I use these at work and find that they are considerably better than the single ear piece version, the reason for this is i work in aloud call centre environment.
I have only recently switched from my single ear piece setup and can say the sound quality is a lot better, maybe that is due to the surrounding noise is not a distraction as much now. They fit my head comfortably and are adjustable to suite most size heads. The foam on the ears is nice and soft and doesn't become to uncomfortable whilst wearing them for a long period of time.
The headset is also nice and light which is a bonus.
Hygeine is catered for with the Plantronics headset as the mouth piece microphone is removable and you can buy replacements cheaply.
It is vital with these headsets that you use the mouthpiece extension as the sound quality is loads better and plenty loud enough, without it it can be hard to hear what you are saying.
Oh and make sure you adjust the mouthpiece to be right in front of your mouth.
We bought this last year when we moved into our new house and had some good use out of it. It was definatley a novelty item which we dont use much now.
To make a good cup of coffee though is easy and the flavour is so much better than rubbish instant. I actually use starbucks beans and the syrups. The time it takes to make a pot of coffee is very short only a couple of minutes and it can last for ages as you have the hotplate.
The milk frother is ok but can cause problems when you have the heat plate on the milk jug and spill some milk as it burns on, however being a non stick surface it will easily wipe off.
The system is easy to clean and easy to get the measures right as it has a guide and it says the measurements on the side of the jug.
I got this as a present as i asked for a small mp3 player. This is definatley that, it is really tiny and you do not notice in your pockets. I use this at the gym or in the garage when using the punch bag so it is real handy to have the locking feature so my movement doesnt skip the track.
For functionality it is quite basic which is fine for what it is, i would maybe after having this like one a bit more packed with features.
The buttons dont feel great and can be difficult to know whether you have pressed it correctly or not. the menus are basic and the screen is ok, i would prefer a better resolution and a bigger screen but that would not be an mp3 player in this range so i cant hold that against it.
I would recommend this as a first mp3 player probably better for kids where it wont be wasted money if they only use it once then never again.
I use this software for making dvd videos which is really easy to use, there are several ways of doing it. I find Nero Vision best as it is really user friendly and simple to use which is ideal.
The price of this is also very good and even better when you get the oem version which can be bought if you buy computer hardware.
It would be nice if there was a way to hardcode subtitles in to the films as it can be a pain doing it on the five other bits of software i have.
Overall i would definatley recommend Nero 8 for anyone who has a collection of media and would like to make movies picture dvds. There is also a nero version of media centre which is really quite good, not sure if i would say it is better than the windows version but it is good especially if you have a tv card or 2 as you can record your tv shows on to your hard disk and watch whenever you like, plus by doing this you can always add more or bigger hard disks to ensure you wont have to delete it, which for me the hoarder is great!!
I bought this card to replace and upgrade from the 9800gt from xfx, i thought i would risk it although there is not fundamenatlly much difference apart from a dual slot cololer. How wrong was i! The card is a dual slot card but the fan provided on this card is millions better than that on the 9800gt which will benefit all overclockers out there, i overclocked mine after a straight swapout with my 9800gt and the score previously was around 12500 and went up to over 14000 which is a big jump and still the fan was quieter than the 9800gt.
The price of these cards now are cheap and you should look out for a bargain as they perform really well, the packaging as usual from xfx is great really reassuring that they don't want the item damaged and that it is something special, the software package is good and user friendly however i use rivatuner for overclocking it.
The increase in demand from the power supply could incur extra costs but if you are upgrading from a card similar to the 9800gt you should be ok.
I will definatley recommend this card however the way graphics card producers go there is probably now a card twice as fast and half the price so shop carefully.
I bought this item over a year ago from PC world and at the time i was slowly modifiying my pc for higher performance, the computer was a P4 3.6ghz so i replaced the motherboard and refitted the cpu and installed the graphics card.
The performance difference was amazing, i now had the ability to play high graphics games and the cpu was all that was holding back.
After having the graphics card a while i found out i could overclock it. This reaped big rewards and the difference in the 3dmark score was over 1500. I think my score in total was about 12500 with a bottom of the range dual core cpu.
I would thoroughly recommend this graphics card if you are on an old system, be warned you power supply must be up to spec as it can require a lot of juice especially if you overclock it . Dont be afraid of overclocking this either as long as you monitor the temps correctly you will have no problems, i found the only restriction with this card was the single slot fan which is noisy when you overclock and turn it up to keep temps down, however there are a range of aftermarket fans that work well with this and are easy to fit and cheap.
