It has to be the most common game in the Wii collection, free with most consoles. Don't dismiss it though just because its free, it is probably one of the best Wii games I've played. It has several choices of games from tennis to boxing to golf to bowling. Each game is very life like, for example the bowling involves everything real bowling involves, except maybe a little less weight in your hand!! This is great for all the family, even my parents will play this and have a blast. My personal favourite is the tennis, very life like as all the games and takes concentration and thought to keep winning. The game also incorporates a wii fitness test, you basicly go through sevral different game modes and depending how good you are rates your wii age. At times it can be difficult to keep it low but also a great challenge. To show how good this game is though, we had the wii with this game for 8 months before we bought any other games. It takes a while to get bored of it. I would definetly recommend playing it if you have it, and buying it if you don't yet.
If you've read any of my other reviews you'll realise I am in a Wii frame of mind!! Sadly enough I've only had this game for a about a month and really only bought it for the "free" remote that comes with it. Intially it is quite interesting and yet simple with a variation of different strange games. For example, who really doesn't want to race cows.......! just one of the strange mini games. But some are strangely entertaining, I like the target practice but as my wife will tell you I love the tanks. Its a simple game, you have a tank and you shoot varying different amounts of other tanks with better abilitys than yours on what seems to be a wood board. Sounds boring but can really frustrate you when trying to get more and more levels without being hit.... Ocupies me for a while anyway!! Don't be under any illusion though this is not meant to be a game that you spend a lot of time on, its just really to teach you how to use the remote and nunchuck efectively, in a fun way. So DON'T buy for the game, but if you need a new remote why not get the one with the game and have a little fun
Wow..... What happened in the gaming world, nintendo came out with the Wii and with it a revolutionary new controller. This provides the most versitile gaming experience I have ever had. The best points are as follows:
Very ergonomic, easy to hold onto especially with the silicone cover. Also has rumble feedback which brings the gaming experience right to the user. This is helped with the incorporated speaker which gives a all round sound experience, makes you feel like you are in the game you are playing. Very few buttons so not confusing at all, so easy to use its unbelivable. This is due to the motion sensor incorporated in the controller, so much of the use is now down to motion. You can actually use this like a racket in tennis, a steering wheel in mario kart, a golf club in golfing games. Nintendo is years ahead of all other competition with this invention. The only draw back that I can think of is that the silicone protective cover gets in the way after a while and you end up not using it. Other than that look around to find a good deal on it, sometimes can get it free with a game which is a bonus as the controller is quite expensive. Well worth the money though!!!!
This is one of a bunch of games I recently bought and absolutely loved!! Mario Kart has survived many different nintendo gaming platforms, each getting better as the years go on and this is no exception. The game has a variety of different circuits to start with, some which you'll recognize from previous years but also some new tracks. Don't worry this version is great improvment on all the others. There are many opportunities to unlock new tracks by winning different Cups, also you can unlock different cars or bikes which can be great fun and challenging to compete with. Also if you have the wii wheel, which you should get with the game, your control will be second to none, just like driving a real car. You are transformed into being part of the game. For all you internet gaming lovers out there this game doesn't let you down. It alows you to link to the internet and play other gamers online which is great fun, much better than playing just one or two friends or the computer!! Also if you don't want to play random people you can link up to your friends wii and play them even if they live on the other side of the world. I would definetly recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun.
I have had 2 different wheels now for a few months and I have to say the Genuine Nintendo one is the best. It was a great idea when the Nintendo Wii came out with the possibilty of all these extras, one being the wheel. The Genuine Wheel is a lot more ergonomic then compatible ones. The shape is easier to grip and the rear button is easier to press. having a wheel that has no wires is amazing for game control, you feel like you are actually in the game driving the cars or bikes (such as on Mario Cart). Plus with rumble feedback you get the feel of the terrain you are driving over futher increasing the gaming experience.
There is really nothing bad to say about this peace of genius from Nintendo, its so simple yet makes any racing game more enjoyable, if you are a gamepad junkie nows the time to try the nintendo wheel. U'll never go back!!
I bought this game because the commercial made it look like great fun! Unfortunately I was a bit disapointed, firstly most of the game is locked. You Have to unlock it by compleating games at a certain level, this can be quite hard and very time consuming. I have had the game for 8 months and I got bored trying to unlock some of the more interesting events. On the up side if you are able to unlock all the events you have a wealth to choose from. Including archery, 100 meter running, long jump, rowing, skeet and many, manymore. These are very realistic and can really tire you out.
The other downside is that if you enjoy compeating against other people online, you will find that this is not possible on this game. The only internet link up is to compare your statistics with others which isn't very interesting.
Overall I would only buy this game if it was cheap, I paid over 30 pounds for it and really regret it now.
I have read the different reviews on this site and so had give my experience. I joined this cash back site back in January due to the fact that I was taking out car insurance with elephant and they were offering £13.50 cash back. The problem was it didn't track at all, it showed that I clicked on it and that's it. I emailed after 2 months to the customer service after many attempts to contact them through their on-line chat which never worked. I got an email asking for all my details and that's the last I heard. When I went on the site it said that it had been turned down even though i bought the insurance and still have it. As I am a keen member of several cash back sites, the best being Quidco, I know how you make sure it tracks ect so I don't believe that they really want to pay that much out on this site.
Didn't have any good points to put, never got any money or even the basic customer service.
Don't bank on getting any money from this site, the website looks amaturist and that is what you get.
If you want a reliable cash back site try some of the main ones like Quidco.
last year I had the misfortune of buying a Samsung Fridge Freezer from this company. I ordered on the 21st of July because the company had a great deal on the model I wanted nearly £100 less than all the other stores. The problem was that it kept mysteriously getting lost after I ordered it. Initially I was given a delivery date which was confirmed right up until 11am that morning when I found out that it had got lost in transit. They blamed the manufacture for not delivering it to them, which Samsung disputed. Due to this they then had to reorder which took another 3 weeks, it also got lost in their warehouse this time and I was not notified until 6pm the night before it was due to be delivered. After much more constant arguing with appliances on-line I finally received my Fridge Freezer 2 and a half months after ordering it.
To be fair the company appeared very helpful and I was given direct numbers to a manager after the second mess up with the order. Also I was given a £100 discount on the order which went some way to making up for the inconvenience but that was all they would do which was quite annoying due to the time period of delay and cost of the item.
Overall this company is very good for giving you a very good price. Also their customer services is ok.
Down sides are that I experienced severe delays, which upon further investigations on the internet does seem to be fairly common with this company.
My advice would be to buy elsewhere, pay a little more and save the stress that could come from ordering from a solely on-line company which only acts as a middle man and all the problems that this entails.
My wife and I flew with Air France in Economy, back in November 08 from California to UK, its an experience I wish to forget!!! From their promotional material we expected a good experience with decent levels of comfort and customer services. But this is what we found....
The Good Points first:
Well they were cheap, very cheap actually. We booked through a travel website and got a really good price.
Thats about all the good things I can think of and the fact we got back without crashing!
The Bad Points:
Firstly we booked about 6 months in advance but 3 weeks before we left they notified us that they would no longer be providing a non stop flight from Los Angeles to London, instead we would have to stop over in Paris increasing our travel time by 4 hours. No refund was offered and to be honest at that short time it wouldn't have done much good because getting another flight would have cost a lot. Also no apology or compensation for the trouble it caused. So bad customer services.
On top of this the plane we got was old and tattered.
On a long haul flight you at least expect movies on demand, but not on this Air France it had movies in a loop, you just had to pick it up when you could. Bad service for a long haul flight.
The food was also very bad, I have flown with plenty of different airlines, normally its quite good but the food provided with Air France was uneatable!!
Finally they failed to take the visa waiver document (from the USA) out of my Passport when checking in for the flight resulting in months of chasing and letters to USA immigration to prove I had actually left the country. All airlines are supposed to remove the visa waiver when the customer checks in before they get their tickets....
So overall my opinion would be if you want a cheap flight remember what you get is going to be basic, but if you fly with Air France it will be several levels below basic.
Good Customer service and entertainment are standard on most airlines but not on all Air France Flights
I got my LG Viewty as a gift and I love it. It looks great and is perfect for people who like to have things no else does, you don't see many other people with it. It is also very smart and easy to navigate. The 5 mega pixel camera is excellent and it has all the trimmings of a normal camera. Screen clarity is perfect so even when pictures are transferred on to the computer the pictures look just a detailed. I was unsure of the touch screen at first, I thought I would have to press hard but when you turn it on the first time a program has you touch different symbols on the screen so it is sensitive your natural touch and you can alter the touch sensitivity later if you need to. The MP3 player is quite impressive and doesn't phase out if you drop it or if your running like some phones do. Texting can be difficult if your used to buttons but it doesn't take long to learn. Although I wouldn't recommend using the hand writing program, it doesn't seem to recognize symbols or letters. Also the phone doesn't scratch or chip very easily so it can take a beating. Over all I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clever phone similar to the Iphone. But definitely try out a touch screen phone before you buy as some people do find it frustrating.
I'd never used any self tan products before and I'd heard all the different theory's on how to get an even tan so I thought this might work. I got the Shimmer one for fair to medium skin as I have very fair skin and I didn't want to look I'd just got back from the Bahamas. I was very unimpressed, after a couple of days drier areas like my knees and elbows looked orange and bruised but there was no visible colour any where else. So I tried putting moisturiser on my elbows and knees just before the Dove self tan lotion, I used it for three weeks and never looked any tanner except, I was quite glittery. Also the bottle is quite cheap, all the lettering started flaking off. After several recommendations I am now using Dove Summer Glow (without shimmer) for medium to dark skin and I am starting to see results with it. The lettering hasn't come off that one yet. Both made my skin very soft and it's non greasy so dries quickly, and I never noticed any transfer on my clothes either. You get 250 ml in a bottle but it only last around a month. I would recommend it to some people who have Benzyl allergy as my skin is very sensitive and I never noticed a problem.
I love these, they are absolutely excellent. They add a lot of femininity, the tins are very sexy and although they're not very discreet you don't mind people seeing them because they're so cute. When you buy a packet you get two recyclable tins with 12 liners in each. Although not as wide a range as the bigger brands, Moxie has excellent alternatives for most occasions. Practicality wise they're perfect, very thin so you really hardly feel them, not like other liners that you supposedly don't notice. You also get a very fresh and clean feeling, they are super absorbent so no diaper feeling. Even the actual liners are quite decorative. The shape is perfect for catching everything including odd leaks. I really don't think there are any down sides, except a little more expensive than other liners and only seem to be available at Superdrug at the moment but well worth the money. They definitely make a very uncomfortable time a lot more classy and enjoyable, I personally would never go back.
I have had this printer for a while now and I can say its the best one I ever have had. The plus points are that you can get photo quality prints in minutes straight from your digital camera, has a slot for most memory cards or you can link through a cable or through your computer. It is quiet and quick but most of all reliable, i have never had any trouble with it despite using it on a daily basis. The downsides are the fact that original cartridges cost a small fortune (though which company doesn't charge far too much for their cartridges), the plus side is that there is a wealth of compatible ones that can be bought for a fraction of the cost. As a side point in 3 years all I have used is compatible cartridges with this printer and have never had any trouble. The other downside is that it doesn't have an LCD screen so editing and printing individual pictures are better done on your computer. But the upsides far out way the down sides.
We bought this Microwave about 7 months ago and it was a great buy. The black shiny casing is classy and funky, stands out in the kitchen as you would expect. Saying that it shows up dust and finger prints very easily! The inside is large which is a plus and apparently has some sort of new technology that works more effectively than normal microwaves, all that I can say is that it works very well and is quiet as well. The only problem I have with it is that though there is a wealth of different temperature settings, for frozen, one touch settings ect, it is difficult to get exact times with the timer dial. It will only recognize 10 second intervals and skips about easily, so for example getting 2 minutes 30 seconds can take some fiddling.
If you want an expensive looking microwave for half the cost I would recommend this as a winner
