First of all i would say its one step better than its predecessor. Advantages include its dual-core A5 chip which increases the speed dramatically and reduces your time of waiting...Waiting for example for a webpage to load due to the sheer amount of tabs to open. Reducing the amount of times it freezes on you. I noticed on the first ipad it would freeze and then the app or w/e would shut down and return to the home page. Meaning if i was working on a project i had to save my progress regularly. By regular i mean very often. On my new Ipad i fin that it rarely crashes meaning my work is immensely more efficient. Disadvantages aka the BAD include the low battery life, however there are certain measure you can take to increase battery life. These minor inconviences seem like nothing at first but you have bought this device with your hard-earned money there expected a certain-level of quality. The low battery life problem i countered with carrying a portable battery attached to the ipad therefore it remains in "charging" mode. On a final not i would not recommend watching TV shows, movies or playing games in the dark. Due to its nice retina display i have been led to believe it damages your eyes even further. Due to the higher contrast difference between the ipad the the background settings/environment. If you want to know further info and detail into my ipad please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks for reading, i hope this was of some help to you. If not then please email me above on how i could improve on my reviews and help the reader gain better knowledge with fewer words. :)
Wow is all i can say for a laptop of this quality to last for so long. So far this laptop has gotten me through some tough times over the past few years and even though technology around me is still advancing my vaio still manages to keep up. I have the silver coloured version of this laptop. Advantages of this laptop include its ability to act as a cheap gaming console. I love to play MMORPGs such as RIFT and TERA and frankly i was surprised that a "non-gaming laptop" such as this one, was able to cope with the high demands of playing those high-quality, high end games. Furthermore my laptop was able to render graphic quality settings of 7/10 on rift and 6/10 on Tera...Not bad eh... In addition if you maintain this laptop ie Cleaning, removing unwanted debris, transporting with care (in a laptop bag) then this laptop will last for a long time. However i would not consider this laptop as completely reliable. Due to the fact that after 18 months of ownership, the battery failed therefore it was unable to charge up. Therefore as a device for transportation it was deemed useless after a while. Consequently i considered getting an Ipad; but i found it lacked the ease of use/ features that windows offered. Because if your acustomed to windows 7 although it isn't a great operating system its very easy to use, it may have a few bugs but it can be overlooked in my opinion as i am not a developer or anything. I would consider this laptop ideal for business. It seems to function as a headset requires. Nothing more nothing less. Advantages are that its quick easy to use and simple to setup. When playing online on my xbox 360 i find that sometimes the sound quality decreases in blips but otherwise i feel that this is a great product. Sound quality : 8 / 10. Ergonomic rating : 9 / 10 - very human friendly. However i found that wearing this headset for a long time caused a little bit of soreness / pain which then required me to remove the headset and take a rest for 5 / 10 minutes. Furthermore you can switch from left to right for your hearing ear. Downside is that you cannot hear with both ears, i found this optimal as i could also be involved in my surroundings therefore not completely immersed in gaming. However in the end i opted for the wireless headset as its even more easier to use although the complications in setting up the product seem slightly more complex. For an experienced gamer it was no problem. Even for beginners it should be easy to setup.
I have had my ipod touch 2g for 4 years now. If you are looking to buy a music device which can also play music videos then this by all means is the apple product for you. The music quality of the product is very good but i'm not sure whether this is because of my ipod or just headphones in general but after a while of using my headphones with my ipod the left ear headphone decreased in quality with time until all hearing functionality dissipated. Furthermore i use my ipod 2g as a pure mp3 player when i go running in the morning. I have found that even on numerous occasions when i have dropped my ipod it still seems to be working 100% barring a few scratches on the screen. However if you are buying this Ipod Touch 2G for its apps store downloads then you will be disappointed. As Apple stopped any upgrade capabilities past 4.0.3 ios. I realised that i wasn't able to download 95% of the apps i wanted on the app store. If you want an ipod which will be able to download all apps on the app store then the best option would be the 4g onwards. Music quality : 4/5. video quality : 3/5. Speed: 3/5. Overall :3.5/5.
Just finished my summer exams at college. Then decided to practise for UKCAT. People advised me to buy this book from my college and on forums such as StudentRoom.co.uk. Good for basic understanding. Abstract reasoning was my weakest area. Helped me improve my timing. Also gives tips per each sub-section. Recommend to buy the latest book as this year (2013) UKCAT is changing. Furthermore ratings for how helpful each section was towards my UKCAT. Quantitative reasoning: 6/10. Qualitative reasoning: just basic maths skills and applied with speed: 7/10. Abstract reasoning: 10/10 (other books increase difficulty compared to actual test therefore in some ways may be seen as a waste of time attempting abstract reasoning in other books.) Decision analysis: 8/10. The book includes a full mock test which helped me a little bit but i preffered using online methods to test myself as in the end the test will be computerised. However the length and type of questions seems to be quite accurate. I overall received an above average score of 670 on my UKCAT. I revised form this book for 2 weeks beforehand, no other books therefore it helps with basic understanding of text and structure of what you will be asked.
