I recieved this prodiuct as a free sample from one of the freebie websites. I have to say that overall I was impressed with this product. It was a light consistency and was easily applied to the scalp. I applied it as directed from the roots to the tips and I found that it lathered well, but not too much. It rinsed easily out of my hair; this prodict also smells lovely. When I blow dried my hair, it left my hair frizz free; feeling light and airy and my hair wasn't left feeling heavy or as if it had a residue left on it. Using this prouduct left my hair feeling nourished and moisturised; It left my hair very clean;yet it did not strip the oil out of my hair or mess with the moisture balance of my hair. This product is available from all good beauty retailers and supermarkets and is available in different sizes:200ml and 400ml. They are priced between:£2.55 and £3.99. Overall this product was a joy to use. Yet another trusted product brought to the consumer by Pantene. I found this too be a high quality product that is great value for money. I have recently gone out and bought a full size version of this product.

I have recently purchased this item on my weekly supermarket shop at Morrisons and I have to say I have been surprised by the high quality of this product. This product comes in white coloured packaging with a orange coloured lid. The orange coloured lid is to tie in with the honey ingredient that is used in this product.
This product is available in different sizes 250ml and a larger size of 500ml. Prices vary between £1.00 and £1.99. This product I have recently found out can be picked up anywhere from £1 shops and other beauty outlets at a very cheap price.
I used this product and it smelt gorgeous, I just wanted to use it over and over again. You can really smell the honey in this product. It left my skin feeling very silky and smooth and it gave me a great mood boost when I used in the shower before I went to work in the morning. my skin felt nourished and moisturised after I used this cream. The only criticism I can say about this product that if too much is used, it can leave a sticky residue on the skin and therefore must be rinsed thoroughly off the skin.
I first bought this product on a whim a few years ago, when it was released by Cussons as a limited edition. I have now been buying it for years and it must have been a success as it is now widely available in all beauty retailers and supermarkets. It is very good value for money; it costs normally £1.39 for 250ml from Boots. It is on offer at the moment for £1.
This product comes in a clear bottle with the Cussons Imperial Leather logo on the label on the front. The shower cream is a lovely cream colour and this can be seen through the clear packaging.
I found this product easy to use, it foamed well and it a little bit goes a long way. The shower cream is creamy and smooth and it left my skin feeling nourished, soft and clean. This product has various ingredients: green tea, which is known for its health benefits and that it is full of anti- oxidents. There is also rice milk to soften the skin and jasmine is also used in this product. The fragrance of this product is lovely and it leaves your skin soothed and fresh.
This prouduct is great for the whole family and for those with sensitive skin. It has been dermatalogically test, it has a friendly ph balance and therefore is not too acidic and it is 100% soap free: soap can have a drying effect on the skin. Overall this product is made to a high standard and is very good value for money. You would not normally expect such high standards for this price range.
After trekking around London in warm, humid weather my ankles and feet had swollen and were very painful, tired and heavy. I was walking along Oxford Street and stumbled across the Body shop and therein I found this magical product! It was presented in a clear bottle with the turquoise contents showing through. The product was labelled accordingly with the traditional Body shop label that explains what the product is. Part of the appeal is that the packaging is so simple and you can see what you are getting for your money. The product is available in two sizes: 60ml for £3 and 100ml for £5. From the instant I sprayed this product on my feet and ankles it relieved and refreshed them. The spray is very cooling and this helped the swelling to go down. The product smells of peppermint and this smell is lovely and refreshing and aids the overall effect of the product. This product contains menthol and this aids the cooling sensation. This product also contains glycerine which is used to moisturise the skin. This product is also great if you are ethically aware: the peppermint oil is provided by small scale farmers in Norfolk and buying this product helps there local community and business as well as knowing that they use environmentally friendly methods to produce this oil. Overall the product does what it says on the tin and left my feet feeling cool, and refreshed. It is a ethical product made to the highest standard and even though the Body shop can be a bit pricey, this product is worth every penny.
I bought this item as a treat with the £5 voucher I recieved from Boots; I have previously bought Ruby and Millie products and have found them to be of the highest quality standard and this eyeliner was fabulous! I bought the eyeliner for £4.50, but at full price it is £9.50, but worth every penny. The eyeliner is packaged in the clean, creamy white packaging which, is distinctive of this brand, with a silver coloured cap to protect the nib of the eyeliner pencil. The eyeliner is available in a variety of different colours: black, grey, brown, white, blue and green. There is a colour to compliment all skin tones and eye colours. The pencil itself is smooth and creamy and this aids easy application and enables you to draw straight and smooth lines to define and shape your eyes; this 'look' opens up your eyes and aids a dramatic look. The eyeliner can also be smudged to create a more informal look or to make the eyes have a smoky effect. This pencil is available from most of the larger Boots beauty retailers, a bit disappointed when I went into my local Boots in Blackburn and they did not stock these products, I have to buy Ruby and Millie products from their Preston store. This product is brought to you by a trusted and reputable brand and there products are of the highest standard
I have many years of experience of attending Blackburn college; I attended this college to complete a-levels and just recently to complete a higher education qualification. It has many plus points and many negative points. When I went to seek careers advice and seek information about a course I wanted to undertake, I found student services to be appalling! I went down and I stood at the reception desk and tried everything to get the attention of the staff who were only a foot away from me; they even looked at me and refused to acknowledge me. They were too busy discussing what they had done at the weekend and their social lives. This made me feel demoralised and I felt that they were exceptionally rude. I was already very nervous as I had been out of the education system for over ten years and I had taken a large step to go and talk to someone about a course. After about twenty minutes someone decided to come and talk to me; I was seated around the corner from the main desk and this careers advisor came to talk to me. She could not answer most of my questions about their teacher training qualifications and I left feeling degraded and misinformed. Later I found out she had given me the wrong price for fees, she had quoted me three times more than it would actually cost me. She also said that the college would give me a teaching placement to coincide with my teacher training course. Later I spoke to a course leader and I was informed that they only find full time course members a placement. Once again I felt disappointed and all my enthusiasm had diminished. I started my course and found this to be unorganised and too basic for a university credited course. I paid for a ten week course, but only had nine weeks becasue they had timetabled a week when it was half term holiday. I learnt very little and was given mixed messages about the career path I could take. I have now left college none the wiser and very confused. I feel that I paid £280 for nothing and feel that the college just wanted my money. When I enrolled I also had problems; the staff were rude and could not crack and smile and when I went to hand in my portfolio at the UCB desk; the staff there too had a 'not bothered' attitude and said they did not know what to do when students handed their work in! There was a lady on the desk talking to her friend on the phone and a man sat next to her who could not answer my questions. I gave them my portfolio and asked for a reciept, which they managed to produce. I worried for a few weeks that my portfolio would not reach my tutor; I only knew it did because I was informed that I has passed. The UCB centre looks stylish and modern and has a seperate library with good facilities; yet I feel that Blackburn college is going for a style over substance approach. I would rather have friendly staff, who know what customer care is and who can give me correct and consistent information. If I want to continue with teacher training I will not do it at Blackburn college; I will apply directly to the University of Central Lancashire and travel to Preston away from my home town of Blackburn.
I bought this product as part of an offer, two for £2 on the Radox wellbeing range from Boots. This product is normally priced at £2.05 for 500ml. Radox bubble bath comes in clear, plastic bottles that are a tall, rectangle shape and this particular fragrance of radox has a beige cap which matches the colour of the contents of the bottle. This product smells gorgeous and you can really smell the orange blossom oil in the product. This product has a creamy, smooth consistency and you don't need to use too much to get loads of bubbles. This cream bath leaves you feelig relaxed and calm and leaves your skin feeling moisturised and soothed. This product also contains white tea which is renowned for its health benefits and therefore there are natural anti-oxidants in this product. Overall this product is made to a high, quality standard which is due to Radox's 100 years of experience. The product leaves your skin nourished and your sprirts lifted. This product is very good value and I love it. There are other products available in the well being range, such as shower gel and the other wellbeing fragrance is green tea infusion and I recommend that as well.
I bought this product as I had been given a £5 voucher whilst shopping at Boots. This lip gloss comes in a variety of colours, I bought it in the lovely pink shade for £4.75. It is £9.75 if you don't have a voucher. There is a specific way to apply this product. Firstly one end of the product is the colour which you apply to your lip with a sponge applicator. I did not like how this colour made my lips dry and then with the other end of the product you apply a coat of the gloss with the brush provided. This left a colourful, glossy finish. The appearance of the gloss is attractive, yet it feels very sticky and my hair kept sticking to my lips and it was a real pain! This product has some plus points: it is hypo-allergenic and fragrance free, so that is great if you suffer from allergies or have sensitive skin. The product claims to last eight hours, I wouldn't know though as the product is so sticky and nasty, I often end up rubbing the stuff off! I will not be buying this product again and I certainly would not recommend people to pay full price for it!
I discovered in May this year that I suffer from coeliac disease and these sausages are a god send and they taste gorgeous. They are a really top quality sausage and cost £2.39 from most good supermarkets. I discovered them during my weekly shopping trip to Morrisons. They come in a variety of flavours: traditionial pork, pork and leek and pork, chive and onion. For those consumers who are ethically aware; the products are made using 100% freedom food pork meat. These sausages are great becasue they are not full of fat and they do not shrink in the frying pan. These sausages are wheat free, gluten free and dairy free and therefore they are great for people who have to or choose to follow a special diet. These sausages have won many awards: 2004, 2008 and 2010 Great Taste Awards Gold Winner. There are also other products from this brand: sauces, bacon, organic chicken to name a few. Overall these sausages taste great and are excellent quality brought to you by a ethical brand and I would recommend these sausages to everyone; not just to those following a special diet.
I am always on the hunt for a good quality foundation; when I saw this advertised it looked very promising. Through advertising and the packaging it gives the impression that this foundation is a light, sheer foundation that blends well with your skin tone that leaves a natural finish. When I used this product it was quite scary at first as it is a very dark colour foundation that comes out of the packaging and it has a smooth consistency, like mousse make up. When I applied it to my skin it was very light and fluffy and applied easily and absorbed well leaving you feeling as though you are not wearing any make up. It makes your complexion look healthy and evens out your skintone. The only criticism I have is that it did not match my personal skintone very well. I bought the light colour and it was too dark for my skintone and it seemed to have a very orangey effect on my skin. The product is available from Boots the retailer and costs £14.75. It is available in three tones: light, medium and dark. The packaging is a sleek black plastic tube with gold lettering on it, giving it a classic, designer feel. Overall I feel that the quality of this product is high and the texture of this product has a lovely consistency and a natural feel to it. However, it did not match itself to my skin tone very well, it does not do what it says on the tin and cannot be called 'intelligent colour foundation.' I believe it may work well for people who have any other skintone than fair or very pale. It will probably work well for those with medium, olive or dark skintones.
I first came across the Molton Brown brand when I stayed at the Grosvenor hotel in Chester. This is when my fascination began, I then went on to buy mini travel bottles from the brand so that I could try different fragrances. Through this travel pack I discovered my love of the Blissful Templetree range. The shower gel contains Templetree milk and mango oil and they leave the skin cleansed and the sea silk soothes the skin. This product intensley moisturises the skin and is very effective as an after sun skin soother. The product is very luxurious and the scent is gorgeous and uplifting. It is wonderful used at any time of day, especially in a morning as it always puts me in a good mood! The product is in a clear bottle with a stylish silver coloured cap and the Molton Brand logo is displayed on the front of the bottle. The contents are a gorgeous turquoise colour that remind you of a crystal blue sea. Overall this product is excellent quality; it leaves the skin moisturised, it is presented in beautiful packaging and the scent leaves you feeling uplifted. The only criticism is that it is very expensive; It is £17 for 300ml. I would say that it is worth splurging on for a special treat. There is also a body lotion available in this fragrance, if you wanted to try out the rest of the range.
This product is available from most high street beauty retailers and I bought it for £3.25 from Boots. For this price you get 200ml of gel and it comes in a clear plastic bottle and the gel inside is a very light brown colour. My experience of this product is that it left my skin feeling smooth and nourished and left it with a lovely glow. The best way to apply this gel is straight after a bath or shower when your skin is still damp and warm as this helps the gel absorb into your skin more easily. Only a small amount is needed, otherwise it can be too greasy and won't absorb into your skin properly. The smell of the product is gorgeous, it is more subtle than Palmer's cocoa butter, which I personally find to be a sickly smell. Overall this product is a good quality product from a trusted brand and it leaves the skin in excellent condition. It is also good to apply this product before a special evening out as it leaves skin looking fantastic and helps to show off areas such as: legs, shoulders and decolletage.
I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and found it to be a superior experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and secure; in the room there was plenty of bedding and towels and enough provision of tea and coffee. The room was spacious and airy and there was also air conditioning in the room if it was to get too hot and stuffy. There was also a great power shower which was great to wake you up in the morning and leave you feeling refreshed. The reception area was welcoming and had plenty of seating which was great, particularly, like me if you were waiting for friends. The staff were approachable and friendy and could not do enough to help. Check in wasn't meant to be until 2pm; yet they let us check in at 10am. They could not be more warm and accomodating! I have stayed in other Jury's inn hotels in Dublin, Sheffield and London; they were all wonderful. The hotel was ideally situated for the Deansgate area of Manchester and many of the bars and restaurants in that area of Manchester. The only criticism I have is that it is a bit too far to walk to the Arndale centre, the Triangle and the Printworks. However, there are good transport links to other parts of the city. There are free buses all over the centre from just outside the hotel and Deansgate train station is close by, which links with Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford road train stations. The room was very good value and cost me £60 for the room for the night. The rooms can hold up to three people and that equates to £20 a night each, which is amazing value.
I first discovered Fat face a couple of years ago when I visited Chester and I was hooked! I have now made a point when I visit any cities I seek out their stores. The clothing range is gorgeous: they offer bright, colourful clothing, that is stylish, fashionable and at the same time comfortable and wearable. They offer a wide variety of styles and cater to both men and women alike, giving both ranges an equal footing in each store. The colours used in the clothing ranges all match; so this enables you to create a capsule wardrobe were all the pieces work together. The jewellery is also wonderful, they have bright, beautiful beads in a variety of different designs. Often they sell jewellery in matching items, then you can buy a matching necklace and bracelet. They also have very high quality accessories, such as: scarves, bags, socks, shoes and belts. I have visited shops in Manchester, Chester, York, London and Dublin and have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient, but never too intimidating. They always ask if you need help and if you say you are browsing they leave you to look at the stock in peace. The Fat face brand is about providing clothing that is funky and unique, yet comfortable and functional;so that you can live your life to the full. The only criticism is that the clothing can be a little pricey and I tend to pick things up in the sale. However, the clothes are worth the monetary investment as they are made to a high, quality standard.
