So i was looking for a new foundation and really wanted to try this one out (the adverts pulled me in), now ill start with what i think are the bad points to this foundation. it feels extremely thick on the skin so for a summer foundation this is a big NO NO! it also has a yellow undertone so is not very build-able as it turns a slight shade of orange :( i wasn't born that color so i don't want to be that color in my opinion, it is also an oil based foundation and with me having combination skin and being relatively oily around my T-zone it makes me break out a lot :(. Now for the good points (for other skin types dry/dry-normal/normal) if you have dry skin this is going to be a lot better for you than me, dry skin is MISSING oils from the face so a foundation that is oil based will help even out the skin type, making the foundation last longer (not that it needs to) and giving you a healthier glow, there is no doubt that this lasts a long time (and i mean a long time) i think the longest I've had it on is about 18-20 hours slight wear off but most of it was still on (this may not happen with dry skin users) so i was pleased, why you'd want a foundation that lasts 25 HOURS I'd never know, unless your a doctor/nurse working a double shift etc. so my overall review is that its a good product if only they brought out a water based version for us people with oily patches :D
thanks for reading this review
Well where do i start, i received this phone as a present for Christmas 2010, i was made up to begin with, seemed to have everything i wanted in a phone (I'm not fussy when it comes to phones) it worked brilliantly and then it came to about March/April and it seemed to develop a few problems so for about two weeks i had no usable phone, it didnt receive text messages, or it would show them blank, phone calls went funny, i couldn't see my contacts, the list goes on so i took it to a mobile phone repair shop where they claimed that this had happened in a lot of these models and they weren't sure how to fix it ( a mobile phone repair shop didn't know how to fix my phone,,, ironic really) so i tried a number of things, the whole taking it apart putting it back together again, and then finally MASTER RESETTING the phone, that actually seemed to work, although i lost all my contacts, pictures, videos, music etc. which annoyed me to no end. i still have the
phone now and it hasn't broken again (yet) so it ended well for me although I've heard that some of these phones are not reparable I'm unsure of the price of this phone but i don't think it is too expensive, I would say around £30-40, and if it is more it's really not worth the money.
thank you for reading this review, good luck searching for the perfect phone for you :D enjoy your day
to start of my hair grows out and not down ( pain in the bum :( )
well my hair was growing out and i hate going to the hair dressers so i thought id get my self some straightners, and being on a budget i was looking for decent yet cheap ones.
i went home that night to test them out and thought they were really good! my hair reacted well to them and they became my saviour of hair.
ive had them for about 2 years now and they still going great, so i would say they are durable, yet there are a few problems with them, but not big ones.
As they were my first pair of straightners i didnt realise that 5 minutes was a long time to wait for them to heat up, after seeing what my friends GHD's could do i realised that it was a very long time to wait, but i live with it. Another is you cant really choose the heat setting, its either on or off :S, and being off would obviously do nothing for my hair. my last problem is leave them on for too long and the outside ( around the ceramic plates) gets extremley HOT! and can make it difficult to straighten but like i always say nothing is perfect. Well not to me anyway.
the price of these straightners when i got them was £14.99 reduced from £19.99 yet i cant exactly remember where i got them i think it was asda or boots? i think 2 years + is very good for these and would recommend them for back up straightners ( which i use them for now) incase the "good" ones happen to fail on me, or if a friend stays over, they could use them instead of sharing??
Overall these are a good pair of straightners for people on a small budget, or for one-off straightning.
thank you for reading this review. :D stay well
I absolutly love Ebay for my little things like phone cases, screen potectors and just general things like that?. and although i know of many people who buy electricals, yet i just prefer to see what im buying rather than seeing it from a photo ( this is just my opinion there are many people who buy "bigger" products successfully") just make sure you read the whole advert on there page.
one of the first products i bought was a phone case and screen protecter and this is where i absolutly love this site, as it saves me and other people so much money on things like these. And the service is really good in regards to enquirys and returns which i was very impressed as i have had problems with similar (unpopular) websites where ive been stuck with something i didnt want.
This site has everything you can imagine, and is good if you want to save a few quid :) thats all i really have to say thanks for reading this review. crown me x (joke)
I recently bought this phone as my other lg viewty smart was stolen so i wanted a quick replacement and this happend to be it. a great little phone that does everything a phone should. call and text. luckily i already have a mp3 and camera so i wasnt bothered about not having the "gadgets" on this phone.
I have found it the simplest of phones to use in a long time and it took me about 5 minutes to learn where everything is. I bought this phone for £14.99 which is a pretty reasonable price yet i didnt really want to spend that much as i had to pay £500 to cancel my contract ( always get insurance with those things it literally saves your life in cases like these) but still a good price all the same.
It has everything i need from the alarm clock, calculator and even a FLASH which i was impessed with. Its extremly easy to add contacts, set time and date, and would be brilliant as a childs first phone.
thank you for reading my review i like this phone and im sure you will too :D
After trying the Rimmel stay matte mouse and disliking it alot i thought i would see what the hype was all about with the dream matte mousse. the packaging in very similar between the both yet there is a substantial difference between the two products.
Stay matte mousse has more of a liquid foundation feel rather than a mousse whereas Dream matte is exactly what it says on the pot. a mousse.
Although people have said it can dry out i have not seen any drying of the product and have had it 9 months ( i dont wear makeup every day) and am still content with the product.
I dont like applying makeup with fingers just for hygiene so i tried sponges.. these didnt work for me, so i thought i would give a brush a try. This for me worked perfectly and doesnt consume too much of the product where fingers would. i just used a full face brush and it blends really well, set with some powder foundation and done.
The only problem i do have with this product is that it only lasts around 7 hours but i am still sticking to this one as im not a big fan of liquid foundations as they make me break out. another thing i have found is that it makes a good base for eyeshadow to emphasise the colours, so i have a foundation and a base all in one.
one more thing i like about this product is the price at just £6.50 it is really affordable :D makes my life that little bit more simple
thanks for reading this review any questions just ask
well i got this camera as a gift and i was made up as it was my first digital camera, i was amazed at how light and compact it was. the picture quality is really good and so is the video. however editing videos can be a pain so i stick with microsoft editor as i findd it easy.
this is great as a first camera and really good as a gift. my mum who bought me this went out and eventually bought herself the same camera in pink (mines black) i believe you can also get it in silver. the different features are brilliant and the flash is really handy as some cameras ive seen dont have one.
i still have my camera 3 years on and i still love it, im now using it for my youtube videos aswell....taska247 if you wanted to see the quality.
it can also be saved as HD whilst editing which i didnt know about until a few backs.
like i said i recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent 1st camera. thats all i really have to say. great camera great price
I got this product as a christmas present from my mum!
In my opinion this is one of the best presents i have ever had! Its really really simple to use and all the features are really good. We recently got WiFi in my home which was a god send with this device as instead of using my laptop i could use this which happened to be quicker especially with facebook and Twitter e.t.c.
It really inspired me to buy an iphone which i am now saving for as its exactly the same but with the ability to call and text! The apps are AMAZING with such a wide choice for everyones taste my favourite is Angry Birds :D its one of those addicting games and now available on the iPAD.
This device is perfect for a gift for anyone whether it be for a birthday or christmas or any other reason, its sure to please anyone of any age. The only thing i would advise it to get one with a high memory as 8GB doesnt hold too much ( i have a lot of music and films).
The i tunes store and App store are already installed on the device ( and a few more essentials) and are extremely handy for buying music, videos, films and apps. obviuosly!.
I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high quality mp3/4 player and is willing to spend that little bit extra but it is worth every single penny.
I bought this product as i needed something to help my hair be even more protected as heat protectant wasnt doing the job that well on its own! i just bought the sample size from Boots for £1.79 ( or around that) and tried it out.
It says to leave in for 2 minutes but i left it in a little longer, rinsed it out, i couldn't feel much difference, whilst it was drying so i was a little disappointed, however when i began to straighten my hair, i could see some difference and was a little impressed, however as i have dry hair i only wash it once every 3 days so my hair doesnt dry out, after using this product a 2nd time i still didnt see any sort of improved development from the first time i used it.. leaving me dissatisfied.
When the bottle ran out i thought i may give it one last try so i bought another (travel&trial) bottle, still not much difference, now maybe it just wasnt right for my hair but my hairdresser has said that she has seen clients with worse hair than mine and it has reduced the look and feel of the damage a lot more, so maybe it just wasnt for me :(, one product i do reccomend buying is their spray heat protection now that worked for my hair :D.
One thing i do enjoy about these productss is the "travel and trial" bottles from Boots, as i hate having products in the house that i am never going to use, so to have these versions i dont feel as bad throwing them away, and they are reasonably priced at around £1.50-£2.00 and offers like 3 for 2 are always on in that particular store, and if you have one of the £5 off Boots vouchers these could easily fit into a budget
Don't knock it till you've tried it though, cause it may work for you.
I cannot believe i am the only male to write a review on this product if i am wrong let me know!
Well it all started when i bought my first Aussie Leave in conditioner, i loved it so i thought id try some more Aussie stuff out ( i am now obsessed like a crazy person :D) I went to my local Boots to have a gander at the Aussie products avaiable and cam across the 3 minute miracle reconstructer ( deep conditioner for damaged hair..safflower oil..they have mint one aswell apparently) anyways, when i buy stuff like this i HAVE to use asap, i just get too excited, so i go home and wash my hair then put the reconstructer on,,, now the smell i really really like but some people may not its all personal preference, but it does smell good :D. The consistancy of the product is nice and thick which means for me it will last longer, although i can go overboard at times, anyway i left this on for the full 3 minutes as my hair was a bit distressed from all the blow-drying and straightening but you can leave it in for (1-3 minutes depending on how much of a treat it needs! I DO NOT RECOMEND LEAVING IN ALL NIGHT YOU DO NOT GET THE SAME RESULTS), when i rinsed the product out i could feel the difference already, nice and smooth and no tangles.
I was a bit dubious about blow-drying and straightening my hair incase it cancelled any of the results out, but i went ahead anyway, now i could see the difference, my split ends looked a lot less wild than they did before and my hair had a nice glossy ( not greasy) shine to it.
For anyone wanting to try this product i STRONGLY recommend getting a £0.99p sachet from the local Boots, Superdrug or pharmacy as in other reviews it has not worked so well.
I swear by this product and am currently trying the TAKE THE HEAT range ( its amazing although no point trying it if you dont use heat, as all the products have heat protection in). Aussie has been a saviour to mine and many other peoples hair, and I recommend trying this company to Everyone. Even a man needs a good conditioning from time to time.
Enjoy this product I do :)
I recently bought this product from Boots as it was on one of thos 3 for 2 offers so i thought id give it a try, I'd used different mouthwashes previously but to be completely honest none of them compared to this one! It honestly leaves my mouth feeling SUPER clean afterwards, where others had just made it feel ok, I'm very concious about my teeth and their cleanliness as a smoker and find that this product keeps them as white as possible. One problem I find is that it leaves my mouth very dry for about 30 seconds afterwards yet it literally lasts for 30 secs. I am totally in love with this product and cannot see myself going back to the old ones i used to use "back in the day". Another thing I tested was giving my teeth a quick rinse with this before brushing and for my teeth this actually whitens them even more than using it after brushing, i now use this product twice when i brush my teeth and the feel of them are AMAZING ive never felt anything like it... try for yourself. I understand like any other product, what works for one person may not work for another, but you may aswell try, you've got nothing to lose. The company also have miniture versions of this product which last about 10 washes that you may want to try before buying the larger bottles. I only recommend these as i hate having a product in the house that I'm never going to use. I strongly recommend people at least trying this product. ENJOY!
