I had heard about this cream from a family member and was a bit suspicious about its claims. When I heard how expensive it is, I though 'No way am I going to try this!'. I could spend all that money and find that it was just as good as a much cheaper cream. Not So!! I happened to be shopping in Boots and was approached by an Oil of Olay representative who offered to analyse my skin. Still very suspicious (well they were never going to tell me that my skin was perfect and not try to sell me their product now were they?) i went ahead with the procedure. It took about 5 seconds and I was pleasantly surprised. Although they did show me a printout of my predicted skin condition in 5 years if I did NOT use a skin product. She gave me a few free samples and I have since used it ever day. It really feels lovely!! It makes my skin feel like it was just desperately waiting for this cream. It's not greasy and is easily absorbed into the skin. I have since bought this cream (Full size and perfumed) and I will use it every day. You don't need to use a lot of it so it works out quite economical. Had I not been approached in the shop and given a sample of this cream, I WOULD NEVER HAVE TRIED IT AS IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE.
My youngest daughter read this book when she was six years old and I think it is largely responsible for her being the avid reader that she is today. We read this book together, a chapter per night and found that on the one hand she was desperate to continue with the book, as she got nearer the end she wanted to slow donw because she didn't want it to finish!! to me, this must be the whole objective of any author. The story was silly, funny, sad and utterly ridiculous, which was why she loved it!! I have two older daughter who have read this book and all three agree that this book was what started them off on the wonderous journey of reading. Charlie is a great character only outshone by the characters of his grandad and Willie Wonka. The journey into the factory is straight out of our childrens imagination. Roahl Dahl is a wonderful author and all my children have read just about every children's book that he has ever written. But, it all started with Charlie and his Chocolate Factory!!
I have tried a few Internet Service Providers and I must say that after using Freeserve for only about 1 week, I am NOT impressed. So far, it has been soooooooo slooooooow. What is all this rubbish about logging you out after two hours!! Unbelievable!!! If all the others Interet Service Providers can manage to keep you online for as long as you wish to stay, why can't freeserve manage it? Another thing that I don't like it this idea that you have only one e-mail address per family. What is that all about? We were with bt internet before and my husband, myself and my 10 year old daughter had our own address. We decided to change to Freeserve because for the same amount of money (£10 per month) instead of free evening and weekend internet service with bt, we can access the internet 24 hours per day and 7 days per week with Freeserve. If I could find another provider that offered me the same as Freeserve I would try it in a hearbeat. Don't like Freeserve, don't like the home page, JUST DON'T LIKE IT We tried AOL on the 10 hour free tril and it was excellent. No server problems No logging off after two hours!! Nothing!! It was brilliant but............ why pay 1p per minute off peak and 4 p per minute peak time (even for a better service) when for £10 we can get as much time as necessary. If AOl went free or similar, I WOULD GO WITH THEM IN A HEARTBEAT.
We got our Kodak DC215 digital camera free with our Personal Computer and obviously was not chosen for our needs specifically. Normally, when you are purchasing something of this nature, we would try and inspect all the various digital cameras that are available in our price range. This was not thie case here. However, once we got the time to try out this product, we were pleasantly surprised!! We were thinking.............free...........must be rubbish then. They on earth are they giving it away for if it is any good. We first tried it out on Mother's Day this year. The whole family, children, husbans, grandchildren, etc all went out to the local golf club to have lunch. We took many photos and they ALL came out excellent. I was surprised at how easy this camera is to operate. It is so simple. I though digital camera..........difficult camera!! Not so. It has the small screen to see what you are viewing and once you get used to the few seconds delay in actually taking the phot, it was a piece of cake. When we downloaded onto the Pc, the photos were really good. It was so easy to download that my 10 year old daughter does it now. Obviously the printing quality depends on your printer also, but we found it to be good. One suggestion I would make is when you are downloading onto PC, it is advisable to use a mains adapter as it does tend to run the batteries down. This is also true for when you use the video screen a lot. There is a choice of quality settings and we found that apart from very, very special occasion when you would want the quality to be absolutely spot on, you can leave the setting on 'Good' and it really is good enough for everyday prints. When you have the Setting on 'good' you get 27 photos. when it is on 'better', you get 20 and on 'best' you get 12. Not Bad.
This is an excellent website. I defy anyone to visit a few times and not be addicted. There are various games that you can play: bingo, catchprase, trivia, arcade games, puzzles and much much more. Whilst you are playing these games, you can chat to other gamers. They are all very, very friendly and will help you out if you get stuck. they have there own language with they are very willing to share with you so you don't feel left out. Friendship are soon struck up. As if all this wasn't enough, there is money to be won!! What more can you wish for. Some games can bring larger financial rewards than others, but it is very, very addictive. I enjoy this site as does my 10 year old daughter. At the moment I am having trouble keeping her off the computer just to visit this site. Give it a go!! You will love it!!
This is fine for people who have not got a personal computer. Everyone has a television, right? So everyone can have e-mails!! Easy!! This service is excellent because it's for free, it works with limitations and is a simple means of communication. this is perfect for people who have a phobia about computers. Especially the elderly who have perhaps just got used to the video recorder! It's limited of course because you can only send text messages but is an excellent way to keep in touch with older children perhaps at university. Grandparents can keep in touch with grandchildren, and other family members. This way of communication can still work out a lot cheaper than a phone call. So.....if you don't want or can't afford a PC and you want to communicate with others via e-mail, this is as good a way as any!!
Spyro and Spyro 2 are harmless fun. Excellent for children but you will find older players will be having a pretty long trial too. The good thing about Spyro for kids is that it he is easy to move and it's not too difficult to collect the gems. Spyro 2 is a bit more difficult as there are different things to collect and you have to win an event to collect them. Children will need a hand with this. this is a good game for young children and adults will find that they are playing it themselves. If you want a gripping game, don't buy this. If you want a game with easy rewards for your children, then this is the game for you/
my 10 year old daughter said "It was spectacular". We had heard so much bad publicity, we didn't know what to expect. It is a lot to take in in on day, so we didn't even try. Missed about 4 zones although we spent the whole day there. Food was accetable. The helpers were brilliant. They were all so helpful and you really felt that they wanted you to have a good visit. Nothing false or forced about them. After we visited the body zone and saw the show, we already felt that we had had our monies worth. Anything else was a bonus. Some of the zones were so much fun and others were quite intense and hard to take in after all the other zones. Feel that more than one visit is required. Perhaps one full day and on evening visit would suffice. You could rush around and fit it all in but each zone merits a good time spent there and we felt that we should savour each zone. It's a lot of walking, so perhaps too much for very small children unless in pushchairs. But still probably too much for very young children to take in. Timekeepers zone was excellent and if you time the visit to that zone correctly, it let's the children let off a bit of steam. There are lots of experiences that you will have at the dome that will not be mirrorred anywhere else in the world. And remember........ it is only here for 1 year. What a Waste!!1 I hope some company buys it and we can continue to visit it for years to come.
