An attractive and functional iPod at a decent price!

The Apple iPod nano 2GB is a greta new addition to the Apple iPod range and really is pencil thin! It measures just 0.26 of an inch and is incredibly light weighing just 1.41 ounces light! I found this to be a real advantage of the iPod as its so small and is so portable. I found that I could easily fit the iPod itself into my hand and is really comfortable to use. However, the iPod does not have any curvature at the back and so is not as comfortable as the most recent generation of iPod nano's.
The iPod nano has a great screen resolution, however, it is just 1.5'' which is really quite small when looking at photo's and even scrolling through music artists - that was my main criticism of the iPod. In addition, I did not like how there was no video playback feature which I found disappointing. However, I found that looking at photo's on the high resolution screen is really quite good.
The audio quality of the iPod is very good just like any other iPod and really is superb. The battery life is also very good and I found that when listening to music it lasts for a good 10 hours of playback which is ideal for longer trips. However, I would really have liked there to have been a radio function built into the radio.
The 2GB of storage space is really not very much at all and can only store around 500 or so songs. I don't think this is to much of a problem depending on what function the iPod will have and how big your music collection is. For example, I use this iPod just for running and so I found the 2GB of storage space to be fine.
Overall, this is a stylish and very functional iPod. However, it lacks storage space and has a small screen.

        Disadvantages

A very stylish pencil thin iPod but with some limitations.

The Apple iPod nano 4GB really is another great iPod by Apple released with a strong combination of functionality and design. I bought this iPod originally as an upgrade to my Mac Mini and it really has proved to be a worthwhile upgrade. The iPod has a number of features that make it a revolutionary iPod such as its size and its colour screen.
The iPod itself is very slim indeed measuring less than a cm in width, it is also really quite shallow in height but I found that it fits really well into the hand. However, it does not have any curvature in its design and so it is not as comfortable as the current generation of iPod nano's. I found that the sleek black design really does look great and is far better than any other MP3 player on the market given its simplicity.
The screen is only 1.5'' but has a high resolution. I found this just about ok for looking at photo's and scrolling through the music in my collection. However, it is a bit on the small size and can get a bit irritating when looking at it on a longer basis. In addition, the iPod nano has no video playback which I found disappointing but given the screen size this is expected.
In terms of the battery life it lasts in my experience for almost 10 hours which I found ideal when listening to music when on a longer trip. The 4GB HD space I found to be quite small and this was one disadvantage of this iPod.
Overall, it is a stylish and functional iPod however, the small screen size and small HD space are a disadvantage.

A great new iPod by Apple - really recommended!

The Apple iPod nano 5th generation 16GB really is another excellent iPod from Apple that I would really recommend. It has really proved to be a great upgrade from the previous nano for me with a whole array of new features such as the video camera. I wanted to buy this new iPod nano because I thought the design was really appealing and I thought that 16GB of space was ideal for my music and photo collection.
In terms of design and aesthetics the iPod nano really does have a very sleek and stylish look. I really loved how the iPod nano was available in multiple colours. The iPod is also incredibly thin and I found it to be very comfortable to hold and to use. It fits into the hand really well allowing for comfortable and functional use.
In terms of battery life the iPod is very good lasting for over 10 hours. I found this to be absolutely superb for listening to music etc on longer trips. Even when looking at photos and watching videos the battery lasts for a long amount time.
The display is 2.2'' and rectangular in shape and is of a very high resolution which I found absolutely ideal for looking at photo's, watching movies and scrolling through various artists. In addition, the iPodhas a video camera which I didn't originally think would be very good but was actually very impressed. Its ideal for shooting videos on various trips and given the size of the iPod nano is just excellent.
The audio quality is superb as with any iPod and the FM built in radio is ideal I found when on the motorway etc and it has a live pause function. Overall, this is a great new iPod and considering I bought this for just £125 from Amazon it is priced reasonably. I would therefore highly recommend this product.

Another great addition to the iPod range - highly recommend!

The Apple iPod nano 5th generation really is another great release by Apple and I would highly recommend it for a number of reasons. I originally bought this iPod as an upgrade to my 3rd generation iPod nano which only had 4GB of space which I found quite small. However, this new iPod nano came with a much more reasonable 8GB of space which although not huge can store at least 2,000 tracks and some photo's.
In terms of design and aesthetics this is my favourite iPod ever released and I love how you can buy the iPod in all of the rainbow colours to suit your exact personality! The iPod itself is very thin and very sleek and therefore fits really nicely into the hand and I found it to be very comfortable to hold and use.
The iPod has a number of features such as a 2.2'' rectangular shape screen which I found is crisp and ideal for scrolling through your music collection. It really is a very functional display and is also great for looking at photo's etc. However, I found the screen size a bit too small for watching movies on. The iPod also has a built in FM radio which is great for when you get bored of your own music collection! It even has a live pause function which is ideal.
The iPod also features a video camera which I was really impressed by because it shoots quality video's which is ideal for trips away to a beach or theme park etc.
The battery life is superb lasting for in my experience around 10-12 hours which is ideal. I got this iPod for £112 roughly from Apple which I really did think was a great price. Overall, a great iPod that I would though rally recommend!

A great upgrade from the iPhone 3G!

The Apple iPhone 3GS 16GB is just another great smartphone by Apple and I could not recommend it more. The features, aesthetics and general performance of this phone really are excellent. However, this phone on pay as you go cost me £350 from the Apple store which I thought was very expensive, especially compared with other smart phones. I bought this iPhone as an upgrade to my iPhone 3G and it really did prove to be a worthwhile upgrade.
In terms of the aesthetics and design the iPhone has the iconic chrome surround and the sleek black of the main body which just looks fantastic. It is simplistic but beautiful and its curvature at the back fits into the palm of the hand very well. I found this to be important as when using the phone for a longer amount of time it remains comfortable in the hand.
The 3GS I found was much quicker than the 3G in opening applications and in general use which I thought was much better as the general performance of the phone is better. The camera now has a video feature and is 3 megapixels which whilst not amazing is still able to capture video's of a relatively good quality. I found this feature really useful for the occasional video and photo.
The phone comes with 16GB of space which I found was the ideal space for storing photo's, music and applications - in terms of storage space the 3GS was well worth the upgrade from the 3G with 8GB.
The applications preinstalled on the iPhone including calendar, maps and notes etc are very easy to use thanks to the beautiful touch screen display which has a very high resolution. The high resolution and perfect sensitivity of the touch screen display made using the phone an absolute pleasure.
Overall, this is another great iPhone and in my opinion is well worth the upgrade from the 3G, however, it is expensive.

An incredible iMac delivering unparalleled performance - highly recommend!

The Apple iMac really is just a wonderful desktop machine that in my opinion is second to none. It delivers everything that you could possibly want from a desktop computer but in style. I found that the iMac is superior by far to any PC that I have ever tried and I am so glad that I finally made the move from Windows to Mac. I bought the iMac from Amazon for £1,318 which is a lot of money for a desktop computer, however, the quality of the computer is truly exceptional.
The iMac has an incredible spec together with very impressive performance which is ideal if you want to run games or more demanding applications such as Adobe CS5. It has 4GB of ram which is truly excellent and I found can handle any application with ease, it also has a core 2 duo 3.06GHz processor which is remarkably fast. I found that it handles multimedia tasks such as playing music, watching movies etc... with absolute ease. The iMac also has a 27'' screen with a very high resolution making watching movies and web browsing a much more pleasurable experience. The iMac also has a 1TB HD which is just unbelievable and can store all of the photo's, music, games that you could ever want. The spec of this iMac is therefore truly unmatched and delivers incredible performance.
The iMac comes preinstalled with Mac OSX snow leopard which I found very easy to get the hang of. Its a great operating system which is very efficient and has helped to make me more productive! Like the iMac itself the aesthetics is just supreme compared to any other PC I have seen.
Overall, this is an unbelievable machine which provides incredible performance but at a cost. It has many useful and impressive features which help to bring your overall computing experience to the next level!

A great entry level Apple Mac computer - highly recommend!

The Apple Imac really is from my experience a wonderful computer that has both the speed and the design to appeal to anyone. It has a variety of features which really do make this an excellent computer that is well worth getting. I originally bought this iMac for around £500 or so on eBay and so far have been really impressed by the computer and the Mac OSX operating system. I was persuaded to make the move from PC to Mac after trying this computer out in an Apple Mac store in London and I really am glad I made the move - 'Once you go Mac you don't go back'.
In terms of performance and features the iMac has a 160GB HD and 512mb of ram which I upgraded to 2GB relatively cheaply. The iMac also has a intel core 2 duo 1.83GHz processor which really did give the computer overall great performance and I found applications really quick to turn and the overall operating system moved smoothly.
In terms of design and aesthetics I found the iMac to look great on a desk and really stylish. I loved how the computer/ motherboard is integrated into the monitor as this saved space and made it an ideal space saving computer. The 17'' monitor is of a really high quality and is great for watching films, browsing the internet and for general computer use. The iMac also comes with a built in i-sight camera which is ideal for using in applications such as Skype which I really liked.
Overall, the performance of this iMac is very good and it has a good spec. For an Apple Mac available for under £500 on eBay it provides a low-cost alternative for PC users. I would therefore highly recommend this computer!

Another revolutionary smartphone from Apple - highly recommend!

The Apple iPhone 3GB is a truly outstanding smartphone that deliver's everything that you could really want from a phone. Everything from the screen resolution to the design is really perfect and on that basis I could not recommend it enough. However, I bought this phone on pay as you go from 02 for £350 which is considerably more expensive than other smart phones. On the other hand, this phone is available on a contract at a much more reasonable price.
In terms of functionality the iPhone is very easy to use and has some great features including a camera and iPod functionality. The iPhone comes preinstalled with the appstore which I found ideal because it meant that I could have access to millions of apps right from my smartphone.
The touch screen has the perfect sensitivity and is of a very high resolution. I found this to be particularly great when looking at websites, viewing photo and even using cover flow. The high screen resolution really does improve the whole experience of using the iPhone.
The screen also has a momentum feature which is great when viewing webpages in order to allow more easy and effective scrolling of various webpages.
The iPhone comes preinstalled with other apps such as Mail, Calendar, Maps, SMS, Phone etc which are all very easy to use and delivered through an outstanding high resolution and touch screen.
In terms of aesthetics the phone is in my opinion second to none with a sleek black look with a chrome surround. In addition, the iPhone is very comfortable to hold in the hand and the contour fits the natural hand shape.
The 8GB of memory may be too small for some people if they have large photo/music collections etc.
Overall, the iPhone is an outstanding smartphone which really is revolutionary - I would highly recommend it.

A great quality set of speakers that are an ideal addition to any multimedia setup highly recommend!

The Bose Companion 3 Series II speaker system really is a great addition to any PC multimedia setup and I would highly recommend it. I originally bought this product from Amazon for around £170 which when compared with other Logitech PC multimedia speakers which retail for around £30-£50 is remarkably expensive. However, I was drawn to this speaker system through my own positive experience of Bose products and through word of mouth. Whilst they are very expensive in relation to other similar products the quality and the 'Bose experience' is really second to none and makes the initial purchase well worth the cost.
In terms of design the Bose speaker system really does have in my opinion an edge over most speakers given its sleek and simplistic design which its elegantly onto a desk. The black and silver contrast really does fit universally I found to most backgrounds.
In terms of the sound quality the speakers really are just fantastic and in my opinion are unrivalled. The clarity is just excellent and the speakers have a deep rich tone which helps to enhance the overall audio experience greatly. I found that the speakers were absolutely ideal when watching movies, playing games or just simply listening to audio. I also found the speakers to be really powerful which for me was a really important factor when purchasing speakers.
The speakers also come with a multi-function control pad which made it really easy to plug in an iPod or other sound input device. I really did find the speakers very easy to use and they were also very easy to setup which was a real bonus.
Overall, a great quality set of multimedia speakers which are a worth addition to any PC/MAC setup - I would highly recommend them!

A great iPod speaker dock which serves Bose's reputation well - highly recommend!

The Bose SoundDock Digital music system really is the ideal counterpart to anybody looking for a new speaker dock for their iPod. I was drawn to this product having been recommended it by a friend and having had a good experience with other Bose products. I wanted a quality speaker dock that would really enhance my audio experience when listening to my iPod and the Bose SoundDock really delivered that. On that basis alone I would really recommend this product.
I bought it for £194 from Amazon which compared with other iPod sound docks which retail typically for under £50 i very expensive. However, I knew that I was buying the quality of a Bose product and having used the SoundDock for over two months now I was really glad I chose to spend the extra money on a quality iPod dock such as this.
The sound quality of this product is just incredible and is everything that you could expect from Bose - it really is second to none and in this respect is well worth the money. The speakers are rich in sound and have a deep base tone together with a high treble helping to provide the perfect audio experience. I really felt that the SoundDock gave my music justice!
The SoundDock itself is very sleek and stylish in a black and silver finish which looks great on a desk etc. It also comes with a small but stylish remote which is very functional. I found that it really helped to improve the overall navigation of the iPod and made it much easier to use when attached to the dock itself.
Overall, this really is a great iPod speaker dock which provides unparalleled sound quality, great design and functional use coupled into one product. On that note alone I would highly recommend this product.

A great counterpart to an iPod - highly recommended!

The Bose SoundDock really is an incredible speaker set which I thought is truly the ideal counterpart for any iPod! I decided to buy the Bose SoundDock primarily because of Bose's reputation for quality of sound engineering and through general word of mouth. I bought this product for around £200 from Amazon which did not seem like too bad a price for a Bose product! Having had it it for a few months now I an safely say that it is an incredible high quality speaker system and I would highly recommend it.
In terms of the style it has a sleek appearance and a slight curvature which really does help it to blend into any environment really. I found that my iPod Video 30GB and iPod touch look absolutely great when connected to the dock itself.
The Bose SoundDock also comes with a remote which I have found myself increasingly using! Its a great addition to the dock itself and really does add I found to the overall ease of use of the product. On that note, I found the dock very easy to setup - it was just a matter of plugging it in to the mains through an A/C adaptor and plugging in the iPod itself. The remote is really comfortable to hold and easy to use. However, it is quite small and I'm worried about losing it soon!
In terms of sound quality the speakers really are second to none in that respect and it really does help to enrich all types of music. I found the speakers to also be very powerful given its size and can easily fill a room. Overall, a great iPod speaker dock that I would highly recommend!

A great set of speakers that are a great addition to any computer setup - highly recommend!

The Bose Companion 5 set of speakers really are great and are an excellent addition to any computer setup! I bought these Bose speakers having been recommended by a friend to go alongside my macbook pro. They really have been nothing short of superb and I would really recommend them to anyone looking for a quality set of speakers.
In terms of design and aesthetics I found the sleek and streamline design to be really attractive on a desk and it really does blend in well to most office spaces. They also really look great alongside any mac computer and so in terms of aesthetics and design I would really recommend these speakers.
The speakers are not too big which I found to be quite useful as it meant that I could fit them onto my desk with ease. The sound quality from the speakers is also exceptional and I really was glad I bought them. When playing music, games or movies the sound quality from these speakers has been excellent and perhaps most importantly second to none.
The clarity and richness of the tone from the speakers really does just improve the overall computing experience. The speakers come with an all in one touch pod which makes it really easy to plug in an ipod or connect a computer etc to it.
The speakers run from a standard AC mains adaptor and the plug is a good length making it possible to have the speakers quite away from the mains socket itself. I found the speakers really easy to setup which was a real bonus. Overall, this is a great set of speakers which I would really recommend, however, the price of £200 when I bought them is really quite expensive.

A really great pair of Bose headphones but expensive!

The Bose Quietcomfort headphones really are in my opinion revolutionary in a number of ways. I decided to buy these headphones based on Bose's brand reputation for sound quality and general quality and they really haven't failed to disappoint!
In terms of the sound quality these headphones are absolutely superb and they are by far the best I have ever tried. I found that the deep base and high treble really did help to enrich whatever song I was listening to on my iPod be it classical or rock music. Considering that you primarily by headphones for the sound quality these headphones will most certainly deliver on that front I thought they were a great buy in that respect.
In terms of design and comfort I found the headphones to have a really sleek and streamline look with a crisp contrast between the black and the silver. The headphones are also very comfortable indeed which I found ideal when on longer journeys. The leather ear-cups and top band really did provide a mixture of comfort and support which I thought really did improve my audio experience.
The headphones when over your ears almost have a natural noise cancellation as they fit so well and so comfortably over the ears that it blocks out a lot of sound naturally. The headphones also came with an aeroplane adapter which I thought was really great for when going on holiday on a long flight.
Overall, these headphones really are absolutely great in terms of sound quality and design and comfort, however, they come at a price. I bought these headphones for around £270 from Amazon which is a lot of money to spend on headphones! However, I really feel that the headphones deliver a quality that is unmatched and for that reason alone would really recommend them.

A great pair of Bose ear-bud headphones - highly recommended!

The bose triport in ear headphones really are a great pair of in ear headphones! I bought these originally to use with my iPod in the hope that the sound quality would but amazing and it really was! I found that the sound was enriched greatly by whatever track I was listening to through the headphones. From classical to rock music the sound quality emitted from these headphones is just superb! The reputation of bose in terms of sound quality is by no means compromised by these headphones.
In terms of style I really loved the black streamline and sleek look which looks great as an addition to an iPod. Sadly, like the majority of headphones I found that the cable became easily tangled. This was one negative aspect of these headphones, if bose were able to develop a bluetooth version of these headphones that would be much better. These headphones are also not noise cancelling like the over-ear headphones but are able to block out 'outside' noise very well. I found this to be particularly useful when I was using the headphones in more noisy areas as I did not have to turn the volume up to full blast!
The headphones were £70 when I bought them which considering they are bose I thought was a reasonable price. However, compared with other earphones I do think that it is a lot of money to spend. Having said that the sound quality, design and style and just general ambiance of the headphones is exceptional and really is a great counterpart to the iPod. The headphones I found fit really well into my ears and it came with three different plastic ear adapters which allowed me to get the headphones to fit my ears perfectly - this really added to the comfort and overall quality of the headphones.
The headphones also came with a very stylish earphone case which is ideal for transporting them!

A truly great but expensive pair of headphones!

The Bose QuiteComfort 3 Noise Cancelling headphones really are top draw! They are by far the best pair of headphones that I have ever used in my life. However, such quality and brilliance is reflected in the price. I got the headphones for £292 from Amazon which is very expensive for a pair of headphones putting them out of reach for the average consumer. However, if you are someone who takes audio listening very seriously and has the money to spend I could not recommend these headphones more.
In terms of style the crome ear cups with the black rim really does look very sleek and stylish on the ears. The headphones are also incredibly comfortable to wear and the leather ear cups really do fit nicely onto the ear. I found this to be particularly useful when using the headphones for longer amounts of time. They also have a good amount of adjustability which is ideal if you have a slightly smaller or larger head as you can really adjust the headphones easily to get the optimum size for you. I found this great as it helped to improve the overall comfort.
Perhaps the best feature for me about these headphones is the fact that they are noise cancelling. I found this feature to be particularly great when on an aeroplane, train journeys and even in the car. They are able to filter out the noise very effectively which is just what you want.
The headphones have incredible sound quality which in my opinion is unparalleled. The headphones really do help to enrich the songs on my iPod and just make the whole listening experience so much better. It truly is a great counterpart to an iPod and someone who is really into their music!
Overall, this is a great pair of headphones which delivers everything you could possibly want, however, it is very expensive and I didn't like how they are not wireless as the cable can get easily tangled.
