice strange things happening at their high school. They then investigate and come to the conclusion that aliens are taking over their school. They then have to find out who is the main alien and then once they have killed that one it will all be over. There are so many creepy people and suspects though I for one got it wrong as to who is the main alien. I know it sounds stupid but the story line is really good and keeps you guessing until the last minute. The actors are very in-role if you get my meaning and act out their parts excellently. The charcters include a pretend lesbian, a know all, a druggie, a 'perfect' girl, an annoying boy, a freaky coach and some just plain weird teachers. I would recomend seeing this movie as it is very good. The plot is ace and the characters build up this is a must see must see again.
I honestly don't think that this is worth calling a form of punishment. I say this because, how can someone be punished if they just feel a small bit of pain and then it is over? Surely it would be better if they suffered in jail for the rest of their life with no contact with television or music and things that most people can't imagine living without. The only problem with being jailed 'for life' is that often they are let out after a certain amount of time for good behavior and absolute rubbish reasons like that. Like those two boys who killed that little boy Jamie Bulger. They didn't get life imprisonment. They got a new chance at life. Including a new identity, house and the family of Jamie Bulger just get a memory of their son and a little bit of cash. I mean come on. My dad is a strong beleiver in capital punishment and sometimes it bugs me and other times it makes sense I mean they killed someone why shouldn't they be killed them selves? Although if everyone went round killing everyone for killing others they would get killed and then etc. If you think about it though what if they get the wrong person and they then find out a bit later when it is too late. How can you explain that to a family member? Some states in America and some other countries still give out capital punishment and I am just glad that we don't. Imagine if you were involved in a fight and someone died and you were killed or your family were. Wouldn't it be horrible? The three most heard of capital punishments are beheading, hanging, and the lethal injection. Although nowadays it is mainly the lethal injection. Did you know that if you get your head chopped off you can see for thirty seconds afterwards. You would see all these people either sheering or crying and wouldn't be able to do anything and then your body would go into darkness. SCARY. The truth is that thes
e people don't deserve to live. Although in a way it is to easy to let them die.
I don't know about you but Primark is one of those places where you either are embarassed about shopping in there, you couldn't care care less or you care sometimes. I think this is mainly because the shop is well known for being simply CHEAP. Now this is not neccarily a bad thing for some people but personally I think that I would much rather pay a bit more and buy something from a shop like Nwe Look or Pilot then in Primark. There is clothes for boys, girls, men and women. Which include bras, knickers, trousers, baby grows, socks, tee-shirts, shirts, pants and a few others. This sounds vairly good but the quality isn't quite up to my standards really. The shop seems quite crowded if I go in on a Saturday there always seems to be an unhelpful quite rude person behind the till. The changing rooms are also a bit weird aswell. This is mainly because they are like not seperate rooms their is just one room for females and one roon for males. This makes you feel uncomfortable and confined. I don't have a problem with shopping in there but if given the chance to shop somewhere else I definately would.
One of the most important things in life is to have enough of this water. It may not have andy taste or smell but if you drink loads it can prove very good for you. This helps spots either stay away or die and also means that you can last longer out in the sun with out dehydrating. If you don't have regular amounts of water it can have very bad effects on you. 90 per cent of your body is made up of water and this helps keep your body working at it's best. Water hasen't always been good for you though as not last century but the one before getting Cholera was like normal as the water wasn't as clean as it is nowadays and carried many diseases. Nowadays however it is alot more cleaner. In some places it isn't quite clear like you would expect it to be but as long as it is clean that is all that matters. In some foreign places it is still unsafe to drink their water and only bottled water will do. Then there is places like some in Africa where some people have hardly a drop a day literally. It makes you think when you have a glass of the fact some people only have a glass a lifetime. Also in some places in Africa people are faced with a problem of if they drink the water they might die and if they don't they might die. It is recomended to have 8 glasses of water a day and I for one don't think that i have quite that much. If you think about it though there isn't anything in this world that hasn't got a trace of water in it that is edible.
Out of my experience most of the 2nds 3rds etc are nether as good as the first one as far as films are concerned. With this film it changes that and makes it just as funny and ace as the first one The film has exactly the same cast as before which also helps as it wouldn't be as good if the characters were played by different people. The basic storyline is that the boys (can we call them men?) have finshed two semesters and are looking foward to the summer ahead of them. Kevin (the quite alright one) speaks to his brother and gets yet again some (useful) advice from him. This leads to him, Jim, stifler, finch and Oz all setting off to the lake for their summer. I would also say that the acters are very good and play their characters very well. It is very beleivable unlike some films and acters. I won't spoil the film for you but it has some very funny bits that had the whole cinema audience in fits. Including an interesting bit with super glue and also a bit with what are thought are lesbians aswell. This is as far as I am concerned a must see film. It doesn't matter if you haven't seen the first film though I would suggest to as this too is a very funny and good film. Happy veiwing :-)
This is one thing in life that the only way it is true is if you beleive it your self. Like religeon where the truth is what you beleive. Unlike religeon how ever there has been children who have from a very early age of about 2 have started talking about their life before this one and their other parents. These cases have also been traced and the children have been telling the tale of 'their other life' as someone else who went through these things. I am torn between what happens after life very much so. As sometimes I think that you just stop breathing your memory goes and you are ended. Where as other times I think maybe I am not unique and maybe I learn through experiences that I have already gone through. I think that I am more beleiving 'Life after death' every second rather then blackness forever. I do sometimes think that your life is forever until you die! In this life there is no way of knowing so don't look foward to 'life after death' and just live this life excellently. In the year 1999 a person that I had a major crush on was run over by a car. I can feel him watching over me and I have this sense that he is there however I have no idea if he is above or in another form. For all I know he could be my baby cousin and could have been reborn. Their is no way of knowing. It does get you thinking though doesn't it.
We have only just had BT 1571 put on our home phone. We have so far only had one problem with it and that is that it for some reason doesn't come on when we are are engaged but only when we are on the interrnet. However we haven't had any other problems with it apart from that. I noticed though that someone said that it charges alot. When we phoned up to get it on they said it wouldn't charge us a penny and as we have only just had it put on we haven't had our phone bill so I dunno. It is quite easy to uae though. All that you have to do is phone 1571 on your phone and then this lady will say whether or not you have a message. If you do you can then listen to it and if you don't then you can just hang up. If you have listened to your message then you can delete. It's as easy as that.
Superdrug is generally a vairly good store. There is a widely ranged selection of toiletries which are also widely ranged in price. There are ones for money savers and ones for people with a bit more money. Although through what I have seen even the cheaper goods are still vairly good. There are quite a few different makers of make up as well such a collection 2000 and many more. You can buy eye shadow, clear or waterproof or coloured mascara, lipsticks, lip balms, lip glosses and a few more. There is also a pharmicie where you can get all types of drugs to help treat and cure you. What I call 'thingies' are also sold there. 'Thingies' are sanitary towels. From what I have seen from shopping trips when I have been in Superdugs the lay out of the store is generally very good. Another of the many things that Superdrugs sells is crisps, chocolate, drinks and other little food stuffs like that. They also have babby products and other essentials for mum to-bes and mums such as baby food, baby monitors and cups and saucers. The layout in the store makes it so that it is easy to locate what you are looking for rather then some stores. The make up is together, as so are the food and hair dyes and shampoos and conditioners. The staff always seem helpful when you are looking for a percific item and from my experience definetely give you that service with a smile that you want when you are shopping. There is also often many deals all around the store includind meal deals which involve the basic luch at a cheaper rate then if you brought it seperately.
I know that most men like nothing less then staying up all night because the boxing is on the television through my experience. Although I have to ask them and myself is it worth it. I mean, do they honestly watch it because they enjoy watching two men battering each others heads out or is it just the frill of staying up late. Don't get me wrong but while the watches are warm and safe at home or behind the ring for the people inside the ring it must be horrific. Is the thousands of pounds that they get paid worth getting put in hospital or even worse in a coffin way too early? I am not trying to worp your minds at all but I don't think that boxing is safe and I certainly don't think that it should get as much media as it does to premote it. On the other hand I feel sorry for the sport boxing as other sports are just as dangerous but boxing just brings out that danger in bright red really. I am not saying it should be banned but I will say that i would rather it was stopped before too many people were hospitalised or killed. I think that the sport could be made a bit more safer then it is.
